The Lakehouse
Noticing that Elika was tugging her sleeve compulsively, Crystal refrained from commenting on that knowing that it would only make the whole situation awkward for Elika. So moving on was the best thing to do right now, although the whole thing concerning her project back on Rori was somewhat a repeat from the last time. Elika was at the wrong place and at the wrong time. To think it had something to do with her job, did the ones that hire her even knew about what could have happened? Crystal, nonetheless, pointed at Lily to second her statement about having a clause on her contracts and actually be aware of everything concerning her job. As Lily went on, Crystal could not help but to smirk in amusement because right then and there, her childhood friend was all about business.
"I am happy that it has been shelved and that you won't be bothered by that anymore..." Crystal said before thinking of how they could just relax after work or just have some fun. "Depending on your mood, either we are going out, or Lily and I will be picking up some wine on our way home..." Crystal walked over to one of the cabinets and opened it to check how much more wine they had left, which was near to none considering that she and Lily would often indulge in some wine. "One bottle left, that doesn't include the one in the fridge... But yep..." Closing the cabinet and looking at Lily with a knowing smile. "We need to buy more wine baby girl." She stated factually before she finished off her coffee and placed the cup into the sink around the same time when the brothers came back.
She looked at the both of them and it looked like that Andros seemed far more appeased now, she was remaining on his facial expression as when it came to the Force and emotions, thanks but no thanks right now... At least his expression wasn't darker like it was earlier when he started to get angry. He just looked like... Andros, she guessed?
"What Lily said..." She gestured to her friend when it came to asking for a ride, usually they wouldn't need to ask considering that Atlantis would actually come here and take them there to their work place but considering this little situation, she had no idea if the both of them would stay or not at all. Looking over at Elika with a warm smile and knowing that for a brief moment she had mentioned a doctor, come to think of it, it seemed that everything for her friends was on a standstill. Elika and Lily on the same boat when it came to the doctors. Catching Lily's gaze momentarily and then glancing at her chrono, she sighed softly knowing that this week was going to be chaos at the office especially with that pending file from Andros and his request for several projections concerning the raceways. No use in talking about business now at home and besides, she despised mixing things anyways.
"You," She pointed at Elika with a grin. "Rest. And welcome home. As for you and I..." She told Lily. "We need to get to work and you and I also have to have a talk about your department." Boring stuff and whatever but it's about a budget too, every department needed a budget and she was the go to person on this planet when it concerned the Government anyways.

Millaflowers and the mists, those two things really had a soothing effect on him. There was something or someone else that did that to him but currently it appeared that the person in question wasn't planet side the last time he had checked. Lara Drake had asked him a few months back for a TLOA, which he granted no questions asked. Sure she'd check in from time to time but apparently she and Keith had some unfinished business to take care of. He didn't ask Mace at all as for the time being he preferred to deal with things one step at a time...
And right now that was what Atlantis was advising him. Sure he had a project for Elika if she was ready to take it but right now wasn't even the time to ask her since she had just come back and perhaps was still in a state of shock or confusion like he was in a state of anger, but those millaflowers really did the trick quickly, maybe he should ask Crystal if he could snatch some for his office. He'd put it somewhere discreet, sure. Otherwise that was going to cramp up his style. The Force knew he often had visitors and he really had no idea why those people would come and see him just like that.
"Yeah, yeah... But if something else happens to her, I am going to kill that person." He said with a sneer before taking a deep soothing breath and looked around for a moment. This place really was a good home, which reminded him, he really should start hunting for a permanent place to call his instead of bunking at the Misty Lodge continuously. Anyways, Andros followed Atlantis back inside after he had heard his brother's question. "I'll take care of it." Andros said before walking back inside of the kitchen with a very normal expression, or just his usual scowling expression. He always had a glare and that wasn't going to change. He looked at Elika and then Lily who asked a question but also Crystal and he inclined his head.
He glanced at his brother momentarily and perhaps he had something more to say to Elika and since he had nothing further to add, he just looked at Lily and Crystal with a genuine expression. "I'll take you both." Andros stated pretty much clearing that off the way but before he walked towards the exit, he actually walked over towards Elika first and he placed his hand on her arm giving it a getle squeeze while he actually looked into her eyes. He was apologizing but at the same time he was glad that she was unharmed.
Andros wasn't a man of many words sometimes but he was hoping that she would understand what he wanted to emphasize through his gaze. "It's good to see you Elikapeka, all things considering..." Andros said with a very low tone this time and he even smiled genuinely briefly before dropping his hand from her arm and adopting his normal/usual stare once more. "See you around and well when you have some free time, I'd actually like to speak with you or do I have to go through Evadne?"

Elikapeka tilts her head to the side inquisitively, a perplexed expression on her face, when Lily advises her to add a clause to her contract in future, not understanding at first what Lily is getting at until, when she gets to the part about potential glitches one should, ideally, have been made aware of. Laughing, Elika nods, agreeing, "I suppose that is a good idea, but, Lil', I don't think, in this instance, that they had any idea that there were going to be any glitches. They were just as surprised as anyone that there would be enough opposition to the project that someone would hire an . . . shuddering slightly, attempting to conceal the reflex by lifting her mug, held in both hands to ensure they do not tremble noticeably, and taking a sip, Elika summons a smile meant to look unperturbed as she continues, Anyway, I'm not worried. This is me not worrying and just, her smile becomes something closer to genuine as Lily's usual self assurance and sense of humor push back Elika's anxiety just a little bit, looking forward to the welcome home event."
Nodding with an amused smile when Crystal points at her and bids her to rest, Elika, her mood proving to be a mutable one due to her exhaustion and the positive effect being with her friends and the sense of security they give her, says, "Message received hon', I'll just finish my caf and then rest as ordered. You guys have a good day at work, she adds just as Andros and Atlantis return to the kitchen. Returning the smile that Andros gives her; the fact that he, however briefly, allows the side of himself that she is sure that not many get to see to surface for her benefit touching her, Elika nods when he says he will see her soon and then, after he mentions he has something he would like to speak to her, or Evadne, about, says, guessing from the inclusion of her boss that the subject Andros is referring to is work related, Well, Evadne would need to approve any kind of project, if that is what you are wanting to talk about. But, she takes a sip of her caf, if you'd rather I present the proposal to him, you can always tell me what it involves and I can submit it to him? Smiling with an amused arched left eyebrow, Elika says, I know you'd like to avoid dealing with him, or most anyone, directly, so why don't we say you tell me and then I'll tell him and then tell you what he tells me after I've told him what you told me to tell him? Sound good?"

