Ares nodded to let Ali know that he indeed had everything after having paid attention to what his brother and sister had said about Raan or his absence but who also was currently in charge. So Andros was in charge? Not only was he the primary target but Ares also supposed that the man's public demeanor played a big role in that. Really he felt sorry for all of them. For now he was still silent and just listened to what was being said around the table here in the recessed area. Ares wasn't really a talkative guy and he preferred being silent, especially when eating but much to his dismay though, Ryan had put him on the spot after his brother was clearly exchanging a few facts with his fiancée.
"Workaholic, you know how it is." Ares said faintly, to just answer his brother's question. He knew that Ali and Isis were working but he wasn't, at all. Since he was no where near RDMC anyways, but since he really didn't want to get into that, Ares just moved along and looked at Ali with an amused expression particularly when Ryan asked them how Ares had proposed, which was no where near close to all of those suggestions. "Do you want to tell him, or should I?" Ares asked playfully, he had no idea if Isis knew how he had proposed, but something told him that perhaps she did, after all, both Alisha and Isis had that certain affinity with one another, and there was also Ali's mom who was quite aware of those things, since Jena did mess a little with them, when Ares opened the door to greet her after he got dressed.
Turning to look at the wine being served there on the table, Ares reached out for two glasses and handed one to Ali if she wanted one and he took the other to give to Isis if she wanted it as well before taking a glass for himself and he just looked at Atlantis with a smile. "Salute, cugino." Lifting his glass to thank the man for the toast, Ares turned to look at his fiancée and clinked their glass together before taking a sip of his drink. "And thank you for having us." Ares looked at his siblings at least more importantly and he just knew that he had a lot of explaining to do but Ares was just glad that neither Crystal nor Ryan were holding anything against him, at least for now.

Pookie kissing Ayodele is a start ... Maybe I was expecting something more, but then again, I have asked him to kiss her from me, and I factually wouldn't kiss her on her lips, okay that is good enough for me, for now ... I find myself smiling warmly in Ayodele's direction when she blows me a kiss, and I wink at her but before I can even say something, Baby Girl just has to tell me off, "Pfff, there goes m ... Cutting myself short since Crystal is clearly warning me to not even think about it, I just carry on with something else entirely My mojo being obliterated by you." Poking my tongue out at CKayne since she clearly has aborted what I was about to say, I cannot believe she is doing this to me, she is killing me.
It also appears that Lover Boy is clearly off the hook right now and I just look at him jadedly before pointing at my eyes with both my index and middle fingers and then back at him to let him know that I am watching him. "You heard her, for the time being, Lover Boy. I am still going to hold onto that scoreboard above his head, for smacking Pookie while he was being all suave with Ayodele and for just being plain ridiculous, but right now I am finding myself listening to that exchange between Crystal and Ayodele, the latter does have a point, at least insofar, but right now, I'd rather not get on that case, since I deem myself to have done my part for the time being, I just return my attention onto Lover Boy who is about to make that toast, actually. Something else does catch my attention, my boyfriend doing that twenty questions with his brother, but since right now the toast does take precedence, I listen attentively to what Lover Boy is saying. Nicely said, Lover Boy. Lifting my glass in his direction, to toast to that, I soon find myself looking at the engaged couple with a knowing smile. Don't mention it, Ares. It's good that you have come ..."
For many reasons, I am glad that he has finally shown himself and has come back to life, as knowing both of his siblings, the two of them have really been fussing over the fact that Ares has not contacted them up till last night but since this is still a no drama day, I don't even want to get into that and it's not even my concern to begin with. I really don't foresee Crystal and Ryan being happy with me about that. Finally taking a sip of my wine after clinking with whoever, I just savor pleasantly my Alderaani wine ...

"Maybe the owner guessed or assumed that you were friends with my female striking friends?" Franz casually said, but at the same time he meant it all the same. It wasn't far fetched, right? Or did that make his shallow, kriff it, Ayodele was still, is beautiful all the same and really to him it really was the personality that mattered the most, and sure the looks were the first thing he would see but being friends with people that had brains that was the most important thing to him. Franz really had no idea how she would take that statement of his, nor did he have any a precise idea on how she would react to his kiss, well it was on her cheek and it was from Lily, and he really couldn't just aim for Ayodele's lips, right?
That and he really was nervous and he preferred not to have an audience.
Franz looked from Ayodele to Crystal, the latter was supportive and was giving him one too many credits, Franz actually had no idea if he would have done that, at least what she was saying, for the simple reason that he really just was out of touch and didn't know what to say things correctly. Smiling sheepishly once more when he understood that Ayodele was teasing him right then and there, he had to admit that she had a point then and there. He really felt guilty about that and it showed when he kept on looking into her eyes with embarrassment mixed with guilt. "For what it's worth, I too am happy that you have accepted and even didn't shut me down yesterday at the bar..." He sincerely said, Franz had been ready to just be told to get lost but really, it took some pushing for him to really do all of those things.
He really had the women here to thank, all of them, unable to help himself, Franz placed his hand onto Ayodele's and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Thank you." He said softly as he just took her hand and gave the back of her hand a kiss before releasing her as he looked up at Atlantis who was toasting. Ayodele didn't want any wine for now and actually he'd settle for his water currently, he smiled when his cousin looked at Ayodele and he blinked once to thank the man before raising his bottle and looking back at Ayodele. "I'll toast to that." Franz smiled widely and nodded to the new friends but ultimately his gaze returned to Ayodele's.

