Bakura was a rich, green and blue planet in the Bakura system of the Shiritoku Spur, located on the isolated edge of the Outer Rim, formally a part of Wild Space.

The room shook Te Prudii dropped out of hyperspace, slightly throwing its occupants off balance in doing so. Carmine continued to speak as he adjusted his stance, he had been filling Alex in on the details of his mission as well as where he had been and what he had been doing. He missed no details, but withheld whatever information he deemed "private". As he spoke, the slender man brushed a lock of hair out of his face and began to look at the room's holoprojector.
"The time for weeping over what was is now over Alex, it's time to reclaim our place in the galaxy, don't you agree?" Carmine chuckled. "Oh, and it appears that we've safely arrived in Bakura's orbit."
The man did not move from his position, but continued to examine the holographic image of the planet that they were currently orbiting.

Alex smirked as Itachi was thrown slightly off balance. He had been leaning on the the wall, listening to the Sith speak, and was prepared when Te Prudii exited hyperspace, shaking the entire ship for a moment. After all, he had been flying around in this ship for well over a decade. He was used to her little quirks.
"I've never heard of anything like these crystals before? And you said they were created by Tuskens? If Ezran was still around we could just ask him...."
Alex went silent for a moment, but shrugged and got off the wall, standing upright. Itachi was right. The past was the past. There was nothing they could do about it. All that mattered was they worked towards the future.
"So is that your play, Itachi? Rip the Old Man off and take the crystal for yourself? I can't say I blame you, but its a dangerous move. Even I wouldn't want to piss the mummy off, at least not by betraying him anyway."
Alex was blunt, he always had been. He considered it one of his best qualities, but sometimes confronting someone like Itachi about betraying someone such as Jud'dayus, it could seem like one of his worst.
"Still....I suppose you have your reasons. Anything else I should know, while we're waiting on his new pet to catch up to us?"

As Alex mentioned Carmine's plan to betray Jud'dayus, the Sith turned his head slightly and gave a twisted smile before turning back to the projector. His plan most certainly was dangerous, but he didn't care, the old man was clearly weaker than ever, it was visible in the way he moved. Still, as arrogant as he was Carmine knew better to underestimate the old Sith, he knew he would have to be careful when he dealt with him. Not giving the matter any more thought, Carmine turned to face Alex, leaning back against the projector while doing so.
"Hmm.." The figure raised a hand to his chin, as if to express that he was giving the question deep thought. "Not really, just be prepared for the events to come."
After giving that last, brief statement, Carmine stood up and began to walk out of the room, heading for the command deck.

The Simic exited Hyperspace and coasted back into the void of real space. Everything was nominal, as the droids did their post-jump checks and started for their reentry procedures. Xxoxia sat on the command throne and just stared out at the 'Te Prudii'. It was a big ship, but she could fire upon it, she had the armaments to damage their engines and accompanying systems before the wounded beast would be able to put up it's shields, or a descent fight. The Simic was in the ship's blind spot, and in a moment's time could make the 'Te Prudii' a useless drifting hulk.
Xia smiled at the thought. "And you thought leaving me to bring up the rear was a good idea, because I'm a useless woman, huh?" She said softly calculating if she would undertake the attack or if she'd allow Carmin and his friend to go with her, on what should have been HER mission. "J2, plot a targeting solution on the Te Prudii's engines, aft armaments and shield deflectors..."
The droid looked back to Xia without an acknowledging chime, its blank plate metal face conveying confusion even without the physical ability to show it. But Mistress.
"Did you not understand, J2? That was an order!" Xia screamed at the droid before smiling coolly. "Just plot the solutions and give me a percentage of success... please."
As you wish, Mistress. Finished the droid, moving from its copilot position to another set of monitors before speaking again. Solutions plotted. Engines 90%, aft turret 40%, aft shield array %20.
Xia's brow nit in thought, and the young woman was silent on the command throne for several minutes before speaking again. "Do you have our course plotted for landing?"
Yes Mistress.
"Then fire on their engines. Only raise the shields afterwards... immediately break of to the surface after the volley. Understood?"
The droids chimed an acknowledgement in unison, as the Simic let out a volley of quad laser fire before evasively maneuvering away from the 'Te Prudii' and heading directly for the planet below. Xia just laughed at the roll-a-coaster ride of evasion, she didn't need to open communications with Alex, she knew he'd understand what she just did. It was a "see you suckers later" kind of message.

