It did not take long for Siroun to determine that the increasingly transparent excuses Isabelle resorted to when either asked to schedule a time to meet together for the psychological assessment M had ordered be conducted for all Perses Project operatives, or to break an appointment reluctantly agreed upon to do so, would almost certainly require that she try and find another way to complete the assessment. That Isabelle would go to such lengths to avoid the assessment is something Siorun remains perplexed by; with the way Isabelle would appear to enjoy playing games, Siroun would have thought the woman would relish the chance to try and nimbly dance around a necessarily overt attempt to get into her head. Discarding the idea that Isabelle might fear that her powers of evasion might not prove a match for Siroun's powers of perception - as Isabelle is, from Siroun's observations of her, not likely to concede anything without challenge - Siroun has tentatively concluded that Isabelle's efforts to elude an assessment are but one more game for the woman to play.
Thinking that finding a way to complete her assessment without Isabelle knowing that it is being conducted could yield fruit where making appointments that have only been broken thus far has not, Siroun makes her way to the woman's office one early evening to to try one such alternate approach. Meeting Isabelle in her office, a place the woman is likely to be more at ease than Siroun's office, and under the pretext of merely seeking to socialize, Siroun puts the odds of her successfully learning anything useful at 50:50; knowing that it is just as possible that Isabelle sees through the tactic as it is that she does not. Siroun also believe that, even if Isabelle suspects she has an ulterior motive for her visit, the woman will not be able to pass up the opportunity to indulge in the games she would seem to play with a tenacity and delight that suggest to Siroun that Isabelle is as compelled to play the games as she is rewarded in some fashion by them.
Knocking on the door to Isabelle's office, Siroun, who has uncharacteristically unbuttoned her suit coat to suggest she is in a more casual mood and frame of mind than that she maintains when 'on the clock', steps back and puts her left hand in the pocket of her dress slacks as she waits to see which version of herself Isabelle will choose to receive her with.

Isabelle paced around the room with a large glowing blue gem in her hand, trying to think of a place to put it as she heard a knock at the door.
"Iggy! Door!"
She called out, still distracted by the placement of her latest prize.
The dark silvery droid stiffly made his way to the office entrance and opened the door.Dr. Dadurian! He said with excitement. This is a pleasant surprise. Come in. Come in.He turned to lead the doctor in and shuffled to the couch area to offer her a seat as he addressed Isabelle.Isabelle, Dr. Dadurian is here to see you.He looked back to Dr. Dadurian. Can I offer you a drink?
Great.
She turned to see Siroun as Iggy sat her down. Then with a smile Isabelle walked over to the couches and placed the jewel on the table before she sat down across from the doctor.
Well she's unbuttoned some of her buttons and showed up at my office which means that she's either conceded to the fact that I don't need her therapy or she's trying to trick me into thinking this is a social visit. Either way this could be fun.
"I'll take a glass of my wine Iggy, thanks."
Isabelle sat back with a smile and crossed her legs as soon as she had given Iggy her order.
"Nice to see you again doctor. I hope everything here has been satisfactory for you."

Nodding with a polite smile when Iggy tells her to come in, Siroun follows as the droid moves towards the couch and offers her a seat, settling herself on the couch comfortably and answering its question about a drink, "A drink would be lovely, Iggy. I'll have a brandy please, Cassandran if you have it."
Crossing her legs, left thigh resting over the right, Siroun smiles warmly when Isabelle walks over and places a glowing blue jem on the table before sitting, and says, "It's nice to see you as well. Allowing her posture and tone to reveal the exhaustion she is truly feeling, opening up being one way to invite others to do the same, Siroun sighs before tilting her head to the side and resting a hand on the back of her neck as she says, Satisfactory? Yes, I suppose. Living on, or is it in, a space station does take some getting used to. Glancing upwards with a self deprecating smile, Siroun concedes that it may be only her that is experiencing difficulty with how the move from a city to a station deep in space has played with her sense of time and other rhythms, Or it is taking some getting used to for me at any rate. I'm sure I'll adjust eventually, Siroun muses, her tone suggesting she believes her difficulty will be overcome in due time and is not troubling her deeply. Having come to suspect that two of Isabelle's favorite conversational subjects are herself, or whatever version of it she is selling, and her acquisitions, Siroun offers the woman another topic to take up should her own minor troubles not be of interest, glancing towards the jewel Isabelle had placed on the table and asking, Something new? Smiling with an arched eyebrow, Siroun jokes, Or is it some combination of old, 'borrowed', and blue?"

