He nudges her slightly with his shoulder.
-Z'har Go ahead & laugh. Did you expect me to be the child of some warlord or emperor? As for my siblings, I just have glimpse of faces, nothing more.

Ael replied by gently stroking the side of his face nearest to her with the back of her hand. "Perhaps? I am not sure. You seem to be very solidly 'you' and it is hard to imagine a little Z'har running around." She smiled at the mental hologram that created.

-Z'har So instead of growing up a spoiled princeling or a rustic farm boy, I just sprang fully formed out of the void as a crotchety old man with a fleet at his back? I suppose that is a step up, somewhat. Maybe.
Somewhere in another universe, a writer laughs softly.

Somewhere in that same universe, another writer is shocked at the breaking of the fourth wall.
"That is not precisely what I meant to imply, but I suppose it could be interpreted that way," Jade replied with a fond smile and a squeeze of his hand, "but, you have to admit, it is a little different. You always seem so in control. Anyway, are you saying you like the idea of little Z'hars running around in the universe?"

Having biological children was not something that had crossed Z'har's mind before this. However the phrasing of the question seemed to be asking that. A long moment of pondering later, he came to the conclusion that he didn't really object to the the thought. At first glance it would be impossible with his current state. However, he was not the Governor of Kamino for nearly three decades for nothing. He did retain enough sample & data on his own genetic structure that he could make it possible. After all, those same samples have been the source of his 'son' Marcos. After his accident as well, the samples had been the basis of many early tests.
-Z'har I can't say it has really crossed my mind before this. Now that it has, the idea of true children, done the old fashioned way, does have some appeal.

"Oh it does, does it?" Ael riposted with a real honest-to-goodness laugh. She leaned back lazily, clasping her fingers behind her head as she eyed him with a wicked gleam in her emerald eyes. The question had been posed in a vague teasing way earlier, but he had answered more the subliminal curiosity underneath the surface. The Jedi had been wondering what he thought of the idea, but she hadn't asked outright. His answer was amusing.
However, the reality of the issue did deepen the seriousness of the conversation. She hadn't even thought of children in decades. Her only experience with being a mother had been extremely negative, and she had no idea if she would ever be ready for that again. She pillowed her head against her arm, leaning into the back of the couch they were sitting on, her other arm dropped limply at her side as she watched him.

-Z'har Well, there are benefits of raising children.
Z'har smiles as Jade laughs beside him. True, Marcos hadn't turned out the best, but Aya was truly after his own heart.
-Z'har Hmm, is it your turn to ask a question, or is it mine?

"That is a question all on its own, Z'har," she pointed out dryly, "though I will be generous and allow you one more question since you are the spirit of politeness personified," as she reached over and poked him in the side.

Due to the rather sedate pace of their conversation & the detail in which it was covered, the intercom on the ship chimed lightly.
-Intercom We will be docking at the transfer station in twenty minute. Please begin making your way back to your seats for docking.
After a bit of waiting, followed by a rather ordered departure. The two found themselves in one of the large concourse hallways that encircled the station. Looking out of the massive windows showed over a dozen ships identical to the one the had just exited. A few were docked at one of the three concourses, but most were either leaving or just arriving. Despite the number of beings in the corridor, it was not crowded, mainly due to its sheer size.
-Z'har It would seem that it is time for us to part ways, at least for a short while.
It was obvious from his tone that Z'har was not overly enthusiastic about this necessity. However, they each had their own tasks to tend to before they could return to touring the galaxy. Pulling her close into his arms, Z'har kissed her deeply.
-Z'har I will meet up with you at the temple on Coreilla.

Ael hadn't said anything much since the proximity alarm went off. So much had changed over the past three days that it was breathtaking to think about. But, when Z'har turned and suddenly pulled her closely into him, kissing her goodbye with a latent intensity that took her breath away, even as she responded in kind, she realized that she would miss him. She'd miss a whole new experience of intimacy that had been unknown in her life thus far. As she kissed him back, arms wrapped tightly around him, she felt an odd dry stinging in her eyes, and blinked them tightly closed. Finally, she stepped back, swallowing hard around a lump that seemed to have just materialized in her throat.
"See that you do, Z'har. It's already been too long."
She turned towards her destination, looking back over her shoulder for a parting shot.
"I'd hate to have to place a bounty on your head."

Z'har's only reply was his laughter as he turned & walked the other way. The sooner that his business was completed, the sooner he would be able to head on toward Coreilla. Before long, he had boarded the ship that was heading onward toward Honoghr.

