Slipping from the asteroid field a ship hit the hyperspace lane and scurried off like a rat materializing from under the fridge and crossing the kitchen floor. Music in motion

IokathAnd there is was. Iokath. The massive artificial sphere created around a star. As the Decadent Fury, Xander's Crescent-Class Transport, exited hyperspace, the Sith Lord gazed upon the world. It would be here that the Eternal Empire would begin to rise anew. It would be here that he himself would harness the power of the Eternal Fleet and use it to spread his Empire throughout the galaxy. Once he had gained control of the Eternal Fleet, he would become unstoppable...It was a marvelous sight to behold. The birthplace of the Eternal Fleet. Awe-inspiring, some would say. But Iokath was home to many, many secrets. And some of those secrets were better left buried. Xander knew this. And despite the temptation, he came here for one purpose. To locate and harness the power of the Eternal Fleet.Piloting the craft closer to the planet, suddenly the proximity alarms were blaring and the next thing he knew, Xander was slipping into unconsciousness...

Iokath
Slowly, his consciousness returned to him. Laying prone on the ground, the sound of faint humming and ticking greeted his ears. Machinery at work. Slowly opening his eyes, he blinked twice to refocus his vision. Adjusting to the dimly light locale, Xander pushed himself up to his knees. His freshly tailored Emperor's Mantle, a custom made suit of armor for him, was scuffed and scratched. Brushing himself off, he rose slowly to his feet. Upon a quick inspection of himself, he noted he wasn't injured. Aside from being slightly stiff from laying prone in one position too long, he was fit to fight, should the need arise. Glancing around, he took in his surroundings. It appeared as though he was in some sort of crypt. At the center of the room was a platform with some odd looking device sitting on it. Or it could be a sarcophagus, he thought to himself. The sudden voice speaking out of thin air startled him, though he regained his composure quickly.
Ah, you are awake. Good. Despite the millenia of maintaining Iokath's arsenal, I was unsure of your survival. Tell me, who are you and why have you come here?
Looking around for the source of the voice, Xander replied, knowing that he would have to humor whomever it was that was digging for information.
"I am Xander Savage, Emperor of the Eternal Empire. I come seeking the Eternal Fleet."
A mechanical chuckling could be heard.
Emperor, you say? A bold claim. The Eternal Empire faded out several millenia ago. The Eternal Fleet has returned to Iokath, as it was programmed to do. Why do you seek the Fleet, Emperor Savage? For power? For revenge? For justice?
Scowling, he replied.
"I seek it to spread the light that is the Eternal Empire. I seek it to bring a broken galaxy to justice for the crimes they have wrought."
Indeed. Perhaps what you claim is true? Perhaps not. You defy all logical reasoning for your continued existence, Emperor Savage. Biological scans indicated that you are well over ten centuries old. What are you?
At this, Xander rolled his eyes. He was getting annoyed with this line of questioning. Sighing in annoyance, he replied.
"I am a Zabrak. Older than you can fathom. I bore witness to the rise of the first Eternal Empire. I watched it be wielded like a weapon, carelessly, at the hands of Arcann, and watched it fracture and break completely under the reign of Empress Vaylin. Because they were unworthy. And then it became the Eternal Alliance. A shell of it's former glory...I have come to right the wrongs of the past and bring the Eternal Empire back to the glory envisioned by Valkorion himself...so...ARIES, what test am I going to have to complete in order to get out of here? I know this is how you play your games. And you will find that I am more than capable of handling whatever it is you choose to throw at me..."
There was a brief pause, and then the voice spoke again.
Very astute, Emperor Savage. Perhaps you will succeed in my trials, perhaps not...but first you have to find your way out of the Necropolis...can you do it? Will you succeed where many others have failed horrendously? We shall see.
And with that ARIES's voice ceased. The rushing sound of rocket boosters could be heard. And then came the sounds of blasters being fired. With a smirk, Xander instinctively ignited the forward facing blades of his forearm mounted blades. Noting that ARIES was using Skytroopers against him, he grinned. Deflecting the shots back with a precision honed by decades of training, Xander began to take note of the situation. The Skytroopers were coming in from above. Then that became his way out. Extinguishing the right blade, Xander sprinted towards the nearest Skytrooper. Summoning the Force around him, he jumped up on the Skytrooper, pushing off of its head. Aided by the Force, he timed the jump so he could latch himself on to another Skytrooper. Sinking his blade into it's chest, he hurled himself to the next droid, repeating the process several times until at last he was one jump away from the access point. Leaping from the final Skytrooper, Xander cleared the access point. Stabbing his saber blade into the control panel, the doors slid shut. Breathing heavily from the physical exertion, Xander extinguished the left blade. Bellowing out, he hollered to ARIES.
"Deem me worthy or don't. It makes little difference to me, but the Eternal Fleet WILL be mine! I'm coming for you, and I will find you ARIES. Prepare yourself!"
And with that, Xander took off at a jog, heading up the access port the Skytroopers had been using...

