We all know that Coruscant was formerly the seat of power both on this site and in the the SW universe. However sadly on this site Coruscant has fallen a little by the way side.
So I am throwing this out here:
Any and all players who write in the temple sign up, because in short I went to get us all together and create some good stories and writing together.
The opportunities a planet Coruscant can provide for Jedi writers is I believe rather unique, not only is it the throne of the Galactic Republic where all the decisions are made,but it has a hundred levels and more, criminal elements, crime syndicates, cantina's bar's. The locations and variety the planet offers is a great sand box.
So hopefully we can all get together and we can embark on our first collaborative rp.
Feel free to pitch in and also let me know where you guys are at and the lay of the land. I don't want to tread on toes I just want Coruscant to get on the map and hopefully help build the rep of Coruscant.

I intend to RP my NPC Jedi Knight Jordan Halcyon as a Jedi assigned to Coruscant, but I do not expect to be very active with him right now, other than the one RP I am already doing with the Republic and Seleevan Khar.

I'm pretty sure the original plan with the whole new council new order magic thingy was to get a presence on Coruscant again.... although I'm not sure how in depth those plans got.....

Conflict always drive a storyline forwards. Perhaps the rising tensions with the Republic sparks some anti-Jedi movements on Coruscant, slowly turning into acts of terrorism and so on and so forth... leading our brave Jedi heroes to charge into the fray and investigate these saber-jockey haters and have them arrested before things got out of control.

What if the Jedi, in response to those anti-Jedi acts, were to launch a public relations campaiagn and go out and engage with the general population and their problems/conflicts/hardships?

Why does it not surprise me that this is exactly what you think of.......... it almost sounds familiar for some reason. haha |

I call the Coruscant temple home. I am also on the Council of First Knowledge which deals with the archives at all temples and acts as liaison to hand off missions to the Shadows.

You have my interest. Current rp at the moment? Oddly enough I had an idea in mind that would be suited to the Shadows. The idea is an investigation, in short a being is murdered, the body appears to have been killed by two lightsaber wounds. This hits the media and an investigation begins, the Jedi fall under scrutiny, blame pointed. So the Jedi dispatch a covert team to discover the truth, find that the wounds were not what killed the man......so what did? Also why this apparent nobody. Anywho it all unravels into a plot that is all linked together and leads to something darker. As to what I don't know because my brain didn't let me get that far. |
