Normally this was not how he wanted to leave the facilities that he destroyed. But, this man was far too powerful to just turn from. Even with all his training, he had a very good chance of dying. And he didn't plan on doing that for a long time. He had been through worse. ...or had he?
He pocketed both the saber and his pistol, grunting in temporary submission to the Zabrak. He walked by, shooting the Knight a glare before picking up his launcher. He continued walking until he reached Thea, where he set down the launcher and gently pulled her away from the wall. There wasn't any blood, but she must of hit pretty hard for her to just black out like that. Until someone could check her thoroughly, she was going to be alright, it seemed. She still had a pulse, that was something.
With a heave, he took her arm and slung her over his left shoulder, her legs in front. He picked up his launcher in his right hand, walking back to the Zabrak. "Hangar's through the lift." He said.

My Sister... Rides a Bull Rancor... She is heavily trained in lightsaber combat...
*Sinina frowned, it seemed far too quiet, and the camera's following them really felt eerie and unnerving. She didn't like it. She puts her saber away calmly and takes a deep breath. She draws instead the westar pistol hanging off her left hip. She held her breath and again calmly fires off one shot at each camera, hitting it right in the "eye" of its recording node. She then exhales slowly and resumed her normal breathing.*
My "foster father" did insist I know how to aim... not everything he taught was on diplomacy and leadership.
She bites her lip softly as she looks at Raven. She nods to the shorter woman.*
I don't like the feeling that we're being watched... I think this is the first time i've been in a lab...
*She frowns a moment as she looks back up the hall, she continued to nibble at her lip, not a nervous or scared way, just habitual. She returned her pistol to her hip again, ready to grab either saber or pistol quickly though. Her thoughts returning to Raven's proverbial storm, thinking to the Nightsister spell she'd cast, one which hadn't been the first she'd caused. It was a spell she'd caught on to far quicker and easier then any other thing she'd learned while with her mother on Dathomir.*
..Though... I know alot about storms. Those I have always had a knack for..

*It had taken relatively little time for the eerily-quiet lab to suddenly become unadulterated havoc. Security breaches, disturbances in the Force, lives being snuffed out by a handful of new presences that had found their way into this base. Soku was quick to suspect this to be the handiwork of the so-called "Rebels," but there was a certain peculiarity about the new presences entering the facility. Particularly, the fact that they were mostly Force-users seemingly spanning the entire spectrum of light and dark. It was bizarre, and almost fascinating, but it was also something else entirely:
Irritating.
Unfortunately, the pair of Knights were cut off from the information flow and they were forced to gain intel by their own means, whether it be by disrupting a tech long enough to demand a report. Whatever this project, whatever the worth of this facility, there was something larger at stake here: Pride. And Soku Ren, as a Sword of the First Order, would not allow the organization's name to become besmirched by a mere ragtag band of misfits.*
"Go towards the hangar," *he directed the Rodian.* "Cut off any stragglers. It will be easier if we cover more ground."
*Derel nodded, releasing his lightwhip from his belt as Soku made his own deeper into the facility. These intruders had to have a purpose for being here, and they likely knew what it held. Either they aimed to destroy it... or rescue it. Perhaps if he reached the heart of the facility first, he would be able to lay in wait and intercept them...*
----
*Even in an emergency, that guy couldn't "lower himself" to use contractions. Derel allowed himself a shake of his head as he made back towards the direction of the hangar. The purple-skinned Rodian had less of an attachment to pride or this facility, but nevertheless, intruders were intruders and his lightwhip was begging for a dance.
And it seemed that the time had come; two presences lurked just down the next corridor, one of them a sickening beacon of the light. No matter. He sneered to himself eagerly as the red energy coil sang to life, lashing out threateningly into the hallway as he turned, sparks from its points of contact illuminating the corridor before the whip returned to an idle position. Before him stood a rather diminutive human and what appeared to be an Echani, the former clutching her lightsaber, the other with a small assortment of different weapons to choose from.
He continued to sneer at his new targets, but offered no words. Derel Ren was not a fan of words.*

*Atton slowed the speeder bike as he approached the wreckage of the fourth tower. He had seen the direction that Adi had fallen after hitting it, so he quickly steered the bike and gunned the engines once more. He wasn't sure what exactly to expect upon finding the armor, or if there'd even be a body to retrieve. He had known Adi for all of a few hours and now he was gone, just like that. Such was the nature of battles and wars, but that didn't make it any less shocking. He could only imagine how the rest of the team felt, as they had known him for far longer..
Peering off into the distance through the HUD, Atton spotted something on the ground ahead of him. He stopped the bike, sighing as he saw Adi's wrecked armor suit. Hopping off the bike, he went in for a closer look, noting the front of the armor was totally trashed. What little hope he might have had at finding something to indicate that Adi had survived had been dashed at seeing the state his armor was in.*
"Damn it..."
*He couldn't take the armor with him, but he could at least make a note of its location so that when the mission was done, it could be retrieved by the Wayward Son.*
::I found the suit. It's pretty wrecked...I'll mark its location so we can pick it up when we're done here.:: *With that, Atton got back on the bike and turned it towards the base. He needed to rendezvous with the rest of the crew. Hopefully they were making some progress towards finding Anna...*