Emptiness. That’s all that was around him. He could feel it. The stars glittering in the distance, countless planets around them. All filled with life. Waiting to be exploited. And he could feel the cold, empty space that surrounded him. He couldn’t say exactly where he was. Somewhere near Zakuul, as far as he could tell. That meteor shower had done more damage than expected. He was stuck here, at least until some form of machine came along that he could take over. And there was no one. Not for miles around him. Aboard the ship, it was almost surreal. Rows upon rows of deactivated battle droids. With the lights cut, it was pitch black, save for the red emergency lights, that could barely illuminate each individual droid, casting eerie shadows upon the walls. But this was by design. TAURUS was waiting for someone. Someone he could infect with his AI. Someone to take him somewhere. He was at peace here, allowed to think. But, he had enough peace. He ad been thinking for at least 3 millennia. All while he ammassed enough wealth through a number of shell companies and the big heist he pulled on the IGBC. He had come up with millions of strategies, just while sitting. Allowing the memories of those around him to feed him information. From the memories of a particular man, a Naval Officer of some kind, he had learned countless things about the galaxy. And enough time had been spent in waiting. Now was the time for action.

Eternal Empire Territory - Northern Border. The Victory II-Class Star Destroyer, identified at Renegade, emerged from hyperspace at the coordinated provided by the Emperor's A.I, Warden Savage. Off its port bow, drifted a Lucrehulk-Class Battleship. Captain Vincent Pax stood on the bridge observing the view as reports flooded in."Sir, no life signs detected!" reported one Officer. "Minimal power as well, sir. Reactors are cold and she's drifting." reported another.Puffing on his non-regulation pipe, he issued orders as a bluish-grey smoke encircled his head."Bring us in closer. Prep a boarding party and be prepared to set Condition One, just in case this is a trap."As his orders were carried out, the ship moved in closer to the Lucrehulk. A boarding party was scrambled and made its way to the hangar as a shuttle was prepped to bring the across to the drifting ghost...

Movement. He felt movement. Like a rock piercing the serene surface of a pond, he felt movement around him. Not in the traditional sense, of course. He couldn’t feel much of anything. But through the ship’s sensors, he could feel. This side of him, the personality, was waging a constant war to get out of its cell, manifesting itself in thoughts like this. There it was again. It occurred to him briefly that this made him unstable, but it was no matter. Focusing on combat often subdued the other side of him. As the advanced boarding party stepped into the hangars of the vessel, he activated his Vulture Droids. Not necessarily to fight them, no, he needed them to reach him. Rather, to fool the imbeciles who controlled them. In he dark hangar, as the boarding party walked through it, many slit-like eyes opened. 1,400 individual eyes, to be exact. They would do little, if not highten the awareness of the other droids on board. He would engineer their destruction in such a way that they would strike the final blows themselves. Leaving one. As they proceeded up the hangar bay, one noted a small stash of munitions in a corner. Not paying them much mind, they continued on. It was at this moment that he sprung the first trap. Dozens of containers, munitions, and Vulture Droids landed in a pile, barring exit from the hangar. The Skytroopers were trapped. And this was only the beginning of his plans. All across the ship, thousands of air locks, traps, and security doors lay in their path. It had been at least a decade since he had last fought somebody. He was going to enjoy this.

As the Renegade hung off the port side of the Lucrehulk, Captain Pax continued to monitor the situation, unaware of what was going on inside the vessel...
Meanwhile...
The Captain of the Skytrooper detachment sent inside, ordered his troopers to fan out and secure the corridor they were in. Trying the comms, they were effectively jammed, trapping them from outside contact. Scanning the vicinity, the captain stepped forward and called out.
By order of the Eternal Empire, you are hereby ordered to cease and desist your activities. We have been ordered by the Throne to investigate a disturbance in this location. Show yourself and you will not be harmed. Resist and you will be subject to defensive action.
Being a droid, the Skytrooper wasn't able to deviate from it's parameters, however, as with the rest of the Eternal Empire's droids, they were intelligent and capable of analyzing various situation and adapting to them appropriately.

