Stretching back to reality with a flicker of pseudo-motion, a solitary ShaShore - Class Frigate dropped out of hyperspace above the Swamp world of Abraxin. The vessel had, in another age, flown the colors of the Republic Navy and had been stationed in Orbit above the world of Mon Calamari to keep a wary eye out for those that would despoil her surface once more. However, as the Galaxy had moved on, it had left the far-flung world of Dac behind - leaving the captains of each vessel stranded on the fringes of the known universe without any orders to follow. That was until a Jedi had come with a proposition. One that would ignite the spark of heroism in the hearts of those who believed there was nothing left worth fighting for. Thus, like all great fires must do, they began to spread the word to various nearby systems in the hopes of garnering something that could combat the evil growing on the other side of the stars. So, with their metaphysical torches in hand, the crew of the ShaShore Frigate, affectionately named the Niathal, had sent down an emissary to the marsh shrouded world of Abraxin, with the hope of swaying the local Barabel populace of fighting the good fight - and joining the cause.

The crew carried on as they passed through the realm of hyperspace, the blue-white tube rushing by at amazing speeds. All were on alert as the pilot navigated the path given to him by the co-pilot. They were on a mission and time was of the greatest essence. A lead was all they had and if they arrived too late, finding their targets would be difficult, if not impossible to find for some time. But there was no concern or worry from any of them as while it was a time sensitive task, everything had gone smoothly and they would be arriving soon.
As they moved on, the pilot turned to look at his co-pilot on the right.
"Rika, what's our ETA?"
Without glancing over, she ran her hands over the console before her, getting a solid grasp on there position from their destination. In a few seconds, she had calculated how much time was left before they arrived.
"We should be arriving at Abraxin in one minute."
He gave a nod and pushed on. They were close and they needed to be ready. No time would be granted to them to relax.
"Alright, this is it people. Bellek, Rodric, get those guns ready. The moment we have sight of the target, open fire. We need to take out their guns and engines."
The gunner on Vorron's left shook his head before turning back to look at the pilot.
"Yes, we know. How many times to do you think we've done this? It's always the same approach. Unless we're told otherwise, we don't need a reminder each and every time we head out to eliminate pirates."
Voron gave a sigh, but said nothing else. Bellek always had a sarcastic attitude and liked to talk back about the orders giving to him. Still, despite his seemingly insubordinate nature, he fulfilled his task to the letter and without question. If anything, it appeared that the man preferred to be the humor of the crew, even if it meant incurring the wrath of their leader. In the gunner position to Vorron's right, the man there turned and looked to Rika.
"So this information is good right, Rika? I'd hate for you miss something and take us to the wrong place or put us in a bad situation."
Rika rolled her eyes as her chair turned to face Rodric. Leaning back, she crossed her arms as she gazed upon him with a scornful stare.
"And at what point have I ever found bad information? Everything bit of information I gather is good. I don't recall us having problems yet."
From within the commander's chair situated in the middle of the room and a bit higher than the rest, a man sat, right leg cross over left and lean to his right arm. He had merely sat there for the whole trip, preparing his mind and resolve for what was to come. It was only now at the crew's pathetic bickering that his dark golden eyes opened and fixed themselves upon the view before them. Suddenly it came, first with a deep breath, then echoing words within their minds.
<<That is enough of your useless prattling. Return your focus to the mission at hand. We will be arriving in a few moments.>>
Silence fell throughout the cockpit as none spoke and turned back to their stations. There was no yelling, only the smooth deep tone that it always was. Yet, there was dark intent dripping from it, enough that the crew did not wish to incur his wrath.

