Continuing with her task at hand, Delaana had her undivided attention onto the meat that she was cooking when she was done with that, considering that she did not want to overcook it especially that afterwards, she'd be adding the tomato sauce, she turned off the stove and glanced at Elika with a warm and teasing smile when she returned in the kitchen. "And where exactly did you want me to go, when I said that I wouldn't be going anywhere." Lana replied playfully before tilting her head on the side and glanced at the still sizzling meat, so she moved the pan aside so that it wouldn't burn at all.
Walking in Elika's direction and placing a hand onto her waist as she stood behind the architect, Lana placed her chin onto Elika's shoulder. "It was the eyes and the shy smile, my shakal." Lana admitted softly before tilting her head on the side to gently peck Elika's neck. "I also did find it cute when you were speaking, but I could tell that you were a little nervous, so I backed away in the thought that maybe it was best to do so." Grinning at the memory of yesterday when they have met for the first time, and she also remembered Franz asking her to hold the turbolift for him, it was a good thing that he did.
Standing aside for the time being, Lana tilted her head on the side and smiled warmly, she found the worried frown on Elika's features cute. "I did say earlier that I would help out, so no I do not mind helping and you can forget about Miss Manners, she has no say on this." Grinning faintly Lana placed her hand onto Elika's cheek and rubbed her lower lip with her thumb. "So please do turn your frown upside down, and just know that I really like helping you out here, and just being here with you." Winking playfully and unable to help herself, Lana did steal a kiss but thankfully she retreated soon enough when someone came into the kitchen.
Ryan Solaris, doctor on a sabbatical and also Crystal's half brother. Lana smiled and even wanted to help him out but he instructed to not pay attention to him at all. "Hello and it's nice seeing you again as well, Ryan." Delaana said sincerely, she had been on the verge to call him doctor Solaris but apparently he preferred to be called by his name. Watching him go after he had taken a beer, Lana glanced at Elika with a knowing grin. "Tell me, should we start cooking now, or wait until they are hungry?" Lana asked curiously considering that she was just a helper right now, and also considering that Elika had spoken, Lana assumed at least, with the women in the living room, she would know best.

Though she had not replied verbally to some of what Crystal and Lily had said before returning to the kitchen, Elikapeka's expressions at the time had probably communicated all that she might have said, probably both more eloquently and forthrightly; from the pleased smile that curled the left corner of her lips upward when Crystal had expressed her happiness that it seems as though Elika may have found someone who will be there for her to lean on, to the theatrically aggrieved roll of her eyes that answered Lily's teasing about making excuses to linger in the kitchen.
"Oh, believe me, I didn't want you to go anywhere, Elika answers with a cocquettish smile when Delaana teasingly asks where it is Elika wanted her to go. Stiffening slightly when Delaana walks up behind her and places her chin on Elika's shoulder, not out of any discomfort, merely in surprise, Elika feels a tiny surge of anxiety when hearing Delaana say 'my shakal' makes her shiver despite the heat she feels on her cheeks and neck; the anxiety stemming from how she feels suddenly coltish, like a gawky inexperienced teen experiencing such feelings as those Delaana has given rise to within her for the first time. Elika would normally be unable to prevent the anxiety from swelling, but when she feels Delaana's lips on her neck her thoughts blissfully and mercifully evaporate away as she relaxes and leans back.
Having missed most of what Delaana had said after kissing her neck, Elika smiles as though she has been following all that was said, a hand resting on the counter since she has a deliciously rubbery feeling in her legs that Delaana does not help in the least when she puts a hand on Elika's cheek and traces her lower lip with a thumb before kissing her again.
"Hi! Elika, blushing as much from embarrassment as from the effect Delaana has on her, says a bit too loudly when Ryan enters the kitchen, turning around a bit drunkenly and reaching for something to make it look like she was doing anything other than what she had been doing even though she has absolutely no idea why it is that she should be embarrassed by what she had been doing anyway. Looking at the knife she had grabbed as though momentarily unsure what it is used for, Elika smiles when Ryan opens the fridge after saying it is nice to see them, and parrots cheerfully and a bit too loudly, Nice to see you too!"
Laughing as she leans back against the counter after Ryan has left, Elika makes a serious face as she asks Delaana, "I think I was pretty smooth there, right? Nodding and then lifting her hand to cover her face, Elika shakes her head and says, I totally blame you, in a tone that makes it clear that she isn't really complaining. Taking her spectacles off and wiping the lenses with a handkerchief, Elika crinkles her nose as she muses aloud to herself as much as to Delaana, It could have been worse. It could have been Lily that walked in. Laughing with a shake of her head, Elika takes a deep breath and lets it out before teasingly suggesting, You should probably stay on that side of the stove, and I'll, she pats the side nearest the sink, stay on this one. Otherwise I'm not sure we'll get much cooking done. Over there, Elika tells Delaana with a kittenish smile while nodding towards the opposite side of the stove, Ok? Ok, she says with a nod, then resumes preparing the sauce while suggesting, We can get the sauce simmering at least, and then just handle the rest when we know Atlantis and Andros are on the way? Once we have it simmering we can go out and join the others, or, she tilts her head to the side, pursing her lips in thought as she recalls Delaana asking about the possibility earlier, I could show you some of my work before we join them?"

