The Praetorite council hadn't even convened yet and information was spreading through the ranks like fleas on a wookiee. While he was concerned about an intelligence breach, part of him was proud of them. Some of his lessons were clearly paying off. Perhaps next members of the warrior caste would even consider disregarding their honour. Unlikely, but small miracles were known to happen on occasion.
"You've heard correctly." He nodded. "I've made contact with a group known as the First Order. They are the successor of the Imperial Remnant we used to have dealings with. Nothing has been finalized yet but when I spoke with their Emperor he spoke of offering us use of one or two of their worlds to establish bases within their territory, in exchange for...well, what I do best."

"Perfect. I always liked the Imperials, they were always prepared to make significant investments towards the advanced of scientific knowledge. Perhaps then if negotiations go well, you would see if it were possible for me to attend one of their science facilities? When the Remnant allowed me access to the cloning facilities on Khomm last time I was able to learn many things that have advanced our own knowledge."
Back then she had been allowed by Xeonon Solomon to remain at the cloning facility and spectate as a clone of the Jensarri Lone Wolf was grown from a few cells into a living breathing body. She never actually got to see the host's spirit transferred into the clone, but seeing how the infidel races grew their clones was quite insightful.

"I'm supposed to head to Coruscant to complete the negotiations with the Emperor in person, so I will bring it up then. He shrugged his tight shoulders. "It sounds a reasonable request, I imagine it will be approved. Anything else?"

Her head shook from side to side, ears fluttering, releasing a hidden pheromone into the air. She took another sip of wine and casually reclined.
"No, as you said yourself earlier, I really only care about an opportunity to indulge my scientific curiosity. So long as you can secure that, I am contented."

"I am always happy to satisfy your desires, Mira." He said playfully before looking down at his left wrist. There between the meat of his forearm and the protruding veins on the back of his hand was a small spider shaped biot with a flat translucent back. Its legs were wrapped around his wrist while two very tiny but also very sharp fangs pierced the flesh of his arm. The venomous biot served as a time piece for the Intendant, its displayed internal organs shifted to display an accurate count of time. "I've taken up enough of your time. I should be going."
Nem tapped his pipe on the side of the thorn seat, emptying the burned content onto the yorik coral floor before returning the smoking biot to the robeskin satchel on his hip. He then brought hip cup to his lips and quickly finished the remaining contents, before replacing it on the ledge. Finally he extricated himself from the seat and stood to the side, waiting for Mira to rise before offering a formal goodbye.

Rising from her seat, the Master Shaper moved to the Executor's side and placed the eight digits of her right hand on his left shoulder, fixing her two brilliant pink mqaaq'it on his features, offering the Yuuzhan Vong version of looking sincere.
"Take care of yourself out there, Nem, and don't be a stranger. You know I am only a villip call away." She gave his shoulder a quick squeeze. "I'll see to things here. You just keep doing what you do best."

He reached up and put his hand on hers, giving it a squeeze of his own.
"I will. Offer my apologies to Prefect Ur Skell when you see him. I unfortunately don't have time to stop by and speak with him. Goodbye, Mira."
And without another word, Nem turned and left the Master Shaper's quarters, heading back out into the halls of the facility as he made his way to the hangar for departure.

Within the shipwomb facility that circled in orbit around Zonama Sekot, Mira Yim busied herself with her latest project. After speaking with Nem at length about the possibility of restarting the Ossus Project, she had diverted some of the efforts from the shadow fleet the Praetorite was constructing and focused on creating a Sh'rip Sh'pa, what was otherwise known as a seed ship. These types of vessels were used to transport the massive amount of supplies needed to terraform a planet using Yuuzhan Vong bio-technology. Assuming the Executor was successful in negotiating a renewed project, she wanted to be ready to start those efforts in earnest. More so, she knew he would not deny her the right to lead the operation, given the significant importance it would play in repairing their galactic reputation. No other Master Shaper, even her brother on Rodia, was as talented as she. Nem would have to send her, thus leaving the otherwise boring duty of crafting ships to one of the others.
With her glowing pink mqaaq'it she could already see the meters long facets of the ship's hull coming together, making the entire structure appear as some giant gemstone, glittering in the exposed starlight of the bay it was housed in. Worker caste in vacuum oogliths paired with lungworms and gnulliths floated about, following the instructions laid out by her subordinates.
She already had a name for the ship, even incomplete as it was.
"The Fecund Fortress." She whispered aloud.
Inside its gem encrusted hull, it contained the seeds for the garden of life.