Alex followed behind Itachi, and had began talking about the upgrades he had done to much of Te Prudii's systems.
"The plating on critical places on the hull have been overdone with impervium, about a meter, for adequate protection against most forms of blaster fire. The med bay has been restocked and is full automated with a surgical suite for emergencies. I've had some close calls in the past, so it was necessary. The navigational AI has been outfitted with defensive and offensive hacking software, for an extra edge in combat...."
Te Prudii rocked to the side as it took fire from the Simic, though this development was unknown to the two people within. The lights flickered but stayed on. Alex cursed and ran to the bridge, continually cursing with every step of the way. He entered the bridge and a reading of Bakura with all ships in the vicinity.
"Where the hell did that come from!?"
Droid binary came out through the comms in the bridge. Alex's face contorted into anger, and he slammed his fist into a wall, denting it. On a screen a layout of the Crusader-class Corvette lit up, the engines were flashing red, the two rear turrets flashing yellow. Power was flowing to them but they were inoperable.
"Use secondary thrusters the maneuver and bring our port side around to face her. Open fire with laser cannons one and two on current position firing solutions. Turrets three through five track her movements and fire where she's headed. Fire forward point defense laser cannon as well. Cripple her."
Te Prudii's secondary thrusters engaged, bringing the Corvette about, its port side facing the Simic, and opened fire, green bolts flying towards the shuttle. The forward point defense laser cannon lit up, and moments later let out a volley of its own.

Klaxons in the Simic started to blare, as the ship darted and banked away from the 'Te Prudii'.
"Report!" Xia yelled over the alarms.
The Te Prudii is coming about and charging weapons, Mistress. Replied J2 uneventfully.
"Aren't we already out of weapon's range?" Xia asked.
Negative, Mistress, 300 meters and closing, until maximum range is established. J2 nodded. Cannon fire inbound.
"Well..." Xia yelled. "Get this thing moving. I don't want that arsehole to have something easy to shoot at."
No sooner had the words left her lips than the Simic went into a roll, taking evasive maneuvering as the 'Te Prudii's' laser cannons spat out lancing ribbons of green. The ship was buffeted by the proximity of the shots, but the shields were holding at the moment. "How much further?" Xia yelled, as she held herself tight to the throne.
180 meters...
Then there was a shudder, red lights ignited on several of the counsels around the cockpit. "Report!"
Cannon fire hits on port side ventral wing and compartment, aft shields holding but a 30%, minor fire in wing superstructure, Distance 60 meters, aft turret returning fire. answered J2 in a clipped tone.
"Can we still land?" Xia asked, maybe starting to question what she had done.
Affirmative, +70 meters, out of effective targeting range, shall we decrease speed to reentry protocols?
Xia slumped back in the throne and sighed. This wasn't going to be easy to explain away. "Yes, continue normal protocol to the surface." The droids let out a chime and the Simic started it's first steps to the surface.

Alex growled out of anger as his helmet unfolded itself to cover his head, forming an airtight seal. Looking at the readout on the engines, the started mumbling to himself about what he was gonna do to a certain little osik once he got his hands on her. Alex went down to the maintenance room, where the astromech droids would normally be, but of course Alex didn't like droids so he had traded them all in for parts for the ship. He slung a hard-pack and tool belt onto his armor, and headed to the access hatch.[/spand]
Keep watch while I go out and repair the engines from the outside. Make sure we aren't caught off guard again. That little wretch is gonna pay for this
Alex sealed the hatch behind him and opened the hatch opening out to space. Going EVA wasn't something he enjoyed doing, but he didn't really have much of a choice this time. His boots' magnets activated and he walked out to the rear, opening a panel and began searching for anything damaged and initiating repairs.
Why did she turn on us? I thought Jud had ordered her to play nice; isn't that what you said? Is this playing nice!? Damaging my ship!?

Carmine had been leaning on one of the command deck's computer consoles, merely watching as Alex shouted commands to the ship's A.I. He had been unusually calm considering the situation, not displaying even the slightest amount of worry or care.
What an interesting twist, I can't say that this was entirely unforeseen though. Hmm, still I must give the young woman credit, she certainly has moxie. However, she has no idea what she has just initiated. Carmine smiled. I'm afraid she may have just bitten off more than she could chew.
The Sith shrugged and stood up straight, this certainly proved to be an inconvenience, but it was no matter; Carmine would have his prize, no matter the cost. The robed figure moved now over to the ship's radar and watched as The Simic quickly began moving out of range. The girl was lucky, but then...maybe not, time would tell.
How long do you think it will be until we're fully operational?

