Mandalorian War: Yavin IV Siege OOC Thread

I'll start with three different units.

2x GALSAF Black Ops squads: These guys will be focused on securing Yavin personnel and forces. Their mission will run throughout all accessible sections of the station, capturing personnel and killing/capturing enemy forces. Open to response from anyone involved. I'll set their position and situation up, feel free to jump in at that point.

1x GALSAF Commando Company: Probably from 4th Battation, 1st Infantry Brigade Commando Team. These guys will run support against Yavin forces, primarily. Again, I'll set the situation up, and it will be open to response from anyone who wants in. They will work in conjunction with the Black Operations squads, though not directly. BO will capture and transfer custody over to the Commandos. Commandos will capture and keep custody.
We will use the Barracks sectors as POW control points and Casualty Collection Points for both sides, treating anyone who ends up there, friend or foe.

1x GALSAF Commando Company: Probably from the same Battalion, though these guys will be focusing on securing repair equipment and materials necessary to repair critical sections of the station. They are less combat focused, but any engagements are welcome.

Well, where as it's an IC goal, the OOC caveat is that breaking the encryptions will fail. There will be some work arounds to be made to restore some functionality to the station, but the computer library, the weapon systems, and a great deal of the more powerful sensor and comms systems will remain locked out throughout the occupation. Still, fair enough. Floor is open to anyone who wants in on the work arounds and stuff.

Sounds like a plan. Now, I can't remember who that siege cannon actually belonged to (I know it's Mandalorian at least), but is there anyone in particular who's supposed to be working it?
If not, I'll volunteer, keep it firing and what not during the battle, and maybe fend off a couple attacks on it successfully (or not!).

Other than that……GALSAF is ready to go. We've got one full company of armor and commandos on the ground, with three in reserve as well as our two starfighter flights ready to bomb ground targets and engage other pilots.
I'm not sure where all the OTHER folks stand but…I'm here.

EDIT: Forgot to ask…one company of armor for our lot includes 4 AT-TE's, 4 TX-130 fighter tanks, and an assortment of other equipment, nothing too huge. We're at max combat effectiveness, so this one company of armor and commandos will pack a punch. We won't see mass casualties or the like, considering how good these guys are.
But I'm thinking that's all we'll need to bother with, especially with the emphasis on GENERAL battle coverage, nothing fancy. But I'm not sure what forces the Jedi are bringing to the game, so I'd just like our proportions to be right.
(There's no point writing if one side accidentally brings a butter knife to a gun fight, 'cause we all know how that would end. hahaha)

A heads up for everyone - tomorrow is my first anniversary with my Girlfriend, so I'm out of touch now until Wednesday.

I can write the bit with the siege cannon (the one that I wrote getting dropped in the first day of the invasion, right?)

As for the assault on the Temple itself, I've got forces on the way and just covered our approach towards the Massassi River. I'm waiting on a response from the Mandalorian writers, however, so they can keep pace, seeing as how our forces are traveling together.

I have no idea who Dr. Levi is. Probably in the Caribbean, neglecting his patients. Like most doctors.

If possible, I could use some sort of Jedi interruption for our operators on Yavin Station. I've got up a couple of posts, but I can't do too much more without other writers involved, lol.
