Definitely silver. Easy on the eyes and very low key. Everything else can be razzle dazzle.
Also, orange sounds painful.

As much as I love orange as a colour I feel like red is easier on the eyes and works with MOST peoples font.
If you are looking for low key the silver is your best bet

Green with a background picture of the crossed lightsabers that were part of the original logo.
It would be cool if each theme had a different background picture.
Leave the death star for red, put the Yavin battle behind silver. Slave 1 behind green. A couple X wings behind blue. Geonosis battle behind orange.
You get the idea.
OR hold a logo contest and have people submit entries for the contest. Replace the Death Star with the site logo that wins the competition.

I was going to save this as a surprise, but since you mentioned it, yes, I'm planning to give each theme a different background.

I have all my accounts set to the silver theme, lots easier on the eyes.
