As a follow up to the discussion located here, a group of JvSers are making an attempt to go back to our roots and promote quick, spontaneous RP. All are invited to participate, whether you're a regular, a newcomer, or an old friend from long ago, stopping by for a visit.
Date: Tuesday, December 30.
Time: 10am-10pm EST
Location: Dagobah
Starting point:
There was a distress signal sent out to you, your faction, your friend (whatever) and you go. To bad it was sent out to all of them. Everyone. Getting there you find a prefab base. Whatever you do next is entirely up to you. Bring your main character, create a split timeline, bring a new alt, bring an NPC, whatever it takes, just come and have fun.
Some basic rules to keep in mind:
- The Natural Laws still apply. They may be bent, but not broken.
- If you show up you accept all risks to your character.
- Your Traffic Light badge colour will be taken into consideration, but will not save you.
- Keep the posts small, we do not need a novella (5-8 paragraphs for example).
- A plot may be given, but it is up to you to advance it or ignore it.
- Don't be a jerk.
- After the prescribed time, any activity may be continued by the participants, but under the regular rules of the boards.
- Death is optional after the timer ends, but try to find a way to make it fit.
- Any questions or disputes that arise should be handled by the participating Guild Councilors, if possible, before summoning a Whill.
- If you eat the last slice of bacon, it's your responsibility to cook more.