I am still looking at baby girl, since compared to me, she would be able to track her brother down without going through comlink or message ... But, as if the man has been summoned, I hear Ryan's voice in the hallway which makes me smile when baby girl says the obvious. Waiting for him when he comes into view, I notice that he has plenty of grocery bags and he even got me my favorite! "Thank you, hot stuff." I smile grabbing the chocolate box and kiss him back when he does, but before I can say anything about him going to the kitchen, he is already on his way over there. That should be fun ... I giggle at the thought while putting the box onto the coffee table and glance at baby girl with a playful look, and before I can comment on that, I hear gorgeous' tone, for speaking a little too loudly. Although the words are faint, so I cannot make something out of it.
"I think your brother interrupted something in the kitchen ..." It's not really that I think, it's more that I know considering that I do know gorgeous and her loud tone over there was a dead give away but brushing that matter aside, I take a sip of my wine and relax further before noticing that Ryan is coming back and I lean against him when he sits down next to me. I am already aware that he has heard about what has occurred today, he said that when he came into view a while ago, but I have also noticed that he doesn't believe it at all ... I really am not surprised that he doesn't believe that, besides, he has known the brothers for a while ago, from what I recall.
"Baby girl, let's just put that to rest for the time being," I know that it is easier said than done, but us talking about it constantly will only have everyone frustrated, feeling even more powerless, and in the end, there is no point in really dwelling on that now, when we all know where each and everyone of us stand on that matter. Putting my wine glass down onto the coffee table, I turn to look at Ryan momentarily and kiss his temple as a thank you for not only the chocolate and also the groceries, but for the fact that he is currently here as well and for the fact that obviously he has made it loud and clear on which side he is standing.
"We need some music to liven this place up at little." Standing up from the couch after extricating myself from Ryan's arm, I stand in front of baby girl and lean over to kiss the top of her head. "Of course, they'll be more relaxed here with us." It's really a no brainer, it'll be a haven for them plus back in the garden there are enough millaflowers to pt them at ease if necessary. Walking over the sound system in the living room, I purposely select a song for baby girl, which I know she loves and speaks to her from beginning to end. "Your song." Winking at Crystal knowingly before returning to the couch with the system's controller, I let that rest on the coffee table. "If you are wondering where your other cousin is," Glancing at baby girl with a warm smile before looking back at Ryan knowingly as I add on. "He happens to be on a date with his masseuse from TaSpa!."

If Ryan had really paid that much attention when he was in the kitchen, he would have seen that he had definitely interrupted something, it would have caused him to apologize profusely, it would have made him come up with something awkward to say perhaps. But thankfully he wasn't that much into what was happening between Elikapeka and Delaana but Elikapeka's tone was a little bit of indication, although he had thought that she had spoken loudly because he had been leaving the kitchen. Now that he was concentrated on the emotions occurring in the lakehouse, not only he could feel worry but at the same time embarrassment somehow along with some cool, calm and collected but also settled emotions. He did not get much into it because fact was, he was much more focused onto his sister, who was really and probably worried about the Vyridian twins and especially Fly Boy, he guessed.
Taking a sip of his beer, he looked at the bottle and noticed that he had picked the wrong one from wanting to get out of the women's space in the kitchen. He made a face at that and shuddered; he clearly had two options right now that was to go back there to take another one that he preferred, or just finished this one. Clearly, he did not want to get back in the kitchen in the fear to interrupt the women, so he just settled for finishing this beer. Putting it down on the coffee table after placing a coaster beneath it, he looked at Crystal when asked if he had heard all of that due to the fact that it currently was the talk in the city. Nodding faintly without saying a thing at all, because he did not want to aggravate the situation that already seemed back, Ryan just settled there on the couch before smiling slightly when he had been informed that Andros and Atlantis would come here this evening. "In the middle of you all, I have no doubt about that." Ryan said warmly before pointing at Lily who had reiterated that.
He was glad that she was here, although he was certain that Lily would have a long and busy weekend because of that, but then again he did not complain about that at all, she always managed to make things work. Lily always made things worked, that much he knew and she always had the same affect on him. When she kissed his temple, he had been grinning like a ninny he guessed, but what could he do about that? He was smitten. Shrugging faintly at the thought before watching her putting some music on, Ryan smirked at the song and understood completely what Lily meant when she said that it was his sister's song. "Why am I not surprised?" Ryan playfully said glancing at his sister chuckling as he picked up his beer again and took a long chug of it until he lowered the bottle and looked at his girlfriend when he was informed that Franz was on a date.
"That must have been one heck of massage for Franz then, if he is currently on a date with his masseuse." He playfully said with a chuckle but truth be told, he was glad for Franz, "Which reminds me, how was the spa and also..." Ryan pursed his lips thoughtfully and looked in the kitchen's direction knowing exactly that both of his sister and girlfriend would understand anyways, he looked back at the two of them dubiously with a raised eyebrow. "Back there, or did I really miss something?"

Delaana knew perfectly that it had been her fault if Elika seemed to be blushing and seemed to be embarrassed. She wasn't going to deny that at all because when she had felt Elika leaning against her when Lana had kissed her neck, she could only imagine what might have been going through the architect's mind. "I do not know what you are talking about." Lana innocently said, as innocently as she could muster right now when Elika blamed her. Winking at her though and just acting playfully ask if nothing had happened at all and that she wasn't the cause of it for that, Lana soon pouted though, even sticking her lower lip out when Elika told her that it was best that she stood on the other side of the stove.
"Awww..." Lana pretend to sniffle and also pretended to grudgingly move over to where Elika had indicated for her to be. "Do you realize how difficult this will be for me?" Smiling nonetheless, because she was in fact just joking, although there was some truth for that, she did like being close to Elika if and when it was permitted at least. Unfortunately though, Elika was right, they wouldn't be able to do much cooking if they were close. Feeling relieved, at least her expression showed relief right now that they were only going to deal with the sauce, nothing more and nothing else, Lana looked at Elika mischievously before nodding. "I'd really like to see your work before joining them first." Lana said with a playful smile before adding on teasingly. "At least I can have you for myself for a little while longer." Nibbling her lower lip, Lana winked playfully at Elika before really staying put on that side of the stove while she carried on with the rest of the preparation for the sauce at least.
Looking briefly over her shoulder when she hears a song playing, it made her smile and she started to dance along with the song's rhythm just so she could keep her mind occupied and not actually go stand closer to Elika, but then she stopped dancing altogether and looked at the architect with a dubious expression. "You don't mind if I dance, do you?" Lana genuinely asked, she was only helping really considering that from what she could tell, it seemed like whatever Lana might do, and she wasn't really doing it on purpose, it may distract Elika...