Point well made I suppose, but then again, I can start getting technical and then emphasize on the point that there are some employers that are just pains and despite the crap that might have happened, others would want for you to pursue the project ... I just believe in covering all my basics ... That doesn't hurt, right? At least it's a good thing that whoever hired Elika did not ask for the project to continue. I know some wouldn't even consider some people's safety. Peculiar though ... "Happy trigger psychopath ...?" I finish Elika's sentence although I am sure that she was going for assassin perhaps but whatever, that has been shelved and now she is safe, right now, gotta plan and think about the welcome home event. Good Elika is focusing on that.
Glancing over at Kayne when she tells me that we need to buy more wine, I actually make a face at that knowing that it is majorly because of me if the amount of wine has depleted in this household. Good thing that I have decided to order some at that wine cellar ... "Already did, well kind of ... I explain to CKayne before bobbling my head from side to side. Well you know how picky I am when it comes to wine and all, since we really haven't found the ones we love here, and we have been more or less drinking crap, well ordered our fave ones. That is the truth and I even look at Elika with a knowing smile. Included you, gorgeous, considering I seem to remember that you also love Blossom wine?" Winking at her and then glancing at Boss man who states that he is the one going to drive me and Kayne to work, I smile gratefully and don't really say anything further.
Considering that Andros is wrapping up with Elika from the sound of it about a project he has in mind, I just grab my things and look at Kayne dubiously, she is the one that just told me that she and I have to have a talk concerning my department? What about it? "What about my department? I ask her dubiously and then finally connect the dots. Right budget talk, me and numbers, yuck ... If I told you that I don't need anything right now, but actually a clone of myself considering that I have to review all of those texts otherwise, nope nothing baby girl. If something does come to mind, I'll ring you, cool?"

Right...
Of course, Evadne would have to approve any kind of project especially when one of his architects was hired for a job. He had met her boss briefly, once for certain and if he did on other occasions then it wasn't important, that was back on Naboo when he started to throw scones at Franz. It made perfect sense, he was her boss and that was how it worked. If only a certain Senator would actually declare something already, the they could all bypass those clearances pretty quickly but then again, such was the way of life, a chain of commands had to be followed and this was no exception.
Andros made a face when Elika pointed out how he usually dealt with people or at least tried to avoid dealing with them. She got him there but that statement actually made him smirk knowingly. "You got me, my dearest Architect, but as to most rules there are exceptions, I guess..." Andros said with a knowing expression and yes he'd rather deal with Elika than to deal with Evadne but he was still the Vice Governor sans PA, so he was doing all the groundwork whenever he could.
"Actually, the file is ready, the proposal is right there at my table and I exactly know what I want and am looking for thanks to that survey, but it's about the raceways. As you know, I pretty much blew that place to pieces a while ago..." That was a fact, he had pretty much erased that and turned it into rubble first and then finished off the job with Raan and some workers. "So yeah, just the raceways, but I don't want you to think about that now nor do I want you to go and tell Evadne, how about I set up a meeting with him requesting you to be there, because I actually preferred it that you undertake this project, considering that I have seen your newly completed edifice for my brother."
It was true, he was right there in front of the Academy this very morning, outside of course, and he saw the outside architecture. It was a delightful sight to say the least. But right now since it wasn't the time or the place to talk about this and considering that he had to drop off the CFO and the AG to work but he also had to return to work, then he was calling a rain check on this for now. "Let's say, one week from now, I'll reach out?" He suggested as he noticed that Lily and Crystal after they had bid their farewells were already making their way outside.
"See you soon Elikapeka, and have a relaxing day, the garden does wonders." Andros stated with a knowing expression in his brother's direction. "I know it did for me." Making sure that nothing was left behind, but just Atlantis, he guessed, Andros made his way outside towards the speeder and to drive back to the government building back into the city...

Grateful that his brother was going to drop Crystal and Lily off to work, since after all they all worked in the same building, Atlantis smiled at his brother and just looked at Lily when she asked if she could be dropped off, he just pointed at his brother quickly and inclined his head. His gaze found Crystal's briefly and he just walked over towards her when she was gathering her things and he just pecked her lips and then her temple before inclining his head. She and Atlantis didn't need to speak much to one another to communicate, sometimes everything went through their gaze. She'd know that whenever she was free or whatever, she could contact him and he'd let her know if he could drop by or not by her office. It wasn't a routine at all but just that unspoken entendre they both had.
Muting himself on the sideline and just waiting for everyone to exchange words or whatever to whoever was concerned with a matter, Atlantis in the meantime decided to take some caf, even though he had declined the offer earlier, now he really could use some. So without really asking for permission, not that he needed it apparently, he just went to take one of the mugs and filled that up while his brother spoke with Elika to fill her in about that project he had been working on. He smiled knowingly when the Academy was briefly mentioned and it was actually one of the reasons why he had decided to stay behind.
Taking a sip of his coffee after placing the spoon in the sink but he also did that for Crystal's, Lily's and Andros' cups, he just sat on one of the stool and waited until his brother was gone. Now that he was face to face with Elika, he just looked at her with a genuine and warm smile. "He is right about the garden..." Atlantis commented with an amused expression, truth be told, he didn't even know if Elika had caught it just yet, or maybe she was here when those seeds hadn't blossomed yet. "Crystal went on a gardening spree, apparently it helped her keep her focus on one thing instead of destroying things back in the workout room." He explained with an amused expression, whatever stuff that had been broken, it had been replaced of course.
He knew that it was just small talk but quite honestly, it was best to just have a normal conversation, right? And not add any other stress to Elika especially with what she had just been through. "As you might be aware, there is a reason why I stayed back for a little while." Atlantis said with a serious expression this time, but still his features had been relaxed. "I promise nothing bad, and then I'll let you rest." He said sincerely, he was very sure she needed to rest. "Actually, the Academy, thanks to your precious help and perfect schematics, has been done recently and I would like to request a favor from you..." Atlantis at this point was actually biting his lower lip and he knew that he might be asking too much considering that she didn't like to have the attention or the spotlight. But that could be remedied.
"Will you inaugurate it with us, please? Nothing big and nothing fancy, I'd actually just want you to be the first person to walk through those doors officially, if that is alright with you?" To him, it would actually meant a whole deal, he was wired differently and weirdly, he guessed but to him, it was always the one that had created something that should walk into it first and foremost and discover it right before him or any of the others from the Mist Order, and it was that agreement that he, Franz and Mace had been unanimous about. Now that he had his say, he actually took a sip of his caf but then remembered to add something else. "Oh and it's whenever you want and feel like it, of course."