It wasn't but a few seconds later when the signal went off that they were close. Immediately, Rika dropped the ship from hyperspace, leaving the warped realm behind to reveal the swampy world of Abraxin. It was out of they way and ultimately served no purpose to anyone when it came to the higher orders and governments of the galaxy. Just another backwater world that nobody cared about. Perfect for what their targets intended. It wasn't a moment or two later that Rika picked up two ships on the scanners.
"Looks like we have two ships on the scanners. From what I can tell looks like two light freighters. A YV-100 and a YV-260. Man these pirates sure love their Corellian ships."
Voron gave a small laugh at the comment.
"And why wouldn't they? Some of the best ships you can get your hands on. Too bad they still can't stand up to a Decimator." The smirk on his face faded quickly as he took a deep breath. It was go time, meaning they needed to get serious. "Rika, activate jammers. Bellek, Rodric, unleash hell."
Voron hit the thrusters, pushing in fast towards the two ships. They were connected, meaning they were currently transferring cargo. But this wasn't the typical cargo of drugs and guns like most smugglers carried. No, these were pirates, pirates that worked with slavers. Nothing but some of the worst scum the galaxy had to offer, going around, kidnapping innocent people for their own desires. Even worse, if Rika's information was to be believed, these weren't just any group of slaves. They were women being transport as slaves for the pleasure of wicked men. It was this knowledge that made Kelam jump faster than normal. If there was one thing he couldn't stand, it was knowing that women were being taken against their will and put into such positions. Normally, he just ended the lives of evil men. But when these kinds of groups came up, he made it a point to torture the souls of those foolish enough to be caught up in such acts before granting them death.
Coming in close, it was clear their presence was unexpected. It was why this world was chosen. None came around often, typically making such transfers easy. But it also lowered their guards. And with the jammers active, they were almost invisible in making their approach. No orders were needed from this point on. They made pass after pass against the ships. Bellek and Rodric unleashed the power of the quad laser turrets, letting them stick with their targets with every pass as Voron handled control over the fixed heavy cannons. For now, they saved the concussion missiles, knowing they wouldn't be needed.
Before a shot could be gotten off by the enemy, nearly all the weapons on both ships had been disabled. As the few laser cannons left fired on the Revelation, it didn't work to avoid the shots, but took them on, showing how strong their shields and armor was. With another pass, the last of the weapons were destroyed. All that was left were the engines. Already the ships were trying to break apart to keep from being easy targets, but it was too late. In a single approach, all their fire was directed to the YV-100. Before they finished their run, the engines went, rendering the ship completely inert. All that was left was the YV-260.
The single Ion cannon that was concealed in the underside of the ship lowered down as Rika took control. Normally, when it came to smugglers and pirates, their job was to just blow them out of the sky and leave nothing left. However, when it came to transporting slaves, they made it a point to simply disable a single ship for the slaves to escape in was all was said and done. Coming around, Voron lined Rika up for the shot before she unloaded a barrage at the freighter. In mere moments, the systems were rendered useless for the time being, leaving them completely open to being boarded.
Bringing the ship around, Voron worked to dock with the YV-260. Kelam then stood to his feet and departed the cockpit for the appropriate airlock, Rika, Bellek, and Rodric right at his heels.

As the ships connected and the air locks opened, Kelam and his crew was met by ten pirates standing there waiting, blasters poised and ready. The first step her made was all it took for them to begin firing upon them. With but a single lift of his right hand, he summoned the Force before them in a barrier, deflecting the shots away. The pirates kept up the shots for a bit, before stopping, hoping that it was enough to bring down the interlopers.
Yet, it was not to be. All they saw was the four of them standing there, Kelam tilting his head as he gazed upon them with an amused stare. As always, they never expected him and his power. And every time they bore witness upon their immediate failure, fear and hopelessness fell upon them. It was what he worked for, to make such men of evil feel the same thing their victims always felt. Suddenly, they began to scramble, seeking to run away. Lowering his hand, his gaze shifted to Rika before motioning with his head towards the fleeing pirates.
Nodding, she stepped forward and removed a pair of DC-15 blaster pistols and began firing down after the group. She didn't possess the same level of accuracy Voron did with a blaster, but she was still skilled enough. However, in this case, she wasn't truly trying to hit anyone. She was firing around them, hitting spots near them as she worked to herd them into a single spot. The crew followed behind, Kelam moving at a casual pace as the Rika, Bellek, and Rodric moved fast after them. Soon, they had been pushed into a dead end, the perfect spot for the next step. Stepping up, Rodric removed two grenades from his person and tossed them into the fray. Powerful enough to kill, yet weak enough not to blow straight through the hull, it was all they needed to finish the job. Surprisingly, one of the ones caught in the blast emerged, barely escaping the explosion and right into Bellek, who was waiting in case any got lucky. Moving in, he removed his knife and ducked down as he plunged it into the pirate's gut, the spun around, removing the knife and plunging it into the man's head.
A solid strategy employed by Kelam. Intimidate them with his Force abilities, herd them with Rika, blow them up at once, and have Bellek standing by ready to remove any who got away. Certain, all had been dealt with, they headed back to rejoin Kelam. Just as they rounded the corner, they heard a yell, turning to see two more pirates appear from nowhere. Unable to move fast enough, it seemed they had been caught themselves. But before they could touch the crew, the pirates fell as the sound of three blaster shots rang across the walls. Turning back, they saw Kelam with Voron at his side, a single Westar in his hand. Rodric smirked as Bellek rolled his eyes, Rika giving off a small giggle to finish things off. Next came a rustling sound as two pirates appeared, falling to their knees asking for mercy. Kelam moved to stand before them, his shadow falling over them. Lowering his head, he focused the Force around their necks and began to constrict it, choking them as he also lifted them with the Force. They stayed like that for a minute before finally falling limp from being choked to death. The final aspect of the strategy. Using Rika, Bellek, and Rodric as bait to reveal any remaining threats as Kelam and Voron lagged behind, just far enough to act when needed. And if any other poor souls remained, Kelam would display his power.
Reaching out, Kelam could feel no other hostile feelings on board. Turning to the four, he began giving his commands. <<Voron, find all the slaves and bring them to the good ship. Bellek, Rodric, begin repairs so they can use it to escape. Rika, begin going through the systems of both ships. I want to know everything about them. Who they are, where they came from, where the slaves were being sent to, and who is in charge of it all. And keep sharp in case any other pirates lie in wait. Now go.>>
"Understood." They all spoke in unison as Kelam gave his orders. Without a single moment of hesitation, they took off in their respective directions. Taking a deep breath, Kelam began to make his way around the ship, seeing if there was anything else of value they could take with them to further supply their work.