Faris sighed and closed his eyes. I understand your distrust Adieumus, but you must understand, on Alderaan, I never had contention with you. I was not simply following orders, but actively keeping you alive until your rescue party provided me the distraction necessary to ultimately dispatch Arkoth. My loyalties never rested on him. He shook his head. But I am only one man. He glanced toward the door, almost in expectation, but something seemed to slow down current events, and for that, Faris was grateful. Turning his gaze swiftly back to Adieumus, he let a small grin clip to his face. If it makes you feel any better, It was one of your surgeons at the RDMC for a few years. ahem- He cleared his throat, pulling on the collar of his lab coat and shaking his head. I assure you- After Anna is free, you never have to see me again- in any form, if you so choose. He gazed at the door again with a small sigh. I kept her secrets- those things I knew she would never speak to anyone, but was forced to tell anyway- I hid them, like I hid your arrival until I could no longer conceal it. When I take the form of someone else- I study, I learn everything about them. He slowly looked back to Adi and frowned seriously. Most of the time it's simple mechanics and behavior- but she was different. It felt wrong, to impersonate her somehow. Perhaps it was because she spoke to me. She knew I took her form. The was the only one, who ever knew I stole their identity. So after Alderaan, I kept an eye on her- and after the war, I followed her here. He closed his eyes, It's a long boring story, but I hope somehow, after this is over, she may come to forgive me, and maybe, just perhaps- you might also. Adi cocked his head as the doctor spoke. The initial shock of his compliance had worn off for the most part now...it was more returning to worrying about his team out there in the lab, fighting for their lives. He could feel it, the vast, unending darkness Antidar, the sheer, unbridled anger of Loki, the radiant light from Raven, the strength of the raging storm under Sinina's uncertain exterior, Atton's strength in the face of being left by himself in unknown territory...It showed how they were all pushing themselves to the limit. He HAD to get back out there, and stand with them. He had dragged them into this, it was his job to get them all out in one piece.
Maybe it was something akin to Stockholm Syndrome, maybe it was Adi's desire to ensure the safety of his team, but the shapeshifter was starting to make sense. His voice was so smooth, soothing....there was a quality in it that just seemed to calm Adi's frazzled nerves. It had done the same thing on New Alderaan as well, and Adi remembered it like it was yesterday. Maybe Faris spoke truth. Perhaps it was the same back then....that he was on Matango's side. Adi listened closely as Faris told of his connection to Anna, and started to understand why the Polydroxol was here. He, too, was determined to protect the seer, it would appear. If he was telling the truth, then he would understand what Adi was about to do.
"If you are speaking the truth, stop treating -my- wounds, and let's get a move on. We need to get her out of here. I have a ship overhead, and they are just waiting for a signal that we have her. Once we send that signal, we are out of here in under three minutes.
As for forgiveness? Helping me get her out of here would be a step in the right direction. You'll find that Anna has neither malice, nor the ability to hold a grudge, in her heart...at least when her mind isn't being invaded by interlopers and machines. A seer has no reason to hold a grudge. They know what your life holds, and if you are deserving of their respect before they even meet you. If you deserve her respect, it will be given. Now, can we get a move on? My friends are out there fighting, and probably think I am dead. I need to link back up with them, and help them. I can't very well do that sitting here, now can I?"
Matango stood, and reached out, finishing tearing the door from its moorings. He flung it to the side with barely a second thought, watching as it crashed into the wall twenty feet away. Extending his hands in front of him, he waited for the manacles that were sure to be applied.
"Let's get this over with. The sooner we get Anna out of here, the safer my Crew will be." Adi nodded toward the door, and pushed his hands further forward. It was apparent he was growing impatient. He knew that his friends were out there fighting, putting their lives on the line. Their team leader needed to be out there with them, and come hell or high water, he was going to be.