Winking at her friend, truly glad that she was back and unharmed too despite what happened on her last job, Crystal sent a flying kiss to Elika before looking over at Andros who had decided to drop her and Lily at the office, that made sense, the three of them worked in the same building anyways. Crystal noticed though that Atlantis was going to hang back and she did not really need to ask him the reasons why. It was fine by her, she only bid him goodbye with a kiss and caught his gaze momentarily understanding his unspoken message, she blinked once and just turned to walk out with Lily by her side.
"Fair enough, and cool with me." Crystal assured her childhood friend. Up till now, she and Lily hadn't worked together, at least not officially, but she loved the fact that whenever it was business talk with Lily, it was just straight to the point and just never a waste of time, it was wrapped up quickly, like now. Crystal was sure that Lily would comm if she needed anything, anything at all.
She had been quite aware that Lily had been doing what she had done in the past when she first assumed her position for the government, it was a mess, and often it was back to back long sleepless nights because Lily was just the type to wanting to complete something and quickly when she could.
Getting to the speeder that was maneuvered by Andros, she looked at him for a moment and furrowed her eyebrows knowing that he would want the budget she had come up with for the raceways, added to that, she had been very surprised that he inflated that sum with his own credits. "Andros," She called out his name, she was actually an inch away to call him Sir or even Vice Governor but she remembered that he had explicitly told her and Lily to just stop at his name, it was how his closest or closest friends should call him. "The figures you have asked me about, it's ready and completed, plus the projected profitability that such place can generate in accordance to your project is on it like requested."
Crystal was glancing for a moment at her datapad to check if she had any more important pending issues to deal with so she would know where to start the moment she got into her office. "Just let me know when you want it and I'll bring it to you...?" She suggested as the city was coming to view.

Elikapeka cannot help but smile briefly when Lily, with her characteristic and often disarming flippance, characterizes the would-be assassin as a "happy trigger psychopath"; the levity, as Elika feels sure was her friend's intention, sapping at least some small amount of the memory's lingering terror by diluting it with humor. Waving to Crystal and Lily as they ready themselves to leave, Elika returns her attention to Andros as he explains that the thing he wanted to speak to her about concerns a project involving the recently demolished raceways, and then asks her not to think about it further. Work always having proven a refuge or retreat from those things Elika would rather not deal with or dwell upon, she would rather not wait the week Andros offers to hear about the project, Elika also knows him well enough to understand that the week is his way of looking out for her and, therefore, simply nods with a smile as she says, "A week it is then, taking a sip of her caf and endeavoring to look convincing as she nods when instructed to have a relaxing day while saying, Relaxing is the plan, looking over her shoulder towards the gardens Andros mentions and adds, Wonders, huh? I'll have to give them a try."
Taking a seat on one of the stools around the kitchen island as Andros, Lily and Crystal depart, Elika wraps her caf mug in both hands to keep herself from her usual nervous fidgeting since Atlantis appears intent on remaining behind, a suspicion that is confirmed when he remains seated and opens whatever conversation he has stayed to have by agreeing with his twin's assessment of the gardens. Elika smiles as Atlantis explains that the gardens were planted by Crystal as a means of preventing further damage to the workout room. Before Elika, both hoping to divert attention from herself and genuinely interested to learn how Crystal's training in her recently discovered Force sensitivity has been progressing, can ask about Crystal's progress, Atlantis explains that he has remained behind to ask a favor of her. Arching an eyebrow inquisitively to indicate she is listening before taking a sip of her caf, Elika listens as Atlantis goes on to explain that the favor in question is her attending an inauguration of the Mist Order's recently completed academy. Lips pursed with an expression suggesting she is searching for an excuse to decline, Elika abandons the search for said excuse when Atlantis explains that what he has in mind is not as large an affair as she envisioned, and, as she imagines that her habitual social anxiety will not be enkindled by what Atlantis has in mind, smiles as she says, "Um, I'd be honored. To, to go, I mean. To the inauguration. Laughing at her stammered reply, Elika nods to make her reply more certain, adding, Just let me know when. I'll be there, then frowns, remembering he had said it would be whenever she felt up to it, saying, Any time is good, really."
As Atlantis and Elika speak in the kitchen, Lt. Lucine "Lucy" Lyn, currently assigned as Elikapeka's bodyguard, enters the lakehouse after having released a trio of R-4 recon droids to patrol the grounds of the home on routes that will afford her a continual view of all approaches to the house. The precaution, Lucy thinks as she checks the feeds from the droids on her datapad as she closes the door quietly behind her, is almost certainly unnecessary, but, as the recent events on Rori reinforced, it is always better to be safe than sorry. Satisfied that the droids will add the additional security that she sought when employing them, Lucy, hearing the voices of Elika and Atlantis from the kitchen, leans against the wall beside the entrance to the kitchen, rubbing the bruised side of her face gingerly while programming her datapad to alert her in the event any of the recon droids observe anything out of the ordinary.

