Academy wing was a sprawling complex of chambers located throughout the Coruscant Jedi Temple. Each chamber was specially designed for the training of Jedi Initiates in the art of lightsaber combat, as well as the use of their Force powers.

Northeast Tower Sto'Vo'Kor was making his report on a terminal in the Northeast tower. His mission to quash a black market implant ring had gone well, though some evidence he had seen had disturbed him, presence of Coynite mercenaries in particular. Though his people often served as mercenaries, as he himself had done when he was a young warrior looking to make a name for himself, the force seemed to suggest to him there was more to it, though he had no concrete evidence to support this hypothesis. For now, he was tired, and he did not have anything to go on to make another move as yet. His mind slipped into meditation as he remembered the lessons of Master Thorror. Even now he could hear the growls and rumbling roar of the aged wookiee, translated through the belt mounted protocol droid he always kept with him.
The patient hunter gets the prey. The ferocity in your blood is akin to the ferocity in my own. If I have learned to look past it, so can you. You are a Jedi because you are meant to be one, and thus you are meant to overcome the anger and violence in your soul. Ask yourself this Sto'Vo'Kor; Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
Kor centered himself in the force, quieting the need to take immediate action in favor of waiting for the right moment. The time would come, when the Force willed that it should.

Nemo had been walking for far too long, he was not very familiar with the layout of the Jedi Temple. He had been a member of the Order for most of his life but had spent very little time on Coruscant since he was a youngling. Eventually he found his way to the base of the North East tower in search of two things, the Council of Reassignment and a Jedi Knight named Sto'Vo'Kor. He had spoken to an instructor and received a description of the Jedi Knight he sought and confirmation he was in the right tower. This was good news and fortuitous that he spied someone who looked very similar to the description he had just received around the next corner.
"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be Sto'Vo'Kor by any chance?"
He said, preparing to offer the Jedi a bow when he turned around. Nemo had not encountered a Coynite before and was curious about them, questions that would need to wait until later.

Kor had begun to doze in his chair, as he had not slept for some time and the mission had involved more a few hairy situations, try as he had to not use violence. When he heard someone mention his name he snapped awake and rose, turning to the voice. He was presented with a brown haired and eyed human male of middle years, standing around a foot and a half shorter than himself. He bowed his head slightly and spoke. "I am knight Sto'Vo'Kor. You may call me Kor, human. How may I help you?"
He noticed that the man wore a metal shield on his back and was surprised. He had never seen a Jedi with an actual hand held metal shield before. He smiled to himself though as he remembered that most had never seen a jedi wearing full armor as he did either.

Nemo bowed to the Knight as he would while greeting any fellow Jedi for the first time.
"Greetings Kor, my name is Nemo and I have sought you out for your assistance. I have been given a mission by the Council to investigate some rather disturbing reports on Corulag. Master Jade suggested I ask for your assistance in this. I'm also here to seek an apprentice from the Council of Reassignment. So, how do you fancy a trip to Corulag?"
Nemo realised he didn't know what the Jedi Knight had been doing prior to this. He could have just come from his own dangerous mission and not want to embark on another. Although the recommendation from Master Jade reassured him a little.

Kor was tired, but he knew his duty. If a fellow jedi asked for his aid, he was honor-bound to render it. He nodded, forcing the fatigue from his mind. "Of course. It would be my pleasure to aid you Master Nemo. I am prepared whenever you are."

"I am not sure how long my meeting with the Reassignment Council will last but my ship, the Zephyr, is docked in the hanger and a won't leave without you."
Nemo bowed slightly as he began to walk away further into the training wing. He was not entirely prepared for an apprentice but he felt it his duty to pass on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of Jedi.

Hexecter Hue entered a training room, and approached a computer terminal. He logged into his personnel file on the database, and began updating his details. If electronic data could get dusty, his would have been. Hex had not been around for quite some time, and as well as updating the status of certain skills that he had developed over the past few years, the main reason that he was on the terminal was to register his arrival and announce his availability for further training.