For the briefest of moments, the Knight struggled out of instinct before settling himself and attempting to breath evenly. This Zabrak was faster than anything that size he'd seen, or anticipated. Something else was at work here- something more powerful than he was prepared for. But it didn't matter. He knew- very well, beyond doubt, that this Zabrak would not be killing him. Kadish smiled slightly, catching his breath. Are you deaf, Zabrak? I just told you, this facility is doing more than augmenting her farsight- it is keeping her alive. If you shut it down- or dare I say, Blow it upHie eyes shifted to Dominic before placing themselves back on Loki, She will die. I mean- I can tell you how to shut down the programs. And I can find someone to show you how to shut down the subroutines- but if you are truly here to rescue her- you'd ultimately fail. Kadish blinked slightly as Loki attempted to penetrate his mind, but after a second, he relaxed, feeling a barricade form around his thoughts that not even this monstrosity could break. No one has corrupted her. She knows everything. She understands that I am a loyal follower- and you, are only a misguided creature, bent on self actualization. Trying to save someone who cannot- and does not, want to be saved. You're like- Like a Jedi. As he was speaking, his left palm had opened very slowly- and just as he spoke the word 'Jedi', he wrapped the cords of the force around his lightsaber, hidden away in one of Dominic's floppy scientist pockets- and pulled it free. The orange blade slipped to life and sailed at Loki's figure- from behind, given their positioning currently. If Loki stood where he was, the blade would probably penetrate his lower left side- away from kadish' body, should it actually reappear on the other side of it's target. The Knight had no intentions of being stabbed by his own blade. She also told me, that you will not kill me. So- do what you want. Fate has spoken against you!
Farris nodded in understanding at Adieumus' words. He doubted them- especially sense he'd really only been introduced to the vindictive side of the Seer, and she nearly killed him a few moments ago- but it was a nice jester from the former Jedi. He smiled subtly and shook his head, fasting Adieumus' hands together with restraints. I'd be more worried about you carrying a grudge, actually.
The Polydroxol reached up a hand and once more began clasping his throat. His facial structure shifted slightly and his skin darkened to a brown color again. Clearing his throat- his voice, while still having a strange persuasive quality about it, was much more grounded and governed a physical set of vocal folds, rather than his normal liquid, dynamic resonance. He shook his head with narrowed eyes as his door flew off the wall. You make a terrible prisoner. He muttered as Dr Noble led his patient down the hall. Instantly several camera eyes swiveled over to follow them. He spoke very softly.
I need you to listen very very carefully Adieumus. The commander has asked to see you- which is where I am taking you, as per, my job. After that I will be heading to Anna's chamber, where I will start deactivating security codes locking her down. If the commander suspects any deception within me- he'll change everything and lock me out of the system without hesitation. You must act accordingly.
They turned a corner- the hall ways strangely absent of anyone milling about. Most of the scientists had left, and those who hadn't were no where near them. Something of more importance to you- however, is the nature of the commander. He is- a very powerful man. If just my voice was enough to render you compliant- know that his will be all the more potent. This, is very important. He paused, pointing down at Adi's hidden saber hilt, still on the former Jedi's person. He doesn't know I've not disarmed you. When you see him- no matter what happens, no matter what you feel, it is imperative that you kill him, before he can speak one word to you. Is that clear? I may not be your enemy- but he most certainly is. His first word to you, may very well be the last one you hear and I'm very serious about that. They stopped walking just outside a common looking office door- and Dr Noble paused, putting a hand on Adieumus' shoulder. The action was not hostile- but such power resided in that hand, and his tone was unmistakable- after all, he was literally going against a Seer's prophecy, trying his best to not allow it to occur. Do you understand?
You're so...brave.
For a brief scattered moment, Atton's com gave him static, and then a strangely organic, yet computerized female voice chimed in his ear- seconds before at least 10 quick flying drones streaked for the man's location and untimely opened laser fire on him.
But bravery- alone, often leads to death....

Alora nodded slowly as Sinina began to open up a little more. Battle tended to do that to people. Those who were on your side, became more than a friend. There really wasn't a convenient name for it, but it almost rested between friend- and family. Raven was glad to see another side of the silent, nearly nervous woman and she hoped the Echani would find her confidence here. She listened to Sinina as she spoke about storms, and nodded slowly. Perhaps then- you might help play a role in taming this storm. It's starting to give me a headache. She smirked very slightly and relaxed when the cameras were- disabled. I've never been much good at blasters either. It's not because I spend all my time in a jedi office or anything- I've just always preferred close quarters. They both had skills that the other did not. The force was wise when it put them together. Raven though, was careful not to rely too heavily on Sinina- not because she belittled the other woman, but because she was not aware of Sinina's skills fully- and she did not want her to feel overwhelmed and outmatched with responsibility. Alora knew what that was like. I'm sure some science labs are alright- but the last time I was in one, there---She paused, seconds before the red tongue of a light whip lashed out at the opposite wall before them, sending sparks in all directions. The owner of said lightwhip stalked into their line of site, glaring at them....There wasn't a purple Rodian with a lightwhip in the hall. She dropped her shoulders, holding her saber loosely at her side, bordering on casual, and turned her small brown eyes over to the Rodian. Hi. I've never met a Knight of Ren before. You're one of those, right? That would be awkward if you weren't. Her arms and stance was rather relaxed, but her eyes focused on the creature, and her aura reached out in all directions, probing, searching, understanding the area without the aid of mortal eyes. Anyone practiced would know- though Alora seemed far too calm, she was absolutely aware of everything going on around them.