The Lakehouse
Atlantis waited patiently while holding onto his mug, he could tell from the very start that Elika was very reluctant to come inaugurate the place with him and the Jedi overall. He was going to restrict the hearsays to the Order and Elika's friends of course, other than that, the press could continue guessing whenever it would be open. Lately he had been having some fun with that, a little hide and seek never bothered him. Doppelganger here or that, one ways to entertain himself and throw the press off he guessed...
He smiled warmly when she told him that any time was good and he smirked knowing that she would actually want to be doing something now or in the near future, a little escape but other than that in her free times, he could think of a few things to keep her occupied and then the rest, he would leave that to her housemates, after all, the three of them got along just great, right?
"Between now and Andros' presentation of his proposal?" Atlantis said mainly teasingly before shaking his head and chuckling briefly. "You know if you told him that you'd rather do that now, than nothing, he will understand, if you actually want to have something to do...?" He suggested softly, not that he wanted to push her at all, but he was actually just giving her some alternative, besides if he also told Andros something along the lines that he could actually keep an eye on her too, it was a win-win situation for both case scenario, right?
After, it was her choice and definitely her own. He wasn't going to influence anything at all, he wasn't the type anyways and besides, just having her right in front of her right now, and seeing her safe was good enough for him. He was about to add something else but he furrowed his eyebrows slightly and smirked faintly when he actually felt that familiarity nearby. The Lieutenant herself.
Rising from his seat, he walked over to one of the cabinets and took a cup before pouring some coffee in it and placing it on the kitchen island, next to it, he place some cream and some sugar before looking in her direction, or at least, her shadowy figure. "Lucy, come have some coffee..." He said loud enough but not too loud to not startle her at all. Actually he wanted to see with his own eyes her current state, and at the same time, he just actually wanted to see how she was doing.
He looked back at Elika with a faint smile and arched his eyebrows dubiously. "Tell me, my dearest architect, ever got your boxing lessons from Crystal or did she refuse for the time being to teach you due to her newfound abilities?" He asked genuinely, he knew for a fact that Crystal was supposed to teach her boxing but he actually never asked how that went from any of them. If Elika wanted him to take the relay whenever she was less exhausted, he would do it without trouble.

Nodding when Atlantis proposes that the proposed inauguration ceremony takes place between the present moment and the future moment when Andros proposes whatever raceways-related proposal he intends to propose, Elikapeka nods once more when Atlantis asks if she would actually prefer that Andros not wait quite so long to propose the proposed proposal, hoping in vain that the nod is quite as eager as it feels. Laughing softly upon realizing how unnecessary, not to mention possibly futile, it is to conceal the sentiment from Atlantis, who more likely than not knows her well enough to know even things she herself doesn't consciously know, Elika smiles a mildly self-deprecating smile as she says, "I, um, I'd really, actually, sort of rather have something to keep my, um, mind off . . . things? You know? Waving a hand, Elika, not wanting to be a nuisance, immediately adds, But, um, I know he, Andros that is, might, you know, worry, so, it's, um, alright . . . After taking a sip of her caf to prevent herself from babbling more than she already has, Elika shakes her head and says as confidently as she can manage at the moment, I'm, um, sure I'll find ways to, you know, occupy myself."
Looking, at first startled and then merely surprised when Atlantis invites her lieutenant, whom Elika had no idea had entered the house until the invitation made her aware of the fact, to come and have some coffee, Elika turns towards the entrance to the kitchen as her lieutenant makes her entrance. Elika winces guiltily when she sees her lieutenant; Lucy's bruised face and bandaged hands a reminder of what befell them on Rori. Waving sheepishly to her lieutenant and receiving only a curt nod and 'Ma'am' in return, Elika takes a sip of her caf as Lucy, who, despite her customarily rigid and composed military bearing and demeanor, looks to Elika as though she went three rounds with an angry Wampa, thanks Atlantis for the caf and, after adding cream to her mug, takes it and leans beside the sink with an expression that seems to make it clear she intends to stay in character as Elika's bodyguard. After tugging at her right sleeve compulsively while trying to think of something to say to her lieutenant while debating whether to say anything at all, Elika, grateful for the fact Atlantis takes up the conversational reigns, shakes her head with a mildly amused smile when Atlantis asks whether the boxing lessons she and Crystal had intended to begin when they each found the time to begin them, Elika explains, "Um, no, never got the lessons. Not, you know, because of any refusing on Crystal's part, just, um, because we never seem to find the time? Grateful for the opportunity Atlantis' question has provided for a change of subject from Elika herself, Elika, her tone more concerned than anything due to the fact she knows how conflicted Crystal had seemed about learning of her previously unknown abilities, asks Atlantis, Speaking of Crystal's training, how, um, how has her training been going? How, pausing and then, after biting her lower lip as she tries to phrase her question more precisely, Elika continues, How is she doing? With, you know, everything?"

