Non-Dark Side Empire

That post was made before all the recent changes to the Empire (basically before my char took it over after Sinistra left). So allow me to clear some stuff up since the major transition from one ruler to another:

The current Empire, led by Nicademus Delvardus, is becoming less Dark Side. He is about to accept the fealty of the Imperial Knights and become their Grandmaster shortly (as per duty of the Emperor dating back to the Fel Dynasty. Xeonon is already setting this ceremony up on Kuat as we speak). The reason why the Imperial Knights came back to the Empire was because of Nicademus being elevated to the throne of the Empire after Sinistra retired. Nicademus is a non-force person and not aligned with the Dark Side, thus more suitable to be chosen as the Emperor to serve by the Imperial Knights. He is also acquainted with the Imperial Knights since his tenure as Head of State for the Imperial Remnant. Whereas before, if I remember correctly, the Imperial Knights were prepared to tell Sinistra, when she was Emperor, that they planned to distance themselves from the Empire due to the dark aligned of its ranks. A lot of the Sith have started to fade out (whether by inactivity or other reasons). Nicademus has wanted to bring back the Imperial Knights as the face, enforcers and protectors of the Empire since he took the throne. Kind of been his biggest propaganda ever since taking the mantle of Emperor.

The Empire will always be the Empire, but there will be some changes here and there. Got the Cold War still going on between the Republic and Empire, which players on both sides (and third parties) have been devising ways to continue and even escalate this Cold War. Also got a Republic Charity Ball being planned where the Emperor plans to make a public appearance as a bold political move by the Empire towards the Republic. I have also been planning missions for the Imperial Knights with a variety of purposes and goals.

So best way to sum this up, the Imperial Knights are uniting with an Empire that does support them and is willing to make them once more the face, the enforcers and the protectors of the Empire as they were under the Fel Dynasty. They have an Emperor that they can serve and an Empire they are willing defend. Its something I have always wanted to do.

Wow, a lot of information. Sorry if I went overboard, but I felt I needed to cover all basics.

And by no means am I trying to discourage, just straightening facts out since that post you quoted is a bit outdated due to the recent transition and changes within the Empire.
