So with the start of the Cold War I will be creating missions and such to add to the overall feel tothe site. These will be Micro RPs which will only take a week to two weeks at a time. Should they not be finished by the end then an ultimatum will be posted by myself with the outcome decided by how each side preformed. Hopefully there is enough interest to do this so here I go.
For this one I suggest the use of NPCs unless your PC is actually a solider, or bodyguard.
The planet was at the end point of the only well traveled hyperspace lane into the Rishi Maze. Native to the planet the Rishii were surprised when "shiny stones" started dropping off human and alien colonists around 60 BBY. This tropical planet contained forests, marshes, mountains and more importantly a rare element known as Exonium.
This metal which is extensively mined on the planet is useful for it's properties which allowed it produce energy and it's use in sonic weapons. The president of the local mining corporation on the planet is leaning towards allying this currently neutral company with the Republic. There are those on the board that disagree with this including one who is steadfastly against this and wants to support the new Empress.
While on route to leave the planet and solidify the plans the leader of the mining corporation is shot out of orbit by unknown hostiles and lands on the planet which is where this scenario will take place.
Empire: Your mission is simple assassinate the man in charge of the mines while keeping your presence here a secret. If you are captured or found out you are working for the empire you will be on your own.
Republic: Again this is simple, keep the president of the mines alive. You are part of his security detail, guards you are armed with small arms and small automatic weapons with little armour. You have to hold out against the attacks until a rescue force can be scrambled and picked up (30 minutes for the shuttle to be scuttled and an hour for it to get there.)
Hopefully there are some signups. Today is Friday and if there is enough people to sign up then I would like this to kick off on Sunday, and I will set a one week limit on it. We arent writing a novel, nor do we need epic back stories for each character just simple stories for us to read. For this particular RP the limit is 5 for the empire and 5 for the republic. Also sorry it's not fancy but mobile posts are hard to make this look good.