Delaana bit her lower lip when she felt Elika leaning over and whispering to her ear. Looking at the architect slyly before winking, Lana in turn whispered teasingly. "Please do, it truly is cute, though I cannot believe that I just gave a weakness right now." Pouting playfully since now it seemed like Elika had one up on Lana, she was amused all the same and she really enjoyed those little moments where they just talked together.
Lana looked towards the area of where everyone else were, she looked on for a moment in silent and just noticed how the others interacted with one another. Nothing really seemed to be out of the ordinary from the ones she knew, Atlantis being... himself and the two executives of the government just pulling each other's leg and dragging others in their wake. Standard procedure, just like the Vice Governor being overly silent. She figured that he would speak whenever he felt like it. Out of the newest arrivals, she noticed that the young girl was the most talkative one between her dad and aunt, which caused Lana to look at her with genuine interest especially when she described how she had come to possess a tailring. Peculiar encounter, on how Morgan discovered her companion, but it looked to Delaana that it seemed to be in the midst of something bad in a way. "It must have been a delightful moment for you, Morgan, when you found the egg there." Maybe her cousin's tailring just wanted to keep the young girl company and make sure that nothing further happened to her. Lana didn't want to assume at all but from the looks she had perceived from Morgan, something bad might have happened. Glancing briefly at Elika, Lana knew that something was going on with the architect, which was why she took Elika's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Funny and sweet, my Shakal," Smiling at Elika and then back at Morgan, Lana added on gratefully. "Thank you for sharing, but does Lokay, willingly approach people he doesn't know, or do we have to lure him like say," Looking down at the plate filled with bacon that the tailring seemed to be devouring, "Bacon?"
Looking over her boss when she instructed Atlantis to make the toast, Lana stifled a laugh before shaking her head with amusement. "I'll stick with my cocktail, I am sure that a certain lawyer and CFO have missed that drink of theirs, so more for them..." Lifting her cocktail glass, Lana tilted her head on the side curiously and wondered if Elika wanted some of the wine not asking, Lana traded her cocktail glass for the glass of wine and presented it to Elika. "I believe this is yours, a gift from Ayodele to the ones living here."

Crystal looked from Ayodele to Franz thoughtfully as the former was rhetorically asking her whether Franz would have asked, Ayodele also did have a point, if it weren't for Lily yesterday, or even Lochan, their waiter at TaSpa! but also Elika, perhaps Franz might not have pursued it right away. "Perhaps not immediately, he would have done something, but I do believe that perhaps later he would have, some of us just like to prod, or a particular someone does it for all of us." That someone was obviously the one they loved to call the relentless one and Crystal was currently looking at her childhood friend. After all when it came to this type of situation, Lily was the best, hands down. Grinning once more, Crystal looked back at Ayodele and inclined her head. "Between you and I, Ayodele, he did ask if he could invite you to begin with." Franz was in a certain way under duress, but then again, that was just between her, Elika, Lily and Lana, no one else needed to know how that came about.
Preferring to leave it at that, Crystal grabbed a glass of wine and soon look at her boyfriend who was about to toast for something. What he first said, Crystal did not really believe that, what she knew of and about Atlantis, the man could be eloquent and express himself perfectly, or at least in his own way, and he always meant his words. "Cheers," Leaning over and kissing Atlantis' cheek, Crystal closed her eyes briefly as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Stop saying you are not good at that, it was perfect." Crystal murmured softly before picking her head up again so that she could drink to everything he had said.
"To family and friends but also you two," Crystal looked at her brother and his fiancée, knowing that she still had some matters to discuss with them, like finding out how Ares proposed or even if they had chosen a date or something. So many things to ask, but at the same time she wanted to speak with her brother who had been absent for a long time from her life and from Ryan's. Not wanting to get to that just yet, Crystal looked at everyone and asked them all. "Need anything else? I believe that my brother has made cake, so I hope you have enough space after your main course." Grinning knowingly at Ares she inclined her head gratefully but for the time being she remained silent as if to gauge him, his overall state of mind to be honest. Though he must already be preoccupied about things, just like she was.

