XEONON SOLOMON FORMER HEAD OF THE IMPERIAL KNIGHTS, AND PRESIDENT OF SOLOMON MINES The name would no doubt grab attention from the Imperials present. The man was dead, he had been bisected nearly two years prior. This was not him as a god. This was the man himself in the flesh. He no longer looked the same he did alive though. What had once been a scarred face, was now something of beabeautyuty. This was what his face would have looked like had he not been a foolhardy youth. No scars marred it, the hole on his face was gone and his eyes almost looked real.
He wore a variant of Imperial Knight armour. As he was no longer amoung its ranks having been declared dead and all his armour was orange, but was lined with jewels and the imperial insignias outlined in gold. He had to flaunt his wealth after all. Grabbing a drink from one of the passing waiters with his left hand he entered the crowd his face either that of a man snarling or trying hard to smile. His eyes wandering over the red suits surrounding Delvaradus. Lingering on Delvaradus for a little to long

Landrin continued playing Sabacc until the herald announced the time. As always he won more hands than he lost. He eventually walked away from the tables and found himself a drink.

Ludo follows as Dun leads him to the balcony where Crom'nen stands. He joins the cadre surrounding the guest of honor and waits to hear what the Twi'lek has to say to him.

Xeonon let the mispronouncememt of his name slide. All to often people called him Soloman. In his youth he had killed people over it, now however his temper had well tempered. The red mist that would cloud his vision rarely came. Instead he focused on the woman in front of him.
Thats a beautiful dress you have on miss
Taking a drink of the cooled liquid he enjoyed the first real drink he had had in months for a second.
Its a shame about the tear though. Im afraid you have me at a disadvantage though, you know my name and I dont know yours.

A good man? This innocent country Rodian might not know a good man when he sees him. But, from what she knew of the human, it was safe to say that he was better than many, if not good. She handed the glass of champagne in her left hand (from which she had not even taken a sip) over to the Rodian, but continued to leave her right hand somewhat flirtatiously in the crook of his elbow.Well, any companion of Master Nadon is a friend of mine. Would you mind introducing us? Sure, Avaro looks around for Landrin, I think he went this way. Avaro begins to sip at the champagne and begins to cough violently. This drink is disgusting, why does anyone drink this stuff?

=Ar'lah= Excuse me for a moment. She followed the group outside. Stop! As a member of the Rylothian diplomatic core, I demand to know what's going on, and why you are detaining this young man. The Vors continued their gods example by standing like stone gargoyles with big beaks sniffing in the air. The security team, now cought up with two more of their own (not because of the "prisoner" they wanted to have a stronger detachment beside the "guest" Vor warriors. Not a lot of trust was lost between the two organisations.-Security officer- "Bothering guests, not being on the guests list, and carrying a lifethreatening weapon without permission." Most of the background information the security guards got from the security office, whom had run the mans ID, invitation and face against their database. Plus, the bothering guests part the security officers did see themselves.

Cass calls out. A weapon they have yet to show I actually have on me, my ticket was purchased this afternoon apparently after the guest list had been finalized and is currently being held by the security chief, interestingly enough not submitted as evidence. The bothering, after being harassed by security and constant insisting that I had a weapon hidden on my person, I aided the officers in finding two that others had snuck in and immediately turned them into security staff. Interestingly neither individual has been detained, just the me. One unarmed citizen, who's dream it was to attend a party like this. I spent most of what I had to buy my ticket so that money could go to this noble cause. I am sorry for not being good enough for this event. Cass' face red from embarrassment and anger at himself for thinking he belonged here I wanted to help the people of Ryloth, but I guess I am not even good enough to do that. He fights back a sob. Crying.

Standash notices the commotion. And hears what the detainee is saying. Excuse me Master Jedi, I can't just let this pass me by. Frankly i would be shocked if you can.
She runs to where the guards and the man where. Her dress shimmering. She has a fire in her eyes.
Excuse me! Is this how the Republic operates?! She yells with fire and passion. If this is how the Republic treats its citizens this must be far worse then I thought. Is this really what passes for justice here!?
The Princess is fuming. Eyes burning into the security officers like a phoenix.

The tizowyrm in Orik's ear translated the alien's speech. With two fleshy appendages on the back of its neck, Orik guessed that it was one of the Twi'lekks, a race often sold into slavery. Orik's master would like that idea. He filed the thought away for later. "How I am is irrelevant, only that I do the Gods' work. I am to announce the return of the Yuuzhan Vong and..." he swallowed audibly, as if the next sentence was hard for him to say. "help where needed, on the condition that it brings infidels closer to the Gods."
He watched the alien track a group of troublemakers, and decided to follow. Any excuse to flex his muscles. Behind Ar'lah he stood, a large and intimidating Yuuzhan Vong in full crab armour. "Answer the alien." He spat, but found they already had. He cast his eyes over their captive, who seemed formidable. "Have some honour. You will not reach the Gods' embrace by crying yourself there."

The thin shape in the white robe with the golden dragons on them was Seleevan Khar.

Her "kidnapping" had been news immediately after it happened, but when few leads emerged, the story quickly died down. However, the bounty her father had put out on her kidnapper was a substantial sum indeed.
I am Mia Ikova. My father served as the governor of Chandrilla for a few years until I was kidnapped at a party celebrating my engagement. He immediately resigned and dedicated all his funds to hiring bounty hunters to find me. This was about six or seven years ago now. Her eyes grew distant, as though trying to remember something. (Whispering) Has it really been that long?