*Sin had bit her lip softly as Raven mentioned a headache. She thought to her breakdown during the jump, maybe some of the headache was her fault, but then she caught herself before letting her thoughts go to the other events that went wrong, now wasn't a time for it. They had a mission. She needed to stay focused on that.*
Blasters are handy to have sometimes..
*She relaxed again as they continued to talk about science labs, she hadn't really seen many, in fact this may have been the first. She was interrupted from her thoughts on it though as the sparks fly up from the familiar sight of a lightwhip, her mother used to use one. She remembered the sting of it well when learning about them, this one was not likely to be used in a training setting though. She cringed slightly at the remembrance of stings she'd gotten. She was confused by Raven's talking, this man didn't even say anything as he came into view. She doubted the Rodian would have much to say.
She may not be as good as her sister, nor as powerful as her mother, but there were traits they shared, impulsiveness, short tempers, and a very compelling need to be seen as strong and powerful, so far Sinina had fallen short with her failure during the jump, she wouldn't let it happen again. She pushed off with her back foot and started to dash forwards, she drew her Westar-34, in her left hand, and fired a quick burst of shots off across the Rodian's chest, having just lashed it out in a show of sparks he'd have to draw it up before blocking them. She wanted to close the distance before he was ready for it.

Adi walked along obediently, and listened carefully as Farris explained the plan. It seemed pretty sound, aside from the "I'm taking you to my leader" part. Maybe it was a necessary evil to keep things moving along, but it made Matango nervous, especially with the manacles on his wrists keeping his hands contained. The Polydroxyl's voice was serious, and that could mean one of two things. One-He actually was speaking true, and meant what he was saying, or two-He could just be trying to take out the base commander, for fear of what the man might say about the operations here, and Farris' actual involvement.
Either way, Adi didn't kill someone without letting them speak. That much was already apparent, so the final request would have to be....denied. But Adi wasn't going to let Farris know that...not yet.
"Ok. I'll agree to this, only because you seem to want to truly help Anna. I swear, though, you double cross me? You won't leave this place alive like you did on New Alderaan. I'll see to it myself if it kills me...and as you can probably tell from my little stunt with the turbolaser, I don't much care if I live or die anymore. Keep that in mind."
As serious as Farris' tone was, Adi's was that and more. He meant what he said. If Farris was legit, Adi would consider the 'forgiveness' thing. Otherwise? The shapeshifer would be just another corpse left here for the worms. Anna was far too important to Adi to risk someone trying to interfere with her rescue. His crew meant too much to him to have even a single one harmed because this guy was being intentionally misleading.
He would have to see what this 'Commander' had to say. Words were not to be feared....actions were...And Adi was quite capable of handling any action that anyone in this facility could possibly throw his way.

The sight he beheld was, altogether, nothing short of disappointing. Perhaps it had been due to the fact his trip to that point had been seemingly unhindered. Questionably, in nature, given the amount of corpses and injuries he'd left in his wake. But it was simple in his mind to say the very least. As such, looking up on the large and rather gaudy circular door in front of him he could only feel a twinge of frustration filled disappointment. Anticlimactic for the use of a far more complex term. It was like any other door of it's kind he had seen in the span of his travels. Highly technical, and streaming with self regulated defense protocols. It was almost a like trying to establish a steady lift speed in a practice craft on a hangar test relay. He couldn't help but shake his head and step towards the door, lifting a hand to the cold metal to feel his way through the various terminals and wires until he found the core of it's receptors. Nothing was keeping this door locked between he and his prize that he could not handle with a bit of Force, but something told him that he should exert some restraint. And it was that very notion that he had been prepared for as he stepped back and muttered into the commlink a string of words that only the Intelligence in his gauntlet could hear or understand. A garbled language he expected none to understand, and even fewer to wish to hear as he stepped back and moved towards the terminal at the side of the door, pulsing in the Force with an almost unsettling response to something living at the center of its' relay.
Lifting his gauntleted arm, he latched his fingers against the mechanism and gave a light push. With a sound almost similar to a crunch, several clicks sounded and the voice in his ear began to form a string of protocols as it dug into the program of the door. He was not concerned with the fact that Anna was likely at the center of the programming he sought to falter, and as he settled to let the AI do her work, he stopped briefly in his mind to dispose of a pair of soldiers who had happened upon him from another angle of the corridor. Their bodies sufficing as a rather unpleasant painting against the wall as he slowly returned his attention to the remote circuit and to the task at hand.
::Reversing security protocols. Disabling interior defense systems. Neutralizing detection software. Time to completion: Thirty seconds.:: It was like music to his ears as he looked towards the door and used the Force to push through the wall before him and feel around the room for what beings remained inside. Only to be met with a chilling emptiness surrounding a pulse of life that seemed barely alive.
::Task complete. Initiating automatic reboot protocols, system set to initiate defensives upon assessment and termination of contact. Command Alpha set. Proceed.:: With a hiss and several loud clanks and screeches the door began to move. The bearings groaned and in a matter of moments, and a cloud of metallic haze, he could see the interior of the lab and everything that he knew it was likely to hold. Stepping through the door and listening to it close behind him he slowly approached the chamber, The Array as he had heard the system refer to it, and, with an almost eerie smirk on his face, waited for the being within to realize just what was happening.