*Aerandir and Michelle both idly listened to the conversation around them as they ate, and it was quite good food; Aerandir would have to say so later. Morgan seemed happy enough explaining about how she met Lokay to... Elika-something? There were a lot of names to remember, and he had to admit he was better with faces than he was names. Morgan froze a little before choosing to skip over the details that led to her... "stay" in the medical facilities, and Aerandir had to fight a frown as well as he recalled those uncertain times, but she was quickly happy again and chatting.
Things seemed to briefly shift focus, as a toast to Alisha and her fiancé was held, complete with wine. Aerandir wasn't much of an alcohol drinker, but he wouldn't pass up a small amount for special occasions such as this, so he accepted. Jokingly, Michelle raised a hand and asked,* "Hey, where's mine?" *But Aerandir only grinned and pulled her hand down, causing her to giggle.
Crystal volunteered Atlantis to do the toast, then asked around at the others present—Aerandir and his crew included—if they needed anything else. Smiling, he shook his head and answered,* "No thanks. Everything's been great so far."
*Nodding in agreement, Michelle added,* "Yeah, thanks!"
*During the toast, Aerandir and Michelle both smiled, touched to be included as "new friends," then raised their glasses—Michelle's of juice of course—at the end. Aerandir called,* "Cheers!" *which Michelle echoed, before both taking a sip. Aerandir didn't make a face; wine was always an odd taste to him, but it was a special occasion, he could deal with it, although he did jokingly sway in his seat and ask,* "Woah, is the room spinning?"
*Michelle giggled as he dropped the act. Thinking about a way to open up a little more and join in on conversation, he looked at the engaged couple and, smirking, said,* "I hope you have a successful marriage, but enjoy the duoship while it lasts before the kids come along."

*Morgan grinned when the woman said that Lokay imprinting on her was funny. It was a little funny, but also sad for Lokay's real mommy. But there was nothing Morgan could do about that now anyway, and she loved Lokay, so it was okay, right?
After a bit of a pause, the woman seemingly repeated what she had just said, only specifying "imprinting" verbally, and seemed a bit certain. Maybe she was just shy or nervous? Morgan definitely knew what that was like. Or... used to. She was told she had been very shy when she was very little... or littler than she was now... But honestly she couldn't remember, and the very concept seemed foreign to her, so she didn't worry about it much.
Instead, she smiled and nodded, saying,* "Yep! There's other imprinting too, like with akk dogs, I have one of those too! I bet he misses me... I miss him too..." *And really the jungle in general; there was nothing more fun to her than a day spent out there, Rush at her side and Lokay on her shoulder. But she'd be home in no time.
Another woman, the one who'd been with the other most of the time—Morgan really needed to get their names—commenting how delightful finding Lokay's egg must have been. Morgan grinned and said,* "Yeah!" *When asked if he was comfortable approaching strangers or would have to be lured, such as with bacon, she giggled and shook her head.* "Bacon would help, but he's not scared of people! He's very nice! But you might not wanna touch his bacon..."
*She giggled again as she watched her little tailring work through what seemed to be the last of the bacon. She sat in thought for a moment, then realized that she really needed to start remembering names if she was gonna have an easy time here; so far, other than those she knew from elsewhere, she only knew the names of Atlantis, Crystal, Andros, and Ryan... That would have to change.* "Um... what are your names again? Sorry, it's hard to remember a lot at once..."
*Wait, did someone mention toast? Oh, a toast, not bread. It was Atlantis who gave said toast, apparently including herself and her family as "new friends." She smiled sweetly, then... oh, was she supposed to raise a glass? She looked around for it, spotting it beside her chair, and leaned down to grab it and lift it up, almost spilling some of the food she had left on her plate. Her daddy and Michelle shouted 'Cheers,' which Morgan was sort of familiar with, but instead of seem rude, she echoed the call of,* "Cheers!" *before taking a sip and going back to her food.*

Smiling mischievously after Delaana playfully laments having revealed a weakness, Elikapeka leans over to whisper next to her ear, "Don't worry, my Ceesi, I solemnly promise not to exploit the knowledge. Well, not much, she adds teasingly after a slight pause. Giving Delaana's hand a grateful squeeze after she reassures Elika that her comments were not as silly as Elika feared they might be, Elika smiles a silent thank you before turning her attention to Morgan when the young girl explains that she also has an akk dog, which she misses. An akk dog too? You must really like animals, I guess, Elika says, smiling as she asks, Do you have any other pets? Laughing after Morgan warns Delaana about the potential dangers of touching Lokay's bacon, Elika fulfills Morgan's request to learn their names, pointing to herself as she says, Elikapeka, and waves her hand, thumb keeping her sleeve in place, towards Delaana as she adds, and Delaana."
Mouthing her thanks to Delaana when passed the glass of wine, Elika lifts it after Atlantis has completed his toast, smiling at him after taking a drink of her wine to let him know that his apparent concerns about not being up to the task of making an eloquent or appropriate toast were unfounded. Shaking her head when Crystal asks if anyone needs anything, Elika pats her stomach as she says, "I definitely want to make sure I have room for cake, and then asks, Speaking of which, should I go ahead and bring it out?"