In hyperspace, a corvette-class minelayer dropped out of hyperspace early, putting itself in the midst of deep space. On board, it carried the three relay stations, some fifty non-mass transceivers, and thirteen relay satellites that the Quincy had harvested, modified, and directly programmed over the past year - the components that, in their entirety, would make up the Quincy SpyNet. Placing the satellites, transceivers, and relay stations, however, was slow and grueling work - the corvette had to travel by sublight to exact coordinates, whereupon it released a transceiver, satellite, or relay, and then initiated tuning and orientation procedures. In tuning, the onboard communications officers communicated with the dropped component with the ships onboard communication suite, verifying that it was receiving all frequencies, and even testing encryption algorithms and droid brain logic. If everything checked out, they proceeded to orientation - specific coordinates were given, and the component then oriented towards that position - the corvette then made a short hyperspace jump, followed by a several hour sublight flight to intercept that orientations path. From there, another test of frequencies and protocols was done, before, finally, the corvette made the several hour sublight flight back to the primary space land, jumped back into hyperspace, and then repeated the process - some seventy times.
It would take the better part of three months (one week RL) to set up the entirety of the SpyNet array - meanwhile, the disaster that was the primary Listening post would -hopefully - be resolved by the time the array was put into place. Then again, if something could go wrong...it probably would.

*Sinina could see other things happening around in the med bay, and it made her feel guilty that he was bothering with her. Sure it hurt, but none of it would be life threatening. As weird as it was for someone who was raised by Nightsisters, she worried about them, even though some of them could for all she know turn her over to the Jedi to be used against her Mother. She shakes her head gently, she could think of that later.
Okay..but they look like they need help more then me..
*She didn't refuse, even as she worried about what could happen when she was out. She watched the mask come down over her mouth and started to count as she was told, her eyes getting heavier then they already were, it wasn't long before she was out, it wouldn't have taken much with her exhaustion to put her out, more so to keep her out. Her silver eyes closed and didn't open.
The young girl laid there motionless as the anesthetics did their job. She was asleep, though her mind was anything but quiet. Drug induced dreams crossed her imagination, she frowns as she walked along a ships deck...but it wasn't the Son. She frowned as she walked, it seemed dark. Like unspeakable evil resided here, darker then anything she had ever felt on Dathomir. Darker then she had ever felt from Loki. It made her shiver. She frowns as she see's her sister in the hall, it looked like she were looking for something. But what? Why was she in such a place. It troubled the young girl, the runes on her sleeping body appeared faintly again.
Next she was traveling the span of the galaxy, to some unknown planet, it felt like she'd fallen from the sky, to land on her feet as gracefully as any cat. She looked around not sure what she was seeing, quickly though she realizes. A crash site. Debris was scattered. As she looked around, she noticed familiar markings, clearly Mandalorian. Ordo. She recognized the ship. "Mom?" She called. She didn't see a body. Or the signs of anything but debris. She searched harder, desperation and panic claiming her. Her resting form the runes get more noticeable, for any familiar with them they would be likely to see they were sith alchemy runes.

