During the Galactic Civil War, the Separatist Parliament was housed on Raxus Secundus inside a massive building resembling a cathedral. The main floor of the Parliament building was a large open hall with a long rectangular dais spanning the full length, and around the perimeter, two tiers of three rows of benches each where the delegates of the CIS assembled. The vaulted ceiling is very far above the floor, giving the room a spectacular audio character, and windows located about two meters above the top tier of benches permit the sun to shine onto the dais, illuminating the otherwise-dark interior with a soft glow from Raxus' light. At opposite ends lengthwise on the dais from each other, the duelists prepare to engage.