It took only an hour to finally get everything sorted out. Voron had gathered the slaves and informed them of the situation while leading them aboard the YV-260. Bellek and Rodric had also reported in stated that all repairs had been completed and that the bird was ready to fly once more. The only thing that was inoperable was the weapons, but just to transport the slaves home, they wouldn't be needed. All that was left was a report from Rika.
Truly curious as to what information she would find, Kelam finished his rounds of the ships and made his way to the room harboring the main computer of the YV-100. Hard at worked, he saw Rika there on her knees, her own personal terminal connected to the system, hacking through to uncover every bit of information possible. For a moment, he stood there leaning against the doorway, just watching her work. He was glad that he had come across Voron's ship and recruited him and Rika. Invaluable, they were, especially Rika and her ability to hack almost any system. It made his job so much easier. Hoping that the time spent here was fruitful, he spoke into her mind. <<Have you found anything?>>
Not once turning her head to her master, she merely shook her head.
"I'm afraid there is very little, my Lord. One would think there'd be something more. Every other slave ship we've come across has. But..." She then stood to her feet and turned to Kelam, holding up a dislay for him to see. "It seems that there is more here that we don't see. I found schedules for raids against a few select worlds. Only one of them is supposedly set for this ship, however, meaning that this is a larger operation, not a single crew looking to make money. I suspect a base somewhere with multiple teams going to different worlds. This was probably nothing more than an exchange to a client."
Kelam examined the small bit of information that the woman was able to gather. To think that these slavers were actually capable of something more organized was both impressive and disgusting. It'd be the next target they'd hit. End a larger operation and keep more innocents safe. <<Is there any information regarding the location of this base or who's in charge of it?>>
Rika shook her head with defeat.
"There is not. Probably in the event of someone actually seizing the ships, like we just did. That way, none could trace it back. I've gone over ever record multiple times, checked their records for hyperspace jumps, but nothing pinpoints any location. All we have is the schedule."
Kelam rubbed his chin for a moment before giving a smirk.<<Quite clever. Hiding all trace of their existence. Certainly works to keep their operation from ever being found should they lose a team. But they made one fatal flaw.>> He scrolled through the data Rika had gathered, stopping over a single piece of information. <<As you said, they have their schedules in the computer. Guess they didn't think things through. We'll head here, to the next raid on Lothal. We'll lie in wait for them and they'll lead us back to the main base.>> Giving Rika a nod, he turned and made his way back to the ship, his pace moving with purpose. Glad that she found something of use for Kelam, she gathered up her things and ran after him.
It was but a few minutes later that they were loaded back into their ship and disengaging the airlock, allowing them to pull away from the ships. Arcing their way around, they watched as the YV-260 broke away from the slave ship and headed off, disappearing into hyperspace soon enough. With them gone, there was but one thing left to do. Taking up arms, they unloaded on the remaining craft until it blew apart, leaving nothing left to recover. Once all was said and done, the ship began its retreat.
As they worked to break free, Kelam gave his orders. <<Set course for Lothal. It's time we caught a bigger fish.>>
Rika couldn't help but give off a slight giggle as she began loading the coordinates for their destination. Once they were loaded, she nodded to Voron. With everything set, the ship launched forward into hyperspace.