The Lakehouse
It was true, even though Andros never outwardly showed it, he was the type to worry about Elika particularly. He did it the Andros way, and of course, Elika would notice because she had a keen eye for observation. Wasn't he after all the one to show up here to check up on her personally? Wasn't he the first to notify him that Elika had come back. For all of the above, it was a yes.
He knew that Elika would find ways, perhaps she would paint or just play the vioflute, who knew? As for the other part, if she actually wanted to do something else that involved hand to hand combat, he'd be the guinea pig, or just the live target, he still refused hitting women by default anyways. Some of his bruises on his body said as much. Those actually happened when he and Crystal were training. Receiving the punching bag on his face while being thrown back against the wall, that was just horrific, although not really.
Atlantis loved to joke and loved to make things seem far worse than they usually were when it concerned him anyways. Despite the little smirk that came to his features, he just looked from Elika and nodded faintly before his gaze landed on Lucy. Before he could say a few things to her, actually, he didn't know how to say it then and there, he just looked at her with a grateful expression. Compared to her thanks for the coffee, there were no comparisons to what she had done. She really looked bad and he pursed his lips before he rummaged through his jacket's pocket and found what he was looking for.
Still he kept that in his pocket and focused on Elika at present time when she inquired about Crystal's wellbeing in general. He returned to his seat and looked at Elika for the longest time wondering how he should approach the subject. He knew there were some part that were good but at the same time he knew that Crystal really despised using her newfound abilities. "Crystal is great." He reassured her first and foremost with a sincere tone and genuine smile before pursing his lips slightly. "She is more in control and manages to prevent herself from using any telekinesis, and actually she refuses, so to speak to use the Force." Atlantis explained, perhaps Lucy didn't know, or maybe she had heard about the CFO being sensitive or just rumors but what did he care? The Lieutenant was bound to a lot of secrecy and he knew that she would keep that for herself anyways.
"Crystal is just... Crystal. Hasn't changed one bit and her but also Lily have mostly been buried in their work." He explained with a faint chuckle before shaking his head, he knew that the three housemates were the same in that respect, they preferred to be doing things than nothing at all. "So yes, things are good insofar." He told her grinning before glancing at Lucy with a faint smirk. "Say, Lucy, I know you are currently on duty so I might get a glare from you or something along those lines but need a little healing or are you actually wanting to stay that way for a little while until you see Kes or something?" It was Atlantis, of course he'd ask that a little slyly and mischievously. He knew there was something going on between Forcias and Lucy but they were so discreet about it.
He just looked back at Elika with a knowing smirk before leaning his head against his knuckles. He was, indeed, always looking for trouble. Although before he could say anything further, he heard someone ringing the bell of the lakehouse and he furrowed his eyebrows looking at Elika, he just held his finger up before going over to the entrance to see who it was. It was a delivery guy and he was handed a box of wines apparently saying that Ms. Jankovic ordered those and he was instructed to have that box delivered here. He signed a sheet and gave the delivery guy a credit chip as a thanks before kicking the door closed gently and walking back into the kitchen, placing the box on the kitchen island. "Apparently from Lily, for you to get wasted on?" He told Elika with amused expression.

Sipping her caf as Atlantis answers her question about how Crystal has been doing, Elikapeka, when he concludes his answer, smiles and says, "That's good. The, um, going good part, she amends her statement, fearing it sounded as though she were suggesting Lily and Crystal's being buried in work is a good thing, Not, the, the, you know, buried part," Elika tacks on, grateful when Atlantis turns his attention momentarily to her lieutenant as it prevents her from continuing to babble. Elikapeka is not, having been present shortly after Crystal learned of her Force sensitivity and therefore observing her friend's less than enthusiastic response to what she had learned, surprised that Crytsal, once having learned a greater degree of control over what had initially proven to be a somewhat unpredictable talent, essentially elects not use the Force; it was not something her friend had asked for, nor, having discovered it, something she seemed at all interested in exploring beyond learning to contain it. Crystal had, it seemed to Elika, feared most that her newly discovered talent would change her or her life, and so Elika is glad that it seems her friend's fears have proven, thusfar, unfounded. Elika wonders, in an absent way as her mind is more narrowly focused on other things, how Atlantis himself feels about Crystal's views on her unwanted talent; the Force, Elika imagines, being something Atlantis, as a Jedi, must view quite differently than her friend. Does Atlantis wish that Crystal were more open to her talent? Feel as though her rejection of it is, in a way, a rejection of a part of him? Elika also knows Atlantis accepts Crystal as she is, is perhaps even glad that she has no desire to explore her talent as it is one that Elika imagines does not come without price or responsibility. Those thoughts, scarcely observed, are beneath the surface, however, and Elika is, above all, simply glad to hear that her friend seems to have accomplished her goals of learning to control her talent without it having impacted her life any more than desired.
While Elika muses, Lucy, answering Atlantis' question to her, does not move from her statue-like posture against the wall as she says, "I appreciate the offer, sir, but it's not necessary." Under other circumstances Lucy might have displayed some sign of personality given Atlantis' overall tone and playful jibe about Kes, but she is disinclined to do so while on duty unless expressly invited to be at ease, and sometimes not even then. Protecting Hekekia is what she has been ordered to do, and the best way to do that, in Lucy's opinion, is to never forget why she is stuck with the geek constantly.
Giving Atlantis a smile that manages to convey, 'Well, you offered,' Elika, deciding it's best not to look too amused about the reference to Kes given her lieutenant's clear desire to keep her relationship with Elika herself on a simply professional level, then looks startled when the doorbell sounds. Her expression becomes amused when Atlantis and Lucy both begin to move towards the front door, the latter giving way to the former with a tiny, brief frown evident on her lips as she resumes her position against the wall. The silence that follows Atlantis' departure is an uncomfortable one for Elika, who feels as though she should say something to break it, and a comfortable one for Lucy, who prefers the silence. Elika arches an eyebrow inquisitively when Atlantis returns and places a box of wine on the kitchen island, laughing when he explains who sent the box and what he believes the sender's wishes for the box are. Crinkling her nose, Elika says, "That most definitely sounds like our Lily, yes, but it's, um, probably juuust a little too early to embark on that undertaking, don't you think? And, well, it's probably also something I'd not want to undertake alone, no? There's some saying about drinking alone, right? Patting the top of the box, Elika says, I think I'll just wait until my roomies return."