Farris tilted his head up at the young Seer with a cocked smile. Yea- sure I do, kid. sure. He wanted to speak with her, alone, to implore her for her forgiveness. But now was absolutely not the time. With a calculated sigh, the Polydroxol positioned the Zabrak more comfortably on the floor, so that he might work on him in a few minutes. His injuries were serious, but not altogether life threatening- yet. He might need hours to actually do the surgery needed to restore the massive creature to some symbolince of health- while Sinina's knee could be mostly mended in less than half that time. And then, she could walk. The more people he got walking who didn't hate him, the better. Eventually, he figured, he could outnumber his enemies with allies and then he'd feel a lot more secure. Obviously he thought of the terms enemies and allies loosely. He still felt certain no one could, or would trust him- which almost was like a default mindset for Farris. It was alright, he supposed. None of them were trustworthy either, especially the young girl who had showed such interest in him one second, and now walked past him like a chill wind on Hoth. Farris followed I'vya with his eyes, narrowing them slightly in question. She spoke crisply- the anger in her voice almost palpable, even to him, even without the force. He didn't give her the satisfaction of a fearful look- or even of an uneasy one, just a curious one. Thanks for your help.... He muttered as she passed, obviously having nothing more to do with him. He watched as he figure retreated from him- roving his eyes around the room again before shrugging and turning his expression to the recovering form of Thea. And for that second he was struck motionless as his mind quickly mulled over what to do. An uncharacteristic nervousness swept over him and he glanced down at his hands, which weren't just shaking- but also, weirdly enough, loosing their shape. Narrowing his eyes, he determined that he could not risk speaking with her just yet. His approaching might send her into another panic, especially sense she had no idea who he was, except someone who pretended to be the doctor she was forced to aid in crude inhuman experiments. That was a Resume best left unread. With some difficult, he turned his eyes away from her and focused on steadying his structure- and his nerves. He wanted so much to check on her, to tell her what really happened and to assure her he would get her home- but right now, he couldn't bring himself to do it. Right now, he had a shattered knee to distract him.
With a sigh, he turned to Sinina's unconscious body and engrossed himself in her injuries. Assembling various wires, probes and even some medical screws, Farris began carefully unwrapping her knee, and cutting away the discolored flesh. Glancing at the multiple fractures with a frown, he began carefully crossing strong medical wire over her knee, gently pressing the fragments of bone back together properly. Looking up from his work, Farris blinked curiously, seeing several strange symbols crawling up the girl's other leg and arms. But they weren't just markings he might not have noticed before- they were illuminated. Turning his head over to Adieumus and E'yame, he spoke cautiously.
Uh, Adieumus- my patient is glowing.....is this ok? He hesitated briefly. I'm gona go with maybe?
With a confused frown, he chose to finish rather than delay, and risk her waking up with her knee opened. Looking back down, he manipulated the fragments a bit with a thin probe before tightening up the metal brace and making sure it rested flat against her knee. By the time he was done stinting and closing up her flesh, she wouldn't even notice there was a wire there, and once the pain subsided, she wouldn't even feel effects of the injury at all. Thankfully nothing was uneven. The bone would heal as normal. He got a short flat rod from a closet and some clean gauze, and wrapped her knee up again, so that it wouldn't bend. She could walk now- but not without help from either a crutch or a person. Before waking her though, he gave her a good pain suppressor, just so she could wake up comfortable and not screaming at him. He hooked up an IV to her not glowing arm- filled with fluids to replenish what she had lost during both her ordeal and the surgery. After that he quickly patched up and applied bacta to the blaster wounds she had accumulated, so that they would be on their way to healing also. Then he finally injected her with a mild stimulant to wake her from her dreams. All in all, the procedure might have taken all of 20 minutes. Good morning. He said, gently, hoping she wouldn't wake up violently. He supposed she wouldn't. Adieumus hadn't and that was a surprise for Farris. I'm done. You're safe. Nothing crazy happened while you were out- except ...unexplained glowing. Did you know you could glow? He gave a smile because he was trying to be somewhat humerus, but also, he was very curious as to why She glowed. Perhaps it was in poor taste, but he hoped she wouldn't take it that way.

Anna blinked at Farris' response. She watched what happened when he looked at Thea, and wanted to say something but wasn't quite sure what to say. Looking around once more, she caught Adi's eye and smiled at him- one of those 'you did it' kind of smiles. But true sleep was really pulling at her mind and she was nestled quite comfortably under a soft warm blanket. It took only moments for the young Seer to close her eyes and fall into a deep, absolutely dreamless sleep.
Without hesitation Raven shook Dominic's hand. Her hand was very small, not really fragile- but seemingly not accustom to violence. And truthfully, Alora wasn't. She could be a very dangerous adversary- but she preferred diplomacy over aggressive negotiations. And her attitude portrayed that- often causing people to misjudge her abilities, and while she did have a weapon on her, it was hidden from view. It's nice to meet you. I'm glad you weren't caught up in the explosion. She said with a genuine expression- even if he were some hidden enemy, being trapped under tons of metal and earth was no way to do. Raven had been there before, and she still didn't like tight dark spaces. She listened as he mentioned the others in the med bay, and with a concentrated expression, the Jedi tried to recall if she knew their names. Some were much easier than others, but they didn't have a proper 'what's your name and interests' type of introduction when they decided to band together into this strange group. Well- I know the Zabrak is Loki and the girl he was carrying- her name's Sinina. I never got the name of the medic- I'm still pretty new to this group also, and being the only Jedi makes things kind of...awkward. She gave a soft smile and shook her head. In fact, I'm not quite sure this group actually formed but a few days ago. Our first adventure together just happened to be....bigger than we all expected. She shrugged and glanced back up at him. So, why were you in the lab? did you work there? She hesitated with a sheepish smile. If you did- sorry about your job and all that... Collateral damage is always a jerk.

