Hello.
I have been here on this site about three days, but I am a veteran from JvS 1.0 back when we were naught more than a Facebook app. I was on 1.5 right from June 30th, 2008. I went by the handle of Atuna Lemep at that time. It's good to be back, for those of you who remember/care.
Anywho, me and three friends of mine are looking for a chance to RP. We are a ragtag group of spacers who take oddjobs here and there to stay afloat. No real official affiliation to any one faction.
We're just poking around, seeing if anyone could give us a story to join. If anyone has any ideas, or somewhere they could point us, that'd be fantastic.

That is to say...ahem...welcome! Welcome to our site...our site of totally non clingy and non crazy role players. I JUST so happen to have a living biological ship that needs to be fitted with a crew. And I just so happened to be wondering where I was going to find a crew on this site...when I saw this post. I actually remember you Atuna, though I went by a different name back on FB. Which name that was I don't know, as I cycled through over twenty characters since then...but I seem to remember you being a staunch RPer.
Ahem. So, if you're looking for a captain...a ship...and jobs...well, I'm the right guy for you. If you're not looking for anything but a job/story, I could definitely use you guys in a story involving my ship. Primarily getting her afloat as it were, and getting her off a not very friendly planet.

We have a ship, I believe, but we can make this work. At the very least it gives us somewhere to start. What did you have in mind for us?

Just chiming in, i'm the captain of this ship that Myriana speaks of. First off, greetings. Second off like she said we already have a ship but are also looking for a place to start.

Ah, good then, good then.
The job, as it were. Would be to come and pick me up on Dagobah, and then to ferry me to Serenno. Help me bust up a few guards, break into some fortified buildings...and basically get me to my ship. You will in return be paid a sum proportionate to the work involved - though low enough, I assume, to keep you in your professions as spacers.

That sounds like a job that would be up our alley.
My crew and I still need to make our opening posts but after that your job sounds good. We would just need to hammer out some details, well mainly just how you are going to end up hiring us.

If it would be possible for you to be simply passing through outer rim west hyperspace, a weak signal will reach you. As the character that I have in mind for this SL has limited access to technology, that would practically be the only way of me reaching you. If you follow it to Dagobah, land, and find the source of the signal - you'll find me.
From there we can go about securing this little...contract.