Sir? She is calling him sir now? By the Force, can't she let loose for a bit? He really had to do something about that. Time and time again he had told Lucy to call him Atlantis, not "sir", not "grandmaster" or whatever but Atlantis. What was so difficult about that? Right, she was just bound by her duty in a way and she was tasked to protect Elika here present. What to do about that though, just to make Lucy relax, maybe he'll do something mischievous, perhaps...
He still had Forcias' comm frequency, yes that is right he did and maybe he should call the ace pilot and just let slip that Lucy was harmed and that maybe she needed a "pick me up"? He would think about that further later on..
Either way, now that he was back in the kitchen with that box of wines, he looked at Elika just right after he had relayed the message from Lily and he looked at her with a knowing smirk. "She is closer to you and Crystal, all she seems to be saying to me for now, is Hey, lover boy, stop wearing Crystal out already!" He repeated her statement before shaking his head and chuckling very amused to be honest. Of course, they did speak more on several occasions when he was here and when sometimes Ryan would show up, of course, he would drag him here, for sure.
"But yes, better wait for your roomates, weren't they saying earlier that they were going to have lunch here?" He asked rhetorically before smiling and knowing that Elika is back now, that would certainly make Lily and Crystal pull away from their work, so to speak. So really another good thing that Elika was back, he wouldn't be surprised if they were already going to plan on a girls' day out or something. "Which reminds me Elika, if you ever feel like wanting to get to the punching zone or get a solid grip on your headhunter, that is still in the garage, untouched, let me know, I will gladly be the proxy/ substitute, what have you, for those things." Atlantis said with a grin.
Perhaps he should leave her alone now, and he knew he was overstaying but at the same time, he also knew that she wanted or needed to be occupied or something, but he also knew that she had to rest. He didn't know but he didn't want to stay longer than necessary. "Do you perhaps want me to go, so you can rest? I just realized that me staying here longer than necessary doesn't allow you to relax so to speak?" Atlantis said with a sheepish expression, as if he had been caught doing something mischievous.
While he waited for her answer, he focused his attention on Lucy, and just looked at her thoughtfully, he noticed her bruises again and her bandaged hands. He knew he had to say something, he had already offered to heal her but she had declined, that was her prerogative, but he wanted to say something else, so he just took that leap of faith. "Hey Lieutenant..." He called out softly and her rank too because now he was serious indeed. "From all of us, you have our many thanks, and I know that you will tell me that you were just doing your job, bla bla bla..." He waved his hand dismissively before carrying on. "Really thanks for being there all the time. And don't be surprised if my brother approaches you too about this, he might not show it at all, or very rarely..." He looked from Lucy to Elika with a knowing smile. "But you have done far more by keeping her safe back there."

Elikapeka tilts her head to the side with a befuddled expression when Atlantis remarks that Lily has been telling him to 'stop wearing Crystal out', momentarily confused as to what that might mean before believing she has figured it out and nodding as she laughs and says, "Oh, um, right, all the training. After looking over towards her lieutenant, who, having arrived at a less innocent interpretation of Lily's comment, rubs her nose with a blank expression after snorting what sounded to Elika suspiciously like an amused laugh, Elika returns her attention to Atlantis and agrees with his agreement with her, "Um, better, yes, nodding as she adds, I think they, um, did mention they might be coming back for lunch, so, she attempts a smile while joking, so, well, if they decide to take the rest of the day off, we can get started on, she pats the top of the box, these before too long. Elika smiles more convincingly when Atlantis offers once more to act as a boxing partner and adds piloting instructor to the table as well, saying, Well, as for the boxing, I'll, um, be sure to take you up on that once Crystal has the chance to teach me a few things. Crinkling her nose, Elika explains, I wouldn't be much of a sparring partner just yet, you know. Looking over at her lieutenant, who, unbeknownst to Elika, just manages to change the laugh the idea of the geek boxing to a sniff, Elika, wondering if her lieutenant is coming down with a cold, turns back towards Atlantis and says, The, um, headhunter lessons though, those I wouldn't mind, if, you know, she looks down as she tugs absently at first her right sleeve and then her left as her pathological fear of asking anyone for anything asserts itself, we, um, both have the, the time, sometime."
Shaking her head with an almost worried expression when Atlantis suggests he leave to allow her a chance to rest, Elika, mortified that she has somehow given him the impression she wants him to leave, says, "No, no, you, um, don't have to go. Worrying now that Atlantis wants to leave and might stay because of her comment, Elika hurriedly adds, Unless, you know, you have things to do I mean. You don't have to stay on my account is what I mean, Elika hastily adds, then adding, Because I'm fine, um, either way, is what I mean, you know?"
Lucy, mercifully for Elika, speaking up to keep the geek from continuing to babble when Atlantis addresses her, lifts her hand when he starts speaking, is shaking her head and, even while he is still speaking, saying, "That's not necessary, sir, Just doing my . . . trailing off when Atlantis beats her to the end of the sentence, Lucy decides to simply be all gracious and crap, and nods to accept the gratitude he expresses. Having spent enough time with Hekekia to recognize when the geek is exhausted, Lucy decides to spare everyone the pain of more arguing about whether Atlantis should stay or go and says to Hekekia, You look like sh . . . you could use a bit of rest, ma'am. Why don't you go and relax?"
Elika, rubbing her temple with an apologetic smile, nods towards her lieutenant as she says to Atlantis, "Apparently, um, I look like I need to rest, and then sighs as she confirms, I, um, didn't . . . I haven't really slept since . . . summoning a smile, Elika continues more steadily, I think I'll take my lieutenant's advice, smiling as she attempts a joke, I'll, um, probably need to be well rested to keep up with Crystal and Lily, right? Gesturing towards Atlantis, Elika, sure neither Lily nor Crystal would object, suggests, But maybe, um, you could join us later?"

