I am an experienced player of JvS making a comeback as this character and in the vein of a previous character would very much like to make him a Jedi Guardian with the hopes of learning from the best swordsmasters and battlemasters. However primarily I am seeking those who are familiar with and adept at writing the form Makashi. I have never used or written with said form and although at present my character isn't in a position to learn Makashi he will progress to a point where he is and to either learn from a fellow writer who writes Makashi well and to practice against said writer would be brilliant.

I'm not sure if you have seen this page yet but I find it useful for Djem So. It must have equal or greater quality for Makashii because it came first. I am currently bored as hell having not done much interacting with people for a while and would be pleased to practice swordsmanship with you IC.
I realize you are looking for Jedi but as far as I know you haven't received an answer so an Imperial Knight may have to suffice.

Firstly, let me say that I used to RP as a Jedi, though eventually left the order on two occasions. The first was due to OOC political reasons, and the second (far more recent) occurrence was due to a whole mess of Jedi just dying off activity wise. Since then, I RP one major character, and have been trying to establish a second. I always have been a makashi writer however, and have used a unique variant of the style to get me into the final four in two separate tourneys - not saying I'm a master, simply that I DO know and understand the style, and consider myself advanced in its practice.
If you are wishing to be trained by a Jedi, then I would be open to the task. I don't take Padawans, and haven't taken one in a very, very long time. Since Facebook in fact. However, someone who shows a very high interest in Makashi, and learning it properly at that, is a rare thing. I would relish the chance to train you. I would equally relish the chance to bring back my Jedi, and actually KEEP RPing him for some time. Do consider.

I can't offer you any IC training, but if you wish for a few pointers in the actual writing of the form, I'd be more than happy to arrange a training match in the Arena. Simply send me a PM if you wish.
And Baylan, I extend the same offer to you (though ours could be a Challenge Match if you prefer). It's been too long since I had a duel with a fellow fencer.
