You know what they say: nothing gets you on the map more than being shot while standing in front of one.

If it interests you, my character (well, one of my characters) has a backstory of being something of a psychopath slash assassin. Being one to give my characters weird quirks though, he gets vertigo and doesn't react well to space travel. I've always written it as him just being shepherded around by a valet droid, but, if you were up to it, I wouldn't mind a living breathing fleshy driver. Plenty of battles, lots of space RP - or flying at the least. And there's more than a few stories I need to go back and hash out. It would also be a good way for you to legitly acquire credits through backstory for ship upgrades and such, as I would split rewards.

Oh I'm all too familiar with the writing itch. Once it starts, its really hard to stop. Well, the character is a Seyugi Dervish - so it would be feasible that I'd be on Korriban working for someone. If you were to bump into me, I'm sure things could lead from one thing to another. Say, I kill an owner of a ship, I can't fly it of course, you can - I need to get off planet, annnnd...tadah.

As you're new, you should know its the right of every new character to be able to simply spawn a single ship, up to freighter size, for transport. Usually the ship has to be stock though, for fairness sake. Course if you have something more specific in mind - getting ones first ship is a big deal for a lot of people - then thats cool as well.