Yeah! Of course with all the training! Although Atlantis was sure that she would get it sooner or later, it seemed to him that the Lieutenant did as he heard her snorted laugh. Lily being Lily, of course she would declare that crap vocally. "Yes, the training..." Atlantis reiterated with a composed expression before furrowing his eyebrows as he pursed his lips thoughtfully. "Elika, please just do me a favor, whenever you and Lily are alone without Crystal around, ask her about that certain Solaris, please?" He asked innocently with the widest grin ever, of course he couldn't ask Lily that, and of course he couldn't comment on that since after all, Ryan was and still is Crystal's little brother. He was just going to get smacked from either Lily or just Crystal if he did ask about the haps with Ryan, problem fixed and solved for him, for now.
That was his second favor and he nodded a few times when Elika clearly said that perhaps Lily just like Crystal would be taking the rest of their day off, the Force knew they needed that too, they were working a lot, that much he knew. It wasn't surprising considering their position within the government. He waved his hand slightly with a smile. "The sparring partner thing, don't worry about it, but yeah just how to hold your posture and how to punch like you mean it, although I am sure Crystal will do a fabulous job teaching you all of that, the bruises on my body are witnesses to that fact." He said while making a face and shuddering on the spot. Crystal was a trained martial artist and she was good at that, he was taught hand to hand combat before during his soldier years and he had not relied much on the Force but she was good, she would have the upper hand, although yes, he was greatly diminishing his capabilities because let's face it, he could not and would not hit a woman, furthermore his very own girlfriend!
The last thing he wanted was to get in trouble with the Solaris Patriarch anyways.
Yup, another shuddering thought...
He lifted his hands in front of him and Elika to tell her that it was alright, she had done nothing at all, he was really offering and she never actually gave him that impression so to speak that he had overstayed his welcome, he was just the one being a worrywart as always and like Lucy just said, Elika did look like sh... but he wouldn't say that vocally. He just looked at Lucy with a knowing smile when not only she accepted his thanks but also said what he actually had in mind concerning Elika. Speaking of relaxing, Atlantis pointed outside at the recess area and smiled. "Millaflowers outside, the seeds that Crystal's dad have given her, well she planted those around the pool and by the recess area." He explained before adding on with a smirk. "I do believe that Lily calls that area, the Nirvana area or something like that and it's the place where she and Crystal would indulge to a glass of wine after work." He rolled his eyes playfully, it was really tough sometimes to keep up with those two at first, so yes, Elika should definitely rest first and foremost.
"So yep, rest and perhaps I shall join you three but, highly unlikely..." He was denying the invitation for a simple reason actually. "They have both missed you, and you three should spend the rest of the day together alone and just reconnect without a guy being around." Atlantis told her with a knowing smile. "I'll come by this evening, definitely and I might drag that Clown cousin of mine if I can find him." He grinned again and inclined his head before looking at Lucy with a knowing expression. He did not move just yet for the fact that he was just waiting first to see if she would settle there or back into her room.

Elikapeka tilts her head to the side with a theatrically suspicious expression when Atlantis suggests that she ask Lily about a certain Solaris, asking rhetorically, "Why do I get the distinct impression that you're setting me up for something? Waving her hand to dismiss the remark, Elika, gathering that the question she is tasked with asking means that there has been progress of one kind or another on the Lily and her Solaris front since she has been gone, assures Atlantis, I'll fill you in on what kind of response the question elicits. Making a comedically exaggerated sympathetic face when Atlantis mentions the bruises he has to testify to Crystal's hand to hand prowess, Elika quips, Oh, I'm sure Crystal finds ways to make up for your bruises, and then glances out towards the area Lily apparently refers to as the Nirvana area when Atlantis refers to it, nodding as she says, That name fits. Crinkling her nose, Elika continues, Before I do anything else though, I think I need a long, hot bath and some sleep," not admitting to herself or Atlantis that her recent experience has intensified her agoraphobia to the point that the thought of being outside of the comfort and security provided by being inside the lakehouse is an anxiety laden and inducing one.
Frowning disappointedly when Atlantis says it is unlikely that he would join them later in the afternoon, Elika perks up when he may come by later in the evening with Franz, saying, "Well, I hope you do find him and drag him along then, managing to put her discomfort with touching or being touched aside long enough to give Atlantis a hug as she says, It's good to back, good to see you, adding, Thanks for . . . being here, after she steps back, tugging her right sleeve and then her left down needlessly as she says, I'll walk you out," and then accompanies Atlantis to the front door.
After Atlantis has left and she has compulsively locked, unlocked and locked the front door a few times before realizing that the old compulsion has returned, Elika, after unnecessarily explaining to her lieutenant what she plans to do and being told dryly to pretend that her lieutenant is not here at all, goes to her bedroom, feeling her exhaustion from the sleepless evening beginning to weigh down on her. Once in her room, however, Elika feels restless, unaccustomed to having nothing to occupy herself at this time of day. Remembering that she needs to find her spare pair of spectacles, Elika decides to search for them, finding them not long after beginning the search. Looking at the black, thick framed pair of spectacles, not worn since she was still a university student, Elika smiles, the sight of them causing her to remember how Noelani and Raan used to call them her BCG's. Elika frowns confusedly at the thought, which, in her mind, cannot be correct; in her altered memories, she did not known Raan when she was in university with Noelani, and did not meet him until she came to Umgul. Looking at the spectacles, Elika reaches up with her left hand to massage her temple, which has begun to ache, telling herself the errant, erroneous thought was simply due to exhaustion, which caused past and present to become briefly confused. Setting the spectacles on the top of her dresser, Elika picks out a pair of khakis, a long sleeved, loose fitting white blouse and a navy colored vest to change into before making her way to her bathroom, the strange moment where her memory had been confused forgotten by the time she emerges later.

Atlantis pointed at himself when Elika said that he was setting her up to something. He just shook his head and looked at her with the most innocent expression. Since Lily couldn't really technically talk about her relationship with that Solaris with Crystal and he, in turn, couldn't really ask her because either Crystal was around, or just he wasn't just the type to ask about those things to women. Now that Elika was in the equation, yeah he could get the info from her, right? All he knew right now was, Ryan would drop in Umgul and just leave the next day to return to work, etc, etc, etc...
Andros even called that... well, never mind about that, but all he knew was that Crystal would drag him out on date, or even sometimes Lily wouldn't be around the lakehouse because she would be in the Misty Lodge. Nope, they weren't there to have tea or coffee. Atlantis snorted a laugh at the thought before regaining his composure as he looked at Elika innocently, again of course.
Atlantis definitely returned Elika's hug after their little chitchat and he even went as far as kissing her forehead before looking at her warmly, just glad to see her back here and back home in a way. After being walked out, he stood there in front of the lakehouse momentarily and just looked around. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed his datapad to let a certain Kiffar know where to find a certain Lieutenant, he even added as far as that she looked like she had been used as a punching bag and not just that...
His deed done, he got on his speeder and revved up the engine to get back to the City and get in touch with some people he needed to see and particularly Franz since he had somewhat made an unspoken promise to drag him there this evening to see Elika...