After several months preparation, the Sh'rip Sh'pa 'Fecund Fortress' was ready to set sail. The organic crystal crusted Yuuzhan Vong seed ship left the shipwomb, heavily burdened with materials necessary for terraforming a planet. Inside, teams of worker caste and shapers made last minute checks even as the ship's dovin basals carried it away from Zonama Sekot and began to plot a darkspace jump towards the world of Ossus.
On the bridge, Master Shaper Mira Yim watched the beautiful star-scape through the main view-spider. Her ocular implants, known as mqaaq'it, glowed an excited pink hue as she was overjoyed that her journey was about to begin. It had taken some coaxing, but Nem had finally permitted her to travel into lesser space. Her scientific curiosity was soon to be sated. Light blue eye sacs, a sign of beauty among her people, puffed lightly under the lambent lighting of the yorik-coral deck.
In a bright flash of light, the dovin basals ramped the ship up to lightspeed and hurled it into the corridors of darkspace.

Time and effort spent transforming rock and organic material into something living and interconnected had finally paid off. Months had gone by since the start of the labour, the shipwomb circling the great green and blue orb of Zonama Sekot had never ceased its activity, as one shift was replaced by the next. Under the supervision of the shaper caste, even with Master Shaper Mira Yim having departed for Ossus, the construction of the shadow fleet had continued. Now it neared completion, with four new advanced scout ships coming off the line, next to four new yorik-stronha. A vast field of yorik-et stretched from one side of the facility to the next, each destined to join one of these new vessels on future missions into lesser space. They even already had names, picked out by the priest caste in a rare showing of collaboration. Among the four scout ships, there was the : 'Brittle Bones', 'Bleeding Bissop', 'Bilious Broth', and the 'Carving Coufee'. For the yorik-stronha, the names given were: the 'Strangled Breath', 'Weeping Sore', 'Gaping Wound', and finally the 'Serpent's Stalk'. Crews of warrior caste were ferried on skiffs to the shipwomb to begin boarding the new vessels they would be taking over.

Through the translucent membrane that served as a window for the Prefect's office, Shendor's mqaaq'it ocular implants stared out at the starless night sky that lingered just beyond the far edge of the system Zonama Sekot currently found itself in, on the furthest fringe from known civilization. Somewhere out there in that black abyss was his home galaxy, long forgotten after ten-thousand years spent traveling the intergalactic void. He'd never known it personally of course. Like almost all Yuuzhan Vong, the Prefect had been born during the great journey though those lightless depths, on a world-ship that had been destroyed during the invasion of the known galaxy. He let out a sigh before turning away from the view, checking the qahsa biot that had been symbiotically connected to his desk-beast to form a chimeric organic computer station. The blaze bug readout had an update on their efforts to place beacons at the edge of the void.
For months now the Praetorite had been placing villip beacons along the outskirts of the galaxy, dropping them as far out as they dared, all in an attempt to help guide any lost members of their species home. Any Yuuzhan Vong arriving in the galaxy should be able to detect those beacons, connect to them, and listen to their pre-recorded message. It was a welcome, a warning, and a promise for safe harbour at Zonama Sekot. As such, the coordinates of the seed world were included, as much as that was an obvious security risk. After all, there was no guarantee that any arriving Yuuzhan Vong would be amenable to the Praetorite's future plans. It was a huge risk, one that Nem's commanders had attempted to dissuade him from, only to have their voiced concerns fall on deaf ears. The Executor's only response had been that is was a risk worth taking, which meant Shendor would have to live with it.
Transports rose from the surface of the seed world, passing by the the Shipwomb in orbit that the Prefect was on. Each one of those organic coral crafts contained members of the notorious Domain Yin, bound for Anobis in the Middle Rim. The Executor was moving their entire domain there. Well, except for Shendor, who still had his responsibilities overseeing the care of their ancestral homes offspring. He had already said his goodbyes to Shareed, his domain and creche-mate, who was leading the relocation efforts. A streak of light across the star-line followed by a bright flash signalled to the Yuuzhan Vong that the ships had entered darkspace.
His stretch of space just got a little quieter.