Iokath - Tributary
Emerging from the Necropolis, Xander stood within the Tributary on Iokath. A historical location, to be sure, but one that wouldn't remain secure for long, given the fact that ARIES was testing him. Around him, there were storage lockers and compartments. Obviously a rarely used location, even by ARIES. Snooping through the rooms Xander came across a deactivated droid. An @disgruntledrobot unit, to be exact. Over the many millenia of life, Xander had witnessed the rise of the HK-55 units, but this one was different. Knowing that combat prowess of these droid units, Xander stepped closer and reactivated the droid, hoping he didn't have to slag it once it realized where it was...

A deep voice came over the ships sound system. This was one of the ways in which he deterred attackers. The sound came from all around the droids, putting their sensors on high alert. True, it was a psychological tactic that worked better in humans, but it didn’t particularly matter.“Surrender... why would I when I hold all the cards...” TAURUS then laughed before the speaker system resonated it around the Skytroopers and then vanished. At the same time, he dislodged a single proton torpedo from the rack of them against the wall. It had been done so in such a way that it rolled up and knocked into one of the Skytroopers. Knowing their programming, they would most likely fire upon the torpedo, destroying those near to it.

ZODIAC could still remember the day his neural processes came online and he was birthed into his current form. He was to control a massive space station known as a Star Fortress. Capable of turning the surface of a world to glass with its main weapon. And for a time, he worked on his Star Fortress. The Eternal Empire ran test after test after test. Making sure that ZODIAC could better perform the duties of running a station than the EPHEMERIS system.
And then, it all stopped. Time seemed to blank out. When he woke up, several centuries had passed and his Star Fortress no longer orbited Zakuul. ZODIAC had taken a while to figure out exactly where his home had been relocated to. But eventually, after several scans, and making the trip down to the surface. He found he had been moved to the hidden world of Iokath. A technological marvel which had remained off any known map for generations

As the HK unit was reactivated, it began to run a system analysis on itself as well as scan the very large man standing before him. Statement:Hk-99 ready to serve, Master. Observation: Oh great it appears they decided to put me in a storage locker, how degrading. Query: Are you the meatbag who had the bright idea to store this unit in a storage locker? HK-99's scan of the large meatbag in front of him was now complete. The scan indicated that the meatbag was a Zabrak which was obvious due to the crown of horns on its head. The scan also indicated that something about the Zabrak meatbag was off, and the scan could not identify what was "off" about the meatbag. around the sametime the system analysis that was initiated was completed. Statement: Accessing memory core...... This strange I have no memory of you. It would appear that you rescued me from a fate of a expensive dust collector. Observation: My internal systems are recognizing you as my new master. Query: Would you like anything killed, Master? The HK-99 unit's head pivorted searching for his rifle, once found the HK-99 unit picked it up and stood waiting for commands from his new master.

Storage Facility. As the droid returned to active status, Xander observed it. Deflective, dry humor and a penchant for calling all organics meatbags. It would seem that someone seemed to favor the attitude of the infamous HK-47 when programming this droid. He smirked as the droid collected its rifle and identified him as his new master. A personal assassin droid. A useful tool, to be certain."Provided you are more useful than your previous iterations would indicate, I am going to kill ARIES, the droid keeper of this world, and reclaim the Eternal Fleet! And I could use your skill set. So, how about it, Ninety-Nine? Are you willing to kill for your new master?"Grinning, the Zabrak observed the droid, knowing that it was thinking about the question he has just posed to it.

The HK-99 unit walked towards its new master, and stopped in front of the meatbag that was the master, then began to answer its question.
Statement: Why of course master, Killing is my main function. Query: Do you know how to find the one called ARIES?
HK-99 stood before the Zabrak waiting on its reply, all the while it was running a systems check on its assassination programming.

Looking down at the droid before him, Xander smirked. A droid willing to kill on his command. And, if he recalled correctly, the droid was aptly trained in assassination. Certainly a useful tool to have at his disposal. Eyeing the droid up for a few moment, he replied to the droid's question."I do not know where ARIES resides, but rest assured, I will find him, even if I have to dismantle the entire planet, piece by piece..."Trailing off, Xander clenched his jaw in frustration. ARIES held all of the cards, so to speak, which put him at a disadvantage. However, with the discovery of HK-99, the odds shifted in his favor, it seemed. Motioning to the droid, the white armored Zabrak spoke once more."Ninety-nine. Diagnostic report. Are your assassination protocols intact?"Even if the droid's primary assassination protocols weren't currently functioning, these droids were capable of wielding a staggering array of weaponry. He would be an asset to the Emperor, regardless of how damaged he was. And Xander intended to utilize the droid to it's fullest capabilities.