"Sor...." Ice began but caught herself before she apologized, once again. Holding up her hands in a semi surrendering fashion, then dropping them, she continued. "You're right, Andros. No harm was done. Lets just eat and enjoy the rest of the day."
"We gonna eat now?" Lukas asked as he switched off the datapad and stuffed it into Ice's bag before standing up and looking at her with a hopeful looked etched on his face.
"Yes, dude, we're going to eat now." Ice replied, ruffling his hair with an amused half grin before standing up to accept the plate that Andros handed to her. After thanking him, she glanced down to Lukas. "Why don't you go sit down over there by Ali. I'll be there in a minute okay?"
"Ok!" Lukas replied enthusiastically then padded over and plopped himself down next to Ali, who had given him a quick affectionate hug and a kiss on to of his head. Ice smiled, watching him then looked back to face Andros again. She knew that she was probably pressing her luck but she couldn't help it as she tilted her head a little to the side and studied his obvious good looks and seemingly aloof, or maybe it was more of a brooding, demeanor. After a moment she nodded her head, slightly, apparently coming to some sort of silent agreement with him - or maybe it was an agreement with herself about him. Either way, she turned on a heel and made her way over to the recessed lounge area and set her plate down on the table before going back over to where hers and Lukas' drink were still sitting on the table by lounge chair/pool.
Returning back to the recessed area, Ice set the drinks down beside her plate then took a seat beside Lukas. Ali was in a conversation with Ryan so Ice didn't want to interrupt that. Instead she began cutting up the steak so Lukas could begin eating. Lukas watched with great interest while she cut the meat into bite size pieces and when she was done he gave her a toothy grin before reaching for a small piece but stopped as if remembering something.
"Mommy, I needa fawrk!"
Raising an amused eyebrow, Ice handed him one of the smaller forks and he proceeded to eat with gusto while Ice took some bites of food from the plate as well. While they were eating Ice was listening to the banter between Ali, Ares, and Ryan and smirking when Ryan inquired as to how Ares had proposed. She chuckled, between bites of food, when Ares asked Ali if she wanted to explain or should he.
Arching a challenging eyebrow at Ali, Ice spoke up. "Yes, Ali....tell us how that proposal went down." Leaning forward a bit, she gave Ali a wry grin, knowing full well what happened when Ares proposed. She just wanted to see how much of the story Ali would omit and/or censor given the fact that Ares' family apparently didn't know that he'd been gone from not only their lives for the last year, but from Ali's as well. Another fact was that there were children present so whatever Ali told them, she would almost certainly leave out the juicier parts of the story - for now anyway. Crystal, however, had inadvertently captured Ice's attention when she asked if they needed anything else.
Smiling warmly, Ice met Crystals gaze. "I think we have everything we need, thank you."
"Dis is good shtuff! Can I 'ave sommore apple juish, pwease?" Lukas piped up after swallowing his bite of food and holding up his nearly empty glass for them to see.
"Or not...." Ice mused with a half smile. Looking back to Crystal again she began to speak once more. "I can get it for him if you'll just let me know where it is. I don't want your food to get cold before you have a chance to enjoy it."
She didn't expect to be waited on, especially not when everyone was so nice and getting along so well. Except for that one tiny little hiccup she had with Andros, all was good. Before she could say anything further though, Atlantis proposed a toast to friends, old and new, and to the newly engaged couple. Picking up the glass of wine Ali had passed to her, she joined in the round of cheers when Atlantis finished speaking. Lukas even joined in draining his glass of juice and pushing the empty glass into Ice's hand with a giggle.
"CHEEWRS!" He exclaimed with excitement, clapping his hands together then moved in to wrap his arms around Ice's neck and give her a smacking apple juice soaked kiss on the cheek.
Laughing, Ice set her wine glass down on the table and held up Lukas' glass at eye level while hugging him with the other arm. There was an amused expression on her face when he pulled back a little leaving his small hands on her shoulders. You're suppose to say cheers before you drink, not after. We totally need to work on your dining and drinking etiquette, dude."

