Deep within the sub-basement of the Yavin Academy far removed from the Tech bay and The war room was an unsuspecting Classroom with equipment to help young Padawans and aspiring artisans hone their craft in helping them to make a lightsaber under guidance of master artisans who served the academy.
However the room now holds a secret. because of how cabinets could be tucked away to reveal screens and training lockers for special ops missions, Diamonte Tuhlute found it acceptable to convert these secret spaces into a secondary labrotory that could accommodate multiple conditions including a “Clean room” for building new technologies.
The room is open to all students when it is in use as a classrooms, and Masters/Academy Administration/Supervised guests in use as a laboratory

Returning to the class room i had dubbed as “Mine” always had a special feeling. especially when i was doing a private project such as fabricate the latest component of a starfighter, sculpt the latest superstructure of a telecommunications network, or just to examine the intricacies of the latest rare crystal I had found Entering the room i walked into a closet to the left that served as a means to change from “Street clothes” such as the robes that i had worn to the ceremony, into a clean suit with a superfluous white Lab coat-esque robe. the process was necessary precaution in case I was ever dealing with hazardous materials… or i needed to convert the room into a clean room in order to work on a microchip. upon leaving the room, I removed the helm and placed it on one of the student’s desk.
“ Ok, wake up Gordon.. Nappies are over. secure the room so that no unauthorized guests may join us today. We have two guests, that i am expecting. The first is Jedi Master Ael Jade she is a member of Starnet, so no unnecessary tracer is required. Kel'Al Raganella on the other hand will. trace movement of Ao-Sei, and when Kel leaves the party have the blue star lead him here.” :: Sir, activation of security will require priority 1 access with Starnet and Proto Jedi Holonet. Authorization code?:: “ Authorized By Divine Providence. Tenka gomen” :: Authorization accepted, room is secured, unlocking subject cabinets:: As the computer recognized my command, a partition lowered making the Superfluous passage i entered the room through now necessary. as well, several of the cabinets tucked in on themselves to reveal additional storage that i was using for a couple experiments including
- Studying foreign metals found in an amulet i had with me from birth
- Encoding data and memories of the process for making the Flat lightsabers into a holocron crystal
- encoding a data disk with the scrubbed details of Project: Proto D-Eta last known coordinates and vectors.
I went into the nearest cabinet and fetched two pair of Glasses that augmented Human vision to see closer to how my optical implants allowed me to in regards to sub-wave holograms, and placed them at the desk nearest the entry. as i took a seat at the teachers desk, i took note that i had left the roll with 11 of my new lightsabers out on the desk… it was convent so that when i returned i could pass some of them off onto hands that would keep their secrets. Upon sitting down i shot a brief message to Jade once morebringing up the aforementioned ‘Subwave holos’ and began experimenting with ways to shut the ship down so in case the fighter is found abandoned and -mostly- intact. by the time Gordon beeped to signal that one of the invited guests had cleared the changing area, i was engrossed in the projection and if i was looking up was looking past the person entering until they cleared their voice.

Finding Diamonte's workshop within the Yavin Praxeum would not have been an immediately obvious or simple task for Kel, if he had not had the assistance of the miniature Ao-sei to lead the way as he departed the Grand Audience Chamber. This was only his second visit to Yavin in the last eight or ten years, and almost everything about the place had changed in that time. Fortunately, the blue glow of the prototype illuminated his path, and a few minutes after leaving the Knighting afterparty, he reached the sub-basement and located Master Tuhlute's "classroom." Kel glanced up and down the hallway in both directions, surprised at having been led to such an unassuming door, and a slight smile crept into his expression. Then, he rapped on the door, and simultaneously stretched out through the Force, touching the mind of his fellow Jedi Master just enough to let him know who had arrived. I'm here.

The doors opened as quickly as Kel reached out in my direction. i was honestly expecting Jade to arrive first, but i busied myself while he got into the walled off alcove.<< door to the left… i am not working with materials that you need to change clothes to a clean room scrubs for.>> as Kel made his way through the changing area, I went to the closet and grabbed the things i needed. a chip to formally include the Correlian master into Starnet, a data disk with the details requested of me regarding scrubbed data of Master Matango, and a new Holocron crystal. placing these items in front of a line of 10 hilts, each possessing the unique flat bladed blade that Pre Vizla’s Darksaber was known for. but these blades were very much using colors from the spectrum known for use in lightsabers. As keel stepped out of the room i chuckled as from his first impressions i might have thought he was not impressed. walking over i handed him a pair of glasses that had been sitting on the table nearest to the entry… the same glasses whose lens would allow Kel to see all the sub-wave holograms that littered the room in the 5 minutes since i had entered the lab, including… several different screens detailing systems on the Alpha prototype D-eta which like Matango was lost in deep space. two spectral models, one of the same D-eta, and one of a new wireframe starfighter design, and a screen that was marked ‘encoding complete’ in regards to the encoding of the data disk.
“ Welcome to my humble hole in the wall… I may have under-exaggerated the level of completion that i had reached with this space.”

