How To Create an Account
So, you have decided to join Jedi vs Sith, but how do you go about joining this wonderful website? Well, following these steps will put you on the fast track to joining up and writing in no time.
To begin, click on the button located in the top right of the homepage. It will look like this:
Upon clicking on this button you will be taken to a log in screen. But wait, if you are new to the site, you do not have a username or password. Where do you go from here?
In the top right hand corner, there is a link to the place you need to be. There are two words there. Login, and Register. You want to click on Register.
You will then be brought to another page, asking you to put in a valid e-mail address.
Enter in your e-mail address and click continue to proceed. You will then be taken to another page, asking you to create a password and enter in other pertinent information
On the penultimate page, you will be asked to choose a Username for your account. This is what you can use to log into the JvS forums, as well as with your e-mail address. You must also accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of Proboards.
An activation key will be sent to your e-mail address by Proboards. Enter this activation key into the box (as seen below), and click the 'Activate' button.
Congratulations!
You have officially joined the website. All that is needed is to activate your account. Go to the email address that you listed, and you should have received new mail from Proboards pertaining to the activation of a new account. Follow the link and your account should activate without having to put in an activation key.