The meeting with the Council had been short as an apprentice who the council thought would best suit Nemo had just arrived. Nemo had been armed with a name and given a picture of his new padawan and informed he was in the Academy Wing now. The Jedi Master was once again looking for someone in the temple. He approached a couple of people unsuccessfully before he finally found Hexecter Hue. He walked up to the padawan and realised he was not sure if the council had told him about the arrangement. He'll have to muddle through.
"Good morning, my name is Master Nemo and I was wondering, are you Hexecter Hue?"
He said after bowing politely and trying not to rhyme obviously.

"Greetings, Master." Hex said, returning a bow to Nemo. "I am Hexecter... or Hex for short." he answered with an uncertain tone. He couldn't help but wonder if he might be in some sort of trouble, for perhaps being off the grid for so long, or for arriving unannounced. "Uhh, can I help you?" he asked, hoping that he wasn't about to be escorted off the premises.

"Why yes in fact you can help me. I have just come from a meeting with the Council of Reassignment and they informed me that you were without a Master at this time. I went before the Council because I am a Master without an apprentice and I think you know where this is going. Now, I am going on a mission for the High Council leaving very soon so I will put it bluntly, do you want to be my apprentice?"
Nemo spoke quickly and after he had finished looked quickly around to see if he could still see Sto'Vo'Kor.

Hexecter had been without a master for many years, and was a little stunned at how quickly the counsel were responding to his return, but he was was not blind to the stirrings of the galaxy. Glimpses of HNN reports and whispers on the streets in recent times had been all Hex needed to know that the Jedi would soon be stretched to their limits to keep the peace. It was one of the reasons he had come to this place, so it should have been of no surprise that it was down to business straight away, and yet, stunned he was.
Hex was not one to speak without thinking, so he did not answer Nemo immediately, first allowing a brief moment for the rapid words to settle in. Fortunately, his pause ended just short of being awkward. "I would be honoured to be your apprentice, Master. I will do my best to assist you and adopt your teachings." he said, meaning that he would do his best to try not to get in the way. "I am ready whenever you need me." he added. His only possessions were either clipped to his belt, or in his satchel bag that he wore over his shoulder, so he was literally ready to pack up and run at a moments notice.

"Excellent, I shall brief you and the Knight who is going to accompany us once we're aboard my ship. I don't see him around so he might be waiting for us in the hanger bay. The mission does have a sense of urgency so we should depart quickly, follow me."
Nemo was glad the padawan agreed but was a little annoyed they wouldn't have time to train a little in the Temple first. Plans were rarely stuck to in the Jedi line of work and so a more "learn on the job" approach would have to be taken. He was unsure if Sto'Vo'Kor had other business in the temple so he began to walk quickly towards where he thought the hanger bays were, Nemo had never been one for remembering directions.

"Yes, Master." Hex said, before following Nemo out of the room and toward the hangars. He could be of little assistance in finding their destination though, because despite possessing keen navigation and tracking skills in the wild, his own sense of direction was often diminished when in large structures of seemingly endless rooms and corridors. This is one of the many reasons why Hexecter would never be found near major shopping centres.

Shihab worked seemingly tirelessly, having for the last three hours done nothing but practice his Saber skills, especially working with his light-pike which offered a variety of variant postures and moves, while hampering many of the basic poses and balances of lightsaber combat. Sweat rolled down his scales but the cloth strip wrapped around hi wrist and palm kept his hands dry. He did not sing or chant, as some did, but merely focused on controlling his breathing while never once letting a hit land, which of course he was far less successful at than his breathing. Still, he manged to keep every hit light, and mostly insubstantial, though he was now covered in nicks and bruises. Things had been difficult on Ryloth, and Yavin IV before that, but he had survived, mostly do to his martial skills and excellent situational awareness. Now he waited for the golden tongue to call him forth and answer for the jedi's action on his world. On a brighter note, Shihab had heard that Casey should be returning to Coruscant soon, He hadn't seen her since he'd returned to Ryloth, as he'd known that Ryloth would be no place for a padawan.

