Ali felt her stomach lurch as Crystaall Sehefadu kicked the speeder bike into a higher drive setting, the excitement warming her thighs pleasantly. She held on to her lover's waist tightly, enjoying the skill involved in Crystaall's piloting. As they neared the theatre, Crystaall spun the bike around and brought it to a smooth halt. Ali bit her bottom lip and smiled as Crystaall helped her from the back of the speeder bike and brought her to her heeled feet. Ali stole a long, deep kiss from Crystaall's warm mouth and whispered promises of repayment for the enjoyable ride before they made their way to the theatre entrance together, hand in hand. Ali was feeling quite excited at this point, though her glee was diminished significantly as Crystaall's mood seemed to dip to the extreme without provocation. The male Naboo attending the theatre ticket booth required payment up front, to which Crystaall replied angrily in a dangerous tone, grabbing the man by the collar. Ali was taken aback, shocked by the sudden change in her lover's mentality. Her actions and words were unacceptable for any individual, more so for a soldier. For the moment, Ali let Crystaall's words fall on her deaf ears, paying the attendant with a credchit as Crystaall made her way inside. Ali said nothing to the man, who's expression belied the fear and confusion he must have been feeling. She followed Crystaall into the theatre, taking a seat beside her in one of the center rows. Crystaall leaned in to kiss Ali's cheek, but she turned away, crossing one leg over the other and folding her arms neatly in her lap."That was unacceptable, Crys." Ali said curtly, keeping her voice low so as not to be overheard. Her own anger began to burn her cheeks, and she felt embarrassed for them both. Glancing over at Crystaall, Ali saw her sitting back, her face betraying nothing of her inner thoughts. Ali took a deep breath and her features softened as she reminded herself of her lover's struggles. What she was seeing was a part of Crystaall she had to grow accustomed to, grow to love, every bit as much as she was loving the rest of her. She had to love her darkness as much as she loved her mind or her body. Ali reached over with a hand and let it fall on her lover's knee, squeezing it gently before sliding her fingertips upwards beneath the hem of Crystaall's dress, caressing the soft skin of her thigh beneath the fabric. Tentatively, timidly even, Ali leaned towards her and kissed her slowly before pulling away just far enough to catch her lover's eye."No matter how far you go, I'll do my best to bring you back, each and every time." She promised.

*Crystaall sighed as Ali spoke to her, and she new the Mando'ad woman was frustrated with her. She also knew tat she would do her best to keep Crystaall in the light, but didn't understand her feelings of what she was going through. Crystaall wanted desperately to tell her that night eventually erases the light, but there was a cycle between the dark and the light, even in literal terms. She decided not to speak until she heard Ali's promise. Crystaall knew someone was taking her over... and that control would soon be a memory witin her soul. She sighed once more, another attempt at relaxation. She couldn't sit there in silence. She had to say something. She wasn't pumped with confidence, but she needed to know Ali's own view on darkness, or failing to fight what you swore to protect. Something honorable. Other than herself, she hoped.*
"I know you will try. But tell me, how far can you walk in the shadows and leave with your eyesight never being affected?"