Reaching out his hand toward the door, Argon Noble hesitated, as if forgetting something, and turned about to face the Arkanian. Sorry. You might find those restraints cumbersome. The middle loop isn't ...actually linked. It's a very realistic magnetic clasp. Just yank on it and your hands will be free again. He sighed slightly, having the distinct inkling that the former jedi would not heed his warning. No- from what he knew of Adieumus Matango, he'd give the fiend a chance to explain himself- and normally that would be alright. The Polydroxal supposed there was still so much Jedi left over in the Arkanian to battle against logically. And- The Array had predicted such a devastating event.
If only someone else had of fallen out of the sky. Adieumus. What ever you choose to do with what information you have- Remember who you are. Absolutely out of context, and a very real coincidence, the Polydroxals last words to Matango, closely mirrored Raven Aloras, seconds before the armored Arkanian leaped into the waiting arms of a turbolaser. With a heavy sigh- probably conveying more stress than the former Jedi had ever seen Farris display, the doctor opened the door- nodded curtly toward the commander inside- gave Adi a light shove, and closed the door behind him without another word.
And Adi was alone- soon to be without a single ally on the entire floor of the facility.
The man, setting at a computer console- having turned upon the door's opening, did not look very threatening. A metallic, cybernetic hand clasped the arm of a hover chair. The gray waterfall of a robe cascaded over where his legs should be, and the same- bland gray fabric covered his head, showing only his nose and mouth in his current position. But what might stand out to the Arkanian captive would be the man's right hand- the organic one, with its fore clawed digits motioning for Adieumus to approach him. Adieumus- I apologize at the timing of our meeting- but this, Array seems to have developed- a temper. The man paused, tilting his head- the red glow of a cybernetic eye could briefly be seen peaking from under the hood. I have to say though- You've looked better... but then again, A light cough rippled from the figure. So have I...
It's been a long time.
After the not so long and tedious process of demolishing the very carefully built security defenses, the big awesome shiny round door finally opened with reluctance. Within the chamber, The Array remained absolutely motionless, as if concentrated heavily on something. But, upon the door closing again, with a resounding finality to the action, the figure slowly relaxed. One hand clinched tightly, started to uncoil its fingers, releasing a thin stream of blood which the capsule's fluid immediately dissipated. The Array almost seemed to sigh, as if at the end of a tenuous struggle. Her closed eyelids twitched slightly, and a localized female voice resonated throughout the room's com system.
I am the Anomaly Notification Neural Array. Your AI has disabled security and defense protocols. State the nature of this intrusion.
Monotone, but her initial posture showed she did put up a conscious fight against the superior AI. But any unease at being defenseless was not apparent in The Array's tone, or physical stance. The question of whether she could even access natural human emotions was always up for debate- even though she'd shown evidence of being annoyed, and even insulted recently. Right now though, The Array looked like a very fragile shell, through which massive amounts of data streamed and originated from.

*A wisecracking Jedi... that was familiar. Were all of them like this? They seemed quite common, but that only made it all the more satisfying when they were brought down a peg or two. The Rodian's sneer intensified, even as the companion had already begun to act, drawing a pistol and firing a handful of blasts aimed at Derel's torso.
Perhaps she thought she was clever, assuming he would have to block the blasts with his whip and create an opening for her. But not to be prepared for such a scenario was foolish. As the shots flew, his empty hand already was lifting, palm open as he intercepted the bolts, absorbing them into his being. His right hand drew back as he did so, preparing another strike. His arm came down, and the lengthy strand of red energy again lashed out into the hallway, scraping the corner where the ceiling and walls met, raining sparks down as the lash fell diagonally within the path of the approaching Echani.
The dance had begun.*

Upon first inspection it was simple, in the complex arrangement of the lab, to focus on the centerpiece. An almost boring aspect to a much more intricate algorithm, yet one that maintained a much greater purpose in the entirety of the room he had just established his presence in. Which was all the more pertinent as the Array spoke to him, albeit it gave him nothing short of a cold reception with it's seeming inability to express more than a monotone emotion. However, he could feel the irritation and annoyance pulsing from the prone form within the chamber as he approached the console nearest to her prison making for a mildly less bland tone. And even as the voice spoke to him his attention hardly drew away from the complex arrangement of consoles and machines that seemed to be sustaining their prisoner, his focus on something far greater than the notably neutral response of a neutralized psychic apparatus. Something he could make short work of once he'd found the motivation. A motivation that was hardly warranted in the sight of what the facility had presented him.
Were they trying to impress him they were failing paramountly. And it was that very notion that made approaching the computer near the array a simpler feat than trying to contemplate the new voice that was ringing out into his ear from the speaker tucked behind his ear. He knew why he was there, knew the intent he would be required to employ, and yet he chose to go about it slowly; almost agonizingly. Though this girl appeared to be a prisoner, the machine sounded to present the idea that it had made her docile. An idea that brought an almost uncharacteristic grimace to his face before he wiped it away emotionally and stretched his fingers over the console. This being wasn't worth his words, least not the identity it created for itself, and his time had already begun to grow thin.
::Prepping for integration. Initiate operation, protocols set to engage emergency destabilization.:: The voice echoed from the comm as he stood closer to the Array than he had when first arriving, and while he knew the Array would hear he knew it was barely time for it to defend itself as he proceeded to plug his gauntlet into the console as he had done the door. An action that he knew would take far longer. Long enough that he stepped away from the console while his companion worked at the internal workings of the machine, and turned to gaze at the prone and almost lifeless form within it's cocoon like housing.
"Were I to explain myself, I would be wasting my breath," he breathed as he glanced towards the console and back to the machine before him. Ariela's voice whispered into his ear now, her volume reduced to a near silent hum, yet his attention remained on the Array. It was only a matter of time before the system was destabilized and the chamber drained. But he would have to pass the time until that had been accomplished. In the mean time he would humor the numbed girl for the sake of establishing a less tiresome engagement.

