Hello everyone. As the thread title says, I am new. I am a little list and would very much like some sort of direction, but I don't really know where to begin.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. I also don't mind being dragged into an RP.

First of all, welcome to the illustrious site JedivSith, or JvS for short.
With our site there are many directions one can take, as we tend to have characters of all makes and models. So it would entirely depend upon what you feel like writing as, say for example a Jedi Padawan coming into his powers and just starting his adventures with his master.
While that's just one of many examples of what your character could become, the freedom is yours to create what you wish, with some exceptions of course.

Thank you both for the welcome. I do have an idea. A force sensitive. Miraluka youngling. I wanted to try and start from the bottom, and try some student-teacher RP.

I see I've been beaten to it! Oh well. Demands of work and all. Welcome to JvS. What Liya said. In terms of Jedi, perhaps the easiest place to begin would be on Coruscant as we're in the process of trying to make it once again a center of Jedi activity. Myself and padawan will be there shortly. Lag: Miralukans are interesting in that they are generally blind, relying upon the Force to 'see.' I could be wrong, but I don't think we've had a Miralukan Jedi in some time.  |

You are correct. They are my favorite species within the SW universe. I like the thought of my character being in a situation where the Force does not assist and has to find a way to survive.
