Lord Ifrit stood with his warglaives unsheathed and in hand as he looked upon the entrance to Mount Tantiss, much like Byss and Ziost before it, the dark side of the force flowed forth from palpatine's former private storehouse. It had long since fallen into disuse, but that was merely because the locals lacked the imagination and initiative to know how to use the mountains resources to their full advantage. Although he had cursed himself in the past for not moving upon strongholds in the past, as he stood here now, he knew that this was indeed the place from which he would operate from. When he had learned of this place from the holocron, he had been dubious, but seeing the entrance alone, was enough to dispel any of his previous reservations about the locations suitability
Ikaros and Nymph flanked Ifrit just a couple steps behind him, with Ikaros wielding her Energy Bow and Nymph wielding her Blaster Pistol, acting as long range support to Ifrit's close quarters combat style. Although Nymph was unable to sense the force, Ikaros could very much sense the power spilling forth from the mouth of the cave leading into the base. This place was indeed tainted by the dark side of the force, but, it was a similar taint to that which she had felt on Byss, due to the fact that Darth Sidious had inhabited or used both locations, so it was only natural that it would be similar. In fact, she had a feeling that was why Ifrit and his master had chosen this location, because of its familiarity, at any rate, it was good to be securing a more permanent home at last
*Banríon meanwhile brought up the rear guard, DXR-6 disruptor sniper rifle rifle in hand as she scanned the surrounding forest for anyone who might be tailing them or hoping to ambush them, but so far, everything seemed all clear. She would have prefered to scout out the Mountain for a few days first, but Ifrit had insisted on making for the place first and making sure to secure it, before they settled in for an extended period of time. She could understand his frustrations from the past, since twice already, outside parties had forced their departure and relocation to new destinations, but this time, they weren't going to take that risk again. On the upside, this time around their group was stronger and more determined than in the past, meaning that this attack may yet have some success and not just fail miserably*
Sensing that the moment was right, Ifrit signalled to the others to follow him as he made his way towards the sealed blastdoors, cautiously expanding his field of view to beyond the doors as he approached them, in an attempt to catch sight of any unexpected ambush that might be waiting on the inside. Before he could stop to motion Nymph forward to hack the door controls, the metal let out a loud groan, moments before the blast doors seemingly opened of their own accord, causing Ifrit to pull his warglaives into a defensive position whilst the others had their weapons sighted down the hallway beyond the doors. It seemed that once again they had arrived too late, and someone else was already inhabiting this Mountain, since by all accounts, it should be abandoned, it was in that moment that he was about to speak, when he paused a moment
*The sound of shifting armour plates, and foot falls on metal, could be heard echoing along the hallway leading to the blastdoors a few moments before the lights started to flicker on as Tasradan made his way to greet their guests. He stopped short at the doors and gave a short bow to the assembled group, before surveying the group with his glowing green eyes, before settling his gaze on Ifrit, quite aware already of who the man was and who his master was. He had been awaiting the groups arrival ever since Bara'duun had contacted him and let Tasradan know of Lord Ifrit's arrival, and now, here the Sith Lord in training was. Tasradan then took a knee and bowed his head to Ifrit* Greetings Lord Ifrit, and welcome to Mount Tantiss. My name is Tasradan, at your service...
Ifrit had not let his guard down as the lights came on and the strange alien came forward, decked out in armour, it was only when the creature kneeled before him and introduced itself as Tasradan, that he was really confused. He did not recall having met this Tasradan before, nor was he particularly aware of anything that he had done yet that would warrant anyone knowing of him. He could already tell the creature was armed with a father unconventional lightsaber blade that was attached to his right forearm, which made him wonder if the creature was also force sensitive, amking him a slightly more dangerous foe. The holocron of Bara'duun could sense Ifrit's apprehension, and decided it was time to speak up and inform his apprentice of the situation, lest Ifrit decide to strike Tasradan down Be at ease my apprentice, he means you no harm. In fact, I informed him of our impending arrival, but I applaud your wisdom to be wary of him, well done.