Alex shrugged, and then realized no one was there to see him shrug, as he was out in space. Thoughts about rumors of invisible beings watching his every move made him shrug again, when he also realized he did not care. The flame of his plasma torch went blue, and light the light flickered as he cut away another section of plating to get to the components beneath.
Not long. One of the power conduits for the engines is busted. I'm gonna bypass it. It's a temporary fix until I can get a new one, but it should be good for a few jumps....hopefully it won't overload secondary systems....hopefully....
Alex removed the plating he had cut away, using a magnet to stick it to another part of the ship so it wouldn't float away. He began the bypass, and started a casual conversation was he worked.
She won't have anything to chew with once I get done with her. Vol would piss his pants if he was here....Whatever happened....you know what? I don't really care.

Carmine smiled as he silently moved away from the radar. He felt, no, he knew that things would soon become quite interesting. The girl certainly had made quite a bold move, though in this case that bold move was about as smart as blindly swinging a stick at a hornet's nest. However, regardless of the amusing drama that had begun to unfold, Carmine's focus was still set on his prize. The robed figure stopped in front of the command deck's viewport and crossed his arms behind his back, his smile now fading slightly.
Croaked.......presumably. He was quite old you know.
"Vol Serafi".....that name had not crossed the Sith's mind in quite some time. Carmine briefly thought back to the days when he, Vol, and Alex used to travel the stars together. He recalled that they were both incredibly annoying in their own way, but they were still trusted allies nonetheless. "You're still out there somewhere aren't you? Hmph, more or less enjoying what could be called a 'retirement'." The Sith thought as he continued to gaze out of the viewport.

As Alex finished bypassing the coupling, the blinking red indicators went green, and stayed that way. Alex began welding the plating he had taken off back on.
Old for us. Maybe not for him. Those Changelings are long lived. I doubt he's dead. Probably keeping eyes on us. Sound about right for him
With the plating welded back into place, Alex grabbed everything floating around and walked back to the airlock. Re-entering the ship, he immediately headed the the bridge, where he double checked the trajectory of the Simic, tracked by Te Prudii's long range sensors. His helmet folded down to show his face and his smile. He pointed to the red triangle on the map of the planet.
"Follow the little piece of osik down and let's catch us a traitor. Get your ponytail ready, Itachi."
Te Prudii began warming up its weapons and began a fast descent towards the planet's surface.

Out of Hyperspace, a lone black A-wing traveled it's way towards Bakura. Enam, making flight corrections as he came closer to the planet, activated his ship's long range sensors to isolate Jud'dayus' ship signature from any other read. While he waited for the results of the scans to be produced, he slowly loosened his tight grip on the flight controls. Nervousness gripped him since he's left Tatooine, and this task he's been charged was reason enough to justify it.
His agitation needed to be eased if he were to commit to the task of facing his old friends to accomplish his goal, which for the first time in a long span of years never needed to happen. Surely the years spent hunting down fearsome opponents during his leave of the desert planet he called home polished his abilities, and bred some new skills that allowed him to comfortably take confidence in himself, but the level of danger involved with the company he's kept could not set aside as though it were nothing to consider.
"So that's Bakura... I should have visited here while I had time to kill." Scoffs as he let himself entertain the thought.
He only permitted himself to think on his approach to the planet, purging his thoughts and sentiments out to further increase his focus. Soon, as he approached the planet close enough to establish an orbit, he kicked in auto pilot so allow himself what time he had to wait for the scan results to rest. With everything that happened when he came home, and the possibility of some heavy trials ahead, he was going to need it.

Though taking longer than it needed to, Enam's sensors picked up on the signal from the Simic. He pondered over its present course, narrowing his eyes at the screen. The old man's ship was flying rather low, which made him wonder over the unusual behavior, but he merely decided to wait out for it to stop. Once it does, he planned on descending near it to rendezvous with the errand-runner of the old man's. A second signal came to light on the monitor Enam looked at, flying close to the same flight path at a greater speed. While concerned, he waited for any seemingly hostile actions to warrant a response in kind. Itachi was there, and the element of surprise was vital in Enam's mind.
"Sorry Itachi, I'm not going to let you just scamper off with my one shot at getting the old man." He mumbled, chewing away at some jerky.

