Who: Johun Starfield vs. Panno. Where: Judge's choice. Rules: Every character detail is as shown in each fighter's profile
*Docking Bay #94, like all of the bays in Mos Eisley, consisted of an entrance ramp and a restraining wall that surrounds a shallow pit. Ohwun De Maal and his wife owned this bay along with several others nearby; this was where the Millennium Falcon was docked. The pit absorbed and deflected the blasts made when starships landed or took off. By law, ships with repulsorlifts were required to use them when entering and leaving the docking bays. The combatants are found standing at opposite ends of the landing bay. There are several small crates and fuel canisters in the otherwise empty landing bay. After ten posts, a YT-1300 freighter comes in to land, completely oblivious to the presence of our duelists.*

Johun entered the bay. He had been told his contact would meet him here. The Jedi Watch was looking into some abnormalities here on Tatooine, and this sentient was supposed to have information to help them in this matter. Johun was clothed in the traditional Jedi manner, brown outer robes, with hood over his head, green tunic, khaki pants, and brown boots. On his right hip, Vormuund hung, dormant for now, but ready when needed.

Tattooine. Homeworld of Luke Skywalker and home to swcret imperial testing. Panno was in charge of the security of said testing. He had heard that someone had been poking around trying to find out what was happening here. Hushed questions asked on dingy cantinas. It wasn't hard to fake an informant, someone involved with the project to meet the person. The real reason for being here was sinister. The Empire already had hunter killer viruses but this was on a whole other level. This would hunt out and destroy force users. Kill all who had an affinity for it. They were attempting to narrow down the Darksider traits. Then it would only kill them.
Of course he wouldn't be saying any of this. Walking into the hanger, Panno looked around. Hidden under his brown cloak was his armour. Forged himself it was the epiphany of perfection against force users. On his right breast Mac locked was the lightsaber which once belonged to Xeonon Solomon. On his back a sword forged on Aaragu. Walking into the middle of the hanger he looked around, it wasn't hard to spot him. A Jedi. Waving at him, Panno began to hobble over there. Over exaggerating a limp which he did not have. He had no idea what he was up against, but he knew that this Jedi would need to become one with the force. He needed to do it swiftly, and any way he could get an advantage he would take it.

Johun watched as the sentient responded to his wave. As a Jedi Watchman, Johun was constantly on guard. Since this meeting was in such a decrepit place such as the Mos Eisley space docks, Johun was even more so. While Johun didn't detect any outright ill thoughts or feelings coming from he being, Johun wasn't entirely trusting of him, nor completely convinced this wasn't a trap. This possibility had been in the back of Johun's mind ever since he learned of this meeting's location. Johun didn't detect any hidden beings waiting to spring a trap into action, so if one was coming, it was going to come from Johun's contact. Johun allowed the contact to approach him, rather than walking toward the contact. Johun noticed the limp, but he seemed to get along just fine. Once the contact was about 10 ft away, Johun spoke to him.
That's close enough. I am Johun Starfield, Jedi Watchman. I understand you have information for me.
Johun's right had habitually dropped to rest on top of Vormuund, should he be needed. Johun watched a waited, gauging the response he would receive.

Stopping when he was asked Panno silently cursed. This Jedi was to cautious and to smart to be fooled like that. Yes I seemed to have found something you may want to read. Reaching under his cloak slowly the Dressillians hood feel off to reveal his brown skin and a toothy grin. I'm just grabbing a datapad I took off a drunk. Which of course was true, he did slowly remove his hand to reveal a datapad, his own. It held all the data on it for the project. He was playing with fire, but it was worth the risk.
Holding it out with his right hand he cocked his head to the left. Think you could come and get it? My old leg wound is acting up and every step hurts. All a lie, he wanted to get closer before acting. Every muscle poised to move, he looked around cautiously. Not unlike one who was scared for his life, but in reality he was taking in his surroundings. Boxes, closeness to buildings. Sand. So much sand.

I can take if from there.
Johun lifted his left hand as if being handed something. He was of course using the Force to bring the datapad to him. It should be successful, as it was an inanimate object. The only way if wouldn't be is if this Dressellian, or at least that is what he looked to be, was also Force Sensitive and held the datapad back using the Force. Johun didn't detect a Force aura around him, but one could mask such things, if trained properly. Noticing what Johun took for nervousness in the being's movements, made Johun all the more untrusting...
A drunk you say? Why so nervous if it was only a drunk? Unless it wasn't just any drunk...