The Lakehouse
It was nearing lunchtime and therefore just like she and Lily had planned, they were returning to their home to be with Elika for that lunch. She had contacted on her way home, Atlantis to ask him if he was still there but apparently it wasn't the case and he would come around in the evening with Franz, hopefully. Concerning work, she knew that she had reserved her entire afternoon to meet with Andros but she had decided on the spot to take her afternoon off considering that Elika had just come back and she had been through a traumatic event. She let the Vice-Governor know that she could still be joined any time at all and if he decided to meet when he did have some free time, she would walk on back to the office but apparently he had told her that it was quite unnecessary and that it was far more important for her to be with Elika exclusively for the time being.
She knew that Andros cared that much and she had only smiled at his return message, considering the fact that he wasn't the kind to take any thanks often or just talk the small talk, she just decided to not reply back but she was hoping that he would still feel how grateful she was feeling about that gesture of his.
Crystal had just exited the cab and paid for the fare, she was of course with Lily and they were just talking about random things as always, and it did not concern work, only maybe a little considering that Lily was asking about the new PA, when they finally passed the threshold of the lakehouse could they finally be heard clearly.
"Blonde and blue eyes? Lily repeated with an amused smirk. At that rate the government officials are going, no one will be able to work correctly! I mean c'mon, I am still thinking that a few of the guards there have a thing for you!"
"Oh please, I am officially off the market, but you technically aren't." Crystal told her childhood friend before getting a facial expression here and there. Crystal placed her keys down into the bowl on the table by the entrance before removing her coat and placing that onto the peg. She wondered where Elika could be hiding and then she thought for a moment that she might have been sleeping and that perhaps she and Lily were a little too loud. She winced at the thought and just removed her heels before walking barefoot towards the kitchen because she actually wanted to cook.
The moment she got to the kitchen, she noticed that the mugs have been cleared out and even the box where no doubt the wines were had been thrown, the cabinet had been refilled with some Coruscant blush wine, Alderaani wine and some Blossom wine. She really was hoping that Elika did not do all of that because she was exhausted and needed to rest but at the same time, she quite understood why she did, if that was her indeed.
"Baby girl, anything you want to eat in particular?" She asked curiously when Lily joined her into the kitchen as she was looking into the fridge to see what she could do with the ingredients she had in there. Of course, she would ask the same question to Elika about anything she wanted to eat and knowing Lily, the latter would ask if she had seen that interview concerning Atlantis, because after all, it was one of the talks they also had on the way back home.

One of the R-4 recon droids alerts Lucy to the approaching vehicle that, after the drone has zoomed in enough on the vehicle to identify the passengers, she quickly ascertains is bearing the geek's housemates. Electing to be as unobtrusive as possible, Lucy heads from the living room where she had maintaining her post to the geek's studio to continue her task of protecting her principle. Hekekia had been, for the majority of the day thusfar, keeping to her room or studio doing whatever artsy-fartsy types do when they aren't working, which has been fine with Lucy.
Elikapeka had, after unpacking and doing a bit of laundry when it became clear that sleep was not going to be forthcoming, spent the majority of the morning in her studio ignoring her employer's instructions to take time off by working on some of the ongoing architectural projects she had undertaken prior to leaving for Rori. It took some time, but Elika was eventually able to lose herself for an hour or two in her work before the need to sleep, mercifully, finally reared its head. Equally mercifully, the sleep had been so deep that, if she dreamed at all, Elika remembered nothing of the dreams she might have dreamed upon waking when, her nerves still so frayed that the arrival of Crystal and Lily was enough to summon her from her slumber, she heard the opening of the front door and the sound of voices.
After securing her hair in a ponytail rather than try and tame it, Elika rolls the sleeves of her shirt down and buttons them before puttting on her spectacles and, waving to her lieutenant when she passes her studio and sees her inside, makes her way to the kitchen in time to hear Crystal asking Lily if there is anything specific she wants to eat. Summoning a convincing smile and doing her best to look as though her experience on Rori has left her unshaken, Elika announces her arrival with a cheery, "I have missed your cooking, hon'. This will be a treat, and then sitting on one of the stools around the kitchen island after a wave to Lily, asks her friends, So, how was work? Folding her hands together and resting her chin atop them, Elika asks Crystal, Anything I can do to help hon'?"

So ..! She is off the market but seriously, I am still thinking that CKayne pushed for that particular person's hiring because she is easy on the eyes. Seriously, there is no harm in just looking right? I am all for that, and okay maybe I am still looking from time to time at those Chiss twin because, I have to admit, they are nice and all that but ... "I may technically still be on the market but it doesn't change a thing, I am fine this way!" There is no drama, no strings attached at all ... Besides, he is the one that keeps coming here, not the other way around ... I clearly have to admit that ... It is then and there that I notice CKayne's subtle glare. Oh crap! Okay sue me if you want baby girl but I cannot help it but think about your brother from time to time! Right, by some twisted way, CKayne can still read my thoughts only because apparently she and I are close and no matter what lover boy did, he apparently couldn't change a thing. Connection ...
Oh, thank the gods! Save by the bell, Elika is here and is awake. "Hi gorgeous, I can tell that she may be faking it for a little bit, and just pretend that she looks fine but let's be honest, she absolutely looks like crap, but never mind that. Yeah, entertain her, baby girl and I, we shall Crystal here was asking if I wanted to eat anything in particular, but you know what? I look from Crystal to Elika meaningfully with a warm smile. You decide the dish. Winking playfully at her before walking around the kitchen island to get some wine glasses, I notice that Elika has not started drinking. Blossom wine, gorgeous?" I ask her knowing that CKayne will drink whatever Elika is going to drink.
Grabbing the bottle from the fridge after Elika has decided which drink she wanted, I just uncork the bottle and pour the wine into our glasses to drink and be merry. "By the way, Crystal and I have decided unanimously that we were taking our afternoon off. That definitely came to an unanimous decision and whatever stuff is happening in the government for now, she put that on pause. As for work, oh it was fine ... Boring but whatever, at least I am done with those texts. But did you see lover boy's recent interview? I asked her with a faint giggle as I glance amusingly at Crystal before looking back at Elika with a knowing smile. Oh and CKayne here has a PA, blonde, blue eyes apparently." With that covered, said and all of that, I finally take a sip of my wine after toasting with my friends.