"Perhaps Ryan did..." Crystal said with a faint giggle as she overheard Elika speaking loudly from where they were located. "Maybe we shall have a progress report on how they really are faring in the kitchen?" Either way if it came to that, to ordering in, they could definitely do that, it wasn't a problem at all, and she wasn't going to complain if they didn't actually manage to get the cooking started. When her brother returned to the living room and confirmed with a nod that indeed the current events were the talk of the town, Crystal wasn't surprised by that at all, it was to be expected, and she was thankful that they lived outside of town with no neighbors around for a few miles to overhear those things.
Crystal had no complaints when Lily said that they should put that to rest for the time being, even if it was easier said than done, that was a fact, there was nothing much they could do from where they were standing anyways. Hopefully when Andros and Atlantis do arrive, she would have some form of relief, it was just difficult for her to actually stand on the side when her boyfriend, her boyfriend's brother were dealing with these things. She was attuned to the Force, had some proficiency in some powers, perhaps she could have helped, only not really, she was no where near their mastery at all. These were some of the moments she actually thought that perhaps she should have trained much more in the Force, but she knew that she would only be standing in the way, it wasn't overnight that someone could be that strong, could master a power. It often took a lifetime.
Sighing restlessly, Crystal closed her eyes momentarily and enjoyed the comfort from Lily's kiss on the top of her head. "Hmmm..." Crystal said mindlessly when Lily suggested that they needed some music, and when the song started to play, Crystal looked at Lily knowingly before laughing and shaking her head. Her laughter doubled though because of Ryan's comment about Franz and Ayodele and she threw him a warning glance before shaking her head. "You two are really meant for one another, mind out of the gutter Ryan, will you." Rolling her eyes playfully and shaking her head as she took another sip of her wine, she looked over her brother once more dubiously when he asked about the spa and also about Elika and Lana. "A little, although you can thank your girlfriend for playing matchmaker during the afternoon and also our Toydarian waiter, they seemed to be in cahoots." Despite the whole thing that downed everyone's mood, it had overall been a great moment at the spa. Pookie managing to get a date with Ayodele, Elika and Lana having a mutual attraction. That was really just a good highlight of her day.
"If all goes well, we might see Ayodele, Franz's masseuse, tomorrow for apparently your girlfriend's bikini fantasy." Rolling her eyes playfully before shaking her head slightly, another thought came to mind soon enough though, which caused her to look at her brother dubiously. "Have you heard from Ares today or is he still AWOL?"

As Elikapeka is pretty sure that Delaana knows exactly what she is talking about despite her protest to the contrary, Elika has no problem arching an eyebrow incredulously as she tells her in a you're not fooling anyone tone, "I'm pretty sure you know exactly what I'm talking about," and even though she had been trying to look and serious, is incapable of accomplishing either when Delaana pouts while moving to her side of the stove as Elika had asked, proving to Elika that she can make even pouting look cute, something that comes as little surprise to Elika.
"It'll be difficult for both of us, Elika tells Delaana with an I'm being ever so very serious here frown accompanied by a theatrically forlorn gaze, but I think we'll be stronger for having endured the separation when it ends, or something like that, Elika adds with a laugh as she starts adding the diced onions, minced garlic, and olive oil into a large stock pot. Smiling when Delaana expresses that she would like to see Elika's work before they join everyone in the living room, Elika begins sauteing the onions and garlic as she looks over and nods when Delaana says she will have Elika all to herself. Well, Elika says in a theatrically reluctant tone, coquettishlly smiling and making it apparent there is no reluctance involved at all, for a little while," as though to suggest that a little while is all she prefers when it is obvious that she would rather they had longer were it not unsociable of them to simply go off alone.
Fortunately for everyone, Elika has finished the sauteing and is only adding the tomatoes and other spices to the stock pot when Delaana begins dancing to the song someone has started to play, since the dancing proves distracting enough to Elika that she entirely forgets about the sauce as well as forgetting how not to stare. Blinking and, realizing she still has the finely chopped basil leaves in the palm of her hand hovering forgotten over the stock pot, smiling as though not having been broken out of the almost entranced state she had been in, Elika drops the basil leaves into the pot with a casual shrug of her shoulders and says, "No, no I don't mind, why would I mind? Waving one hand and picking up her wine glass in the other, Elika says cheerfully, Dance all you want! Who would mind that? Not me. Nope. Not at all." Shaking her head as much to clear it as to illustrate how little she minds the dancing, Elika rests her wine glass against the side of her neck as though to cool herself, then sets it down and looks intently focused on the task as she adds the last of the spices to the sauce and then sets the pot to simmer.
After they have the sauce safely simmering away, Elika and Delaana pass through the living room on their way to Elika's studio. "We'll be right back, Elika says, I'm just going to show Delaana something. Cringing as she realizes all of the Lily-like comments from Lily she has invited by not being more specific, Elika says, My art work, beautiful, so get your mind out of its usual place please. Once they are in her studio, which Elika keeps orderly enough despite all of the books, data cards, found materials and other things she uses in her design work or her art, as well as the other debris her passions for music and art lead her to collect on the shelves and, in some instances, on the floor, Elika waves a hand around and says, My studio, as though there might be some question about where they are, then laughs as she realizes she is pointing out the obvious. Walking towards her drafting table, beside which a few canvases are stacked against the wall, asks a bit nervously, since she always feels more than a little self-conscious when showing her work to anyone, So, what would you like to see? Some of my architectural designs? I have a few paintings, mostly landscapes. Stepping towards one of the many crammed bookshelves, Elika roots around for some of her sketch books as she adds, Or I could show you one of my sketch books if you wanted, flipping through the first one she finds, an older one filled mostly with her early design work and portrait work, Elika sets it back on the shelf with a shrug and smiles as she crinkles her nose and, not wanting to hover and risk making Delaana uncomfortable as she looks through whatever she feels like looking through which usually makes people feel as though they have to comment on what they are looking at, tells her, I won't hover over you, so whatever you want to see, just feel free to look through it."