Loki’s patience was drawing thin as the Knight talked at him rather than to him. Loki sighed heavily, his grip slackening, on Kadish’s throat. Suddenly a ripple in the force alerted to Loki to what Kadish was doing, but a moment to late, as the Saber hit Loki’s side his eyes widening a moment, it was graze and caused minimal damage, but now. Now Loki was angry. In the same instant the orange blade grazed him Loki released Kadish’s throat and one of his massive leg’s shot out and kicked full force at Kadish’s chest, while Loki moved forward. He looked at Kadish as he slammed into a wall and slid down, leaving a dent in the wall, Loki lit his saber once more this time it was the single blade curved hilt, with a black blade.
“I am formerly known as Lord Loki, Dark Lord of the Sith. I have fought more battles than you can imagine, I have killed Jedi of immeasurable, and my fellow Sith. I am not one of you weakling knights who cling to the shards of a long dead ideal!” Loki roared at the man, who was now against slumped against a wall. “Now, you listen. I was sent here by fate you dotard. I am here because fate has brought me.” Loki said at a normal level. “And nothing you, or whatever you have done to Anna, can change that. For Anna is but a conduit for fate…And fate has brought you here, and I here at the same time.” Loki mused his lip curling, revealing his sharp incisor. “Now.. Tell me everything you know. Or I will remove a limb, for every time you refuse.” Loki said darkly, holding up his free hand, the knight slid up the wall almost in a cross like pose, Loki took another step forward. “Now…which one to start with?” Loki sneered at the knight and pointed his saber at all four limbs…”I think this one..The right arm first.” With that Loki brought his saber up, but not fast, not at all fast and slowly sunk it into the flesh near the elbow, slowly going down, until with a thud the arm fell to a floor. “Now talk or I remove another limb…” Loki said stepping back and smiling maliciously.

A snarl escaped the Arkanian's lips as his icy blue eyes fell upon the very individual that had caused him the tremendous pain some five years ago. The very person responsible for tearing Adieumus Matango's will to pieces was now sitting in front of him...albeit a bit altered. So, it was this guy that had been pulling the strings all along here. Truthfully, Adi wasn't as surprised as he thought he should be....this was something right up this monster's alley.
What had started so long ago would now be finished....once and for all.
What felt like a stiff breeze began to whip around Adi, and his eyes narrowed. "You. You have no idea the amount of pain you caused me." Crackles of blue lightning began cascading in random bursts around Adieumus. Without warning, a massive golden aura erupted around him, sending the furniture that had been nearby in all directions. The snarl on his lips curled into a wicked smile as the restraints that had been holding his wrists simply disintegrated. "Remember this, Arkoth?? This is the very ability that brought you to your knees in fear...Fear of a simple Jedi Knight. I am no longer a Jedi....and I am most -certainly- no longer a KNIGHT!" As he spoke the last word, Adieumus simply exploded in power, sending the golden aura out in all directions around him for almost ten feet...
If Arkoth wasn't aware, Adi was sort of pissed off.
"I may have been able to deal with you just coming after me. Might have even chalked it up to a learning experience. But you have crossed the line, villain. Anna is not yours to keep, nor is she yours to control. Only Fate has permission for that." As suddenly as the aura had risen, it fell again....but in that same moment, Matango burst forward, grabbing one of the small chrome devices from his weapon belt...which, strangely enough, no one had bothered to remove. Tossing it at Arkoth, the small sphere shot toward the man, and burst not a foot away. This was an EMP detonator, one designed to take out active electronics in a ten square meter area. Unless he had some kind of shielding, the cyborg torturer's robotic parts could fall victim to the electromagnetic pulse.
The aura burst that looked like Adi was about to use AngelFire was not an attack, but a signal. Anyone who knew Adi's force signature, his aura, would immediately know that he was alive and well, not to mention prepping for something big.
As long as the EMP pulse device did its job, Adi continued forward until he was standing right in front of his adversary. He made a move with his right hand to grab the man up by his throat, and slam him to the ground, and land on top of him. Visible wisps of golden energy began to pool and swirl around Adi's left hand, which was drawn up behind him, appearing as if it was getting ready to land one massive blow, one sure to finish the weakened and broken creature of darkness with ease.
"Any final words, you insufferable bastard?"

