Wookiees? This is an excellent development. They were, by far, the most lucrative, most difficult to catch and most difficult to contain. Being able to offload a good number of them would indeed relieve the pressure building in the slave pens for a while. Wookiees were always very popular as slaves, hardy and strong, they were exceptional for manual labour. This, of course, meant guessing a perspective buy to be a shot in the dark.

Admiral Saren, Task Force King Sword is gathered and awaiting your orders. Location: approaching Drog VI's orbit, Drog System, Corporate SectorWith the assembly of fresh ships and troops at Bonadan, for clean up operations in the Drog System, Admiral Saren launched them into hyperspace and down the Etti Route Major to their targeted location: the front line of what remained of the CSA's faltering resistance. Although much of Corporate Space belonged to the Diarchy, these corporate remnants were being rather tenacious. Admiral Saren, with the Diarch's permission, took it upon himself to end this resistance once and for all.
Drog was a divided system right now. The Imperials came, in great force, and managed to grab up Drol II, using it as their foothold. However, the CSA remnant had a firm defense, despite their situation. Several legions of troops, a modest armored complement, and a good fleet of warships. It's flagship was a Nebula-class Star Destroyer, with several Venators, a couple ISDs, and some other vessels that once belonged to the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Empire. All together, a told fleet of some thirty vessels of various classes and sizes. These were aged models, but they still had teeth.
The opening of a second front, in the Kail system, forced them to divert a once grander fleet at Drog, but so did it force the Diarchy to stretch its own assets. Kail was now a place to hold down their forces and, hopefully, punch through Drog as originally intended. The arrival of Task Forces Hercules and the newly formed King Sword would help in this effort. The present Diarchy fleet, of some twenty vessels, was commanded by Commodore Zeers. With the arrival of Saren, command was transferred and the fleet rearranged for battle. It was time to punch through this resistance and force their way to the remnant fortress in the Davirien system. A holo-image of Vidarr Saren, and soon Zeers, appeared upon the bridge of Rear-Admiral Vasili's flagship, King Sword.Rear-Admiral Vasili, you, and your fleet, will take the left flank with the addition of the ISD Falconer and a complement of a few Golpeador-class Frigates. Commodore Zeers will command the right flank, from his command ship, the ISD Bloodhound. The enemy's fleet must be broken in order for our troops to land and begin operations. Once that is dealt with, Zeers will continue with the blockade and we can move upon Davirien. Any questions?

—The Rear-Admiral stood ready and anxious to begin, both to bring the end of the CSA and to test out the capabilities of his new fleet. And based upon the Admiral's words, there would be no hesitation or preparation. He was already in position and awaiting the final piece of this assault. This made the man inwardly smirk as wide as his face could possibly hold. Remaining composed, he gave a nod at the orders.—
None, sir. The crew is prepped and ready to go. We should be with you soon.
—Ending the transmission, Lucius looked to the comms officer.—
"I want all ship prepped and ready to jump to lightspeed in the next two minutes. We have a resistance to bring to their knees and I don't want to keep them waiting. Set coordinates for Drog VI."
—A simple "yes, sir" was all that was given as the orders went out to the other ships. As the fleet began to mobilize, Lucius stood before the viewport as the ships began to move into formation, ready to make the jump. It wasn’t long before the comma officer reported all ships were ready.
With a faint smirk, he spoke with a loud and commanding tone, his gaze not once leaving the realm of space before him.—
"Jump to light speed now."
—Only a few moments passed as the ship’s hyperdrive began to spin up. The faint sound resonating within his ears only built his anticipation as the space on front of them began to warp as they launched themselves into hyperspace. Minutes passed by since the transmission ended. Despite how quickly they could move across the galaxy, it was far from instantaneous. It took a fair bit of control to keep his composure as the Rear-Admiral awaited their arrival. The patience soon paid off as they arrived.
Coming in a little ways behind and to the left of the currently gathered fleet, Task Force King Sword made its way forward to join with them and accept the additional ships along their ranks for the operation. Already potent enough with his current make up of a Cazador-class Star Destoryer, two Cargador-class Carriers, two Gladiator III-class Star Destroyers, two Rapidor-class Cruisers, four Golpeador-class Frigates, and four Vencedor-class Star Destroyers, the additional ships being added to his fleet for this task would only add to his capabilities.—