Ali listened to Crystaall Sehefadu's thoughts, in her own way. She could do little more than take each idea down a particular thought path based on her own experiences with Crystaall. But they always led to a dead end, and Ali gave up the process as her lover spoke once more. The woman's voice was lined with intrigue, and Ali suddenly felt very important, very necessary. It made her feel wonderful, to have her thoughts sought after, especially by someone whom she held in such high regard. The Jensaarai woman was someone she wanted to love, to make love to, yes, but she was also someone Ali respected greatly. Her experience and history lorded over Ali, not like a shadow, but like a beacon, something to attain. Ali brushed a lock of hair behind her ear, thinking on Crystaall's question deeply before answering. "I get your analogy, Crys." Ali spoke, her words soft. She turned to face her lover, slipping both feet out of her heels and drawing them up to her thighs. She pulled aside the arm rest between them and leaned against the back of her seat, her hands resting in her lap. "But let me take your analogy as truth and say that just as your eyes adjust to the darkness, they likewise adjust back to the light."Ali smiled softly, the tension in her lips noticeable to only someone like Crystaall. "If I know anything about life, it's like an ocean, washing back and forth. The only absolute in the entire universe is the fact that there are no absolutes." Ali leaned forward and rested one hand on Crystaall's thigh, the other taking her wrist gently and drawing the prosthetic hand to her warm lips. "You may never fully own this evil you live with, but neither will it ever fully own you." She didn't know if her words would help, but they felt like the right words to say. To her own ears, Ali sounded exactly who she wanted to be: a woman in love. For that was what she was, a woman in love. And while some claimed love made a person blind, Ali had never seen things in such sharp contrast before. She knew with absolute certainty that there would always be a part of Crystaall's mind and heart for her to love, regardless of how far she fell. That was the simple nature of sentient beings. When they loved, they loved absolutely. And while Ali may have one day ended up hating Crystaall for falling so far into darkness, there would always be that part of her she still loved, that part of her she would fight for, even if it made her miserable to do so. In that moment, Ali realized she truly loved being who she was.

"I hope you're right Ali."
*Crystaall was uneasy with her response. She wasn't certain how she would get over her darker self, or even at all. But Ali's words rung true. This evil may not be able to be controlled, but it would never rule over her. Not unless she let it. She wanted to hug Ali, to kiss her, to do what she pleased with her; but something held her back. It wasn't herself, but she knew that she couldn't get too romantically involved. She knew tragedy was imminent wherever she went, one way or another. So Crystaall sat there and took a deep breath as she placed her left hand on Ali's own, which rested on her thigh. She glanced at Ali and gave her a small smile to try and ease the moment. *
"Ali.... thank you."
*She slowly leaned forward and kissed Ali on the lips and quickly took herself back after a few moments. She breathed deeply once more and hoped Ali understood Crystaall's loss for words.*

Ali looked up at her lover's face, responding softly. "I am right. Believe you, me." A wicked smile touched her lips as she spoke, and Ali leaned towards Crystaall Sehefadu as the woman moved to kiss her. She slipped her hand down the inside of Crystaall's thigh, between her legs, pulling her close with her other hand resting at the back of Crys's neck. As she enjoyed the warmth between her lover's thighs, Ali bit down playfully on Crystaall's bottom lip as they kissed, preventing her from leaning away. After a moment, Ali let Crystaall's lip slip from between her teeth and she whispered, just as the theatre lights began to dim in preparation for the show's beginning, "Never forget I'm the type of girl to go running towards a fight, not away from it. If you think your life, filled with whatever problems it has, is any different to me, Crys…you're wrong. Even if that fight is you."The smaller woman began to slide her hand from between Crystaall's thighs, feeling confident and aroused. She knew Crystaall wanted her in her life, she just didn't want Ali getting hurt in the process. It was a good feeling, one that told Ali her worries were baseless, and that whatever internal issues Crystaall was having had nothing to do with their relationship. Ali didn't want to see their lives torn apart by the darkness of Crystaall's past or present, but leaving the woman to fend for herself would do more harm than good. To prevent their future together from splintering, Ali couldn't leave, or she would be doing just that. In Ali's mind, it was better to fight on and be defeated, than to give up once the fighting began.

*Ali seemed to be determined to stick by her side, she'd probably beat the dark side out of her if she could. Crystaall chuckled at this, but soon blushed as Ali's hands slide near her thighs. She knew Ali would fight for her, and expected Crystaall to fight on with her, against her own evil, but she knew it would be pointless. She would eventually lose, and she couldn't live inside a body that no longer belonged to her. She had to fight, not with her strength, but with her mind. If she would lose, then the spirit within would die with her. Crystaall sighed and grinned at Ali and winced her eyes.*
"Let us hope it will never come to that. I would have lost already, if I ever fought you."
*She spoke in truth with her fake smile. She knew she would have to lose her inner strength and her will to ever think about fighting any of her friends, including this woman she has come to care for. Crystaall knew this inner turmoil had to end someday, she just hoped Ali would never witness the evil that continues to strike at her core.*