Delaana had smiled warmly in Elika's direction, only to emphasize that the thanks were unneeded, but Lana said nothing of it since she was certain that Elika would prefer it that way, some attention had already been drawn onto the architect and Lana just wanted to make, at least, this conversation they were having with Morgan, as less anxiety inducing to Elika. Another reason why Lana's gaze didn't linger for too long on Elika and she returned her attentive gaze on the little girl they were speaking with. It turned out that Morgan also had an akk dog, which was very impressive, but from what Lana knew, they were Jedi's companion too and from Haruun Kal. "I do bet that he misses you, you both must have a strong bond." Laughing soon enough when warned to not even try and touch Lokay's bacon, Lana gave a thumb up and nodded. "Friendly, but no touching the bacon, got it." Smiling widely and looking at the tailring who really ate all of his bacon, Lana kept on looking at the animal and looked up when asked for her name, which Elika had provided and in turn, Lana just wiggled her fingers with a friendly and warm smile. "It really can be difficult, but don't worry, just let us know," Lana pointed at herself and Elika before grinning. "And we'll fill you in, after all girls have to stick together, right?"
Inclining her head as a you're welcome, Lana looked at her boss and then back at Ares who had made the cake, or cakes, since she saw those into the conservator back in the kitchen but as she looked on at Ares, she overheard their ongoing conversation and pursed her lips when the one she knew as Ice chirped in putting her cousin on the spot about Ares' infamous proposal. Something told Lana that it must really be one heck of a story. But since Crystal had asked the question, Lana looked back at her and shook her head to deny a second helping as just like Elika she was reserving some space for the cake. "You need help with that, my Shakal? From what I saw earlier, there are three cakes in there..." At least it would be a single trip there, but then again, knowing the ones residing here, that would be a travesty for them to let the guests do all of those things.

"I am sure that we could fix you up with something resembling to wine, but non-alcoholic, of course." Crystal told Michelle with a playful tone as she noticed the interaction between Aerandir and his sister. "Delaana did say that girls should stick together." While Crystal indeed applied that rule to begin with, she wasn't crazy to let a early teen drink some alcohol, that was just plain ridiculous. As she was looking at a certain distance, she noticed something which caused her eyebrows to lift a little, and if she noticed that, then she was sure as hell that her childhood friend saw or knew about it.
"It's fine, Ice," Crystal really had to get used to someone having that name, but thankfully she got over it and just shook her hand looking at her son soon enough with a grin. "And you can certainly have more apple juice, Lukas." The area was getting quite crowded and for a moment she had been tempted to use her ability and summon that jug of apple juice, but no, no way, she wasn't going to use the easy way out which was why, she placed her hand onto Atlantis' shoulder and got out of the recessed area to walk over towards the bar to get that apple juice and bring it back there to give Lukas some more. "Here you are, enjoy and you can have more if you wish since I am going to leave this next to you and your mom, okay?"
Since she was there now, she could think about what to do next and looked at her housemate who had offered to go get the cake, or those cakes. "You," Looking at Elika with a knowing smile, Crystal tilted briefly her head on the side and added on. "Are not going to do it on your own, as for you," This time she looked at Delaana knowingly. "You remain seated, you are a guest and we aren't in the government building." Crystal was just that way, this was her home and she preferred it when guests were guests, it was already bad that Lana had made a side dish, but Crystal got over that, but now she was really putting an end on that. "Let's bring the cakes out hon'." Smiling once more, also that would give her the opportunity to be momentarily alone with Elika, to apologize, since she had seen the look earlier and really she should have thought twice before putting Elika on the spot like she did earlier.
"And please hold off temporarily the proposal story, I really do want to hear that." Crystal said with a knowing smile before looking at Ice since it sounded to Crystal that there really was something that had happened there when Ares proposed and it might not have been the way Ryan had assumed to begin with.

"Sure, Elikapeka tells Delaana with a smile when asked if she will need any help with the cakes, and then starts to stand up just as Crystal calls out to her to say that she will be helping while Delaana stays put. Crinkling her nose and shrugging with an amused smile, Elika tells Delaana, Oops, looks like I spoke too soon. Change of plans, my Ceesi. Be right back," she adds, giving Delaana's hand a gentle squeeze before walking to join Crystal for the brief trip to the kitchen to retrieve the cakes.
Linking her arm in Crystal's as they make their way inside, Elika smiles as she observes, "I think things have gone well, and then, well aware that she has not necessarily been paying attention to all that have been going on around her at all times, a bit less certainly adds, They have gone well, haven't they? Have you had a chance to talk with Ares yet? He and Ali seem really happy."