As the fleets moved into position, Admiral Saren set a countdown, on his bridge, for the commencing of their operation. He quickly reviewed the enemy's position. The Corporate Sector Authority wasn't known for its own ship production, but they still managed to use their money to grab some powerful relics of former fleets. At a first glance, the enemy's composition included a pair of Providence-class Destroyers, a couple of Imperial I-class Star Destroyers, and even a Venator model. Munificents, Dreadnaughts, Arquitens, and more dotted the formation. They were evenly matched, by the looks of things. His second, Commander Cardas, who was present at the table, spoke up.
=Val Cardas= Admiral, you notice it too, don't you?
Saren nods his head.
Aye... someone competent on their side. This fleet arrangement looks calculated.
The Imperial reaches forward, moving the map over the enemy's position.
But there are still flaws. The Five's battle meditation should help.
Saren pulls back a little to rub his chin. Who commanded the CSA's remnant fleet here? This formation looked different than the ones encountered before. For a moment, the Admiral had to consider some options. He then keys the bridge of Rear-Admiral Vasili.
Vasili, this is Admiral Saren. The remnant formation before us hints at someone with a good knowledge of military strategy. Do you recall anyone from the ranks that was a rising star or proven commander?

--With the additional assets merged with his fleet, Lucius stood in front of the viewport, his eyes focused upon the ships that laid before him. Despite his desire to devastate his opponents, he wasn't one to ignore reality. The ships, while not as advanced as the Dirachy's newly crafted vessels, were formidable, chosen from different factions of times past. All of them had proven their worth and were still in use among many even in the Diarchy itself.
The more his gaze allowed itself to remained fixed upon the formation, the more his mind began to realize something. It was the same thought that the Admiral had. This wasn't a last-ditch fleet thrown together in some feeble attempt to resist. Someone here was actually thinking as a tactician and making a true attempt to keep what little territory they had in hopes of one-day reclaiming control and removing the Diarchy. The more he thought on it, the more familiar it seemed. It was only when the Admiral contacted him that it all came together.
Giving a small growl and cursing under his breath before responding.--
Such a man did reside within the CSA. Alastair Ventor. Much like myself, he attempted to climb the ranks. His approach, however, was, how do you say, defensive. It could be said that whereas I sought to be the sword, he was set upon being the shield. His strategies were more favored by command and he received the promotions while I was scorned and held back. Ventor is tactical and capable of handling a situation, so I'd advise caution. He could wait for us to move in close before striking, try a head-on approach, or even try to blindside us with hit and run attacks with quick or stealthy vessels. Not my particular favorite approach, but he is one to be respected.
--The Rear-Admiral was always curious as to who carried the most superior strategy just as much as he was about what kind of team they could have created. At least, in all of this, he'd find out who would falter under the other's might. All that was left was to see what kind of strategy the Admiral and his team could formulate.--

So, the Corporate remnants still had a trump card up their sleeve. This explained why the defenses were so sternly held between the two fronts. It was easier for this Ventor to command the defensive operations. This made Admiral Saren wonder: was this Ventor good overall at defense or within a specific field of it? This specific field meaning either a wide or a narrow front. In the past, the Imperial forces of the Diarchy were able to overwhelm and breakthrough the Corporate Fleets in many engagements. Granted, the Diarchy had better technology and fervor on their side as hardline Imperials. Yet, Saren did not recall any other instance where they felt a firm defense like this. He glances to his second, Commander Cardas.
Any instances of strong defensive operations in our records, Commander?
Cardas procures a datapad and does a quick survey.
=Val Cardas= There were... some firm defenses in the Ninn and Mall'ordian systems, but this was later in the war.
Ninn and Mall'ordian were, by cardinal direction, north of the Drog system, which was where these current operations were occurring. Ventor could have been the defensive commander at those encounters to ensure as much of the Corporate fleets could be preserved while bleeding the Diarchy. It was hard to tell though. Defensive strategies weren't as risky as offensive ones after all. Once more, Admiral Saren addresses Vasili who is still on comm.
Any recommendations on how to deal with Alastair Ventor, Rear-Admiral? You seem to know him well. Perhaps even his flaws that could help us exploit his defensive posturing and ensure the victory we need to punch through Drog and expose the Davirien system to a full Diarchy invasion.