Anna's figure flinched as the intruder thrust his gauntlet into the control panel, releasing the foreign AI into the Array's system. She seemed not to pay much attention to his response, but after a few moments, the figure in the capsule stiffened. Her hands clinched again and her eyelids squeezed tighter. The voice came again.
Halt your current action. Remove the hostile entity from the mainframe or it will be destroyed.
After a few seconds of the warning, Anna's mouth opened slightly and her body shuttered. Apparently, the systems fighting within her mind was taking a tole on her physically. Thin streaks of blood floated out of her mouth and nose before vanishing in the liquid surrounding her, and the now visible blood vessels branching around her bare head seemed to intensify in color. The struggle was very real.
Security locks failing. Initiating systematic physical release.
Mechanical arms lifted from the floor, clasping the top portion of the capsule as the catch released it from the ceiling. After a few minutes of lowering, the capsule was horizontal and fluid began to drain from it into the floor. after two thirds of the fluid had been drained, the capsule's glassy side rotated, opening up into a half cylinder, cradling the clinched, flinching form of Anna within a shallow pool of liquid.
System shut down unavoidable. Psychic, neurological links closing off. Initial telepathic release.
The screens went blank. Anna's body stopped shaking and withered into the capsule. Her mouth suddenly opened and she took in several greedy gulps of air, causing her to choke on what often kept people alive. She began to cough, jolting with each convulsion. Her eyes flew wide and darted around the room, finally landing hard on Antidar.
You..... You're... not...... suppose..... to be .... here.......yet....
The Seer gasped desperately.
The Arkanian did not smile. He simply watched as the former Jedi shouted at him, claiming he had no idea the pain he'd caused him. This did gain a thin smile to tug at Arkoth's lips and he shook his head, even as the energy swirled around Matango and he asked if Arkoth remembered.
How could I forget?
The man said, lifting a hand to cover his eye, as the light in the room suddenly skyrocketed and furniture went flying. He seemed rather unimpressed- until the EMP burst. Apparently the man wasn't even unarmed. A muffled startled cry came from the man as the arm he'd lifted fell limply to his side and a strong cough rattled through him.
Then Matango's hand was around his throat and Arkoth found himself on the ground, underneath a massive fist flaring with energy. In the motions, his hood flew back, revealing what remained of the man's face. A good third of his face was completely metal and cybernetics-now inactive. Only one side of his head still had hair, which was still straight and white as ever. But the other side of his face had been burned almost beyond recognition. More serious scaring would mar the man's frail body under his robe, and both the Arkanian's legs were now useless cybernetics. his one good eye blinked its blackened, leathery eyelid and Arkoth coughed again.
I'm not that hard to kill, anymore Adieumus. I wouldn't waste the energy on me, if I were you.
He coughed again, this time blood appearing at the corners of his mouth. You've already taken a lung off line. I forget what else is machinery now. It's been so long.
A thin smile crept to his face and he sighed with effort. But even like this- I managed to, not only capture Fate....but make it work for me.

Dominion was bent over, grabbing Thea's arm to hold her over his shoulder, when his pocket tugged back in their direction. He felt the saber fly out of his pocket as he stood up with Thea over his shoulder, brandishing the launcher in one hand towards the large Zabrak and the Knight, his finger on the trigger. He held it there for a few seconds longer until he saw that the Zabrak wasn't harmed too bad, and still had control on the Knight.
No matter how strong in the force someone was, a surprise attack from behind was always a way to get them killed. The Agent would apply that logic to the present time and pull the trigger that would launch a grenade to destroy this entire hallway, and the Zabrak with it. But, it was slower than the speed of sound which, combined with the force, would alert the Zabrak. With how much force coming off of him, he knew that it would stop pretty fast. Better to be safe and alive and get out of this the hard way than get a grenade thrown at him.
He lowered the weapon and shifted Thea to a better spot on his shoulder, before walking to the Zabrak, who was in progress of cutting off one of the Knight's arms to get answers. "I don't know what he'll give you or what you know already, but Anna is back the way you came. Big blue door, sealed with a bunch of locks. There's also a scientist in there that is very protective of Anna. Should be easy enough to kill though." He shrugged with those last two words. "She seems to want to leave. At least, when I was talking to her it seemed that way. The system she is hooked up to is taking over the most of her mind, but there is still a part of her wanting to leave." He walked past the Zabrak, towards the lift. "You can have that problem, I'll secure the Hanger."
He would have liked to end the Knight's life himself, but know it seemed worthless to take the life. He was being tortured, pinned against a wall with a mountain of a Alien baring down on him, slicing into his body with a lightsaber.