Stifling a laughter at my hot stuff of a doctor's comment about Pookie's massage, I literally laugh out loud when that is followed by baby girl's comment and warning to her brother. Thankfully I am not currently holding my wine, just really thankfully I am not holding right now currently because that would have ended up badly. Looking knowingly at baby girl and shrugging nonchalantly, I smile soon enough about our spa outing. "She just happened to have joined us, and for once I had nothing to do with that." Which is the truth, the Hapan bombshell just showed up in the steam room when I had been talking about her, it had been a lovely coincidence ... And then the rest is history. "Please, if I had not said the obvious, they wouldn't be in this position maybe." They kept missing one another's gaze, I had to point out the obvious. My job has been fulfilled and I can probably sleep half-way happy and I get to see gorgeous happy which has been my goal ever since I got here on this planet.
Picking up my glass of wine to take a sip of it, I settle comfortably against Ryan and smile when baby girl informs her brother about my tomorrow plan. "Mhmm, which means," Patting hot stuff's cheek gently with my free hand, I look up at him with a knowing smile. "If Pookie says she is going to come, you can be there tomorrow, otherwise I am benching you hot stuff." Giggling at the thought and pecking his cheek to soften the blow maybe, I smile once more looking at him before returning my wine glass onto the table while the siblings talk about their other brother, who had been unreachable for quite some time now. Curious, but then I can tell that baby girl is worried about him, if only he could have the decency to contact either Crystal or Ryan, everyone will be settled ...
Right now though, just when I turn my head, I notice that both Gorgeous and the Hapan bombshell seem to be just passing through and it is making me wonder what they are up to now since I am assuming that they are done in the kitchen, but with Gorgeous' statement, I cannot help but to look at her slyly and mischievously. "Uh huh ..." Despite gorgeous being more specific, that doesn't help at all, which causes me to laugh that much before saying loud enough for her to hear. "I am sure that you will show her the right contours of every curves!" Laughing again and shaking my head at the thought, gorgeous makes it too easy sometimes, and she really isn't helping at all with my imagination. "Oh c'mon, she was asking for it." I say mainly to baby girl since between her and Ryan, Crystal will be the one who might be tossing a glare in my direction and act all mom.

If there had been one thing that Ryan had learned ever since he permanently settled onto Umgul, it was to never play referee between his sister and his girlfriend. So for now, he just listened and did not take part in their bantering at all because one he knew that it was how Crystal and Lily rolled and interacted on a day to day basis and two, he'd probably get into trouble if he sided one way or the other. Therefore right now he was just sipping his beer, and enduring the taste of it without showing so much of an emotion that would potentially get him into trouble. Now he guessed that he was a little bit into trouble when his sister told him to get his mind of the gutter when he had commented about Franz's massage. He just lifted his free hand to say that he wasn't even going to comment any further but still it amused him that much when Crystal said that he and Lily were really meant for one another.
Despite the context of that statement, Ryan was actually proud of that, and clearly it showed when he smiled at the thought. He guessed indeed that he had been fortunate to have found Lily, that she accepted him for who he was, despite how they actually started but that was all in the past now, and he had never been more certain about a woman than he had been ever since he got with her. "Either way, I am glad that you guys had fun at the spa and just enjoyed some encounters." What they did or what they had spoken about, actually Ryan wasn't anxious to find out, they were entitled to that privacy between friends and he really wasn't that jealous type even if that very morning he did say that if Franz wasn't his cousin, he might have punched the man for being with them at the spa.
His thoughts though didn't linger for too long on the spa matter since there was a talk about a bikini fantasy, which caused Ryan to look at both his sister and his girlfriend, although the perspective of being benched for that if Franz did not manage to invite his therapist was a downer and he looked at Lily when she was done saying that. "Hey now, c'mon I have every right to see you in a bikini!" Ryan complained looking at his girlfriend with an aggrieved expression. That was just low, Franz would be there because he was just going to be there, so why couldn't he be there? Ryan pouted and looked at his sister meaningfully. "IS Fly boy going to be there?" He shook his head soon enough though when Crystal asked him about Ares. "No, sorry, not yet, also because I haven't tried during the day, due to being busy wandering around. I will try again tomorrow? Sorry, sis."
Ryan knew that wasn't a great excuse at all, considering that he did promise last night and he had failed on that, but when he got in the city that very afternoon, Ryan really only had one thought and one thought only that was to get away from there due to the news that had hit concerning Atlantis and Andros, a subject that he did not want to bring up again, because he clearly did not want to down the mood again considering that it was slowly starting to be lifted.
Thankfully though with Elikapeka along with Delaana passing by, he had a momentarily save and he had to bite his lower lip due to the warning Elika had given to Lily and soon it was followed by Lily automatically commenting the way she would always do. He really really had to bite his lower lip because he knew that he was going to laugh right that instant. Clearing his throat when he thought he had controlled it, Lily's second comment did not help any, which caused him to snort a laughter...

Lana had noticed that Elika had probably been that much distracted by her dancing, but honestly at that moment, Lana hadn't really done it on purpose, she just loved to dance and whenever the beat of a song was "talking" to her, she just had to dance. Lana did bite her lower lip faintly and playfully before smiling warmly. "Do you dance?" Lana asked with a faint twinkle in her eyes, although it was a genuine question. Finishing up with what Lana needed to do, she added the meat into the overall sauce so that it could be warm enough and it would finish cooking with the simmering sauce on the stove.
When they were done with the first part of tonight's dinner, Delaana washed her hand and dried them before following Elika out of the kitchen passing through the living room. Obviously, Lana did not miss the banter between Elika and Lily which caused her to bite her lower lip faintly before inwardly smirking. Considering that now she knew Elika more or less, Lana did not even bring that up and just followed the architect inside of her studio.
Looking around in silence to take this all in, Lana was truly interested in what Elika had been working on or what she was currently working on. When asked what she wanted to see, Lana turned her attention onto Elika and focused onto her for a moment before saying. "Whichever you are comfortable with showing me, my Shakal." Lana said softly and honestly with a supportive smile, she really did not want Elika to feel nervous around her or just be uncomfortable. After all this area was a big part of the architect's life so whatever Elika was really comfortable with showing her, she would gladly look at it. Though from the canvases next to the drafting table, Lana had noticed and saw clearly the paintings of landscapes which she really did find appealing and clearly moving. The details Elika had captured in her own unique way was just beautiful.
"I really do like your paintings..." Lana said sincerely as she pointed at one of the canvases before looking back at Elika with a grin. "May I?" Any form of art was sacred, so of course she would still ask permission to pick things up and treat it respectfully. When she did get the permission, Lana did pick it up gently after making sure that her hands were spotless and just looked at it with a warm smile. "I love the details and the feel of it." It was how she felt when she saw that painting and she put the canvas back down gently before looking at some of Elika's sketchbook, seeing the differences from when Elika started back then to how she was drawing now. There clearly was a potential change of style and it got Lana to look back at her with a dubious expression. "Which style of painting or drawing influences you the most? Or do you just adapt depending on the location?" Lana asked dubiously with genuine interest, and also while she had been looking around, she found her gaze onto something related to music, Lana kept her gaze onto that it seemed to be a musical score for an instrument. "Do you play an instrument or you just write musical score?"