—The Rear-Admiral moved to the viewport, allowing his gaze to return to the established fleet before them. He was silent for a fair bit as he contemplated any possible strategies they could employ. His mind drifted down the path of memories as he thought on the tactics utilized by Alastair. The man had always been calm and focused, prepared for nearly everything. Such a tactician was certainly difficult to overcome.
As he reflected upon it, something came to him. It was certainly a long shot, but in this case, the only true way to beat their opponent was to out think them or otherwise put them in a situation beyond the scope of their tactics. Turning back to the comms, he finally spoke.—
It is difficult to say. But perhaps there might be a way. He is not a man to take heavy risks and is not one that responses well to, how should I put it, random and spontaneous attack patterns that deviate from his strategies. To best counteract him, we would need to think outside the box of military tactics and hit him with the unexpected. That would be the best option I could recommend, Admiral.

The Admiral seems to contemplate on the words of Vasili. Random and spontaneous attack patterns, counteract his tactics with out of the box thinking. It would be hard to coordinate, so perhaps there was a way to make it work without expending too much. It took a little thinking before something was considered. He turns to Cardas again.
Cardas, call up Maxir and his group.
The Commander nods his head and proceeds to relay the order via comm. While doing so, Saren addresses Vasili.
I will use the boon of my Dark Jedi by ulitizing the benefits of their Battle Meditation. Illusions will look to be flanking and break apart his formation, allowing our true ships to push through from the front. We haven't engaged yet after all. They may be thinking we are waiting for reinforcements.
The Admiral awaits to see what Vasili thinks of this plan.

—Lucius listened to the plan that was laid out by the Admiral. He, himself, took the aid of Force users in small amounts, always choosing caution when dealing with their kind. Some seemed too entitled or carried feelings of superiority against those such as himself. Though that wasn’t the case with all with groups showing loyalty to even one without the Force, he still preferred keeping them at arm’s length.
Yet, by what he knew, there was little else they could try. While his own tactics tended to overwhelm the tactically minded, it would be of no use in this battle due to their opponent and him knowing Lucius and his style of combat. He would have to mostly likely reign in his desires and listen to the plans of the Admiral if they were to succeed in this fight. Even extraordinary tactics of the past would falter against Alastair most likely for he had studied such moves, especially from those like Thrawn.
Giving a frustrated sigh, he knew that this could possibly be their best hope. Despite his feelings on Force users, their abilities were hard to gauge and added a variable that was hard to account for.—
Looking to the Dark Jedi is likely our best option. I stand ready for your orders.

Looking to the Dark Jedi is likely our best option. I stand ready for your orders. It didn't take long for an ideal room to be chosen to the Gang of Five's usage. The Admiral ensured that their enemy believed that the fleet was awaiting more reinforcements. The possibility of more would likely keep the CSA on the defensive and not risk a pre-emptive strike. It sounded like something their commander would not risk. After a solid hour, the Dark Jedi began to pool their energies together in order to amplify their battle meditation. The success of this was seen when several illusions exited out of hyperspace. A few more Star Destroyers and accompanying escorts. Over the course of the next hour, more ships warped in, creating two additional fleets on either side of the right and left flank. A reserve of illusion ships also formed up, creating an immense fleet. The hour drew near once everything was in place. Squadrons were ready for deployment and the Dark Jedi's illusions were steady. An alarm went off as the hour struck upon the bridge. Admiral Saren looks up to see 00:00:00 on the clock. Then he opens an comlink and gives the order. All fleets, forward! The engines roared to life as the formations moved forward. The end of the CSA remnants would be today!