Ali didn't miss the rouge that blessed her lover's face as she stroked the insides of her thighs. Ali smiled to herself as the performance began, the darkly sweet words of Crystaall Sehefadu's voice gracing her ears. She knew that any conflict between them would be as much of bodies as it would be of minds, though Ali's fight would be against the AI that constantly sought to take control of Crystaall's future. Ali didn't much believe in fate, but she began to feel such a confrontation might be inevitable. She had no intention of leaving Crys, and neither did the darkness inside her lover's living form. At some point, they would face one another, and Ali was not entirely sure she had the skill and strength to overpower such darkness. The AI would have control of Crystaall's body, which was skilled at many things, most of all killing. As the couple watched the performance play itself out, Ali couldn't help but find parallels between the story and her own situation with Ali. It was a tale of love and compassion, as was her own, but wrought with hardship and evils that played against the two lovers involved. Ali found the connection ironic; of all the performances they could have seen that night, the one they chose struck a particular cord with Ali and Crystaall's own situation. Nonetheless she enjoyed the performance, the actors themselves were skilled vocalists, and the accompanying orchestra was nothing short of superb. Over the next couple of hours, Ali enjoyed the singing and dancing and acting, the twists and turns of the plot. She would reach for Crystaall's hand when she feared for a character's life, or lightly caress Crystaall's thigh or breast when two of the actors shared an intimate moment. Ali felt connected to Crystaall through the performance itself, as they were both connected to the story in several ways. It was an interesting experience, to be affected emotionally by such acting and storytelling, and in that time Ali was able to forget for a while the difficulties their love might face.

*The conflict of love has always been hard to see. Especially for someone like Crystaall, a go-to gal for getting the job done, and making sure everyone stayed alive in the process. It was even harder with her many teachings that conflicted one another, with being trained as a Jedi, being forced into bounty hunting and other times at war with the Empire, which remained in hiding for all she knew. But love was complicated in its own way, and with Crystaall and Ali feeling strong emotions for each other, it could possibly help them, help each other. But there were things Crystaall could tell Ali that she hadn't yet. The darkness that plagued her was no longer an AI, but should Ali know the true evil, she might understand why Crystaall would join it, or leave her behind to fight alone. She tried to concentrate on the play, one of love and serenity that nearly came close to their own situations with its difficulties and demons that attempted to halt the emotions of the two lovebirds. The skill of the play was great, and the music somehow made her feel right at home. The classical, dramatic music done by a great orchestra allowed Crystaall to relax for a moment as she closed her eyes and tried to relive her greatest moments, as if the music guided her in those times. As they play went on, Crystaall could lightly feel Ali's interest in the story as she felt the soft touch of her hand or the small movement along her breast or her thigh. The play did experience darkness, which allowed Crystaall to focus on her own past. But this was another story to tell at another time as she continued to watch the play through its dark and light moments, allowing Ali to give off her emotions how ever she pleased as the hours passed them by.*

Ali found herself leaning against her lover as the final curtain closed, her bare leg draped across Crystaall's lap, her arm wrapped around the woman's waist. As the performers presented themselves for applause, Ali slid her naked leg from Crystaall's lap and returned her feet to her heels. She stood and slung her handbag over her shoulder, then reached for Crystaall's hand. "Come, love." Ali spoke, her rouge lips breaking into a smile. Her eyes were alight with passion, insistence; her arousal had reached its peak. Ali wanted to take Crystaall, own her for a night, and be owned by her forever. Her mind was clouded with passion, arousal, and sexual aggression. She wanted so badly to be a distraction, to pull Crystaall's heart and mind from her darkness, from her self-destructive negativity. And Ali wouldn't have it any other way than for her to serve Crystaall, to become such a wonderful distraction her lover would have no choice but to forget her worries for a time. Ali knew of no other weapon for distraction than the pleasures of her body.

