First, let me begin by saying that I realize there is very little conflict in the galaxy anymore, especially conflict involving large-scale troop and ship deployments. While I'm glad there has been a monumental shift toward a stronger focus on writing, I feel wars and battles over territory added a much needed competitive edge to the site that, for me at least, kept things from getting stale, as they seem to be now. Regardless, I'm simply looking for someone in need of an eager, if inexperienced (referring to myself, not the character) military commander that intends to put it to use. I love all forms of writing, so I'm not demanding someone who intends to go on a crusade, but I also thrive on conflict, so I would greatly prefer to serve someone who intends to establish some sort of dominion, be it over a handful of planets or the entire galaxy . That aside, I'm easy going, a decent writer, and just looking to have fun. PM me or post here if you have need of my services, and if you need examples of my writing, I was pretty active on 1.5 with the character Erin Darkwell.

If you plan on taking a more privatised military contractor route, I'd be willing to hire your forces every now and then - depending upon if the Stormtrooper here likes you.
If you actually intend upon joining a faction and fighting to conquer the galaxy, I would normally suggest joining the Empire, however after the Compliance actions in the Deep Core I think things will get very stale afterwards for us Imperials. So I would hate to place you in a position that may turn out to lead you full circle. However, that's not to say that you shouldn't join for the time being. We do offer good dental plans, alongside the possible proposition of carnage in varying scales.

The Empire would be my first choice, if not for the fact that, like you said, it's about to get stale. For people like me, anyway. I expect the Cold War RP to be a good read, but overt military operations won't have any place in it.
I would prefer to join a faction and begin work on an actual military campaign, but mercenary work is just as good at the moment, and much better than sitting on my hands and waiting. What'd you have in mind, as far as meeting and discussing the details?

Before we go full ham on getting your character and her followers into the mix the only thing I'd have on the table to offer, would be for them to join with the Second Imperial Expeditionary Fleet heading into the Deep Core to ensure the former Remnant worlds act in compliance with their new masters. Doing so would give you access to varying levels of military operations, as I've got plans for Storm Commandos to infiltrate places, Gideon's Legion of Stormtroopers to be locked into some siege warfare with a certain religious nut on Khomm, and finally having the newly promoted Commodore face off against a fragment of the reactivated CIS navy.
Now, that's just one portion of the entire conflict that's broiling in the Deep Core region. I know Xeo and Nica have their own plots in the works, and may add into this should they desire.
However, this whole thing may turn out to be the marbled steak before the plain rice - so I don't think I'd be able to offer much after these errant story arc's come together at the end.

I'm not sure what Nica has going on either. As for my thing, currently it's really low key and Idont know where I want it to go. A PMC was hired to take out the orbital guns and some stormtroopers have went to stop him. I'm still not sure if I want them to be the "good guys" or not but the idea I had was one military official vesting for power while the other wants to join the Empire. Seems straight forward enough.

Pretty much I have campaigns planned for the worlds of Aargau, Foerost, Aargha, Khomm and Ojom. At some point, the Republic will/may get involved and this civil war will turn in a proxy war between the Empire and the Republic, who are in a Cold War sort of phase. Gideon and I are just about to make best speed for Aargau where the rebellion has just begun. Gideon's alt, Tharkad Blake, is working on stirring elements for the rebellion on Khomm and Xeonon is doing his work here and there to help stir the pot.
Once the conflict is over, however, there will be some post-war operations that I believed I shared a bit with Gideon.

Well I'd like to think that I will keep you Empire boys at least a little occupied after I return from my holiday. I'm sure there will be a battle I can hop into at some point.
Lil: if you're not too bothered about being dark side, The Republic Military could use someone else to command military forces.

Awesome. I write an evil company that deals in slavery, narcotics, soon assasinations. I am adding illegal arms dealing to the deal. And also wish to set up a couple mercenary fleets and armies. Unlocked to any faction, warring for money. Later on this can change, but it would be a good way to get some actual combat action while the cold war lasts. Right now, a sacking of Nal Hutta is in the works. Maybe some illegal invasions later. Yeah, and I am hireing!

If you'd like some aggressive, expansionist style military RP, then I'm building up my forces on Dromund Kaas. Stop by if you'd like.

You guys are giving me too many viable options, here. Now I have to consider em and junk. I believe I'm going to sign on with GALSAF, at least for the time being, but I appreciate all of the offers and hope to write with you in the very near future.