He was surprised at how offhandedly she had told him that. He knew what it was like to be a hunted man, always looking over your shoulder never wanting to get close to someone. In a way he was still hunted, but now no one would be looking for him as he had officially died two years ago. Although they may know his name the face would be that of a stranger. The only person who would know of his return was in this room. A man he had helped spur into claiming his current role and even he would not recognize the face. It was a gambit Xeonon, had had to use in order to gain entry. Risk someone knowing him, and calling bullshit when they saw his face or just not get in. Living with a bounty on your head is never easy, and most wouldnt blame you for finding some hole and hiding in it. Very noble of you to come support this planet Mia Ikova. So tell me dear, did you come here by your lonesome?

Crom'nen bowed in his standard greeting as the ladies who barged up the balcony introduced themselves. His security wasn't doing worth crap. He had waited here, intentionally in the shadows above the party. It had worked well enough. Most people would avoid him, due to his controversial dealings with the Jedi and the Mandalorians. This Mando would not be bothered by either.Greetings Ms. Zitan, and thank you for putting on these festivities for our people. And Ms. D'Ordinii, I did not have the pleasure during my recent detainment on Mandalore. This is Senator Alfrick Stay'lod of Bothawui. Aya nods politely to the senator before greeting Crom'nen. It had been fairly obvious to Aya that the man had wanted to stay out of sight, due to both the secluded spot & the somewhat discrete guards that their host had nearly walked on to reach him. The tone of her voice was slight amusement.-Aya Apologizes, I did not mean to intrude but our host has a very forceful ... personality. As for your visit to the holy world, My clan has little clout there, & most of that is restricted to the more unwelcoming reaches.Aya watched with very slight interest as the young man that was the centre of the commotion was relieved of a lightsabre before a set of guards started to haul him away. She was amused to hear several people complaining that wasn't how the Republic operated. Even though it was fairly obvious that despite the location this was most definitely not a Republic function & those were definitely not local security officers. She did however approve of the swiftness & confidence that the security beings operated with. She would have to see later if they could be bought.
Far more interesting however was the herald announcing one of the Solomons, the current head of the family if Aya's guess was correct. She would have to see about striking up a conversation at some point tonight with the business being.

Bel'fima smiled at him.Not me. When I was a slave, my master would often have champagne at celebrations, then farm me out to his friends. The smell of champagne does not evoke happy memories to me. Meanwhile...Up on the balcony, Crom'nen glanced at Ludo. He wished to speak to him, in private, but that was not possible now. Chances are though, Ludo felt the same way.=Ar'lah= Excuse me for a moment. She followed the group outside. Stop! Plus, the bothering guests part the security officers did see themselves.=Ar'lah= It that all the problem? It seems like the guest is bothering him. She eyed the young man up and down, like a predator looking at prey. This delicious looking young man is with me. I hereby invite him. Now he has an invitation, and all priveledges of the Rylothian diplomatic core extend to him, including being able to carry ceremonial weapons. I believe this satisfies all requirements. Now if you'll excuse us, this young man is going to buy me a drink. She turned to the young man. Be a dear and run back in and get me a Cosmopolitan. Begin raised here on Coruscant, I'm not religious myself, but on Ryloth many follow their mother goddess. I've not been in contact with the outside galaxy much recently. You're the first Yuuzhan Vong I've ever seen. I would like to know more about you.

I am sorry to hear that your family is so ill treated. From the outside, it seems that all your culture values is ability, not lineage, but I suppose outside appearances are always deceptive. I too came from a culture of castes. I should be a merchant. Luckily, my parents saw more in me. So did the Clan Council. So instead of trying to save a few pennies on a load of nerf, here I am in the center of galactic influence. That is the true beauty of Coruscant. As the galaxy's melting bowl, each of us can seek opportunity. You may even find opportunity here, if you wish.

The young man was not let go. She was not the Security Chief. On the other hand, they did show her the man in charge, and continued pulling the youngster off. People where this woman came from may be playing loose with the rules, but this is the Capitol, 500 Republica. If things are not done right here, someone may die. Someone powerfull, prestigious and rich. They cant have that.
-Officer- "Talk to him about it miss."
The commander of Strike Force Nemesis Triton stood by the bar, pouring wine into that large beak of his. Seleevan Khar didnt seem to be bothered by the events thus far.

Orik did not think the captive was worth saving, having no honour in the way he comported himself, however his lord and master had ordered him to not cause trouble and announce the return of their mighty race. "We are the Yuuzhan Vong, and the Gods have given us this galaxy to cleanse - " he stopped talking, realising that he had told the truth instead of the lie that he was ordered to tell. "Apologies," he said, shaking his large, scarred and tattooed head. "The tizowyrn translates incorrectly. We have come to colonise, and to bring the Gods to the natives of this galaxy."

Ar'lah was forced to turn her attention from the Vong to the security people once more. She narrowed her eyes. You are security personnel, not police. You don't have the authority to detain this man without cause. You certainly don't have the authority to override diplomatic immunity. I don't care who you're working for. You are here to prevent an incident, not cause one. Her head shifted, pointing out all the people now staring. Do as I say, and if your boss is unhappy about it, then he, she, or it, can come talk to me. She then hooked a thumb in the direction of the Vong. Or perhaps, he needs to cleanse you?

The officer, whom was just doing his job, the exact job described by the woman before him, now stiffened. He had to choose between plague and cholera, and that is never a good choice to make. He did stick to hos job.
-Officer- "Miss, preventing an incident is exactly what we are doing. You have any complains, go to the event security chief, drinking wine over there, and present these complains. Take your.... thing with you."