Imperials, someone tries to speak out or stop what they are doing and- Opening himself to the force he threw out his left hand as he began to run towards Johun, the limp still there for appearances sake. The sand had a habit of getting into everything, and everywhere. Including the landing pad. Using the force to kick up said sand he sprayed it in the direction of Johun. He hoped to blind him momentarily, as he closed the gap either from the sand cloud or if it got in his eyes.
The brown cloak falling off behind him, Panno stood out like a sore thumb. His blood red armour in stark contrast tothe muddy sandy browns around him. With his right hand he reached over his shoulder and pulled the sword out in front of him. Keeping the one handed grip on it, he slashed down from Johuns left shoulder down to the right hip. Hoping to score a light slash on the mans body, he went for speed over power.
If one was to look though this blade was different than most, it glowed slightly. A hue of ever changing colours sometimes the deepest blue, other times a brilliant yellow. The metal itself appeared cracked and scarred. If one was to touch the metal though the lightningbolt esquire markings were part of the blade. It was forged using an ancient Jedi technique used before the invention of lightsabers.

And then it came, the attack Johun had both expect and not expected at the same time. Johun had just enough time to ignite Vormund's icy blue blade and bring it up in a defensive position horizontally across his collarbones. Instinctively, Johun dropped his center of gravity by dropping his right foot back about 18 inches and slightly bending his knees. The sand sizzled as it struck the blade, and some did hit Johun in the face. His blinking reflex was fast enough to prevent any of the sand from actually hitting his corneas, but it would still distract and blind him for a moment. He didn't need to physically see, as he had the Force to guide him, but the distraction the sand provided would slow that down as well for a moment. Hopefully his defensive position would provide enough defense to allow him to collect himself once again.

The blade was fast enough to meet Pannos. For a second the two fought for superiority then he raked the blade across the lightsaber. Although usually a brittle material purified Cortosis was used in its making. Already masters of the trade when using the metal, Panno had spent days infusing the metal with the force making its bonds stronger, removing impurities and replacing it with strength. It was mixed with the wonder metal durasteel and as the two blades rubbed together the lightsaber would hopefully dissipate for a few seconds.
Just long enough for his blade to go down across the Jedis chest with the tip, and hopefully leaving a scratch. Regardless of the outcome the Imperial Knight pivoted the blade held at chest height. Spinning in a clock wise motion he lowered himself to a crouch and swung for Johuns left knee putting the momentum and weight of the blade behind it.

Cortosis. The bane of every lightsaber in existence. The superficial cut from the blade, after it short circuited Vormund's icy blue blade, was painful, as it tore Johun's flesh and tunic, blood-staining both. As his opponent rotated and crouched, Johun jumped straight up, pulling his legs up, to avoid Panno's follow up strike at his leg. While in air, Johun re-ignited Vormund's blade. Upon landing, Johun reestablished his defensive posture.

As his blade slashed through the tunic and skin like butter he smiled, knowing that the trick would only work once. He only needed once, but he thanked the gods that it did. Finishing the slash that missed his legs he stood back up and placed the blade back in its sheath. For a moment he thought he had missed the mark, but then he saw the red staining the Jedis chest and a mischievous smiled showed. Holding his hands out in front of him open plamed he crooked his head to the right. I am sorry Jedi, I have no hate for you and your order but you are to close and we are closer.
With that he twisted made his hands into fists and twisted his hands, with his mind outstretched. He figured the distance was about 10 feet away now, nothing special. Just enough to see the whole body of Johun, what Panno was trying to do was an ancient technique. Changed through the ages it persisted like the scab it was. Crucitorn. Effectively it made any pain infinity worse, any cut felt like a killing blow, a nick on your arm could feel like your arm was cut off.
Attacking the exposed nerve endings along the length of the cut that looked like it ran roughly from navel to mid chest Panno sneered as he twisted his hands. As he twisted and turned he did his damned to make his body feel the pain and exponentially amplify it. He hoped that the pain would be so sudden and dilberating that the Jedi would be unable to defend himself for a few moments. The little cut would feel as if it was a deep stab wound, slowly killing the Jedi if this worked.

The distinct whine of repulserlifts could be heard as Johun felt the incredible pain hit him. Ah Crucitorn, a talent Johun was trained in as well. Johun didn't use it on others, but rather himself, to prepare him to handle immense pain. Johun knew that at some point a Sith would cause him pain, so he had prepared his body for such. Trained how to think and function with pain. This being had chosen the wrong talent to use against the wrong Jedi. It hurt, but Johun had endured worse. Keeping Vormun ignited in his right hand, Johun reached out with his left hand and using the Force and Telekinesis, Johun threw a large fuel canister at his opponent. Looking up briefly Johun noticed a YT-1300 trying to land that apparently had no idea there was anything below it...

