Greetings from your friendly neighborhood Tusken Raider.
I have returned recently, coming back from a recent hiatus, and have already begun writing once more.
I am currently involved in a solo story that I am developing as I go along, and I am unsure where it will take me, but one idea keeps popping up in my head....I would very much like to take my character out into the stars. Though I know if I were to start a Tusken Empire out in the Universe, I would probably be banned, which is understandable, that is not what I am talking about.
I'm talking about getting Narty, by himself, off Tatooine for a good story with some good writers. I don't know where I should take him, and I was wondering if anyone had anything to add or offer. I am a bit out of touch with the community, and feel I should begin putting roots out in other places.
So if you want to make contact with a peaceful Tusken Shaman....hit me up. It might take me a while to get there, but that's why I'm going ahead and putting this thread up, to get ideas started. It will be a while before the story I'm writing, in which Narty is slowly gathering pieces for a hyperspace-capable ship, is completed. And I do plan on doing it as properly as I can, writing by myself or with anyone who wants to join in.

Well, to do so would require me to change deeply established cannon, as Tusken raiders being a nomadic and viscous people, killing and attacking all outsiders. I've been allowed to write and change this for one clan, the R'Crurak, even accepting Outsiders and making treaties with NPC clans of other Tuskens and Jawas, and to create an Empire the entire Ghorfa (Tusken) population would need to unite, get ships, take worlds, or at least establish settlements offworld.
Also, I would need several more writers to aid in this, if it were possible. One can't write an Empire by themselves.
I could do it, build an Empire, with help, but I don't think it'd make sense for the Tuskens to be a large presence in the Universe. More of a small blip on the radar.....
Unless people would like to see that....The next big story on JvS, Tusken Empire. lol....

Okay, just to kinda simplify what I'm looking for, I am going to change the Subject of the thread to a Muppet's reference, and add this.
When and if the R'Crurak clan, meaning pretty much only Nartaga, go out into the stars, they, meaning only Nartaga, will be in completely uncharted territory. The only experience that the R'Crurak have with Outsider Force Users is a few wandering Jedi that hardly count, a Jensaarai, and the Sith we all know and love....Jud'dayus. This and a few others, they are like baby deer venturing out into the meadow, and will probably get shot by every hunter who put the salt lick up. >.>
I would also like to ask if anyone is interested in helping me write the current build-up, to acquire inter-planetary hyperspace travel. I do have a few requirements, though its nothing special. And I will of be understanding and waive some of these given it is around Christmas and we all have families.
Could I get some more Tuskens? No? Oh well....
If you want to join in and start writing in the build-up, I only ask that you not post one-liners, be a bit descriptive, and be able to post at least every-other day. This is one of those ones that is probably gonna be temporarily waived because of Christmas. I would only like maybe one or two people, to keep things small, but this is going to be a long haul story. It will take a while. Please do not commit to anything if you plan on leaving JvS for a while, because I will move on without you.
Also, I am looking for a few factions. This means Jedi, Sith, Mando, Jensaarai, anyone who is and wants to make friends with possibly one of the most unknown species, speaking from an IC viewpoint. This means preferably groups of these faction-type writers. Maybe a Council of Jedi? A gaggle of Sith? A battali-...scratch that....Regiment....No bigger....DIVISION of Mandos! Who knows? But I would like some variety. This is basically going to be an interplanetary Tusken road trip, meeting new and exciting people. Learning how the Universe works from the eyes of someone completely new to it, having spent the last couple millenia on their own little dust-ball.
Then comes the Tusken Empire. ;)

A Tusken Empire? That makes no sense.
I thought tuskens were to be like Egyptians.
If anything, you should be RPing out the subtle romances between tuskens and bantha.
On a more silly note, I'd be willing to convince the Major to "assist" your merry Tusken band with completely legal supplies, purchased and handled with receipts for your Tusken accountant or goat equivalent. Need mandos? I'll get them. Some rouge Sith? I'll collect them. Want people with ADHD that are pretending to be Jedi in order to shift blame on the Chiss? I'll get them.
The price would be a measly IC tap to whatever you may doing. Yes, even in the bathroom. As you pointed out, tuskens are mysteriously mysterious.
The sciences could be amazing.

Well as I said I'm looking for some people to get involved with in the future. Find some stuff, learn about "Alien" Culture, and how it contrasts with the Tuskens'....Maybe start another war....Who knows? As I said this will be an interplanetary roadtrip for Narty. He's only been off-world once, which ended in him crashing and burning and nearly dying....The rest was in a void so I leave what actually happened to the imagination. 
And Major, the Egyptians had an Empire, so why can't we? XD No the Empire thing is a joke...unless people start to hop on board of that idea.... >.>
I'm working on getting a ship. I currently am in possession of a Bantha-class Assault Shuttle....pun intended, but its hyperdrive was removed. I'm actually hoping to get another ship, this one will probably be a one jump wonder though. That's what this SL that I am currently writing by myself is circling around.

Shoot and/or stabbing and/or murdering in general is not helping....Just to set that standard. Neither is maiming or injuring....depending on your stance towards Tuskens anyway,..

The objective here is pretty much what you mentioned earlier. Nobody knows much about tuskens. As an archeologist, it behooves me to learn more about such an old species.

Csillia is a just a miscalculated hyper jump away... though I'm not sure you'd enjoy the climate very much. Also, I can't claim to have a team, at least not yet, though I may soon be joined by a few writers. *crosses fingers* It'd be interesting to see how a Tusken reacts to being on an ice world.

Well Nartaga has been to Abyssissa, before it was archived. lol. I think..... >.> It was some ice planet. Not Hoth, I don't think, though. He did not enjoy it. Froze his choobies off.
@ Miras- What exactly did you have in mind?
Also I want to re-iterate that Nartaga will not be making the journey from Tatooine for a while. I update the story with a post every couple days, but it is something I want to do slowly, and not rush into.