Le sigh, really do I have to keep on playing matchmaker ..? While there are matters where I wouldn't meddle with to begin with, sometimes, apparently from the looks of it, I have to do it. Really, to help or not to help, that is the question ... Though it would help also if Boss Man showed some overt sign ... That is clearly the problem with Andros, maybe he has seen it, or he has not because he is a guy, but it's really hard to tell with him, There he is all broody and just let's face it, a tall dark and handsome, I wouldn't be surprised if Ice is bothered by that. Later, right now, I am waving my hand in Baby Girl's direction to deny anything else, I am currently very satisfied with my wine.
It also appears that Aerandir isn't against a glass of wine, though his sister? Yes, his sister would want to have a sip or her own glass, That clearly makes me smirk, just like seeing Baby Girl interacting there with Lukas ... That just causes me to look dead on at Lover Boy with a perplexed expression, though before I comment on that, I wait for Kayne to scurry off to get those cakes with Gorgeous, and she even has requested for the proposal story to be postponed. Sounds like it's going to be entertaining, maybe I should get some popcorn for that, or something ...
Finally turning to look at Lover Boy, after making sure that Crystal and Elika have cleared the premises, I look at him with a dead serious expression. "Lover Boy, did you see how your girl spoke with Lukas?! Rhetorical question, of course, but there is a certain perplexed expression and tone right there from me. I mean, sinceriously, when are you going to pop the question, I am not getting any younger here! Muttering my statement, it is a joke of course, and I do love pulling his leg, and often times he makes it so easy, but lifting my hand to let him know that I respect his choices and whatever gunk there is, I finally take a deep breath and sigh mournfully. You are going to give me a cliffhanger, aren't you?"
Brushing that little moment away, at least resting my case right then and there because I do know that if I do end up pushing too much, it might be irritating, so, I'd rather put a lid on that and just take a sip of my wine before leaning back against the couch. "You know, perhaps you should make it more obvious, some don't just work with signs, it's too subtle." I say to no one in particular but quite frankly, I am mainly speaking to Ice right then and there, and I do look at her briefly with a faint smirk before glancing furtively at the brooding one.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Crystal smiled when she felt Elika linking her arm to hers as they made their way indoor; nodding with a knowing smile to confirm that indeed, things have gone well thus far, Crystal though didn't know how to respond right then and there about Ares. "No, I haven't spoken with Ares yet, just the usual, 'hi, how are you, you look good, and you seemed to have gained more muscles...' which Ryan has pointed out earlier." Crystal chuckled at the memory of Ryan just walking in with the people from Honoghr, and honestly, Crystal really wasn't in that correct mindset to really talk with Ares right, on why he disappeared, but since Elika brought up Alisha in this case, she must have meant the whole engagement thing.
Arriving in the kitchen, Crystal detached herself from Elika and leaned against the kitchen island to begin with with a faint smile. "I am sure that I'll be able to speak with Ares later, I mean, he has been busy, you can thank Lily for that." Shaking her head playfully, Crystal smiled at her childhood friend's shenanigans, from getting Ares to make the cake, to actually manage to get Alisha and Ares together alone. But other than that, Crystal also had done this on purpose, to be with Elika alone, under the pretense that they were going to get the cakes, which they certainly were along with extra plates and cutlery. "Sweetie, I am sorry for earlier," Crystal said softly, sincerely with a noticeable frown. "I really didn't want to make you uncomfortable to begin with." Though Crystal grinned soon enough and added on. "I suppose that I should also be thanking Delaana...?"
Pushing away from the kitchen island so that she could get to one of the cabinets and get the plates for the dessert, Crystal placed those on the counter first and then went to find the forks. "Also, yes, Ares and Alisha do seem happy together," Crystal smiled as she remembered the first time she had met her brothers and Alisha was there too. "Also, I do not know if you have noticed, but it looks like Alisha's cousin seems to be taken by our dearest Andros..." Biting her lower lip to stifle a giggle, Crystal did a quick count on the number of plates and forks that were right before her.

Smiling with a languid shrug of her shoulders when Franz suggests it may have been possible that the store owner had guessed that she was acquainted with the friends of Franz, and made a recommendation as to the wine she might bring accordingly, Ayodele says, "I suppose anything is possible, Franz. Patting Franz's forearm with an amused smile when he reiterates that he is glad she had welcomed his advances at the spa as well as his invitation to join him here today, Ayodele says warmly and genuinely, As am I, Franz."
Lifting her glass along with the others when Atlantis proposes his toast, Ayodele gives him a smile before taking a small drink, and then sets it back down. Picking up her plate, the contents of which she has moved around to give the impression that she has eaten, Ayodele selects a small slice of fruit and actually eats it, inasmuch as she is able to do so; possessing a digestive system designed for the unique diet of her species, she has no way to digest the fruit, and will have to eventually rid herself of the masticated remnants at some point along with the liquid she also has no way to digest. The mild discomfort she feels without betraying any outward sign of experiencing it is, in Ayodele's estimation, a small price to pay for having been witnessed eating and drinking, a trick she has leaned and perfected over the years as blending with humans has become more essential to her everyday life among them. Though she acknowledges to herself that her own mistrust of others may be at the heart of her act, Ayodele feels the small deception is as much for her own benefit as it is for the comfort of those she allows to come to know her; for she has seen how the alien or poorly understood is always a source of fear or mistrust among the majority of the inhabitants of the universe.