Well that was unexpected. Even as he twisted the Jedi stood there defiantly, apparently he had some real skills when it came to mental control. He would have stopped trying on his own but he saw the canister flying in from his right. The Dressilian changed his focus, worried that he may have gotten to cocky. As he stood there he waited and waited and waited. The canister was mere feet away from him before he moved. Twisting his body moving his left foot behind him, and the canister flew behind him landing in the hard packed sand with a thud heard even over the ship.
With his right hand he reached onto his pectoral and grabbed hold his own saber and ignited it. Thumbing the activator he was met with the familiar snap hiss as the curved silver blade extended from his handle. Stepping forward with the left he took another step bringing his handle up to his neck blade facing down and to his right. The third step and he was within striking range, twisting his wrist Pannos eyes glanced down to the left leg of Johun moments before the attack would be noticeable.

Johun slowly backed toward an exit from the bay, not wanting to be crushed by the landing freighter. Johun let the attack come, seeing his opponent come at him. at the last instant, Johun drove his right arm forward in a thrusting stabbing motion aimed at his opponent's right wrist, hoping to incapacitate, amputate, or at the very least cause his opponent to change his course of action. If not, Johun would probably be struck by his opponent's blade, but so should his opponent be by his. As he thrust his blade, Johun also threw his head forward in a headbutt. Johun wouldn't actually headbutt his opponent, but instead use Projected Fighting to use the Force to head butt his opponent. His aim was at what Johun assumed to be the bridge of his opponents nose. Hopefully stunning and possibly breaking his opponent's nose.

Ignoring the freighter as it landed, kicking up the grains of sand as it landed he could hear the tinking against his armour. The individual pieces stinging the back of his bald head as he went in for the attack. That was the perk of being an Imperial Knight, everything about you was honed to perfection. Your mind, your body even your combat. These armour covered knights trained day and night to become the efficient at one thing. Killing; specifically force users. As such their armour reflected their killer instincts.
Much the same as the blade Panno wore armour that was both resistant and harmful to lightsabers. The majority of the armour was made of durasteel, with phrick filaments over the important parts of the body. The gauntlets however were made of purified Cortosis. Much the same as the blade he carried on his back it would short the lightsaber out just long enough to do what was needed.
Adjusting his wrist ever so slightly so that the lightsaber would make contact with his armour he would presumably feel it for a microsecond before short circuiting the saber. Felling the crunch on his nose as it broke he could feel the copious amounts of blood rush down it warming his face. Tasting the copper tinge in his mouth almost right away his attack continued on through to the left leg unabated, unobstructed and its angle would bring it from just above the knee up slightly and to the left (Johuns right) presumably exiting just above the pelvis.

More Cortosis, Johun definitely hadn't prepared for this and had no answer. Johun expect the saber strike to hurt, but the endorphins that seemingly released into his bloodstream left him at peace. Johun fell onto his left side, now staring at his severed left leg. The smell of burnt flesh and bone hung thick in the air. Johun's right hand let go of Vormund, it's icy blue blade shorted out by the Cortosis gauntlet. This was his fate. This is where he would join Ashla. So be it. Johun closed his eyes, and let go. He let go of worries, stress, and pain. He let Ashla flow through his, ready for her to take him...

I think it's pretty clear that Panno wins this one. He controlled the momentum of the fight almost from the get-go, and also caused the most damage.
Johun: You did did what you could to counter Panno's unexpected advantages in the composition of his sword and his gauntlet, and I was most impressed by the fact that you didn't try to skirt the edges of legitimacy in an attempt to turn the tide. Very well done.
Panno: As mentioned above, you took the initiative and kept your momentum going well, and even without the sword I believe you would have carried the fight in the end. That said, the sword itself is a bit of a problem. Not only does it seem to be just as durable as any jedi katana or sith sword, but you also state that it's capable of shorting out a lightsaber in spite of the fact that it is an alloy, which in canon is not capable of doing such a thing. However, since Johun didn't bring it up as an issue and it didn't have a significant role in the end result of the fight, I'm not going to make an issue of it here. Just know that if you return in the future and wish to use it again, we may be taking a much closer look at that particular weapon and whether or not it can be used in official matches.