Usually, Crystal would be a little bit perplexed when Lily would say that she had nothing to do with Lana showing up but considering that very morning when Lily did ask for Lana's contact information, she had not seen her childhood friend grab her datapad once on their way to TaSpa!. "Mhmmm, for once indeed." Crystal reiterated teasingly before playfully rolling her eyes. It was either Lily would push her luck and make things happen, or just things would happen without the lawyer even lifting a single finger. "I am just going to say what Elika said earlier, you are lucky to boot." Shaking her head at the thought and knowing exactly what Lily had been referring to when she said that she had pointed out the obvious, Crystal just lifted both of her hands as if in surrender knowing that potentially Lily would have a come back, but in this case, there was no point in debating about that matter due to the fact that yes probably it was thanks to Lily that things seemed to have moved forward between Elika and Lana, and that yes if that statement had not been said earlier, maybe nothing might have happened.
"We definitely did..." Crystal said to Ryan with a warm smile, although when it came to meeting people, actually no Crystal had not met Ayodele personally just yet and maybe she would the next day. Also hopefully, Franz's masseuse wouldn't be too uncomfortable around all of them, or just wouldn't feel that she was intruding at all. Point in fact, Ayodele was invited, sure neither Crystal nor Lily invited her personally but she knew for a fact that she would be accommodating with the person if it was necessary. At least that would entirely depend on the reaction of her being here around them, especially Atlantis who was being accused of covering up for his brother.
Snapping out of her thoughts that were dangerously leading her back to her being down and anxious for her boyfriend, she was grateful for Ryan's rant who was claiming that he had every right to be here tomorrow. Considering that Crystal had been lost in thoughts temporarily, she really had not paid attention to what Lily might have said to him but judging from the question, and the statement, she had a tentative clue. "Um, probably, I suppose that he would be and maybe Andros too, if the two of them need that temporary get away." Crystal said thoughtfully, it was either here or elsewhere, but considering that this place was after all under a certain security from what she understood, not a lot would try and venture to this place.
Crystal momentarily pushed that subject aside, she supposed that they would find out the moment the brothers got here, she just took a sip of her wine as she noticed Elika and Lana passing through the living room. Crystal nodded and smiled briefly before hearing Elika's warning and then one of Lily's infamous comeback which got her to look at her childhood friend with narrowed eyes. "You are so impossible, baby girl..." Crystal said exasperatedly but she soon smiled and shook her head before looking at Ryan who obviously wanted to laugh. "So are you, Ry." Downing her wine before placing her glass on the table again, Crystal grabbed the sounds' controller and just picked a random song.

Resting the fingertips of her right hand against her forehead and sighing internally when she hears Lily shout out her latest Lily-ism, Elikapeka is grateful when, as she knows that there is no way that anyone inisde the house did not hear Lily unless they are completely deaf, Delaana chooses to ignore the comment. Waving a hand from her drafting table to the bookshelves that line all the walls with a smile when Delaana says that she will look at whatever Elika is comfortable with her looking at, Elika says, "Feel free to look at anything, really, and then sips her wine as she walks towards one of the bookshelves after nodding to let Delaana know it is ok for her to handle any of the canvases. Setting her wine glass on a bookshelf, Elika blows some dust off a stack of battered sketch books that look older than most, smiling when she says, Thank you, looking over her shoulder to see which of the canvases Delaana has complimented. I like that one too, Elika says when she sees the painting Delaana is looking at, then takes one of the sketch books from the pile and flips through it as she says, I went through a phase where I really wanted to capture something about the way mist over water makes me feel, or maybe just, I don't know, something? Laughing and crinkling her nose, Elika says, I'm not sure what, exactly, but that was probably the closest I came to capturing whatever it was."
Staying quiet as Delaana looks through one of her older sketchbooks so as not to disturb her, Elika frowns as she comes to a page in the one that she is looking through that has had part of the sketch torn from it. Tracing the outline of the figure that has been removed from the drawing, one of her and Noelani with a third person that has been removed. Flipping through the remainder of the drawing pad, Elika comes across other pages that have also had portions removed, and one that even has an old style photograph of her, Noelani, and a third figure that has been cut from the picture. Elika knows she did not make the cut outs, but is more disturbed by the fact that she cannot remember anyone that she and Noelani were as close to or comfortable around as the cut outs suggest they were to and with whomever had been removed from the picture and sketches. Setting the sketchpad back on the pile, Elika sips her wine and, just as the the subliminal compulsion that was implanted when her memories were tampered with would have her do, blinks twice and entirely forgets what she had just seen as she has forgotten it once or twice before. Walking to the sofa in between two bookshelves on one wall of her studio to sit on the edge of one side, Elika purses her lips in thought when Delaana asks about her influences, pausing before saying, "When I first got into architecture, I was probably most influenced by the Neo-Classsical and Mid Rim Ornate styles, but the more I learned and traveled, the more I started to try and match my stylistic choices to the personalities of my clients, or to the specific areas I was designing a building for. Laughing at her long winded answer, Elika crinkles her nose and says, I could have just said yes, I adapt to the location like you said, huh? Sorry. As for the painting and sketching, she shrugs, I've probably incorporated a lot of things from a lot of different influences, but don't really try to consciously emulate any style in particular."
Nodding when Delaana asks if she plays an instrument or just composes, Elika points with her wine glass towards a corner of the studio where three vioflute cases are arranged, explaining, "Both actually. Laughing as though embarrassed by the fact, Elika explains, I was one of those annoying prodigies. I was playing the vioflute by the time I was two. Waving a hand as though pushing the subject aside, Elika dismisses it by explaining, I wasn't very focused back then though, and I jumped from interest to interest for a while before finally settling on architecture. I still love playing and composing though, just as a hobby though. As uncomfortable as ever with being the focal point of a conversation, Elika tries to change the focus to Delaana for a while, genuinely interested in learning more about her, So, um, how did you decide you wanted to become a personal assistant?"