Atlantis could only smile when Lily, Crystal but also Elika had indicated that he had given a good toast and also grateful for the people present here, also accepting what he had said especially the ones that he qualified as new friends. Closing briefly his eyes when he felt Crystal kissing his cheek, Atlantis turned his head to kiss the top of her head affectionately. “Different circumstances, perhaps…” Atlantis murmured in a vaguely way, but he accepted the compliments, even though he was never comfortable at being complimented for the things he might have done or said. He knew that Crystal would understand, anyways, they were passed the whole having to justify one another to each other and she just knew him that much and vice versa.
Hearing what Aerandir had said, Atlantis chuckled and asked genuinely. “Not a drinker, are you?” He wasn’t asking for Aerandir’s whole biography that wasn’t the case here, not at all, but truly, often times Atlantis wondered if it was by choice or just bad experience with things that people often bypassed certain things, but clearly right now, Aerandir hadn’t been against taking a sip of his wine, maybe Atlantis supposed, that it only was for a good occasion.
“You wan—…” Atlantis started to say to Crystal about getting the apple juice there that was on the bar counter, and he certainly could use the Force if necessary, heck Crystal could use it to, but considering that she did not use it idly, especially around people here that weren’t quite aware just yet, perhaps, that she was attuned to the Force, he’d do it for her. It turned out though that she went to get it herself before saying a few things to the people around and also pretty much telling Lana off.
“Huh?” Atlantis had chosen to go through the clueless route right now when Lily addressed him, and, he furrowed his eyebrows as if wondering what she was on about. “Nope, what I saw was, Crystal imposing herself and pretty much getting her point surgically with a few people around…” Atlantis moved his index finger around to emphasize his point, it went from Ice there to Lana also, and he knew that Crystal just preferred things being done a certain way, if people were guests, they were guests, and it was supposed to stay that way for her. Although he knew that Atlantis wasn’t going to be off the hook easily, especially when Lily pressed on with what she really had intended to say. “Cliffhanger indeed, counselor, and as a matter of fact, you’ll know when she’ll tell you, whenever that may be…”
Preferring to disregard Lily’s latest comment since it wasn’t directed at him, but he knew who it was for, considering the little things he had seen, but also that little conversation he had with Alisha earlier by the bar, Atlantis finished his meal and placed the plate on the table there before leaning back and just closing his eyes with that satisfied feeling, that he knew wouldn’t last, since this was only a temporary reprieve from what he knew was waiting for him the very next day…

Frowning as she puzzles out how they will be able to manage carrying the cakes and the plates and the cutlery, Elikapeka nods when Crystal says that she hasn't yet had the chance to talk with Ares in any real depth, snickering when she learns that Lily is responsible for the fact Crystal hasn't had the chance to get her brother alone, Lily having kept Ares busy in one way or another. Not aware of how it is that Lily had kept Ares busy, Elika asks, "Has she been giving him the third degree? Maybe you won't have to actually talk to him to learn everything, Elika jokes as she takes a large tray from a cabinet, Lily will probably have interrogated him and learned all there is to know before you have the chance."
Waving a hand to indicate Crystal shouldn't be apologizing, Elika smiles as, having one of her moments of self-clarity since she is comfortable enough with Crystal that her anxiety has abated entirely for the moment, she says lightly, "Oh, please hon', I think we both know that, in the final analysis, I am the one that makes myself uncomfortable without any help from anyone. Social anxiety disorder poster girl here, remember? Elika jokes as she arranges the cakes on the tray, and then begins hunting for a cake knife and server. Arching an eyebrow when Crystal observes that it seems Alisha's cousin appears to possibly be smitten by Andros, Elika admits, Hm, no, I hadn't noticed, then smiles as she holds up a hand in playful warning and says, No comments about what may have been monopolizing my attention please, we're talking about Andros now."
Arranging the cakes, cake knife and server in as aesthetically appealing way as she can, Elika purses her lips in thought for a moment, considering what Crystal has said. Being protective of Andros, and not knowing Alisha's cousin at all, Elika greets the news initially with a bit of apprehension; knowing Andros, like herself, isn't always comfortable interacting with those he doesn't know well, Elika's first hope is that Andros hasn't been uncomfortable, which leads her to worry about having invited him when she knew there would be a relatively large group of people, not all of whom Andros knows well. Elika also remembers that Andros had shared with her that he and Lara Drake were in a complicated phase, which she had taken to mean that they were in a relationship, which could potentially add to the awkwardness of the situation. Shaking her head, well aware that she is probably not only giving the whole matter too much thought, but also that, her protectiveness for Andros aside, it really isn't any of her business, Elika smiles as she says, "Actually, we probably shouldn't be talking about him, he'd hate it. That doesn't, however, mean that they can't talk about Alisha's cousin, and so Elika tilts her head to the side inquisitively as she asks, How well do you know Alisha's cousin?"

Oh gosh, not again ... Sneezing twice after waving dismissively what Lover Boy has just told me, I look around suspiciously knowing exactly, that me sneezing isn't due to the people here, because I would hear my name being said, "I do suppose that I will know whenever she tells me, but right now, I need to have a little talk with Gorgeous and Baby Girl ..." Something tells me that it is the two of them that has just caused my sneezing, besides, I only sneeze when people I care about speak about me, Way to summon me one way or the other, ugh ...
"Be right back." Placing my glass of wine and plate on the table, I do look at my wine slightly appalled because I haven't finished it. Groaning, I just pick it up back and down the content and walk out of the recessed area to get indoors, where I know Crystal and Elika are ...