--As Lucius awaited the command to attack, he begun to contemplate the plan and the various outcomes. What he had stated to the Admiral was indeed true in that the skills of the Dark Jedi would be their best options. The sudden illusions of many more fleets of ships would certainly bring pause to one even as skilled and tactical as Ventor. But how long would that advantage truly last? Such mind games weren't a match for a ship's sensors. Unless there was more to it than simply creating illusions for all to see, the lack of a signal would eventually bring about some notice. At first, they would assume the chance that somehow, the Diarchy was utilizing some form of sensor jammer on every ship in their arsenal aside from those that existed before them. Before long, the illusionary hits would break the facade. By then, they could only hope that they had begun to break through unless further illusions and mind games were at play, such as affecting the minds of the officers watching the scanners or also creating explosion upon the hulls along with shaking the ships with the Force. How much of that were these Dark Jedi even capable of? Time would tell just where the extent of this gamble would end.
But the Rear-Admiral wasn't one to leave such things to chance. He began to formulate his own plans just so that he was prepared for whatever tactic and revelation his old colleague had. The Diarchy would see victory and the CSA would fall in this final battle. As he awaited the orders, Lucius looked upon the enemy fleet, analyzing its structure. If the illusions that the Dark Jedi created appeared to fully flank and come up from the sides of the opposition, it would definitely work to break up the formation as a new defensive plan was put into motion. But there needed to be a bit of extra insurance to make sure that the plan was able to hold itself together long enough to allow them access to the proper footing in which to destroy Ventor's fleet. It was a shame that they couldn't exercise maneuvers such as the Thrawn Pinser. It would have been a glorious tactic to use, having his interdictor craft being close enough to not just bring ships in suddenly next to the enemy, but behind and in the perfect spot to take down their engines.
With his plan formulated, he began passing orders to his ships to have the fighters ready to scramble once he gave the word. The moment Saren gave the order, they would depart the hangars and fall upon the enemy like metal rain. He smirked as he thought of the look that would before the enemy's face as he exercised his patience to the best of his ability.
Finally, the moment arrived as the order came. With it, Lucius gave his own.--
All ships, press forward. I want the Brutalis and the Superious to lead with the Golpeadors and Vencedors splitting up into groups to cover their flanks. Bring the King Sword in just behind them with the carriers falling back just a bit. Allow the Gladiators to hang back in the rear and activate their interdiction fields. We will use those four to draw away more starfighters as bait. Have the additional forces given to use to push further into the left flank to support the plan and tie them up so they can't recall them to the center once we engage. All fighter squadrons, stand by to launch.
--It was a risky maneuver, some might say, leaving the carriers and interdictors behind the main force without the full protection of the main fleet. But that was exactly the point. One was a creation of the Diarchy and the other was new and didn't appear in the enemy composition. He would use the possibility that they lacked any knowledge on these ships and their capabilities in combat. They were far from defenseless, capable of handling themselves in a fight no different than most frontlines warships. The starfighters that broke away, as well as any capital ships that tried to use them to cripple the Diarchy, would be met with a rude awakening.--

There, indeed, was an instant reaction to the sudden appearance of new ships. During the time, prior to the battle, the Diarchy commanders would notice a shuffling of the formation, under Alastair Ventor. Ships were moved to compensate and it seemed that their wing was starting to extend, as if attempting to block all means of flanking. Yet, as more ships arrived, Saren noticed a rather sudden change: the formation began to... contract. It seemed Ventor couldn't hope to match the numbers, by formation, but instead focus his firepower by being in a more tightly packed formation. A wise move. It focused firepower, left little room for flanking, but there was a major flaw: if it extended, suddenly, due to changes in the battlefield, there was little room to move. As such, the Hercules sent information and warnings to the fleet, making sure they looked for any possibility to exploit the formation.
When the command was given to advance, Admiral Saren brought up the full display of the unfolding battlefield. Commodore Zeers was advancing steadily along his appointed flank. His bombers were remaining inactive, but this was due to the thicket of starfighters that could easily counter them. The Imperials needed to establish a dominate space supremacy in order for their bombers to be of us. Val Cardas glanced at his superior and speaks up.
=Val Cardas= Our opponent seems worthy of his tactics... but he does not understand the depth of them.
Saren looks at his second-in-command and nods his head.
Against the average commander, they are good tactics. Against people, like myself and Vasili, they are useless.
The Admiral keys the comm to his fleet's frequency.
Andras and Divinity, move forward with the Dauntless and Aegis. Support of three Ardent-class Frigates will join alongside two of our Gladiator IIIs. Do not activate their gravity wells... I want to make our enemy nervous. Let's see if we can draw in their starfighters with these tempting targets. We need to make holes in their thicket and draw pressure off of Zeers.
Acknowledgments were made as the fleet broke into two, with the Hercules bringing up a rear formation while the assigned vanguard moved forward in accordance with the plan. Now see what would happen next.