Hot stuff's rant about being entitled to see me in a bikini amuses me, I giggle at that and turn my head to kiss his cheek before moving my lips to his ear. "Yes you do, but compared how you usually see me at night, I don't see what more that can bring to you." Giggling softly before nibbling his earlobe, I pull away to look at him mischievously before pecking his lips. A little something he can think about if he wishes but then I shrug nonchalantly and look back at baby girl when she says there is a possibility for lover boy and boss man to be here tomorrow ...
"You think that Andros will even accept the invitation?" I ask skeptically, baby girl and I both know boss man in a way, he is great when people look past his durasteel exterior but he always seems to avoid being surrounded by too many people especially when he doesn't know much about some that would be here tomorrow. I really am thinking about Ayodele here exclusively since he does know more or less the Hapan bombshell, although I have never seen the two of them interact on a daily basis. "Either way if there is someone that might convince him, that might be you, or gorgeous?" Knowing me, I may end up irritating him in the end and I clearly do not want to cause more of his irritation with everything that is already happening here on Umgul ...
Taking a sip of my wine, and actually emptying my glass' content, I place the glass onto the coffee table, I should really probably cut my wine consumption for the time being, especially when I hear my datapad signaling me that I have received a message. Leaning over to grab my bag next to the coffee table, I retrieve that said device and notice the weight of the enclosed file attached to that said message from one of the paralegals. Sighing softly, I need to plug this to my other portable data terminal in my room, I'll do that in a moment, It's not that I do not want to get into it, it's just that it is certainly inappropriate for the time being if I end up leaving to start working on this, so I dim my datapad and put that on the coffee table.
"I am sure that sooner or later, Ares will show up, after all you two would know in a way if something really bad happened to him right?" I say with an encouraging smile, as after all if I understand correctly family ties, especially siblings that do get along are hard to break and they are connected somehow through the Force no matter the distance? Is that even right or did I get it wrong? Either way I have never heard baby girl or hot stuff say something bad might have happened to their brother, and if there was, then they probably wouldn't be here right now and would potentially be tracking down Ares high and low in Honoghr, maybe?

For a moment there Ryan lost all of his bearings before smiling knowingly at what Lily had just whispered to him. She definitely did have a point there, that was undeniable, but he still wanted to see her in a bikini, was that too much to ask really? But he probably shouldn't complain, and actually he wasn't complaining at all, he just settled with looking at her mischievously before kissing her back. "Always ideas, cara, sempre idee..." Chuckling at the thought, Ryan just settled with that and with drinking his beer finishing it entirely, he supposed that even if he didn't like it to begin with, the beer that was, he really stopped finding the taste different.
Ryan had no idea if Andros would accept to begin with, but then again that cousin of his always surprised him one way or the other in a good way despite his affinity with looking pissed off constantly, but that was just Andros and he accepted the man like he was especially considering the many things he had gone through in the past. It wasn't something that Ryan would be sharing at all but when people knew, and it was only a few, they would probably understand why Andros really was that way, but then again the younger Vyridian twin never wanted the attention and never wanted or needed the pity of others. "You know," Ryan started to say with a faint smile as he looked at his sister. "Andros probably feels the most comfortable around you, and also the safest so to speak, plus he knows that you guys would never judge him at all, and we all know that he didn't do what the people claimed he did, so..."
Ryan left it at that, he knew that the women would understand, he figured that they both knew enough about Andros anyways and the man was different when he was on a job and when he wasn't. It also wasn't the fact that despite one single person he didn't know about was here that would change how he really felt. Ryan just hoped that the person wouldn't rub him the wrong way so to speak, but considering that the said person managed to captivate Franz's attention, then it was very unlikely.
Shrugging nonchalantly and almost innocently when Crystal told him that he was just as impossible as his girlfriend, he glanced briefly and inconspicuously in Lily's direction as if to tell Crystal to blame her and not him at all but that aside, he knew that Lily did have a point about Ares. Ryan was bound to feel more or less if something did happen to Ares, but ever since he got to Umgul, and despite Honoghr being far away, he really felt nothing unsettling about anyone from his family, so far. "Si, something like that, more like a gut feeling, really."

"You should have your paintings more exposed." Delaana said sincerely with a knowing expression before smiling, she really thought that it was a waste that they were stored here and not more into view for people to appreciate these beautiful paintings. "At least around this place?" She suggested softly, Lana did not see Lily and Crystal mind if some of Elika's paintings decorated the interior of their home. Though it did make her wonder if they had seen all of this? But Delaana wasn't going to push Elika to do so at all since it appeared to her from her brief observation that Elika did not like too much of attention at all. It somewhat reminded her of a certain someone who was the current Vice-Governor of Umgul.
That said, Lana continued to explore most of Elika's works, sketches and paintings, she wished she could see them all but unfortunately for her, it might take more than a single day to do so and it probably would make Elika more uncomfortable maybe. So she just glanced at the interior of this studio as if remembering each pieces of where they were located and also just get her eyes onto what she could see first and foremost. Shaking her head, when Elika apologized, Lana thought that the apology was entirely unnecessary and she did not hesitate to let Elika know. "You don't have to apologize, besides I like listening to you speaking about this." Delaana gestured around the studio emphasizing indeed Elika's work, the art and everything that went with it.
Soon enough though she sat down on the other side of the sofa, listening to Elika describing herself as an annoying prodigy. "Maybe one day, you'll play for me?" Lana asked with a grin, anything that interested Elika, she really was curious to know but at her own time of course. Lana wouldn't even mind the wait, as it started that way in every relationships, if she could put it that way right now. Smiling when asked about her job, Delaana crossed her right leg over the other and looked at Elika while speaking. "It's not really that I have actually decided it so to speak, it's more that it came to me, if that makes sense." Laughing softly and shaking her head at the ridiculous description more or less, Lana grinned faintly. "I was told a while ago that I often knew what people wanted, needed, and since I wasn't really too much into wanting to deal with a lot of people, I figured that I would just do it for one." Lana explained thoughtfully gesturing with her right hand from time to time. "And thus this is me, working for the current Chief Financial Officer of Umgul, who is proving to be one of the easiest person I have ever come to work for." Like Lana had explained before back in the restaurant, Crystal really treated people like her equal. But then again, Lana had only one point in comparison but that had been a while ago, it really depended on what it was needed for her to do.
Still though she kept a relaxed smile on her face and continued to look at Elika. "Thank you, for showing me a part of your life." Looking around once more and smiling again, her gaze landed back onto Elika once more. "Did you want us to get back to the living room?" Lana asked softly as she reached for Elika's hand to give it a gentle squeeze maybe it was for support considering what Lily had blurted out earlier before coming to the studio and also maybe for the biggest part it was because she liked being in Elika's proximity.