*The performance soon closed as quickly as it started with a loud applause. Crystaall felt Ali's leg slip off her lap as the woman stood up and gave out her hand. She reached for Ali's forearm and gripped it tightly as she pulled herself up, hoping she didn't pull Ali down instead. The words 'Come, love' rung through her ears as she stood up and continued to hold Ali's arm. She could sense the passion this woman had for her. Ali wanted her, and desperately. But she could tell that it wasn't for self pleasure. Ali's arousal was driven by something else, and Crystaall could guess it had been influenced by her darker emotions, rather than her happiness. This arousal rose Crystaall's own, but she shut it down quickly. She wasn't sure if she was ready for such a feat.*

Some time after leaving the theatre, Ali found herself in the rear seat of the speeder bike, leaning comfortably against her lover's shoulder. Crystaall Sehefadu had made the ride back to her home a long one, exposing Ali to all the lights and beauty of Theed City along the way. It had been a pleasant ride as the city was so much more alive at night than it seemed to be during the day. Ali slid off the back of the speeder as Crystaall shut down the engines and stowed the vehicle away once more, then granted them entry to her home once again. Ali followed Crystaall down the stone carved stairs that led to the courtyard, feeling as nervous as she was aroused. In Crystaall, Ali saw infinite opportunities for happiness and pleasure, the chance to be taken utterly by another woman that brought her blood to a boil. And yet she felt more nervous than she had been even the first time she had shared her bed with another being. She felt like a young girl again, ignorant of the dark sides of life and eager to pursue the future. Behind Crystaall, Ali pulled a small flask from her handbag, sipping generously from the liquor within to soothe her nerves. As the couple reached the courtyard, Ali replaced the flask in her handbag and left it on the floor with her heels, enjoying the cool stone floor against her naked feet. Almost cautiously, Ali slipped her hands around Crystaall's waist from behind, leaving them to rest against the woman's belly for a moment as she brushed her lips against her lover's bare shoulder. She felt nothing but the heat of her own passion, the safety that Crystaall's powerful form provided her. She loved feeling like a girl again, full of youth and uncertainty that made every experience in life seem new and mysterious."I have wanted this for so long, Crys." Ali murmured against the skin of Crystaall's naked shoulder. She kissed her lightly there, her hands searching, calm and controlled, but with a slight air of desperation. "Never before have I felt such a desire, such a need."

*The trip was longer than before, having shown off the beautiful lights of Theed city. It only took a matter of a few seconds to stow away the speeder, enter her access code and walk down the the steps with Ali behind her. The feelings she had rarely experienced were getting to her. The feelings of arousal, pleasure and many others. She was tempted to go along with these emotions, but she kept pushing them back. She never felt these desires at this 'extreme', and she couldn't figure if this was what she truly wanted. Ali came up quickly, but carefully from her back. Her hands wrapped from her waist to her stomach and she stood there silently. Her own passion collided with Ali's own, as she could already feel her lover's warmth mask itself around them. Ali was a soldier in a force meant to halt tyranny, and Crystaall had accomplished feats of legend, but she never did experience something like this, and she could tell Ali was letting go of everything to give in to her basic desires. The lips that rested on her shoulder forced Crystaall to gasp under her breath out of shock. The sound of desperation was hidden in her voice as Crystaall continued to stand and listen. But her mind began to speak for her.*
"Ali, I'm not sure we should be moving so quickly into this."

Crystaall Sehefadu's words left Ali feeling confused as she drew her lips away from her lover's neck. She gripped the woman's sides firmly and turned her around, Ali's own strength momentarily overpowering Crystall's own. Ali's eyes, suddenly confused and hurt, locked with Crystaall's own as she gently took the other woman's face in her hand. In Ali's gaze was her own frustration, though it was overshadowed by the fierce desire and arousal that warmed her thighs and chest. She wanted Crystaall to take her, to have her, and the look on Ali's face told the Jensaarai woman how determined she was to have her way. "Crys, I can feel the need in your voice, I can hear it. You are wanting, and I am willing. How could this possibly be too fast? We have drawn blood together, we share love together. We know what we want from one another, and I would rather have it now while we have the chance than to let it slip from our fingers and regret it forever."