"Hmm, quite clever, Alastair. Even now you are not so easily deceived. Perhaps the Admiral allowed the Dark Jedi to make the scene a bit too extravagant. But bear no false hope for the flaws in your plan will soon be revealed."
—Lucius watched as they approached, the formation of Ventor’s fleet changing twice as it worked to prepare for the coming attack. It wasn’t clear if the man had caught on or if he simply felt that pulling his fleet closer was the better option considering the suggested number of ships on their side. It concentrated their firepower and lowered where the Diarchy fleets could slip in, but by condensing it as he was, it was allowing a better path around the sides.
Thinking for only a moment, he contacted Saren.—
It seems that Ventor is ready to play defensively and be i it for the long game. Perhaps, though, with him pulling his fleet tighter, we could use the illusions and our main assault to allow a few ships to sneak around behind them? I already have the Falconer and its escorts moving to hit from the furthest point of the left flank. They may be able to slip around them instead.

The communication from Rear-Admiral Vasili was taken by a communications officer on the bridge of the Hercules. The Task Force, which made up a part of the Center Formation, was already beginning to open fire on the stationary, and defensive, position of Ventor and the CSA remnant fleet. Listening to the communication, the officer relays it to the center console where Admiral Saren was directing the battle. After listening to the communication, Saren brings up the map and examines their position with Cardas.
=Val Cardas= As long as that Gang keeps it up, we shouldn't have an issue.
Saren knew that this could work, given how battle meditation worked. The crews of the enemy fleet were being influenced, through the Force, to believe these illusions were real. But if the sensors were examined by a trained eye, they would begin to break focus and risk seeing the reality. Saren nods his head affirmatively.
And if we can position a real fleet behind, then we can hit them where they least expect it.
Saren picks up the transmitter.
Do it, Rear-Admiral. As long as the Battle Meditation holds, they will be left in the dark, but if we can get behind them, we can ensure a battle from a three hundred and sixty degree view. If you need ships to compensate for the flank, contact me.
The communication was ended and Saren relayed new orders.
Intensify our assault! Andras and Divinity should focus fire on their larger vessels! Order Commodore Zeers to extend his flank and begin hitting their sides. We need to make them turn their ships and collide with one another! Only way to break this defensive shell that Ventor has created.
The orders were rapidly relayed as the fleet renewed its assault with great vigor. They just needed to close up the holes and pound these rebels into submission!

--The Rear-Admiral waited for a response as he watched the battle unfold. He knew that the plan needed to be reviewed before committing to it, so he needed patience. Yet, it was difficult to hold onto and not already pass the orders along. Time was of the essence and each second that passed without an answer to possible plans meant the window to utilize them dwindled quickly. Yet, he had to hold himself together at this moment. He knew the Admiral and his team would review the plan and situation quickly and get back to him. And despite his typical approach to battle, he was working to retain himself, especially so soon after his promotion. He didn't need a reason to be given for him to demoted and reprimanded. Not when the tactics and speed of the Admiral's orders were showing their value. It was the CSA's opposite approach that made him ignore orders and he wouldn't compromise the Diarchy's victory due to impatience.
It was but a few minutes before the response came approving the plan. Turning back to his communication officer, he gave his orders quickly.--
"Inform the Falconer and its complement to slip around behind the fleet. Have them cease their attacks as to not draw attention. Have the rest of the fleet spread out to continue working the illusion of being attacked from the left flank. We cannot allow them to gain even a hint as to our plans. Increase the strength of the assault and have our ships focus upon the weapon emplacements and shield generators. Don't waste our shots."
--Transmitting the message to the fleet, there was a quick acknowledgment as the fleet began to move out and in further, the flurry of laser fire working to focus upon certain points of the enemy ships. As the King Sword task force unleashed its fury, the ISD and the accompanying Golpeadors began to slip around behind. As they came around, they already worked to target the engines of the largest ships so to bring down the leadership, and with it, morale.--