The Knight flew back, careening into the wall with a thud. For a moment, the dazed man closed his eyes, gasping briefly before allowing himself to relax- within seconds regaining control of his breathing. Obviously the impact had stunned him, but he would be fine. He knew it. What ever this Zabrak said about Fate may be true- but Loki did not know the end game- and, Kadish did.
Seconds after his settled realization, his body was jerked up the wall and stretched out as the alien approached him, black blade lit. He listened as Loki taunted him- threatening him with removing his limbs one by one. It really didn't matter. I can tell you all I know.... and you still can't stop The Array. His words of absolute defiance were ended by a shout of agony, as saber met flesh and began its work of cauterizing vessel and vain. The man's breath came out in puffing blows as his arm fell to the floor. A few seconds passed before his breathing calmed again and he spoke- surprisingly calm, yet still with that immortal edge to his voice. The machine part of The Array, is an assortment of biomechanical relays. Like the ones in cybernetics. Except these don't translate brain function to a limb or eye- but to an imaging, data collection grid. His eyes traveled to Dominic as the agent began to speak. Kadish nodded as much as the force hold would allow and continued. He's telling the truth. But- understand, taking the physical part of The Array- uh, Anna, out of the machine, would be like yanking out someone's cybernetic eye. The initial neural recoil would damage her brain, and with how many relays are connected to her- the damage would be catastrophic and, irreversible. He clinched his teeth- his voice becoming just a bit more heated as he finished. And- Even if you did manage to end up with more than a breathing vegetable of a girl- After you tore her out of the matrix, her internal organic functions would start failing almost immediately. The Machine isn't just operating The Array- It's operating Anna as well. Without it- she cannot survive, in any form. He sighed and closed his eyes, waiting on his words to hit the brick wall the Zabrak truly was. He'd told the being at least three times that removing Anna from The Array would kill her, and each time he was absolutely ignored. The best you can do is shut down the program first- before--- He hesitated, blinking rapidly and glancing around the room. Every camera's power light stopped flashing for a brief second, before starting back up again, on what seemed to be a predictable swivel, no longer avoiding Dominic, or following their own individual paths as they normally did. Kadish' breath caught in his throat and he suddenly looked very disturbed- but not at the Zabrak holding a saber to his next appendage. The Array..... it's.... silent. Through the force, Loki would feel the man start to struggle, even though he'd been rather compliant before. Let me go! I have to see what has happened! I must defend The Array!
Also within the force, Loki would certainly feel a sudden flux of free energy, like the thing which held those invasive tethers of the force, was suddenly destroyed. More than that, a completely new life sign would flare in the force, before weekly pulsating faintly- especially against the massive energetic burst from Adieumus- but it was there... steady- alive- and free.

Well that proved it. Raven had heard stories of the Knights being trained to not only block blaster fire, but actually absorb or even freeze it in mid air. She thought about commenting on the feet, but his next attack- she felt, might have gotten just a bit too close to Sinina, and the Jedi was not about to let someone else fight the battle for her. Besides, he was out numbered. Closing her eyes, and finding her center, the Jedi Master opened a part of her which had remained closed for quite a while. She was- by no means, unpracticed. Decades of having the importance of practice literally beaten into her had kept her on top of things like force techniques, diplomacy and contrary to popular belief- combat. And it helped that her adversary was longing to a fight. Focusing on the foe before her- she watched in what felt like slow motion, as the lightwhip arched upward, about to lash out at a slanted course for the other side of the hall. And that was her opening. Pushing off the floor, the small Jedi Master allowed the force to push her forward, delivering her with swiftness, under the lightwhip's angled dissent. She was now only centimeters from the Rodian's side, and her saber was much longer than that distance. With a quick upper cut, she made to catch the Knight's wrist with her saber, in passing. Using her continuing momentum, she planted her foot, leaped off the ground and pivoted tightly in the air. She brought her saber round and angled it downward- attempting to use gravity to help plunge the blade into the Rodian's back. It felt good to use Ataru again. Training simulations were one thing, but there wasn't anything like jumping around a much taller opponent with a lightsaber.

*Sin had frowned as the man made her shots disappear, that was unexpected for her, she'd never seen that when she'd trained with her mother who had used a lightwhip. She didn't have time to dwell on it as the whip sprung into action arching through the air. She let out a soft gasp as she dropped the blaster, to put her arm under her as she drops back to slide feet first under his whips swing, watching it sail overtop of her as her momentum carried her along. After the whip had passed, she used her hand under her to push up off of the floor with, again, using momentum to propel herself upward.*
The girl thought to comment on his trick, but she had to stay focused, the dance was in motion, She see's Raven move faster then she'd expected, not that she had doubted the Jedi, just was surprised. She watched as Raven went for the whip, so Sinina ducked down to the opposite side, her moves graceful and fluid, as though she danced through the duel, she brought her palm upward just below the armpit attacking the pressure points to give Raven openings. The young firedancer, quickly ducks back and away to weave her way for her next strike, hoping to get in behind the Rodian.*
