Deep below in the reactor room the engineering team had just finished restoring power. Lights flickered to life though out the complex as computers powered up and security systems activated. An automated female voice came over the PA system "Breach in B.O.W Containment Lab. See nearest console for details."
"The hell?" said Sgt Baker "Corporal! Check it out!" one of the commandos ran over to a secure counsel on the wall
"It says Project 7104 is loose. Whats that mean?" at the same time the words left his mouth the corporal found out exactly what 7104 was as a what could only be described as a giant scorpion on the wall above him scooped up in it's claws and severed him two. Gun fire erupted as more of the bugs came crawling down the walls and out of the vents.

Thirty minutes later Invisus receives the briefing from Dr. Halsey on his datapad:

The Queen lays eggs that hatch into larva, larva use enzymes to burrow into and feed on the bodies of cocooned victims.

Warriors are large scorpion like animals with hard exoskeletons to resist damage. Roughly two meters long and half meter tall. Has a tail tipped with a stinger that can inject or spray a strong “super acid” able to dissolve steel and rock. Has the ability to change color like a chameleon to fit in with soundings. Pinchers in front and large mandibles can cut though a steel beam

Workers are almost indistinguishable from Warriors expect in coloring which is red striped and non changing. Front legs are larger and paddle shaped rather then pinchers and used for digging tunnels in the hive. Acid in slightly stronger and used for cutting rock quickly. Slightly smaller then warriors and entirely non aggressive.

Flyers are wasp like arachnids with large stingers that inject the same super acid as the other classes. Lacks pinchers and rather has long blade-like front legs able to stab and cut. Able to spit acid from their mouths and cut though steel.

Swarmers are much smaller then their kin, being only 6 inches in length they attack in great numbers and use acid to dissolve armor and flesh allowing them to feed rapidly on their victims, in fact they can, in large enough numbers strip the flesh from a man in only a matter of 30 seconds or less.

Gathers are more spider like and have paralyzing venom, they take victims back to the hive for food.

Invisus' shuttle landed at the city port. The strange presence he had felt was growing stronger, it was a very familiar feeling but he could not quite place it. He ordered his guards to stay behind as he set off to find the source of the disturbance.

Invisus was still searching the city when his com-link activated. A troubled voice spoke from the other end.

"Mi'lord, this is Colonel Stross. Major Mabro has not reported in since you left. We fear his team is lost, I thought you should know. What would you have us do?"

"Message received Colonel, I'm on my way back. Out."

The sith lord made haste back to his shuttle and in moments was in the air headed for the lab.

As Invisus and his personal guards descended in the elevator Col. Stross briefed them over the comlink.

"We lost communication with the Major when the reached Sub-level 3. The last we heard from them they were under heavy attack and suffering severe casualties. I would suggest beginning your search there."

"Thank you Colonel, your advice is noted."

The lift stopped at level three. As the doors opened they could see the massacre that had taken place in the botanical gardens. The ground was red with blood and body parts were strewn all about. At the top of a small hill hundreds of Bug corpses could be seen, it was clearly where the commandos had made their last stand. Major Mabro's body was not accounted for and Invisus had to assume he was still alive, held captive on level 13. Just as they were about to return to the lift one of the Sith Marauder's was garbed by the feet and quickly pulled underground. The ground opened up all around them as Warrior Bugs spilled out from their tunnels. The remaining Marauder's ignited their sabers but Invisus ordered them to stand fast. As the wave of Bugs approached ever closer Invisus took his time building up a massive electrical charge in his hands. As Bugs got within 20 feet the Sith Lord raised his hands in front of his body and let loose a storm of force lightning the likes of which few have ever seen. The bolts ached from one Bug to the next. The barrage lasted a mere ten seconds but left nearly 200 of the beasts fried to a crisp. Still there were more, Invisus ignited his saber and the 4 sith charged into the fray. The Marauder's were brutal in their form, striking targets with full force and cutting them down one at a time. Invisus on the other hand was smooth and almost graceful as he spun, leapt, and and danced his saber though scores of bugs. He maintained a steady pace as he cut the enemy like in half down it's center leaving a swath of dead bugs in his wake. As the four reached the far end of the garden the Sith Lord ordered his followers to use their combined power to lift the remaining bugs into the air and form them into a tight ball. As they did, Invisus gathered as much dark side energy as he could and formed it into a massive ball of destructive power, he then released the bolt of Force Destruction at the last of the bugs, blasting them asunder, sending bits and pieces flying though the air, defeating the majority of the hive in one swift maneuver.

The next day the relocation of the Queen and her hive began. They would be set free along the equator where it was warmest. Once there they would dig new tunnels and chambers. They would have ample resources to maintain a functional hive on condition they did not grow past 100,000 in number and that would be willing to fight for Invisus should they be called upon.

Meanwhile Invisus had received a strong visions during during his morning meditation. Something from his past had been reborn, what it was he was unsure but he had to find out. He left control of the facility in the hands of his most trusted confidant, Dr. Eliza Halsey, and boarded his shuttle.