"Ali.. I do want this, but I am not prepared for something like this. I may want it, but if I give myself to you now....."
*Crystaall stopped herself as she spoke, this was a moment she had been wanting with Ali, but for it to happen now seemed like a mistake. She felt like something had been rushed, and perhaps she led Ali on with her excessive trust or her passion and lust to see Ali and to watch her work herself in battle. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply as she looked at Ali.*
"I'm sorry, but this is not the pace I had expected. With the danger of me turning to something I never thought I'd see again, love is the next thing to making me become that evil I fear. If I do this now, I fear my passion for you will become too great, that I will seek for the impossible and I could possibly hurt you in the process. I could never regret stopping now and taking a moment to see how far we've gotten. Because then we'll know if we are ready."
*Crystaall slowly backed away from Ali, placing her hands on Ali's shoulders. She could still feel her friend's arousal, her partner's arousal. She could feel the dtermination in the air and she knew this decision would make her seem like a fool.*
"I can't do this.... not tonight. I'm sorry."

Ali tried to be understanding. She really did. As she listened to Crystaall Sehefadu's words, Ali withdrew her lips from her lover's neck and stepped to her side. She let her hand slide along Crystaall's hips with the motion of her body, placing the other atop the Jensaarai woman's right shoulder. Before Ali could reply, however, Crystaall stepped away, turning to rest her own hands on Ali's shoulders. Ali's eyes narrowed as Crystaall spoke her words, a firmness in her voice. Ali felt her jaw twitch and her arousal begin to mutate into an embarrassed tinge on her cheeks. "No…" Ali muttered, a rock forming suddenly in her gut. "All you focus on is your darkness, Crys." Ali reached forward and grasped her firmly by the hips, pulling Crystaall close again. "Forget your darkness, forget everything. That's what love is about…focusing not on yourself but on another person!" Ali's voice became fret with concern and frustration as her efforts were rebuked. "I don't give my heart to just anyone, Crys. I want to give it to you. I want to give all of me to you." A heat began to rise in her, not betwixt her legs, but across her chest and neck. Ali knew she was growing angry, the last thing she wanted to feel. "Why can't you just accept that? And trust that I can handle whatever it is that comes!?"

*Crystaall sighed and took in a deep breath as Ali began to speak. She could feel the anger in Ali's voice as it began to rise. Ali's anger only fueled Crystaall's, and she knew that this was the worst outcome of their relationship. She desperately wanted to take Ali in her arms, but not now. She wanted to forget about her darkness, but it weighed too heavily on her mind to simply push it to the side. And now she has angered one of the few people she could truly care for. She wanted to calm down her friend, her companion, but her own anger rose. How could she know what she's gone through? To see friends and family die in front of her face? Deaths she could never forget, traumatized by the knowledge of never hearing their voices again?*
"Why can't I accept this? Why can't you accept the fact that there are more important things than love? And its not my own darkness I am focused on. I never explained to you everything about me. My darkness is not what I am troubled by, but if I explained it to you, you either wouldn't understand or just believe that I am trying to push all the attention on myself."
*She paused for a moment, and then started up with her anger focused within her voice.*
"You want to handle whatever comes!? Then for once, understand that you can't control the obstacles that challenge you! I would love to give myself to you, to take what you can give me, but I can't. Not everything can happen the way we want it to."

Ali's nostrils flared and her eyes widened at Crystaall Sehefadu's accusations. She took a step back, her hands balling into fists as her frustration grew. Crystaall had told Ali enough to know there were some serious complications to her life, which Ali understood. But she felt it was her choice to decide if she walked that plank or not. And she wanted to, she so desperately wanted to. The things they could enjoy together, the things Ali could learn…it was more than just sex. Sex she could live without, though she'd never opt to given the choice. What was killing her in that moment was an overwhelming sense of rejection, both emotional and physical. Ali had done her best to open up and enjoy the little time she had with Crystaall, but the Jensaarai woman had remained distant and worrisome since Ali had arrived. She was trying, she was trying so hard. She bit her lip to keep it from trembling, forcing herself to maintain a calm and even tone."The only thing more important than love, Crys, is protecting that love. You have major problems, I get it, but I don't care!" Ali brought herself forward once more towards Crystaall, reaching for her hand. "I can tell you've been walking this one path for so long, it might just be all you know anymore. But what about the path not taken, heh? What about closing yourself off for so long that you never even get a taste of what you deserve!?" Ali gestured to herself, pressing a hand between her breasts. "ME."