Eternal Empire Territory - Northern Border. On board the Renegade, Captain Pax continued to monitor the situation. Odd power fluctuations throughout the Lucrehulk-Class Battleship. Knowing this could potentially be the prelude to a trap, he issued his orders."Power up all port-side ion cannons and ready the tractor beams. Be ready to fire on my mark!"As his orders were carried out, Calus Varkan, Commander of the ship's Exarch complement had arrived."Captain. You summoned me?"Turning to the cybernetically augmented Knight before him, Pax nodded."I did, Commander. Our boarding party is undoubtedly run into trouble. Gather a team and insert on the other side of the ship. We'll keep you covered from here."Inclining his head in acknowledgement, Varkan replied."By the will of the Throne. It shall be done."Leaving Pax on the bridge, Calus went to carry out his orders.Meanwhile...Skytrooper designated 2401, heard the response and replied once more. The will of the Throne is clear. Surrender or be destroyed. No sooner had the Skytrooper spoken, the rear of the group took note of the loose proton torpedo. Weapons leveled, they watched it as it rolled and finally bumped into the legs of one of the troopers. While most average battle droids would have fired upon it at this point, the Skytroopers were far from average. While they were unable to deviate from their set programming parameters, they also were capable of some small degree of adaptation on the battlefield, giving them the edge over traditional battle droids. ST-2401 bent over to retrieve the torpedo. This is an unacceptable response to our demands...prepare for the engagement of hostilities if you do not desist from your current course of action. At this point, it was more of an unintentional delaying tactic than anything else. But it would give time for Commander Varkan to get on board...

The HK unit began to run a diagnostic report on its primary functions.
Diagnostic Report: Assassination protocols are my primary function, which are intact. Query: Is that satisfactory, Master? Observation: My scans are picking up a large output of energy, coming from what appears to be a.... control room. Statement: It has been some time since i was last activated, therefore my map of the area is not up to date.
Internal systems within the HK unit activated and a holographic map of the old facility began to be displayed from the optics of the Hk unit.
Statement: According to my current data, the control room was here. Hk pointed to where the control was located according to his data. Statement: I suggest that we find a terminal so that I may update my map data.

Nodding in approval, Xander viewed the map of the area as HK displayed it.
"Agreed. Let's move. I have a fleet to recover..."
He had come here for one purpose: To locate the Eternal Fleet. And now he had managed to acquire an assassination droid. All in all, it could be worse. And having gathered up an assassination droid such as HK-99 was certainly beneficial. More so to him than the Empire, but still beneficial.
"Where is the nearest terminal, Ninety-nine?"

Viewing the map data, Hk-99 determined that the nearest terminal was close by.
Observation: According to the map data the closest terminal is just two hundred feet away, down that corridor.
Hk-99 pointed towards the nearby corridor. Hk started to walk down the corridor with its weapon drawn and ready to fire, Hk-99 was more of the shoot first ask questions later type of droid.

As the droid began leading the way, weapon at the ready, Xander couldn't help but smirk once more. Despite being a droid, it certainly had some...flair...to its personality. And Xander could appreciate that. Falling into step behind the droid, Xander allowed his perceptions to extend beyond the corridor they had just entered. The irritatingly familiar sound of rocket boosters could be heard. Stopping in his tracks, he barked an order at HK.
"Get to the terminal. Update your map and get me a location of that scrap-heap ARIES!"
Turning to face the incoming threat, Xander chuckled. Igniting both forward facing blades of his forearm mounted lightsabers, he began deflecting blaster fire back at the incoming Skytroopers. Walking forward in the process, the Zabrak began to hack and slash at his foes once they were within striking distance.
"Is this the best you've got ARIES?!? Your pitiful Skytroopers can't defeat the likes of me! You'll have to do much better than that!" roared the Zabrak angrily.
The Skytroopers continued to press against Xander, but he held the line, allowing HK to carry out his orders...

Following it's master's orders the HK unit sprinted down the corridor towards the terminal. Hk-99 could hear its master fighting inferior droids. Once at the terminal, HK plugged itself in and began to download updated map data as its was outdated. Once HK acquired the updated map data, it unplugged and headed back towards its master. As the HK unit was in firing range it targeted the remaining Skytroopers' head and proceeded to fire a single shot for each droid. Once its radar indicated that all hostile droids were eliminated it walked slowly towards its master.
Observation: Those droids were of inferior design. Statement: I have the updated map data, master. Observation: It would appear that they are several dozen more corridors than previous map data indicated.
HK-99 displayed the updated map data that it acquired from the terminal, just down the corridor.
Statement: We should hurry to the Control room Master, as my radar indicates that several patrols of Skytroopers are inbound to own location, as well as a large enemy signature that I have no data on.