The gap was closing as the encirclement went into full swing. As the crescent formation of the Diarchy expanded, the CSA fleet attempted to match, but as estimated by the Imperial leadership, once a shell was created, it was hard to reform. Slowly, as ships began to turn and try to match the movement, they began to collide and intrude upon one another. Ventor may have been a capable leader, but Admiral Saren doubted that the rest were capable too. The commander of the CSA fleets likely had a leashed around his neck in terms of who he appointed and such. The Corporate Sector leaders would have wanted their own men leading to ensure personal glory.
From the rear, where Vasili's formation was hitting, some of the ships, within the defensive shell, began to pull out and fully turn to face the flanking attempt. This, right here, created a noticeable and growing gap within the formation that could be exploited. On the holomap, Admiral Saren and gave a new order for Lucius: Break the Egg!. The simple command given to apply pressure where a vulnerability had been founded. In the mean time, the Admiral continued to order intense firepower on the front and sides, forcing the egg to contort, twist, and lose its cohesion. The egg was starting to snap in places and victory was surely at hand!

--The Rea-Admiral watched with a faint smirk as the ships he sent to come around behind the fleet were finally noticed, albeit, much too late. The additional forces that had joined his task force had almost fully settled themselves into position when the enemy attempted to turn their ships to counteract them. This sole act in such a tightly packed ring showed its flaws quickly as they sought to keep from being surrounded.
Only a slight shake of his head was all Vasili could give when the order came from the Admiral. The time had come to make their move and end the resistance of the CSA once and for all. It was a shame, though. Ventor was an excellent tactician and commander. This break in the formation wasn't one of his own doing, but the incompetence and panic of the individual commanders of the smaller vessels. This act was one of desperation as the CSA sought so hard to retain the last remnants of its territories. It was obvious they'd put one of their best in charge of the formation but neglected to ensure those that followed him would be just as capable. And now, individual orders overruled Ventor's as he expected the man was no doubt trying to regain control of. Sadly, he'd never get the chance.
With the order from Saren, Lucius gave his own.--
"Press the fleet forward and begin breaking through the gap in the enemy's formation. As before, press first with the Brutalis and the Superious to lead with the Golpeadors and Vencedors on their flanks. Their speed and power will disorient the enemy further. Bring the King Sword up the middle of the gap and unleash all we have upon them. Have the Cargadors and Gladiators move up but remain far enough back that they can still engage at a distance but don't attract the most attention. Unleash all fighters and bombers. Show them no quarter. Give them no mercy."
--The order received, Task Force King Sword moved in as fast as each ship could manage to take the best advantage of the growing gap. Time spent moving in slowly would not only be noticed but give Ventor time to organize his formation again. The additional units provided to Lucius continued their brutal assault as the Rear-Admiral pushed in like a wedge to split open the formation further.
Barrages of missiles, torpedoes, and turbolaser fire fell upon the enemy as soon as the weapons were in range, the four Vencedors utilizing their pairs of tractor beams to lock the enemy down where they could, especially if it bound them in a position that left them unable to return fire. The King Sword moved up the middle, its own tractor beams engaging as the heavily armed ships tore into the enemy's shields and hulls. Swarms of TIE/Co Conquistadors, TIE/Df Defensors, Tormenta-class Bomber, and Martillo-class Missile Boats flew from the hangars, especially from the pair of Cargadors and their total complement of five-hundred and seventy-six fighters. The capabilities of the Defensors and Conquistadors surpassed nearly every starfighter thrown their way, making easy work of them as they created clear paths for the bombers and missile boats, the heavy payloads more than enough to further bring ruin upon the CSA remnants.
It wouldn't be long before the enemy was but debris scattered along the space lanes, finally becoming the trash that they truly were.--