If you say so master. Very well then... Thank you Tasradan, please, rise. So, am I correct to assume that you control the Mountain? and if so, am I also correct to assume there areothers like you? Ifrit then motioned towards the girls to lower their weapons, which they all did so a few moments later, having decided to trust Ifrit's assessment that Tasradan was not a threat, with the three of them giving him a nod in greeting
*Tasradan nodded and rose as he was commanded to and returned the nods of greeting that he recieved, before returning his attention to his new master to answer the mans questions. Indeed, there was four others with him, although, they were all currently in the main security station to await Ifrit's arrival, since Tasradan had figured it best that he greet Ifrit and the others alone first. He was quite certain that Ifrit would be thoroughly impressed with everything that the Mountain had to offer, especially as far as progressing the mans training was concerned* Indeed we do control the Mountain, although, it would be more correct to say that YOU control the Mountain, Master. And there is four others, all of whom await us in the main security room, ready and waiting to pledge their allegiance to you. We may be few in number, but we are more than enough to serve your needs for the time being. If you like, I can introduce you to the others, and then give you all a guided tour? I am quite certain that you will be surprised by the resources available to you...
Ifrit took note of Tasradan's response, honestly quite pleased that there was atleast a handful of them that were proper warriors, not that he doubted Ikaros or Nymph's worth in battle, but he felt much better having a dedicated fighting force. He glanced at the others, before giving Tasradan a nod, quite certain that the introductions and a tour of the Mountain would be invaluable to working out his plan for moving forward from this point, since he wasnt quite sure entirely of what had been stored here by Palpatine, just that it had once been used as a private storehouse by the Sith Lord Very well, lead the way...

*Tasradan lead the way through the hallways of Mount Tantiss, leading the assembled group from the entrance doors, into the mountain and up a couple levels, before leading them along another short corridor and finally into the Security Station, where Zoanos, Ashtaath, Feloros, and Lararun were waiting. The four Sith Marauders quickly took a knee when they saw Ifrit enter, bowing their heads in respect to their new Master, as Tasradan pointed to each one of them in turn and introduced them* Allow me to introduce Zoanos, Ashtaath, Feloros, and Lararun. Each of them capable bladesmen and pilots, ready to serve at your command...
Ifrit visually inspected each of his new warriors, almost a little taken aback by their strange physiology that seemed like nothing he had ever encountered before, at least, not as a single being before. They seemed to exhibit traits of several different species, meaning it was very possible these creatures were experiments that were likely developed by Bara'duun, when the Sith Master had been amongst the living. Regardless, they did indeed seem to be capabale warriors, and they would undoubtedly help his cause greatly. He then motioned for them to rise It is a pleasure to make your acquaintances. Allow me to introduce Banríon, Ikaros, and Nymph... He gestured to each woman in turn as he introduced them, none of whom seemed to be all to willing to trust their new allies so quickly, which was a good thing, since it meant the girls would have his back if anything went south. It was then, that he turned his attention back to Tasradan, curious about one of the statments the Blademaster had made, that could lead to some new surprise I'm curious Tasradan. You mentioned they are capable pilots, yes? Does this mean there is starfighters here?
*If Tasradan had a mouth, he was certain he would be exhibiting a smile, as his Master picked up on the subtle comment he had made about their piloting skills, which was going to act as a good segue into the tour of the facility. He gave a deep bow, before motioning for everyone to follow him* You are most astute Lord Ifrit. Allow me to show you to the hangar bay... *With that, Tasradan lead the way out of the Security Station and back to the turbolift, which took them up another couple levels, before Tasradan lead the way along another corridor and then up a short flight of stairs into the main hangar bay, where sat an Imperial Gozanti-class Cruiser, with 4 prototype TIE/SI's docked to it. It as an impressive sight to behold, even if it was by no means a proper fleet, it was at least the start of one* A fully functioning Gozanti cruiser, and 4 TIE Super Interceptors, prototype starfighters that mixed TIE technology, with hyperdrives and Astromech droids. You wont be disappointed in them, that's for sure...
A Gozanti-class Cruiser was by no means something to laugh at, and a fully functioning one at that was quite impressive indeed, especially considering how many years it had been since the ships had seen service. On top of that, there was also the 4 prototype TIE/SI's that sweetened the deal to no end, especially if the Marauder's were as skilled pilots as was claimed, and the ships themselves were as good as, if not better, than the standard Interceptors. If this was anything to go by, then Mount Tantiss did indeed hold a lot of useful resources in store for him to make use of Quite impressive. Perhaps I underestimated the value of this base. It'll be a nice change of pace having a cruiser, compared to the somewhat tight quarters of that old transport that we used for travel. Please, do lead on Tasradan...