*It was all true. Every damn word Ali spoke was true. This was the only path she knew, and it was a path she had not been forced down, but chosen so she could protect others from suffering the fates of the people she lost long ago. Ali didn't what her problems were, and she wanted Crystaall to take a path she wasn't use to. It was something hard to do for an individual, but it was even harder for herself for having so many different influences in her life and so many different people that she fought, loved and made allies with. To take a new path with Ali would be unthinkable for a Jedi, but maybe that was the mindset that she was chained within. A Jedi mindset which she threw away when she began her journey off of Yavin. Her journey to find more to her past only led her to the very thing she never wanted a part of in the first place. She never wanted to be a Jedi, but she became one. And now she was faced with a choice, to throw away something she could regret, or to take it in with an open mind and an open hand. That was her choice.*
"Ali... I apologize for being so, afraid of what this could be in negativity. I never realized how much this could really mean to you, and how much I would hate myself.. if I kept thinking like I was. I've been stuck in the mind of something I hoped to never become. I've done so many things on my own, I couldn't bear to think how another could enter my chaotic life, but I realize... that I shouldn't care about how... I should care about who. Ali, I am willing to walk down the unknown path with you."
*Crystaall put out her right hand open, with the metal palm facing upwards as Crystaall looked in Ali's eyes.*
"Promise me you'll understand if I hesitate on even small things that we may encounter."

Ali stepped closer to her lover and brought her hand over the one Crystaall Sehefadu offered her palm up. Her fingertips brushed gently along the smooth strength of Crystaall's prosthetic hand before clasping it tightly in her own. Ali was looking down at the floor, listening to every word Crystaall had to say, her eyes focused on her naked toes. As Crystaall's legs came into view, Ali brought her gaze upward, her head tilted slightly to the side, a lock of dark hair cutting across her face. She brushed it out of the way, then murmured tentatively in response. "I understand Crys." Ali whispered, her voice but a breath of air. "It can seem better to not love at all than lose something so dear to you." Ali brought Crystaall's hand to her own cheek, nuzzling it gently then kissing her palm. "So...will you take me then?" Ali muttered, stepping closer, till her body was pressed against Crystaall's, absorbing the other woman's warmth. Ali lowered Crystaall's hand, leaving it to rest against her hip, then lightly grasped the other woman with both hands. She ran her fingers gently across Crystaall's body, feeling the fabric of her dress wrinkle and slip free beneath her roving touch. "I think we can risk that."

*Crystaall sighed and smiled at Ali. She could feel the warmth from Ali increasing her own and it suddenly made her feel better than the few seconds before, when she was in doubt. Ali truly didn't know much about her except what she has seen of her battle and what she has heard from Crystaall. This let a little worry dwindle in her mind, of how many secrets she should keep and how many to tell. Not everything was true and the galaxy seemed to be getting darker by the moment. Maybe this was the light she finally needed. When Ali grasped her hand Crystaall smiled even wider and nodded at the Leftenant.*
"If I am taking you, I'm hoping initiative runs in your heritage. This old girl can only see so much."
*Crystaall laughed in her head as she said this, even giggling when she spoke. To speak of herself as old was not very common, but it wasn't far from the truth. Crystaall decided to gently pull Ali toward the couch, wondering how Ali learned to use her fingers so smoothly. It didn't bother her much as arouse her and she expected Ali to know where this was going, using the Force to dim the lights almost to pitch black. Wouldn't want the cameras to see anything she didn't want recorded.*
"I hope you know how to lead."
*Crystaall almost whispered this as they got to the couch.*