Emptiness. The space around the forsaken orbit of Abraxin couldn't show better how abbandoned this world was. Inhabited by Barabel colonists mainly it was one of the more neglected systems around the Tion Cluster, a sinister place, hardly considered of containing any worth.
The solitude of Abraxin was blasted away as an enormous Recusant-Class Dreadnaught, followed by its fellow Dominion Mon Calamari escorts entered the system by hyperspace. As this iron armada approached the system, spearheaded by the Dominion, Prophet C'Thyl overlooked from the Zatarus the operation as the occupation of Abraxin would begin soon. Adressing Commander Elre Zhir, a Nautolan sorceress in command of the Providence-class cruiser directly, he stood up from his seat. "It is time.", the Prophet proclaimed, "Prepare my personal shuttle. The inhabitants of this world will either bow to our will or be crushed. For this world will be one key to open our path!"
And as the Prophet left the bridge in order to land on the planet itself, several dropships and transports headed down their way to the surface of Abraxin already. The Quarren Dominion had arrived to occupy this planet.

With Abraxin being occupied, MC90 cruisers tend to patrol the system on a frequent base, as the construction of the Sorcerer's temple on the planet's surface continiued. Although the local fauna costs many of the employed workers and droids their life, the overseers of the project nontheless sacrifice more workforce into it, determined to see it done. According to rumors of the local military garrison of Dominion soldiers, further hidden laboratory sites have already been produced and sent by the Mon Calamari Shipyards into the atmosphere of the planet, domes in which the sorcerers tend to study and train. The local Barabel tend not to question the activities of the Dominion, as those who tend to investigate what's going on there never returned from the marshes, getting killed by one of the marsh haunts or maybe even worse.

Further shipments of force-sensitive beings and slave workers reach the planet of Abraxin. With the planet being patrolled usually by at least one of the Recusant-class Dominion Dreadnaughts, the Sorcerer training grounds on the surface grow slowly, as the future generations of force users gets indoctrinated into the philosophies of the Dark. The Rhandite instructors would oversee over the course of the next months these individuals, knowing that not all of them would survive the process. After all the altars of the Gods hungered for more blood and those, who strifed for power, wished to seek ulterior motives and began to adopt beliefes, which would more be attributed towards the Sith were the perfect sacrifices...

Abraxin finished the construction of a Bavos-II heavy-duty military space plattform over the foreign swamp world, as the Dominion maintains it's influence over this forlorn world. Although the planet was not an official patrol area of the Dominion navy, handpicked Dominion Dreadnaughts of the Recusant-class would watch over the planet with one being stationed at the time over the sector. Though barely anyone had reasons to approach a swamp planet with a small Barabel population, unauthorized ships, that didn't identify themselves to the Dominion and wouldn't take their route to one of the Barabel's settlement ports, had an unlikely chance to survive, for the Sorcerers ensured that their secret training facilities wouldn't even have to defend their temple academies from an outside threat.

The construction of Abraxin's orbital defenses near their completion as a pair of two Bavos-II heavy-duty military space plattforms circles the planet. Ships that would bypass the Dominion ships, that screen the systems around the planet would have a harder time to enter the surface of this forlorn world, which to the outsider looked like another uncivilized swamp sinkhole, just like Dagobah. Yet the shadowy fogs of Abraxin contained unspoken horrors, that any sane visitor would rather wish not to uncover, should they value their life more than anything else.

Small crafts, up to the size of a frigate, are launched from Abraxin's surface, reaching eventually outer space. While most of these vessels look like derelict vessels, their hyperdrive systems are still working perfectly fine, making them seem at first glance like a ragtag pirate fleet. Only briefly strange movements of something organic could be spotted here and there at some open sections within the hulls while the ships entered the solemn silence of the void, spreading out eventually. One by one they left the orbit of the planet, as if they were searching for something...

Finishing their construction, the orbital defense plattforms of Abraxin remain steady within it's orbit. The dark heart of the Sorcerer's holy sites was now seeing these days more activity, for the time of secrecy would at some point come to an end. Where some Sith lords were capable in the past of hiding entire systems from the knowledge of the public, the Quarren Dominion wasn't naive enough to trust on the secrecy of their Barabel mercenaries, native to the planet, regarding their missions. Plans, that had been laid out for a defense perimeter would now reach their final stage in order to ensure that even in the case of the Light's counter invasion the Dominion would still remain prepared in the meantime.
