Reaching a point the tail end of a Wayfarer slipping into an asteriod belt was clearly visible Ciarán bellowed
-Ciarán-
“There!!! Turn! Now!”
Almost any pilot would have called him a fool. But this was a IF pilot who spent years flying for a criminal enterprise. He didn’t need ask where they were going. And at that they proceeded - carefully. As the other Wayfarer disappeared they to slipped into the belt

Traffic on the hyperspace lane was hectic. A considerable flow into the asteroid belt was noticeable. So too were the explosions telling of ultimate failure to enter

Traffic was common on the hyperspace lane. So the monumental shift in balance that this all reflected in a small world was was little more than a speck of hairdust in the greater scheme of things. Yet to many it was everything. And it all blew over like dust in the wind. The great explosion that occurred on the asteroid belt and how An Tiarna was pasted on those coarse rocks became the thing of legend

A mass of Wayfarer leave the asteroid belt, as they entered and depart into the hyperspace lane and depart with speed

The same Wayfarer, hardly slowing down as it lit up outer space like a star, entered orbit

After an agonising trek through hyperspace a ship mindlessly cut into the asteroid field. Say goodnight

The ride was long. Neither of the girls would not have felt the agony of such however, having passed out from exhaustion about 10 minutes into the hyperspace lane. The voyage neared an end. Bez awoke with a start. How long had they been moving? She spoke
-Bez-
"Take it into the belt."

Hitting hyperspace he gunned it wishing to be as far away from all of this as he possibly could be

A Wayfarer slipped from the field and cruised down the hyperspace highway. Inside the two spoke -Ciarán- "I don't like the smell of this at all...." Laoch answered -Laoch- "Do I offend?" Ciaran turned his head to Laoch -Ciarán- "I mean figuratively. Something is wayyyyy off."

A group of ships led by a Wayfarer entered hyperspace and moved onward, it and anything related to it disappeared into the void of empty space

A long time ago...
Admiral, decks five through 9 are vented, decks ten and eleven reporting casualties.
The ship rocked as another salvo ripped across the hull. The aged and retrofitted Acclamator was already struggling to keep itself together, but under the onslaught, its time was neigh
Navigation, report!
Admiral, we are full stop, maneuvering thrusters-
Fine! Comms!?
We've sent out a distress signal to the fleet, but they aren't going to make it here in time.
Fine, call it.
She hit the comms channel for the entire crew to hear.
This is Admiral Dees speaking. All hands, abandon ship. Rescue as many as you can and head for the shuttles. This order supersedes all others and cannot be overridden. All hands, abandon ship.
She turned to her bridge crew who stared at her with paralyzed fear. She was stunned by their inaction
Idiots, that’s an order! Move!
They stood, saluted her, and ran off the bridge. She slumped into her seat as the ship rocketed from another salvo.
Dee, they are attempting to board the ship. Shall I hold them off?
The soothing sounds of AVI were what she needed in this moment. She nodded as she began to program in the ships self-destruct sequence.
Very well. Preparing to vent forward compartments.
She got up and trotted to her quarters. Grabbing her go-bag, she had almost everything she needed. Beside her bed was a holoframe that she snatched without a second thought. Blaster, check. Bag, check. She grabbed a water bottle on her way out and ran for the hangar, stumbling as more explosions ripped through the ship.
The hallways were empty. The droning alarms echoed through the vacant space, and she almost forgot for a moment where she was. She was on autopilot as she jumped into the ancient fighter. It was already started and ready for her.
Dee, we have only minute before the anti-matter core goes. Shall I plot a course?
She took a deep breath. No, she had this. She pulled one of many tiny crystal spheres from her bracelet and crushed it in her palm. Inhaling the dust, reality faded.
Surrounded by darkness, she looked around as filaments began to weave around her. A vast tapestry unfolded before her, and she began walking. She was no longer in the pilot seat of the fighter but walking in an infinite space where she became space and time. Looking over her shoulder, she could see the looming explosion of space-time emanating from the self-destructing anti-matter core. Focus. Breathe.
She began walking, tracing a path through the void, finding the fastest route home. Through an asteroid field, between a trinary system, and slingshotting around a white dwarf. Satisfied, she leaned back, falling into the pilot’s seat.
She began punching in the formula as AVI lifted the fighter off the hangar deck.
Dee.
I have it.
We have only seconds
AVI!
She finished the calculation and punched the drive system. There was a pause and for a moment, she panicked. The fighter should have jumped by-
