Hi,
So I'm new, I'd welcome any suggestions as to how to improve my profile, it's still a work in progress but I'm trying not to be seen as a PGer so if it looks dodgy please talk to me.
Also I need a place to write, I can't post daily, I may only be able to post once a week at times, but I'll try my hardest to let your known if there are any issues.

Uh, your profile looks fine, honestly. One of the next things to think about would be what specific skills or training your character has.
And don't worry about posting speed, there are plenty of us who don't post every day. As long as you're upfront about what to expect, you'll be fine.

Hey welcome to JvS!
I think your profile looks cool very interesting and mysterious character with the whole not liking to take the helmet off. Only thing I can think of adding is perhaps a personal spaceship unless you had intentionally not put or I was dumb enough to miss it (am on my IPod so not a very clear view of the profile). Anyway I wish you the best of luck in your mercenary work and if you need anything just feel free to ask.

Welcome, Se'ren!  Profile looks great, actually! Can't wait to see your story develop.  If you're looking for a quick way to get into the universe or want somewhere to start figuring out your character, you could always check out the SpontRP. That's a link to the most recent plot/setting we're looking to get into on Nar Shaddaa Marth 6th-8th. Feel free to post there an ask questions about it! Most of the plots/character interactions on JvS are pre-planned or semi closed, so we're trying to bring back some open spontaneous posting opportunities. Basically, for the SpontRP, we pick a setting or mini-plot (our last one was a derelict ship), jump right in, and see what happens over the course of a few days. It's wickedly fun, but it can be more fast-paced than regular RP. If you want something slower, just scroll through the JvS RP Planning section and see who else is looking for RP. I see you're a merc, you could also check out The Bounty Board. It's an up-to-date (most of the time) collection of all the active bounties on personal characters right now, and even if you're not looking to collect, you could always contact one of them and plan some RP, be it based around the bounty or otherwise. Otherwise, we're all here to answer questions! You could post a little about your character here and what you'd like to explore/accomplish/write about, and see who bites. |

Thank you for your assistance, I'll take a look around and find somewhere I think I'll fit in.
I like the idea of searching for a bounty, Karana. Don't care if I catch them or not really, or even if I come off worse for it.