As Iggy shuffled away and Siroun began to speak Isabelle got herself comfortable. Dressed a bit down from her usual attire already, a dark violet dress shirt and grey pinstriped skirt, it didn't take much for her to get comfortable. She first slipped her heels off and tossed them aside, then pulled her hair up into a loose bun showing her rather expensive looking earrings off for just a moment before she took them out and laid them on the table next to her jewel."What? That? Oh god no."She pointed at the jewel and then waived it off as she pulled her legs up on the couch just when Iggy returned with their drinks."Thank you Iggy."She said quietly before continuing her original thought."That's nothing. The Jewel of Yavin, I 'acquired' that a few years ago, completely legally."Well legal--ish."It's a long story."She took a sip of her wine and smiled genuinely at Siroun."It's the artificial gravity. --Well the artificial everything I suppose. It happens to everyone. When I first came here I couldn't sleep for a week, I had trouble eating, and don't get me started on the queasiness. I was a mess."She laughed genuinely and took another sip of her wine. She was lying of course, not completely, the not being able to sleep part was true enough but that was due more to her wanting to sleep in her bed on her ship than the discomfort of the artificial gravity. She was used to space and artificial gravity, she spent most of her time in between worlds.

An affinity for reading the body language and inflection of others is of little use when the being in question is consciously striving to conceal their intentions or emotions, and as Siroun highly doubts that Isabelle has so much as taken a breath when in the presence of other that was not calculated, she knows better than to assume that the woman's casually relaxed demeanor and tone are in any way genuine. If Isabelle has a tell that reveals when she is acting, Siroun has yet to spot it, and given that she has so little information about the woman, little in the way of a means to compare what she says with what can be determined to be true. Trying to learn anything about Isabelle's true personality, or anything about her motives or strengths and weaknesses where it comes to operating with others, will be challenging, but Siroun has never been one to turn away from such.
"Thank you," Siroun tells Iggy when the droid returns with their drinks. Holding the brandy snifter in both hands to warm the liquid, Siroun arches an eyebrow skeptically when Isabelle refers to the jewel as 'nothing', smiling in amusement at the description, scant though it ultimately proves to be, of how Isabelle came to 'acquire' it. The fact that Isabelle, who has never shown any reluctance when it comes to talking about herself or her acquisitions in the past seems to prefer not to go into details about the means with which she came to possess the Jewel of Yavin, if that is even what it truly is, suggests that the tale is either too long to make the telling worth while, or perhaps of little interest to the woman given that it was acquired by legal means; a tale that showcased her abilities, on the other hand, would almost certainly be one Isabelle could not resist telling in Siroun's estimation. Her object being to appear as though she is content to keep their conversation as simple and free from ulterior motive, Siroun decides that it is probably best to let the subject go as Isabelle would seem to want.
Smiling as Isabelle laughs after describing her own struggles with adjusting to life aboard a space station, Siroun says, "I suppose I should consider myself fortunate then. I've not experienced any queasiness as yet, but the trouble sleeping I can relate to. Her own sleeping issues stem from insomnia rather than anything to do with being in space for an extended period of time, but the impression of having something in common could possibly lead Isabelle to relax more than she otherwise might, so Siroun doesn't feel the need to clarify her remark any further. I'll have to hope that my trouble is as quickly resolved as yours. Lifting her snifter to nose the brandy, first at chest height and then from beneath her chin, Siroun then holds it beneath her nose for a moment before finally taking a small sip. Sighing contentedly, Siroun decides to try mirroring Isabelle subtly to see if that technique might work, beginning by slipping her own shoes off and pulling her legs up on the couch. Gesturing with her brandy snifter towards the jewel, Siroun asks with casual interest, I'm intrigued; if that qualifies as nothing, which of the items in your collection are of the most value to you? Not in terms of financial worth, Siroun qualifies her question, taking a sip of her brandy before continuing, but in terms of what they mean to you."