-A Few Days Ago-
*Gavin made his way into the academy wing. This was what he figured as the training grounds at the Temple. He made his way inside, seeing no one around his particular area. It was good. With all he was carrying, he didn't want to alarm anyone. He moved to the vaults that Jade had spoke to him about. She requested his weapons be placed here during his stay, so he would honor that request so as to keep the peace. Slowly, he began pulling weapons off his person, looking at them for a moment before putting them away.
First came the sabers from the holsters on his legs. Twin lightsabers, one a black chrome with crimson accents the other being silver with sapphire accents. They were his oldest sabers, now one-hundred and fifty years old. They had served him well. Anytime he felt like using dual blades, it was always these two. They way they were built was on an attack/defense strategy. He looked first to the black, then the silver one.* "Deepstrike and Blockade." *He then placed them in the vault.
Following the first two came two from his belt. These were completely different blade. The one on his right was a simple silver, accented with black, a traditional style hilt. The other had a much more elegant look. Solid black with a gold design near the pommel, sapphire rings at the choke, and silver plates at the emitter. First to the simple, then to the elegant he spoke.* "Videl's Dark Shocker and Tierany's Blazing Light." *He then placed them inside.
From the back side of his belt, he pulled another lightsaber. It was a shadowy black chrome, etched with runes and inscriptions in a dirty white. The pommel came to a curved point and four small claws stuck over the emitter.* "Shadow Soul." *His only words as he placed the saber inside.
He then reached into his trench coat and pulled out a saberstaff. Its length was slightly longer than most, reaching twenty-five inches. Its hilt was a shadowy black chrome. Near the emitter of each side sit four, two inch long curves that looked sharp. All in all, the staff had a dark intimidating appearance to it.* "Kolk Illuminate." *With those words, he placed it inside. He shut and locked it before leaving the academy wing.*
-Present-
*It had been a few days since he came and left his weapons here. But now that it was time to go, it was time to collect them. He noticed that there was another in the area but paid him no mind as he walked up to the vault his sabers were left in. After opening it, he began putting them on his person one by one. Deepstrike, Blockade, Dark Shocker, Blazing Light, Shadow Soul, then finally, Kolk Illuminate. He took a breath and looked around. He was entranced by the area and figure he still had a little time he could spend here, getting a good look at everything.*

*Gavin had spent a little time in the Academy Wing, just admiring the area. This was where students learned lightsaber combat and to work on their Force abilities. Compared to most training grounds, this was by far the most elegant and beautifully designed. But despite that, he wondered why it would be so nicely designed. Sure, it was the central temple for the Jedi, more than a place for training but a place of meaning. But he always viewed the training area to be the most basic of rooms, built simply for training. He imagined it being built as a place that could handle punishment, when it came to the normal style of training rooms. Their were so many types one could find useful, environmental styles used to adapt to fighting in a particular style terrain, obstacle course styles meant to enhance one's physical capabilities, then the special types that pushed the mind and body beyond what it would face in normal situations. But to each their own.
He gave another glance over before turning and leaving the area, his trench coat floating behind him.*

Shihab sprayed some bacta on his wounds, finally feeling their stinging pain. The bacta quickly negated the pain and began the healing process, so after a about ten minutes in a healing trance, the bacta and force had removed any sign of damage, though they did nothing for the scars that he had acquired previously. He spent a few moments in the public fresher washing the grime from his scales before dressing in Jedi robes, He hated the things, but that was all they had here, so he tolerated them, barely. He decided to head to the hangar area and do some more work the old Z-3 he had purchased on Ryloth. Shihab slipped his light-pike over his shoulder, and checked to be sure that he'd be able to retrieve his charric from the concealed shoulder holster he'd had to have custom made for it, then moved out into the halls of the Great Temple.