"Nah. It's nothing to worry about. Mind the weather when they glow, though."
Adi had sat up shortly after hitting hyperspace. The room was still spinning a little bit, but he was able to get up, and move around. With some help from Eya, Adi was able to move gingerly to his cabin after about a half hour in the med lab. He was awake, and already patched up, so for him to be there? He would have just been in the way. He sat on his bed, and leaned back against the wall, thinking the whole mission over...from beginning to end. It had started well enough, to be sure. All had gone as planned, until that fourth turbolaser had popped up. From there, the whole mission plan had been shattered beyond repair. It had been a miracle that any of them had made it out alive, let alone completing the mission like they had.
They had, however, all made it out alive. For the first time since he couldn't remember when, everyone that had gone in with Adi came back out in one piece. It would appear that the curse had been broken, once and for all. Fate had tried her damndest to break the Arkanian...and he had come out on the other side with everyone he went in with.
Not from her lack of trying, though.
It was then that the whole episode with Loki being stabbed in the back came to the forefront of his memory, and almost attacking Raven as well. He =had= to make sure he talked to them...make sure they understood...he wasn't able to control what he did at that point. He had been too weak to resist the control of the Array. A tear slipped down his cheek, then another, and another. He broke down, his face in his hands, at the damage he had caused. He had been so damn close to killing them, or being killed BY them to stop him...and he could never allow that to happen again. Somehow, the Array had known the trigger words to set him on that path, and they had to be cleansed from his mind. Somehow, some way, he had to ensure that no one could ever use his own mind against him like that. He could never again put his friends, his family, in danger due to his own negligence.
Taking a shaky breath, Matango composed himself. Opening a com channel to the cockpit, Adi spoke to Raxxie.
::Im sending you co-ordinates of a small villa in the lake country. It was, and still is, owned by my company, HNAC. It was built as a retreat for their employees, but seeing as they only have a few, and Honoghr is a paradise unto itself, it was very rarely used. We will probably have to send someone into Theed for supplies, but it should be a good place for us to lay low for a few days until we recoup.::
As promised, Adi sent the location of the villa to the female Zabrak, and closed the channel. Reaching into his table, he pulled out one of his hand-rolled smokes, and lit it, letting the relaxing wave of the ganja wash over him. He could feel the aches and pains melting away to manageable levels, finally. No amount of doctoring could stop the recovery from hurting....and the best painkiller was an all-natural one. He took another drag, and exhaled, blowing out smoke rings.
They had done it. They had gone against the odds, and pulled off the impossible. Now, Adi could relax for a bit, and contemplate his next course of action.

*Sinina laid still, the runes stayed the same as he worked on her knee, her mind wanting to wake up, her emotions running away with her again, confusion, anger, fear. Her inner voice screaming, wanting to get up, to run, to do something to find what what was happening, where these images came from. It felt like eternity.
Then slowly, she started to wake, she still felt exhausted, like she hadn't even been out, weary. Her eyes fluttered and she slowly opened her eyes, looking around, her eyes darted this way and that, checking the details of the room, comparing to what she remembered from before she was out, not much had changed. She sighs softly and rubs her head gently.*
Morning... I feel like i was hardly asleep at all..
*She relaxed there, expecting he wouldn't like for her to move for a while so whatever he had to do could heal, slowly the runes had faded again. She looked up at Farris with a frown as she thinks, her visions coming back to her. She cluthed the sheets of the bed as her eyes shot wide open, fully awake in an instant, checking herself as much as she could, and looking around the room again.*
I didn't do anything bad did I? I saw imgaes. A crashed ship. Please tell me I didn't do anything!
*She groans softly as realization comes to her.*
You said nothing crazy... I'm sorry.. I.. Feel weird lately.. Its a recent surprise I have found out about..
*She sighs deeply this time as she relaxed laying back. She felt miserable. She overreacted again. She silently cursed herself for being so ridiculous. She brushed her hair back behind her ears and looks up at him again with silver eyes. Her voice came out again, soft and elegant as normal, her panic hidden away.*
Thanks for fixing my knee..