Since the events of Shili-Secondus leading to the death of the Praetorite Council, the Shipwomb in orbit around Zonama Sekot had gone quiet, not currently producing ships. Its former overseer, Shendor Yin, had managed to escape the surface of Shili-Secondus before it exploded. Unfortunately, his death came soon after on the surface of Shili itself, as he laid down his life in service to the Praetorite against Supreme Empress Loraine Zun-qin and her shaped army of heretic monsters. So it came as some surprise to the Intendant manning the skeleton crew aboard the orbital installation when the villip-choir received a telepathic transmission from halfway across the galaxy. Inside the command centre of the organic facility, Executor Azhen Worr was currently overseeing operations when the call came in. He watched as three dimensional image was produced of Master Shaper Mira Yim's stunningly beautiful visage.{{ Greetings and salutations, Executor Worr. }} Spoke the image in near melodic Yuuzhan Vong, its butterfly wing shaped ears fluttering as Mira spoke. The villip even replicated the Master Shaper's glowing pink eyes.Worr, who was still rubbing salt from his eyes, blinked his corpse pallor lids and bowed. "Master Shaper, it is an honour. To what do we owe the pleasure?" There was no sarcasm or insincerity to be found in his tone when he replied. Ashen spoke with honest reverence, the same any Yuuzhan Vong might express when in the presence of such a noteworthy figure. Though the Handmaidens of Yun-Ne'Shel and the Praetorite did not always see eye to eye, many among their people still saw Mira as the future, a shaping savant to bring them into a new age of prosperity and peace.{{ I have a request. Shaping efforts on the Ossus Project are proceeding with great success, to the point where I feel it safe to turn my attention to helping the growth of our peoples colonies in the Unknown Regions. I need several Sh'rip Sh'pa prepared, a fleet of them. One for Lehon and Ahch-To a piece, and a few more so I can expand our work on Ossus to its two moons. }}Ashen rubbed his ritually scarred chin ridges, contemplating the request. "I will see to their shaping at once, Master Shaper. However, our capacity to produce vessels has been significantly diminished since the Praetorite Council fell. I can't promise fast results." {{ Proceed in whatever way is most practical, Executor Worr. I do not expect miracles. That's my job. }} Was that a joke? {{ I shall patiently wait for word of your progress. Yuuzhan bless you, Executor. }}"You as well, Master Shaper." With that, the villip transmission ended. Ashen Worr began to prepare a work order for the Shipwomb.

Two large glimmering gemstones sparkled against the star speckled tapestry of space as they were ejected from the shipwomb circling the sacred seed world of the Yuuzhan Vong people. These Sh'rip Sh'pa, also known as Seedships, were destined for the Yuuzhan Vong reservation in the Ossus system. Dovin basal arrays manipulated gravity to pull both organic vessels through space, opening up a wormhole in darkspace as they accelerated to lightspeed, streaking out of the system in a brilliant flash of light.

Shipwomb (orbiting Zonama Sekot) With assistance from the langhesi and ferroans that called the living planet home, shaping began on a ro'ik chuun m'arh frigate for the Intendants of Domain Yin, intended to replace the Price of Pain lost during the events of Lehon leading up to the defeat of the Supreme Empress, Loraine Zun-qin. Somewhat smaller than the standard template, the frigate analog was grown in such a way to reach a length of roughly three hundred and fifty meters, with a hull largely comprised of yorik-coral with glossy secretion armour bands between the different segments. A boney spine like growth extended from the bow, beneath which contained an orifice in which a membranous solar sail was stored for intergalactic travel in situations where dovin basals were not a practical means of locomotion. Multiple dovin basal array were the main method of propulsion, which could also be used to create gravitational singularities for defense, or to tractor vessels or meteorites used to replenish the organic vessel. Thirty yaret-kor protruded from the crevices in the hull, fed by magma veins that ran the length of the ship. Ten rockspitters were shaped into the frame for additional armament, capable of switching between magma and grutchin missiles. The rear bow contained a bay like hangar able to hold a yorik-trema and several yorik-et starfighters, or even a sivilith depending on mission needs. The metallic spine of an oggzil attachment was fixed to the top of the stern, connecting to the villip choir to allow the living frigate to communicate on the same electronic frequencies used by mechanical technology using infidel races. It was Torfa Yim, twin brother of the renowned Master Shaper and leader of the Handmaidens of Yun-Ne'Shel, Mira Yim, who oversaw the shaping project. After the political fallout between the more militant Praetorite Vong and the pacifist Handmaidens, Executor Nem Yin had opted to ask for Torfa's assistance for the ship shaping, as he had already shown himself to be discrete and had assisted directly with the Praetorite's war effort during the events of the Byss Crises. Sekotan techniques were incorporated into the vessel, giving it a somewhat distinct design over typical Yuuzhan Vong starships.

When the ro'ik chuun m'arh was finally completed, the organic frigate analog was christened the Coral Corsair, a reference to the Executor's piratical past. An oqa membrane extended from the Shipwomb into the newly shaped ship, allowing for the transfer of a very special cargo intended for Imperial space. Prefect Shendor Yin attended to the transfer personally before boarding the coral frigate, making his way to the bridge where he took over as defacto commander of the ship until it was delivered to the Yu'shaa. A full claw of Hunters from Domain Yin were stationed aboard the vessel, in fact most of the crew hailed from the shadowy Intendant controlled domain. After the cargo was loaded, Shendor ordered the ro'ik chuun m'arh to lock its dovin basal array on Ilum and take them into darkspace. It streaked across the hyper-lane, vanishing in a brilliant flash of light.
