As the title of this topic suggests I am actively recruiting for new members to join the Perses Project. With the crash last year the momentum of the storyline was damaged severely and has not recovered. The project has lost its leader, many of its members, and unfortunately with the fall of the Sith Empire it has lost the very reason for it to exist, IC at least. However the reasons for this project was not to find the Sith Empire, but rather to promote RP for both my Organization and the site as a whole. It's also a way for you to add some excitement to your character's story which I will explain later. I will be upfront with you however, this is not a selfless attempt to better the site, I intend to use this storyline to gain a foothold in the larger picture and gain intelligence where I can. Now onto what I'm looking for.
First and foremost what I'm looking for is volunteers. I don't care how many sign up, the more the merrier. I don't care what you do in the universe or what you are, non-force, force user, droid, human, alien, combatant, non-combatant, it doesn't matter. As I've said, what my main interest is is that I create RP, and not only for my Organization but for the site as well.
With the disappearance of the project's former leader I'm also looking for a "Commander Shepard" of sorts. This can be either a current member of the project or a new face, I don't really care which so long as the person leading is the most qualified IC and is willing to drive the story OOC. I will select from all who are willing to do the job, however I would like everyone to complete a Dossier in the format below in order for me to get a better idea of what your character brings to the table, you can find examples here. You will be given an overall main objective that will serve as the backbone of the story, but to achieve that mission you will likely have several other side missions to complete. Be warned however, some of what I have in store may make this a one way trip for some of you (that isn't a guarantee though so I stress the "may") so if you want to make a new character then feel free to do so, but I would like everyone involved to consider this a blue light storyline regardless of your current traffic light.
Once I've gathered a list of dossiers that display talents across the board I will select a leader and bring everyone into my Organization under the guise of whatever mission you are to be sent on. Through the main mission and side missions that you'll be sent on you will gain a loyalty to my Organization, and thus a loyalty to each other to see that the mission is done. This is not to say that the mission will not be of importance, but it will serve a dual purpose as it is not the primary focus of this project OOC.
The crew will be provided with a ship, a modified CR90, that will serve as your mobile base, the deckplans are undergoing some remodeling however I will outline changes below until such time as I can complete the renovations. You will also be provided with everything you need: weapons, transportation, information, credits, crew to man the ship, droids, whatever you want really. And of course to protect my investment I will be sending an operative of my own, Isabelle Eoura.
Lvl 1: CO's Suite

Lvl 3:
The Captain's Office/Cabin will be the Organization overseer's office and quarters.
The Exec's Cabin will become the Security Office.
The Comm's Pod will become the armory, the door will be removed, and it will be accessible through the Security Office.
The Offices will become the Brig.
The Conference Room will become the ships Main Communications Hub, the room itself will not change, its purpose will just become greater.
The Deck Chief's Office will obviously be used for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Lvl 4:
The Chapel/Comm will still be used as a Chapel for those who are the religious sort, but it's main function will be for ship's psychologist.
Lvl 5:
Cargo bay will become a training facility that includes a shooting range, fitness room, and sparring area. This may be added to depending on preference.
Lvl 6:
There will be alternative plans for Level 6 as well.
Your choice of landing craft will be provided.
The total crew number will be 70-75 this will include the commanding officer, my overseer, the main crew, non-essential personnel, and NPCs. Non-combative personnel will include the following positions, I would like for them to be PCs however if there are willing members to NPC these positions they they are welcome to. The remaining crew are for use as the proverbial "red shirts" of this storyline, they are expendable.

I do not expect the entire ship to be filled with PCs, that is an unrealistic expectation, however I would like as many as possible and still be able to work on a solid SL, too many and we may falter, too few and we may never leave the ground.
In my opinion this cannot go wrong, there are positives in any direction you look at it. There is excitement in the fact that there is real danger to your character. There is also the opportunity to make a real working crew/writing team. And if all goes according to plan my Organization will either gain a very powerful group of allies or just as well we will gain a new enemy to bolster RP. I feel like this could be a very fun and positive RP experience for all those involved. And who knows, if all goes well there could be a sequel...so to speak.