Crystal wasn't sure if indeed Andros would accept the invitation or not, but since they were going to see him tonight, hopefully at least, it was worth a try in asking him to join them tomorrow. He didn't even need to swim or anything considering that Atlantis might not even go for a dive since he preferred to never expose his scars to the others' naked eyes. Crystal understood him in a way but at the same time, those were a part of him and no one would really look at him differently, and maybe some would even admire him for what he might have endured back then. It was Atlantis' decision though, she wasn't going to force him into anything, and as long as he was going to be there just to have a relaxing moment that was already enough. "We'll never know if we don't ask him, baby girl." Crystal told her thoughtfully before focusing her attention onto Ryan. Her brother did have a point, although she was surprised when he said that Andros probably felt the safest around them.
"When I go for a run tomorrow, I may scout the area a little to see if this place can be intruded." She guessed that it wasn't so but she preferred not to take any chances at all especially if they were going to clear the mist around the pool. But this place had enough walls and was still surrounded by vegetation, that she did not see anyone succeeding, plus she figured that most of the guys would know considering that they were trained more than her. Either way, she'd see about it with Atlantis later on if he did not have that much on his mind once he got here.
Crystal looked at her childhood friend dubiously when she seemed to have received a message but also seemed to have quickly dismissed that, at least for the time being. "Everything alright, baby girl?" Crystal asked genuinely noticing and hearing the sigh from her friend, considering Lily's function, Crystal wouldn't be surprised if the legal department was being bombarded by multitude of things, especially ever since that lawyer went live with the story and thinking that he had all of the facts right. Whether Lily wanted to talk about that or not, that was up to her, Crystal would still listen, but as every cases, Lily was still sworn to secrecy as it was what her job entailed anyways.
"Ryan would know better than me." Crystal looked at her brother, after all both he and Ares spent most of their lives together, were brought up together, and sure she had a certain connection with her siblings but both Ryan and Ares was stronger to one another she guessed, especially that they were fraternal twins too. "But, I am sure you are right baby girl, it's just that hopefully we'll hear from him soon, otherwise, I may take a few days off and get to Honoghr to see how he is really doing."

Crinkling her nose when Delaana suggests that she display her artwork more openly, if only around the house, Elikapeka says, "Oh, I don't know, it would just feel kind of pretentious I think? Kind of, lifting her hands with an exaggerated smile, Elika says, Hey! Look at what I can do! Shaking her head with a shrug, Elika says, Kind of silly, I know. Pursing her lips in thought, she glances around her studio, shrugging as she says, Maybe I could put some things up in here? Laughing, Elika guesses, I probably won't, but you never know, right?"
"Ok, Elika says softly with a grateful smile when Delaana says she actually likes listening to Elika talk about her art, and that she doesn't feel that Elika needs to apologize for doing so, No more apologies, for that anyway, she says while crossing her heart, Promise. After taking a sip of her wine, Elika nods when asked if she might consider playing something on the vioflute for Delaana sometime, smiling kittenishly as she says, Play your cards right, and I'll be happy to play for you."
After Delaana has described how she found herself in her current career, Elika smiles with a nod as she smiles coyly while looking through her eyelashes and says, "That does make sense, you definitely seem very intuitive when it comes to reading what other people want. Shrugging with a pleased smile when Delaana thanks her for sharing a part of her life, Elika says sincerely, Thanks for being here to share it with. Looking at their hands after Delaana takes a hold of hers, Elika crinkles her nose with a frown when asked if she thinks they should join everyone in the living room, reluctantly saying, We probably should. Looking from their hands to Delaana's eyes after a brief pause on her lips, Elika groans and, having decided against moving closer to give Delaana a kiss since the wine she has had and the fact they are on a couch at the moment makes the idea of doing so seem like a potentially bad idea, gives Delaana's hand a gentle squeeze as she stands up and jokes, Besides, if we're gone much longer Lily will start getting ideas. Walking from her studio, Elika grins over her shoulder as she warns Delaana with a laugh, Not that she won't have something to say anyway, so mentally prepare yourself."
Arriving in the living room as Crystal is saying something about going to Honoghr to see how someone is doing, Elika gives her a curious look and guesses, "Your brother hon'? You still haven't heard from him? While waiting for Crystal's answer, Elika asks Ryan, Did you need another beer? Arching an eyebrow with an amused smile, she asks Lily teasingly, Do I need to get another beautiful, or are you pacing yourself tonight for some reason? Looking at Delaana and then Crystal, she asks, How about you two? Can I get either of you anything?"

