Once more, this particular topic shall be brought up. Many of you are aware that the Cold War between the Republic and the Empire was Sinistra's brainchild. Sadly with her departure (as well as the departure and MIA statues involving other players), such plans have gone on hold and remained on hold for some time (too long perhaps). I always come and go, but this time, I really REALLY want to stay and get this ball rolling again. And I bet I am not the only one wanting to jump aboard once more and get this ship sailing again. It was a great way to pan out a galactic size conflict that can involve not only Republic/Republic-aligned and Empire/Empire-aligned planets and persons, but also those who are neutral. Those seek to perhaps create chaos in the middle of the two and take advantage of the conflict for their own benefits. Perhaps even those that wish to play both sides and see who they should truly choose.
A lot of things have been going on between both the Republic and Empire that could escalate this Cold War:
1. Change in the Empire's leadership
2. The rift between the Jedi Order and the Republic
3. The return of the Imperial Knights to the galactic stage
4. The rise of a new Sith Brotherhood on Korriban under Darth Flvin
5. A charity ball on Coruscant
And whatever else that can be added on that I may not be aware of...
I really want to see this once more blossom and bring forth new events and opportunities that can bring players and communities together! Even grant new players a chance to blend in and find their calling among the community. So whether you be Republic-aligned, Empire-aligned or Neutral, everyone gets a say in suggestion and a chance to enjoy and gain from it. Suggestions can range across the spectrum. Speak and say whatever you want!
