It is with a very heavy heart that I have to announce my retirement from JvS.
I don't want to make a long speech or say my goodbyes, but for reasons I cannot explain I can no longer participate in RP here, at least for the foreseeable future. I've reached a crossroads in my life and the path I have to take will not be easy, and there is little room for things like this.
To my crew I must apologize, I had no intentions of leaving you hanging, but circumstances cannot be helped. If I ever get a chance to return I hope to see you all again, I hope to write with you all again, I hope to give you the story that you deserve.
To those members of the Perses Project, I suppose there is no more point in hiding this fact, I am the Mysterious Man, I created the Organization, I drew you into this RP and I regret to tell you that my part in it has come to an end. I deeply apologize for my long absences, they were however a result of the very circumstances that I cannot explain.
My original characters on this site were Lord Mortious and Broon Krano, and though Mortious did not make the transition here Broon did, and I apologize to the Jedi that I am unable to continue what I was hoping would be a promising storyline. And to Kay, perhaps one day we will get to finish what we started.
I leave with with fond memories, strong friendships, and with the thought that I hopefully did some good here whether it be as a member of the PCG or on the boards. It's funny, not a week ago I was saying that this place is special, it becomes part of who you are, and now, although necessary, I feel as though a part of me is dying.
I have a couple of requests before I go. First, I would like someone to carry on the Hall of Fame where I failed, one class is simply not enough, there are so many names that I would love to add to that list. Second, if I have written with you in the past, if we shared a particular story that sticks out in your mind, please share it with me as I go, I cherish my memories here and I like to think that perhaps I've created some for you as well.
So I guess it's that time to say goodbye, but that word is so permanent, instead I will leave you with a heart felt thank you. I'll see you later.
Scott/Ade.
