I believe we decided IC that individual clans would choose whether to throw in their lot with the First Order, Alliance, or stay out of it. However, I don't know if more than one writer even made a decision based off that other than Faelan Bralor deciding to side with the First Order. I'm not sure if Neassa Or'dinii has made a decision herself. I know I'm still undecided. Mostly because I haven't yet taken the time to write out Ka'ra considering the proposition.
I wouldn't be opposed to some sort of more interesting dynamic regarding the war though.

Ka'ra summed things up pretty well. In brief, the Mando'ade sent representatives to First Order and the Jedi/ Resistance to see what each side would be willing to bid for the services of the Mando'ade. The First Order offered economic and material benefits up front, and the Jedi/ Resistance offered the possibility of reward if/ when their side won. IC participation in the meeting to decide which bid the Mando'ade would accept was slight at best, and I had my character and his clan decide to accept the First Order's bid. Just as Ka'ra said, however, it was left up to the other clans to decide which side, if either, they would fight on. If anyone is interested, the IC events took place and can be read here. |

I think Kaalin would be ok with siding with the First Order, if It meant the over all betterment of Mandalorians as a whole. I just don't know how much IC the clans can contribute, anyone have an answer?

I am pretty sure that what a particular clan could contribute is more or less up to the player(s) with characters in the clan. If, for example, you are reasonably sure that you are the only active Karr clan player, you could write for the whole clan I imagine. As far as numbers of troops and so on, just stay within the individual player fleet and army limits, and I believe you are fine so far as IC contributions or resources are concerned.

Alright if thats the case, I'll just assume control of Clan Karr (planning on writing a backstory in my JOTW when I get some free time), and contribute those forces to the First Order's aid.

Clan D'Ordinii is going to side with the First Order. At least at first. Both of them are very Imperial in style. However, after a while they are going to break with the First Order due to conflicts of principle. The Clan is mostly built out of outcasts, misfits & rejects from galactic society (clones, slaves, low-tech species, outlaws, etc). The Order tends to ... not favour those groups, which will lead to political tension.

A'den was orphaned and NCO had adopted him into his clan. A'den was going to learn what it means to become a Mando'ade.

As far as Mando'ade expansion, at the moment I think Agamar is sufficient. OOC it was undertaken in part to try and give Mando writers something to participate in together, which never came about for whatever reason. IC I think it makes sense to focus on restoring Manda'yaim's defenses and so on before expanding further, something which will be easier with the economic aid of the First Order that working with them brings, and which having the influx or resources from Agamar will also facilitate. There are a variety of RP types I think have been opened up on the Mandalorian homeworld, ranging from defensive fleet and/or ground force training and the like to things like getting MandalMotors back up and running. As for where and how your character can contribute, that is really entirely up to you. Your fleet/ troops could help patrol and defend Manda'yaim or Agamar depending on where you'd prefer to write. I am not aware of what the First Order's next target world is, or where they might want the Mando'ade signing up to to fight with them to participate next, but will keep this thread updated with any information I get. |

I am New to the site but Mandalorian. I would vote for the first order timeline. Also my character is a loyal warrior for Mandalore even though she works as a bounty hunter and merc. So if there is ever a call for war I'm more than happy to jump in if you need another person.  |

Welcome to JvS Tel. Currently in character (IC) there is no Mand'alor & the helm is lost. There are a few IC clans scattered around. Ordo, Karr, Or'dinii, Bralor, D'Ordinii (My own clan & the current largest both IC & OOC), & Karde being the ones I can think of at the moment. Most, unless I am mistaken, are based on Mandalore. A few are located on other planets though (Or'dinii is based on Lehon in the Unknown Regions & D'Ordinii is based on Etti IV in the Tingel Arm). Okay, thanks for the info! At this time I know a lot of you are already involved with your own RP and therefore I know it will be hard to RP with anyone on Mandalore for a while unless someone were to invite me in the near future. I'm guessing many of us that RP on this site are from different times zones?

Yes, The whole world round in fact. Just off the top of my head I know of writers from France, The UK, the US, Australia, & Canada(?).
On a side note: the character that Non talked about knowing, the one that is good at finding things, is one of my characters. If you feel like trying to follow that line.