--It wouldn't be long before the enemy was but debris scattered along the space lanes, finally becoming the trash that they truly were.-- The end of resistance was pitiful and desperate. New communications flooded the channels as individual ships attempted to surrender to the oncoming Diarchy onslaught. One that had been held at bay until fresh new vessels and commanders came to the front. There were ignored, for the most part, by the Admiral Saren. Those ships, who attempted to surrender by silencing their weapons, were ripped apart by torpedoes and turbolaser fire. Others simply plowed into another as they tried to refocus their fire and only got in each other's way. Soon enough, burning debris clouded the once pristine formation of Vasili's rival. Ventor's career was, at last, finished by this defeat.
Orders were being given for a general advance as the Diarchy pushed the advantage and smashed through the carcasses of the CSA remnant fleet. However, caution swelled within Saren at this time. Though the egg was cracking, his enemy must have a group of capable persons at his side. He wouldn't have accepted this assignment if he didn't have his allies after all. Suddenly, one of the escort ships blew up as focused turbolasers poured into a sector of his formation. His flagship rocked from the nearby explosion.=Imperial Ensign= Admiral! New contacts! Formation lying at... coordinates 7-7-3-2!These coordinates were located just off to the left and within the debris field. Admiral Saren grits his teeth. Ventor had turned the cracked egg into a fortress to snipe at will. If his ships advanced, the CSA's remaining ships could use the debris as cover. Picking their targets and focusing fire with ease The Imperial motions to his comms officer.New orders! Flush out our enemy with bombers and fighters! Focus firepower on those coordinates to open the way! Have Commodore Zeers keep an eye on our Right Flank in case our enemy attempts a breakthrough! These orders were relayed to the various formations.

Grand Inquisitor ZarielSilas DarkstarJan RogoUpon an appointed day, a nameless IGV-55 Surveillance Vessel departed from a Diarchy outpost of Saclas and entered the Wyl Sector to the south. Following the hyperspace route, it went into the Chorlian Sector. This region of space was well-known for its lawlessness and depravity. Many a times, the unsuspecting and overly confident went missing here. Likely taken as slaves by patrols of Zygerrians that dominated many of the hyperlanes that led towards their sacred capital of Zygerria, the decadent capital of a once proud slaver empire. Thankfully, the well-equipped IGV-55 helped them keep ahead of possible foes and took lesser known routes. Routes known by Old Sith Empires.
The issue with finding Malachor was actually... finding it. The planet was notorious for being lost for a few centuries and being found again, only to be lost for several more centuries after. Coordinates were known, but they couldn't be entirely trusted. Maxir believed that Malachor would reveal itself if they proved worthy or if it wanted to be found. Hence why Silas Darkstar as well as Sister Maree and Brother Gredarr were present. Their greater sensitivity to the Force as practitioners of its magic and sorcery would be a boon for this venture. The armored feet of Maxir paced the bridge quietly on their fifth day of searching the known sector where Malachor was once known to be. It was impatience that drove him to be this anxious and irritated. Malachor was being stubborn! He turns to an ensign who was monitoring the sensors.=Maxir= Anything? The ensign looked up, terrified, before hesitantly shaking her head.

Silas had been standing as still as a statue at the viewport of the bridge, his eyes closed in meditation. Going into this mission, they knew finding Malachor would be no easy task. But with their fifth day of searching now under way, even Silas had to admit that their chances of finding the dark world of the Sith were growing fainter by the day. It was strange to think a planet could call out to them and draw them in, only to drag them all this way and leave them hanging. But Malachor was not a normal world by any means. The Dark Side was strong here, creating a sense of consciousness to protect the world.
He slowly opened his eyes, pulling his senses back to himself as he heard Maxir question an ensign about the sensors. He suppressed a sigh, not even bothering to grace Maxir with a glance back Your sensors aren't going to pick up something before Maree, Gredarr, or myself sense it... Perhaps instead of pacing you could do something useful and fetch Maree for me?
