During the Imperial Invasion of Mandalore, General Nase Talsey, separated from his men makes his way through the ruined city. Around him is the sounds of conflict but losses have been incredibly high on both sides and now small groups of survivors hunt one another. The General is clad in white Imperial Naval Commando armor, by now however it's pure white color is smeared with the black of blaster burns. He had long since lost his blast-shield, using it to defend against an RPG… Crouched behind an overturned air speeder he clutched his blaster carbine and took stock. His Carbine was at half power but his Westar Pistols and Lightfoil were unused. His jetpack still had enough juice for two bursts and enough to fire his missile. He heard the unmistakable sound of a basilisk wardroid approach. Glancing up he saw it swoop overheard and then make a wide turn to come back around… Perfect...
With his cybernetic eyes he tracked the trajectory of the Basilisk and bracing himself, he leaned forward. With a whoosh the missile from his jetpack shot out from it's berth and raced towards the wardroid. There was a satisfying explosion as the missile made impact. The Basalisk wardroid careened into a building before crashing 100-ish feet away...

Shit!
Ezakk ducked his head back behind the burning wreckage of a tank as the Basalisk crashed and exploded. He had been in a military outpost when the attack began. He was looking for a job to do. He was a slicer and that was a rare occupation in his culture. Mando ade preferred "honorable" jobs; things that would pull them into combat so that they could test their mettle. Though Ezakk was not opposed to this sort of business, he was just adept with technology. But, he slicing abilities deposited him here, on Mandalore, when the Imperials attacked. Without time to object, he had a credit chip shoved into his hand and a verbal contract was made; he was to fight for the Mandalore.
It was, in fact, his slicing ability that had drug him out into the street such as this. His Psicom 1260 Interface had picked up the signatures of a few cybernetics nearby and Ezakk went to investigate. He had been slowly creeping up on the cyborg when a Basalisk roared by. Ezakk had not been expecting a missile to be fired from the being his was tracking; it had startled him so much that he had stumbled behind this tank. His eyes scanned the wreckage that lined the corridor. At the same time, his Psicom attempted to narrow in the data signatures of the cybernetics that this unexpected opponent possessed.

Talsey rested his blaster carbine on a wing panel of the crashed air speeder, using it to steady his aim as he peered through the scope, looking for the mando pilot if he had survived. His infrared, though distorted by the heat of the crash picked up not humanoid movement. Satisfied after another 30 seconds of attention, he began to scan the surrounding area. All was matte grey, no signs of life… He passed over a yellow orange blob, and then he jerked his rifle back to focus on it through his scope. Someone was out there hiding behind a disabled tank. The General took a precious few seconds to activate his transponder… If the figure was an ally his eyes would be able to identify a fellow Imperial by their suit IFF.
Waiting, finger hovering over the trigger, the General waited. Finally he gave ump there was no confirmation. It was an enemy combatant, about 40 feet away… Debris strewn ground separated them. Nase considered his options… He perhaps had the element of surprise, a quick jump with his jetpack would have him atop the Mandalorian before he could react… The general stepped back and then tumbling his gauntlet activated the pack. With a whoosh he leapt up into the air, at the top of his parabolic arc he leveled his gun at the Mando, whom he now had a line of sight on, and pumped 4 shots towards the enemy combatant as he hid behind the tank.

A frequency was picked up by Ezakk's Psicom. He could tell that it was an identification frequency and given more time, he could have modified it to respond on a faked call sign. He, however, did not have that time as his opponent roared into the air on a jet pack, angled straight for him. However, his Psicom did manage to identify a couple of the man's cybernetics, but the ones that really caught Ezakk's attention was the imperial's cybernetic eyes.
Ezakk watched the man as he roared into the air. The split second that it took seemed like an eternity. His mind raced through what he had; he was clad in full beskar'gam, his A280 was strapped to his back and his KYD-21 was holstered at his waist, both of which had full battery packs. Other than his cybernetics, the only other things that Ezakk had was his slicing equipment. It only took a split second, but Ezakk formulated that the best course of action would be to evade the oncoming attack and try to disable the imperial's vision.
Ezakk dove under the wreckage of the tank and rolled underneath it to come up on the other side. With two more running steps, he bounded across the hood of a downed speeder, which he slid across the last half. Ducking down behind it, Ezakk subconsciously accessed his Psicom 1260 Interface. The chip in his mind would try to access the cybernetics that the general possessed. The Psicom tried to access the cybernetics that were the general's eyes, which recognized the frequency given off as a set of Hi-Sense Enhanced Eyes. Unfortunately, he was unable to access them. Ezakk initiated a program in his Swift 78A Vessel Courier System that would execute through his Psicom. It was a code-breaker program, which would methodically, over a short time, try to slice through the security systems of the Hi-Sense eyes.

The General's blaster bolts splattered against the ground, burning inch deep holes in the duracrete where the mando had been. As he finished his descent, he landed and tucked and rolled to distribute the force of his descent. The mando had already sneaked away, but it was no matter. With the tank between him and Talsey, the general was safe as he rose from the roll and planted his back against the burnt metal frame. He snuck a glance around it's end, searching once again with infrared. There was a small hiccup as his vision froze, but then returned to infrared. That had been strange, but it was probably battle damage.
With his opponent's location known, the General prepared himself to charge the speeder. He held his carbine with his right hand and with his left he reached behind his lower back to grab a small cylinder. The powerful thermal detonator was activated and casually rolled across the ground to come to a perfect stop by the crashed speeder...
3…2…1… The explosion was deafening but Talsey was undeterred. He peered around the edge of the tank with his carbine, looking to shoot down the fleeing Mando.

There it was! A flicker of access into his opponent's cybernetics! That was his gateway in. All he needed to do was shut down the systems inside of the eye to prevent them from sending or receiving signals to and from the brain. The program stop running through its code-breaking algorithms that sought to find a weak spot in the code and focused on the portal that was opened momentarily, whirring through sequences of characters in an attempt to gain a foothold in the eye's programming.
While the system in the chip that was implanted in Ezakk's mind was doing its job, Ezakk had some physical challenges to deal with. He had heard the clink of a grenade nearby and heard the first beep of its klaxon ring out. He knew that he did not have much time and, knowing how these sort of tactics work, Ezakk knew that the imperial was waiting for him to step out of cover to take a pop shot at him.
The scanner in Ezakk's buy'ce flicked about the debris and found the next suitable piece of cover. It was part of a wall that had fallen off of the building when the Bes'uliik had careened into it. It would be strong enough to resist subsequent attacks from grenades and other explosives if he made it there. Ezakk heard the second beep of the klaxon and bolted. In his motion to stand and run, he drew out his KYD-21 blaster pistol and aimed it, albeit haphazardly, in the direction of where he was before. He fired off three shots as he ran, all of which headed right for the imperial in cover. As he ran, the thermal detonator exploded behind him, showering him in dirt and small pieces of duracrete.