Laughing at Ryan's remark about always having ideas, I roll my eyes playfully since I know for a fact that he does always have ideas. "Now we're are talking ..." Teasingly winking at him, I take a hold of his hand and just trace random patterns on the palm of his hand while listening to his sister attentively. It's true that we should ask Andros first and foremost and I am really hoping that he is going to come here tonight, he could even stay the night if he wants to, I do not see anyone right now having anything against that anyways.
"What is there to judge about Andros, when we all know that deep inside he is a great guy. Everyone stops at the forefront, but that is just because they treat him like some lunatic anyways." Sure boss man always looks like he is not having a great time, and he is always standing on the side of everything. It even looks like he is not enjoying himself but then again, if he really wasn't enjoying the moment he spends with a few of us, then I really do not see why he is still lingering around. Due to his brother? Due to his cousins? I highly doubt that really. He is a grown up man, very capable of taking a decision for himself and none of us are going to force him to say or linger around let alone invite him to that gathering if we did not like him for who he really is ... I see no reasons on lingering on that matter for now especially that we'll only know if and when we see him and invite him. Pushing that matter aside for the time being, I look at baby girl dubiously. "Normally this is the part I tell you that you are overthinking it, but I suppose that it won't hurt to check things out."
Those allegations definitely pushed everyone on the edge and even more baby girl I am guessing but I can understand her. The Vyridian brothers are now somewhat public domain anyways, and despite the injunction on Atlantis' name, that only worked for his private life. "Hmm?" Waving my hand dismissively right in front of me, I smile at baby girl genuinely before letting her know. "Yes, I just received an enclosed file that my datapad there cannot handle." Pointing at the device on the coffee table, I leave it at that since I clearly do not want to get into that right now which is why I completely drop the subject, and thankfully gorgeous shows up with the Hapan bombshell after baby girl has just said that she might take a trip to Honoghr to track down Ares.
"Definitely pacing myself, I like it nice and slow," Winking playfully at gorgeous, I am even on the verge to add something else but that is probably not a good idea right now before I gesture to the other couch on the other side of the coffee table and look at the two of them. "Just sit down you two, join the fun filled couch talks, I surprisingly am tamer right now, which is a good thing and you can thank that on the fact that I am pacing myself." Giggling at that and shaking my head soon enough, I just lean back against the couch and look at them both with a warm smile. "How was the art enlightenment?"

His sister did have a point, Andros could often be mercurial but the man's heart was in the right place constantly. None of them might ever understand truly in the very beginning why he acted the way he did, but if there was one thing that had been consistent about Andros Vyridian, he spoke straight to the point and always said what he thought and how he felt. "That's definitely the others' problem. Andros will not change at all for anyone, what you see is what you get." He said with a faint smile, sure it was easier to know who was Atlantis and who was Andros, but then Ryan wondered if people even realized that they were lucky to have the Andros how he was now, than the Andros who had been at odds with Atlantis.
That was a well guarded secret amongst a few of them and it was certainly not something that Ryan would ever share...
"If you need company in the morning, sis, just wake me out forcefully, and I'll scout around with you." Ryan genuinely offered, but really from the layout of the lakehouse with them having no neighbors about it was easier to sense if there was any types of disturbance if they concentrated enough anyways. But his offer was there and he knew that his sister knew that he meant those words, since apparently he often was a log and loved to sleeping in, but if he could do something more to help out, he would do it.
No questions asked, and even no arguments.
Upon finding out that Lily had received a large file on her datapad, Ryan somewhat knew what that meant more or less, it could have been work, only work nothing more and nothing less. His girlfriend was still the Attorney General of Umgul, and she still had to deal with several things, and now that Andros had been branded as the man to arrest, he figured that Lily might want to prepare for some of the things. It was how she worked anyways, but deciding not to comment on that especially when he noticed from the corner of his eyes that Elika and Lana had come back around the same time Crystal mentioned about taking a few days to find Ares, Ryan looked back at his sister thoughtfully. "I'll go if we haven't heard from him by tomorrow," Lifting his hand briefly considering that his sister might protest, Ryan shook his head and glanced at Lily with a faint smile before looking back at Crystal. "Atlantis needs you here, and you will be worried about him if you are away, so I'll go. That way you can be there for one another?" He said reasonably before looking at Elika who offered to get him another beer. Ryan shook his head with an appreciative smile. "No, thank you, I'll get one later." He sincerely said with a grin as he looked at Elika gratefully before taking his girlfriend's hand and lacing their fingers together.

Lakehouse
Delaana understood entirely what Elika meant about her paintings, and why perhaps those weren't so exposed around the lakehouse, but then again Lana was very certain, at least in her own opinion, if either Lily or Crystal saw those they would love it, and they would love it even more considering that it was their friend's work. Although Lana knew that it wasn't an argument she was going to win, which was why she didn't say a thing but still it did not deter her from shaking her to let Elika know that she did not view that as pretentious at all but it stopped there and she said nothing further than that, at least verbally.
"How exactly do you want me to play those said cards?" Lana replied coyly before winking at Elika but her smile went from flirtatious to genuine when Elika had thanked her in return for being here. Lana truly felt privileged in a way since Elika did share a part of her life with her, and Lana was glad to witness that, to see that, and just be here. The moment though had come to an end, she expected that, and Lana knew that she couldn't hold Elika for far too long especially with what the architect had just said about Lily getting ideas. It did make Lana chuckle before she looked at Elika playfully and said. "It's Lily, there is nothing you can do about it, but at least we both know that she probably has done similar things already." Laughing softly, Lana knew that Lily was just the way she was and like she had said earlier back in the restaurant, if she clearly did not like a person, she wouldn't be speaking to that said person let alone tease them constantly. "She loves you and takes an interest in what you do." But considering that they had to go back to the living room, Lana still took a deep breath as if to prepare herself for that eventuality.
When they got to the living room, Lana was hearing them talk about Crystal potentially taking some days off in order to find someone in Honoghr. Right Crystal's brother and also Ryan's fraternal twin. Lana did hear them talk about Ares Solaris a while back when she had lunch with them. But since she didn't actually know the man, she couldn't tell if it was out of character for him to not return any comms, but judging from how Crystal and Ryan were expressing themselves, it definitely sounded to her that it was out of character for him. But since she had no part in that conversation, or at least it would be uncalled for if she commented about that, Lana just looked at Elika when asked if she needed anything else. "No, but thank you for asking." Lana said softly as she gestured to the glass of wine she actually left there on the coffee table, since she didn't bring that in the kitchen earlier.
Sitting down and picking up her glass of wine to take a sip of her drink, Lana looked at Lily when asked how was the art enlightenment. Laughing softly and looking knowingly in Elika's direction but also remembering that she probably wouldn't be comfortable to have that matter about her painting brought up, Lana just settled for a. "Very enlightening, she showed me everything and anything I wanted to see art work wise." Before smiling warmly and looking at Lily with an amused grin.
