We could force Taung to deploy all of his spaceborne units into an offensive formation, or better yet, in defense of an important unit other than his flagship.
While this diversion is in place, Dha Werda Verda could land the Justice inside of his capitol ship and use the defunct proton cannon as a self-destruct system. The power of about ten PTs from the unprotected innards of the ship should destroy it or at least cripple it and its vital systems.

But infiltrating the enemy ship was my idea! Not Taungs but another persons.
But seriously though. I'm just gonna land there and use 4 out of the 6 to fight people on the drive yards. The other two will be space born in fighters I "find" because why not.

No worries Ander, take your time. Despite the fact I went crazy and posted like a madman today, I don't expect the same from you guys. Well, unless it's concerning fun. Then I expect and hope you're having fun!
Excellent idea Zulu, we'll have to see if we can incorporate it into the greater scheme of things. As most of my naval assets will be moving to the south pole to open up a front, it wouldn't be able to happen right away.

Thanks for understanding, Gideon. Just got jumped with Guard, I wasn't expecting to have to show up tomorrow. It'll be a short day though, so I'll have plenty of time to craft detailed responses. I'm going to go ahead and try to get out a post tonight, though it will be less intense than your and Taung's. I haven't been much involved in space combat, and since we're only packing a couple of ships, we're going to act mainly as support for Taung's forces. Though if you want to throw a handful of Victory II SD's my way, I'll gladly enjoy a bout with them before or during our attempt to take the shield generators!  And another note: Great friggin' job man. Seriously. |

Actually, it doesn't have to be Taung's ship at all. Whatever the source of most of your opposition is, I'm willing to sacrifice my freighter in order to destroy it. But if It's my operation that saves the shipyards, I better be getting a new ship! lol

- Five Victory II - Class Star Destroyers "Jafar, Yzma, Ratigan, Ursla, Scar"
- One Golan III "Defiant"
- 50 TIE/ln series Starfighters.
- Various amounts of shuttles, and gunships.
- Countless enlisted crew members and assigned imperial marines.
Considering I'm facing four people in space, I don't think I'm doing so bad.

Partially the reason why I'm not making a stink to get rid of them. So, while I've got a bunch of numbers floating about in my head and on paper, I'll make a post here once the battle's done about the actual combat losses the Dark Tide has sustained. Which will include crew aboard each vessel lost, and etc etc. With how the battle's going I'm certain it will be quite the lengthy process.