*On the edge of the Bakura system long range sensors can just pick up the faint traces of what appear to be the chillingy familiar sight of Ssi-Ruu warships exiting hyperspace with weapons charged and shields up.*
1 Skar'lak-Class Destroyer "Pride of Lwhekk" Armament: 150 Duel Turbolasers 100 Ion Cannons 30 Point Laser Defense systems 70 Missile Launchers
2 Drech'nacth Class Missile Cruisers "Vengance"& "War Claw" Armament (5) 10 Long Range Heavy Turbolasers 240 Missile Launchers (holds up to 30 Concussion Missiles per tube)
1 Crass'akk ODST Drop ship "Psalm of Egg" Armament 30 Point laser Defense Systems 10 Light Turbolasers 2 Missile launchers
50 Swarm-class battle droids
*The fleet remains on the edge of the system and begins to scan the entire area*

Enam's console registered two signatures of ships on the surface, but not long afterwards the sensors detected weapons fire. The signature of the Simic was there, and with an obvious sign of a firefight prompted the Sith to break orbit. With his flight plan laid out to fly towards the surface, Enam readied himself with weapons primed.
"Damn it, what's going on down there?!"

As I awoke from another nap, feeling a bit of cabin fever after being onboard a shuttle for 5 days. sure i was permitted free reign over the ship permitting me to go anywhere onboard the ship. But after a while, even traveling to and fro onboard a shuttle, gets tedious. but this time i was called to the cockpit by Pixar who had made the mention that we had arrived in Real space within the Bakuran System.
“Honors go to you Pixar. light the beacon”
The droid gave a blinking of his right optical receiver, which i assume meant that this pleased him. using an image scrambler, Pixar found an appearance to call in using
::this is shuttle TS-108. requesting permission to land in the valley near the town of Avalion.::
It seemed like hours went by before in anger i asked Pixar what was going on. He explained that Thanks to the EJS program that was imbedded into the file packet sent down to ground control, it was possible to track where the files were and where they were going… and it seemed multiple parties were interested. The files were originally planned to head to customs, to give me landing clearance but the file was stolen in download by the Republic Security Administration, meanwhile the files then seem to slip between those two parties and a third party. The alert of the coms woke me from my trance.
::Greetings your highness, I am Tessai, we spoke once before. I apologize for the long response time, apparently i had not coded the channel information for where you should send your landing request. you are clear to land following the attached landing pattern. I have some… issues to discuss with you. you will not be landing near the village as intended, but rather on a hangar carved into a mountain that over looks the Sinai River valley. Cheers to your safe landing.::
Nodding in acceptance of the message, i popped myself in the copilot’s seat, and helped navigate the prototype shuttle along the landing route Tessai had given me.

The glimmering jewel, Bakura, was the first thing to treat the eyes of the crew exiting hyperspace as a Warrior-class gunship completes its voyage to Bakura from Aesolian. What immediately seems unusual about this ship is that it is flying alone (which is admittedly not obvious until it becomes clear that nothing is following it out of hyperspace). Warrior-class gunships are usually the advance force for a fleet and are almost never used alone due to their shortcomings. But this one seems to have no accompaniment. Furthermore, the ship bears the scars of many a battle on its hull, but she still appears to be in good condition. The last oddity about this vessel is the weathered insignia of the New Republic's Galactic Patrol force along with division identifiers painted prominently on the bridge.
The ship matches up with the emblem, but that is the end of math making sense when you add up what is going on with this new arrival over Bakura.
The gunship accelerates gently toward the planet, communications from the ship dead for now. Its course is at five o'clock (with the sun at noon) towards the upper hemisphere of the night side of the planet. Who does this ship belong to? Why did they come here from Aesolian? What is Aesolian? What happened there? Why is this ship alone? And so on and so forth stem the questions that arise at the invasion of this mysterious craft.

Closed RP.One Broadside-class cruiser kdb-1, Skirted the Bakura system edge, just arriving from Hyperspace and en-route to patrol it's sector of space, ahead of the rest of the patrol group they are tasked to. The Commander of this vessel has set condition yellow about the ship, Long range sensor suits are set to full range, shields are at the ready, The Two Turbolasers weapons are primed, the old Cruiser is still equipped with diamond boron missiles, ready to be targeted on any enemy who dares enter the system, her call sign is "Wrecker".
