Well, since I am down to virtually no crew members left with the exception of a few NPC's, I am going to attempt a recruitment drive, despite noticing how drastically the number of actives on the site had diminished.. So here it is:
I am looking for people who are online on a regular basis and can post once or twice a day. Weekends are open to whatever we work out.
What I can put out there to attract new blood is this, I am a fairly decent RP'er with a couple of veteran characters under my belt from the pioneer days of Facebook. And I am open to new and exciting ideas. I would like for someone who is able to help bring life to the game and keep it as fresh as we can manage. I am usually pretty good at keeping my 'team' as it were, in the know for what's going on in my life well enough in advance so they know when I am absent.
There are positions available on my ship as both part of my crew, or simply as wayward passengers. Either way I am not picky, though I would prefer full time crew members. IC Nathan doesn't get mixed up in the too terribly dangerous stuff. Mostly the legal and illegal cargo is what he'll move. Nothing to over the top. Usually anything that is considered 'thumbing' his nose at the authorities is good enough for him. He's a bit crazy but he is far from stupid.
All in all, I am looking for people who can have fun and just want to write. I'm not really here to delve into the inner workings of the universe at large. I just want to write. Hey, Captain. I showed some interest before I started writing with someone else, but I would be willing to join up with your crew as a mechanic. I'm craving more than what I am currently doing, but not so much that I am overloading my 'plate'. If you are a person who follows a fairly regular posting schedule, I'm fairly certain we can make this work. Interested?

So, now that the ball is rolling, I've got an update.
A discussion is in the works for a Sensor/Comms Expert. I have my mechanic, security and from the sounds of things, medic. I would still like to fill the role of cook (though it isn't all that important) and the role of gunner. Obviously the writers don't have to be confined to their roles, but as long as they mostly specialize in one area, I'm happy. With that said, is there anyone else out there interested in jumping on with us? We are not picking up where we left off on the old site, we are going an entirely new direction with this. So for those of you already on as crew, I'll be getting back to you within the next day or so about where we are going to be starting.

Always room for more! What were you thinking? I've still got a few positions within the crew open, as well as some that are just temporarily filled with NPC's. Here's an up-to-date list for you.