Watching Farris work was akin to watching the holocrons she had watched over the years. More astutely to those she had seen in example of the healing capability of the Force. While none of it seemed to be less of a flurry of complex thought, systematic action and careful diagnostics, she could not say that she was not impressed with his ability to accomplish so much in such a short and inopportune amount of time. Were it anyone else she was sure she’d have had the pleasure of watching them stumble through their actions and fall short of grand expectations. Were it not for her lingering, and amassing, emotion she would have noticed sooner the condition of the woman who had seemingly harmed herself again. The woman her father had told her to ignore.”She’s not one for composure.” She muttered to herself as she made her way at the polydroxol’s suggestion over towards Thea and knelt gingerly at her side. She’d only been out moments and she could already feel the woman’s energy falling into an unstable flux. Trauma, shock, confusion and even fear washed over the woman, but it meant little to the young woman as she placed a hand gently against Thea’s head and her other against her abdomen. While his assessment was correct, he would have been shocked could he feel the damage. Whatever she had undergone in that decrepit facility was better off forgotten. Though, that sadly, was not her decision to make. The same glow that had shown from beneath her palms with Adi showed once more as she addressed Thea’s injuries.
The test once she was finished was to be sure that this woman would not jump or become frantic upon waking, something she had experienced time and time again with the wildlife of Dantooine. She had had only one other sentient patient before, however, and she was apt to consider the femininity of her patient something to be accounted for.”I’m going to need you to open your eyes, but do not move.” She whispered to the woman, gently coaxing the woman with her voice augmented by a flow of the Force to her vocal chords. ”My name is I'vya and you are safe, but others need your help. That is your focus, nothing else.” With that she withdrew from the woman’s form, rose to her feet and walked past Farris with a completely different expression on her face than she had presented him before. Almost as if her opinion of him had flipped entirely on his head. ”If that is how you handle your friends, than I’d suggest you rethink your act.” She uttered with a staunch and unwavering frustration as she met his gaze with eyes darkening with anger, the Force swelling around her until her anger cleanly subsided. While she was sure Malacia would have been a just reward for his negligence, she could not allow herself that satisfaction. Thea was back in that dark room again. She couldn't see anything and she feared for her life. The door opened and light shone through, briefly blinding her. The man who she thought was dead stepped in. He started asking the same question again. This time something was different, before she could even speak, the door opened, illuminating the entire room and Thea opened her eyes. She was no longer in that room, she was on the ship. Her memory came back to her and she started shaking. Her face found a woman who she saw in the hangar. I`vya was her name. She was happy to finally put a name to the face. Carefully Thea got up off the floor and stood. That was when she noticed Farris, or Dr. Noble, or whoever he was calling himself now, staring at her. Her face showed her blatant lack of trust. She turned away from him and walked over to the closet to look at the inventory. She needed to know what they had so she could help people.

"Loki, Sinina..." Dominic repeated, locking it away into his mind. He listened to Raven, filing all of the information away. New group, mostly Sith or androids, only one Jedi. And a tiny one at that. Probably not physically strong, but most likely good with the blade and the force. Dominion had been in too many skirmishes to underestimate people. Why was he in the lab? Right... "Uh, yeah. I'm Dr. Dominic Mitchell." Dominic quickly adopted the name of the Doctor who's ID he had stolen while he was inside. "Well, the Knights were bigger jerks than collateral. I got enough credits in my account from the work that I'll be fine." He would scratch the back of his head, trying to feign the look of someone who had lost their job but wasn't too sad about it.
"Um, I came here with a girl, Thea, and Doctor Noble. do you know where they would be? I need to talk to them in private..." He needed to inform them both of the persona he was taking, and to not talk about how they met, the truth that they knew about him, little of it that it may be.

E`yame quickly ran over and helped her father off of the hospital bed. She didn't agree with him getting up yet, but she knew that there was no arguing with him. She slung her hand around his body to help support him and led him into his cabin. Reaching down, she pulled back his blankets and helped him into his own bed. Eya looked at him and smiled.
"Get some rest, if you need anything, let me know."
She headed to the hangar of the ship and saw Raven and the new guy. She practically ignored them and went over to where Fire was still laying on the floor, asleep. How she could sleep through all of this, she had no clue. She grabbed her Katanas and made her way back to the med bay to grab her gauntlets that she had left in there. She didn't remember when she took them off, but she still wore the backpack that had her wings in. She shrugged that off and placed her gauntlets into the backpack, in their designated spot. That was when she remembered Raven had her helmet. Eya knew she was talking to someone, so she just went to her cabin and figured she would get her helmet later.
***
Zee had jumped off Eya's shoulder and sat on the bed Adi now vacated. He looked up at Meeka and smiled, wondering if she could give him a lift back to the room.
"Majestic creature! Would you like to fly again?"