The last thing I hear is Gorgeous talking about a certain him and Alisha's cousin, but before getting onto that fact, that I have observed and it appears that Kayne has noticed too, I look at the both of them jadedly. "C'mon, Gorgeous, when it's not with the Hapan Bombshell, it's with Baby Girl, Rolling my eyes playfully obviously meaning that I am banking on the fact that they have spoken about me behind my back, not in a bad way, that much I know because it's them and I love them, Duh! But perhaps about something I might have done, I don't know. In any case, since I am here and considering the load of things that the two of them have to bring out, this is me helping them, but in a little while, as apparently now, the topic of conversation is Alisha's cousin. I don't suppose you mean the clear attraction that Ice has towards Boss Man? I know Boss Man enough and if he decides to even pursue that despite the fact that I know he is in a complicated relationship with a certain Lara Drake, that really is up to him, Besides, I haven't seen him returning any signs of attraction but then again, he is a wall of steel. Also, what's with the name?"
I know I have a complicated name, or at least complicated to spell, but Ice? I realy wonder why she even got that name in the first place. I really hope she isn't a frigid bee ... Otherwise we really are in trouble, but pursing that thought away, I look at both of my housemate and glance at the plates and cakes, and whatever. "How can I help?"

Ryan leaned forward on his seat, especially when Ice pipped in mischievously, at least to Ryan's observation, on how his brother had made his proposal. "Oh yes, please do tell us about that proposal..." Ryan snickered mischievously and just looked at his brother and future sister-in-law. But Ryan knew that the story wasn't going to happen now, considering that his sister had ushered her boyfriend to make a toast, and just for that, he didn't deny the glass of Alderaani wine at all. Ayodele had gotten the residents of this place, that kind of wine, that must have made her earn some points with not only his girlfriend but also his sister, who were both from there. At least Lily was born in New Alderaan and lived there most of her life, just like his sister but he knew that Crystal was born on Coruscant just like he and Ares were.
"Saluti!" Ryan exclaimed after his cousin, though not really his cousin, had issued his toast, and soon enough he looked at Aerandir with an amused smile when he added a few words to Ares and Alisha. "He knows what he is talking about." Ryan chuckled but stopped dead on and looked at Aerandir with an amused grin. "Though I am sure that it's really not comforting, right there." Ryan looked back at both his brother and Ali with an amused grin but he soon found out that the cakes were going to be brought up and his sister ultimately delayed the story, asking for a wait of her return.
"Yeaaaaaaaaah, Crystal always manages to get her way without forcing at all." Then again even his girlfriend could do that, the two of them were just that way, always getting their points across surgically just like Fly Boy had mentioned and now it appeared that even Lily was about to join them. "And you know what is more scary than that? The fact that they are together now, and here I thought that she, He pointed out at his girlfriend that was just leaving to head back inside. "Could be quite scary being a lawyer and all, but even Crystal just has that thing..." Now that Elika had been added to the equation, well something told him to just watch out, figuratively speaking. Lifting his glass of wine again, to propose another toast, only not really, he just looked at Atlantis with a grin. "To the empowered women we are surrounded by, Fly Boy."

Anything was indeed possible, but then again, it was one good explanation Franz could come up with. It also fit too, Ayodele was beautiful and so were his female friends, was that really far fetched? Franz didn't think so but then again, he really didn't want to get into that matter right then and there as he really was just lame with words often times, especially when he was with someone that he was attracted to... Smiling after the toast and retaking another sip of his wine, Franz placed the glass down and just finished up his food, he guessed that he should probably start eating instead of just looking at Ayodele this whole time, it might start being creepy to her.
Putting his plate down once done, Franz looked back at Ayodele, noticing that she still had some food on her plate and he smiled warmly. "If you aren't that hungry, don't worry about it, they will understand and really they are not gung-ho on unfinished food." Franz reassured Ayodele with a knowing smile. Actually, he really had no idea about that, but really considering that they knew them well, he didn't see Lily, Crystal or Elika being fussy about that, he hoped.
Franz looked at where the three of them had disappeared, at least where Lily had disappeared last, he did hear her sneezing, and that made him chuckle briefly remembering about a certain comment of hers from last night. "I take it that her sneezing meant that she was supposed to get where Crystal and Elika were?" Franz rhetorically said before rolling his eyes playfully. "It's like she has her own superpower, and here I thought being a Jedi was impressive already..." Stifling a laugh, Franz looked at Ayodele with an amused grin, after all he didn't care anyways, she already knew about him and as for the others, he had not told her, because it wasn't his place to tell, but he was certain that she knew that the majority was Force sensitive since a water ball fight did occur earlier.
