Gall, this is where Arkan had retreated with his brother's last prize. The Bes'uliik fighter craft that Sorak had stolen from the Mandalorians had been his pride and joy, now it was Arkan's. The cockpit was a spacious one and it even had a small cabin behind with more consoles, supplies and even a small bunk. The pirate made sure the ship was set into a high orbit before ducking out of the cockpit to check the ships systems. The consoles in the rear of the ship mainly focussed on weapons systems but could be used for a full system check. The engines were obviously running smoothly and the hyperdrive worked impeccably well so he started his systems checks with the shield generator, hull integrity and weapons.
The shield generator and hull integrity remained un-damaged by his raid and both showed up as green on the status menu. The weapons too had been undamaged and all four blaster cannons showed up as green. The pair of concussion missile launchers showed that they both had five missiles available. Satisfied that the systems he had been worried about were ok, he ran a full system sweep but instructed the computer to only alert him if there was a problem. He then began to look over sensor information for the Gall system, scanning for any threats in orbit and on the surface. One could never been too careful.

The Dar'yaim dropped out of hyperspace, angling for a low orbit over Gall. Fel was already reading over the intel on his contacts for this drop -- should be pretty standard. He took a quick look at the console of the old YT-1760, and was happy with what he saw. All systems were in the green, except for the O2 sensor, which had been broken for months, and the long range sensors, which had been acting up of late. Sometimes they blipped on for a few minutes, sometimes, well... Fel put that on his to-do list, and called over his shoulder to the R2 unit currently laying in escape coordinates to the Navacomp, as was their standard practice.
Hey, Trash Can! How many times have I said we should overhaul the LR sensors? A burst of angry Binary ...right. Well, remind me twice a day now, ok? Loach is going to be waiting at the rendezvous, guess we shouldn't keep the man waiting. Get up here, and we'll get planetside.
Fel twisted around in his seat, facing the starscape and the planet beyond the viewport, and fed thrust evenly into the sublights. Just as he did, the LR sensors blipped on, and immediately warnings flashed about the presence of another unknown vessel in-system. Fel was immediately alert, and checked the scans. Looked like a Mandalorian craft?? But he didn't get too long to check the particulars, as the scope went dead again. Fel cursed bitterly, slamming his hand down on the console, and yelled over his shoulder:
Get up here, Tin Man! We've got company!
The whirr of servos and sound of wheels gaining traction on the deck told Galdaart that Wrench was underway. He didn't know if the other ship had spotted them or not, or what their intentions were if they had zeroed the Dar'yaim. But with cargo in his hold, and a customer waiting for delivery, he wasn't about to chit chat and find out. Wrench appeared at his side, wheeling into the custom-installed astromech slot where the co-pilot's seat used to stand. Fel gunned the modified engines, and they shot toward atmo.

Arkan saw the blip on the long range sensors but didn't think too much about it. Then he saw the sensor flash, the new ships scanned him and then began to run for the surface, not good. Was this blip working for Sorak or another enemy? Arkan flicked a switch and began to scan the ship that was now running for Gall. It was some kind of light freighter, one that was commonly customised with some nasty surprises.
The Echani hooked his hand around a handle and flung himself from his current chair into the pilots. He now had complete control of the ship and powered up the engines, setting an intercept course with the freighter. It was not too long before the distance began to shrink significantly and the pirate powered up his shields and weapons. As soon as he was able, maybe from a little too far away, he fired off a long burst from his laser cannons, he'd save the missiles for later.