As the doors swung open, Kel stepped through them, and paused for a second to scan the room, before proceeding through another door to his left, as directed. The Corellian found himself passing through an intermediary clean room airlock similar to the one in CEC's manufacturing plant, only on a much smaller scale, then standing in the middle of a relatively modest laboratory, with incredibly compact cabinets and other storage spaces. The room seemed surprisingly sparsely furnished, however, with little in the way of computers visible. But then Diamonte handed his guest a pair of special glasses, and then he understood. The room was alive with holographic projections -- and they were undetectable to the naked eye.
"I ... wow." He stuttered, as he paused, taking in each of the starfighter projections. "This is, ah, very impressive." Almost unaware of what he was doing, the Jedi Master walked slowly toward the spectral model of the D-eta starfighter, and began to circle it. Something about the leading edge of the wings caught his attention, and he froze for a second, then his eyes lit up. "Oooh, of course." He mumbled to himself. Clearly some long-unanswered question had just become clear in the former starship designer's head.
But then he tore himself away from the model, and made eye contact with Master Tuhlute. "Excuse me, I must be behaving like a child in a candy store. You invited me down here for a reason, and I'm sure it wasn't only to ogle your handiwork." His deep blue eyes twinkled.

“ Well… yet i did call you down for another reason… but that said, there is always times to compare notes on innovations.” I smirked, it was rare i went into a braggart type mode, but while this still wasn’t one of those times, I did feel like explaining the genesis of this tech. “ this was one of the more fun experiments that i had attempted since my accident when i received biotech Upgrades. when i started i had several attempts to integrate the HUD that i gained as a byproduct of having a cybernetic eye. but i had started to see certain particles in the air that that i could not with my original eye. at this discovery i started to manipulate these particles in an attempt to manipulate them. as you can see from my end result, it worked. Subwave holograms are a standard feature to everyone i have given a Starnet chip… even if i haven’t been able to inform them about it just yet. i am on the fence however, as to whether or not the feature should be included in the release of the Jedi Holonet. If it does get intergrated, there will be a restriction that only ranking members of the order may have read/write permissions” realizing i had started to ramble i moved about the room, storing some of the screens by ‘minimizing’ them before moving towards the front of the room and what would be in the other mode the ‘Teacher’s’ of ‘Demonstration’ table. “ But you are right, i did call you down here so that i could Validate your parking, and give you the gift bag prepared for coming” as i walked to the white board side of the desk, i grabbed a rigged backpack that at one time would have been used by clone troopers in the GAR. I stood at the row of 10 lightsaber hilts and moved the first and the ninth from my perspective towards me, so as to show that i had claimed those. grabbing the first item that was furthest on my right i held it up for Kell to see, explaining it before i put it in the Backpack“ This is a Biokey. because of the nature of testing and everything surrounding Ao-Sei, i wanted to add an extra level of security to it, and so presently she is bio-locked so that only i can pilot her. the Biokey is the “Reset” that allows a new pilot to be accepted, however unless you disable the function, the Biokey will be required input any time a new pilot takes command of Alpha model Ao-sei, or “Blue star” Stafighter.” Placing the key into the backpack, i next picked up a hexagonal Microchip in it’s shock proof case. holding the case i explained about prototype network.“ This microchip is your official invitation to join the Starnet system. please be aware that your acceptance does mean that once the chip is installed on your primary coms device, that certain metadata will be scanned and uploaded in addition to meta tags that are used to indicate location should something happen to you. Should you accept, there are several messages waiting in your inbox. including: how to set up your own subwave holographic control program, how to enable/disable the biolock on the Alpha model “Ao-sei”, and my family’s Paprika Numa Recipe. that last one is really delicious and i would have made it for all of the masters if you were sticking around the planet longer. also be informed that there is a Chip already installed in the comms systems on ‘Ao-sei’… but that is strictly there for diagonstics and transfering data regarding performance of the test model.” I put the case into the backpack, reaching to finger the holocron crystal when my eye was caught on the sign that said “encoding complete” and nodding my head i moved from behind the table to the second alcove to collect a old format data disk, but it into a shock proof case before walkng back… this was about D-eta“ This, is all the data you requested on the Flight path of the Project: D-Eta Prototype. as you can see, that is the primary project on my mind at the moment. I am trying to find a way to neutralise any threat that exposure of the D-eta blueprints could lead to… including unit Detonation. I should have a menu of choices ready to transmit and in your messages by the time you step foot on corellian soil.” placing the case inside the backpack, i place my hands on the table and for a moment not a word was spoken. then the crystal, the last thing in the original line up of item’s levitated from its position and i spoke once more when it steadied itself in mid air in front of Master Raganella.“ For the longest time i have been trying to find my legacy as a jedi artisan. when i found archival footage of the lost “Darksaber” I leapt at the chance to study and return these blades to the galaxy. In my studies i have found that there are nine possible Lightsaber crystals compounds that can be used to focus the blade. And that inaccuracies of any sort when it comes to the make up of these compounds results in a black bladed ‘darksaber’… currently I am the only sentient citizen in the galaxy that knows how to create these nine crystals. and that has put my in a tight spot. What i said before is true, I do not trust the new Open Forum Governance model for the jedi order. and with that in mind i am rather paranoid about the fate of my projects. If I am to back up my knowledge, i would rather have it be with someone i trusted than an open sourced archive that could be compromised giving secrets to the sith, or another enemy of the order. guard it well, and share it with those student you think have are trustworthy enough to be trusted with this artisan’s discovery” I winked at kel signaling my theatrics in that bit… levating the crystal into the pack i placed my hands on the first and ninth hilts before speaking.“ And the last treat is entrusting one of the first 10 Darksabers to someone i trust. feel free to pick any one of the hilts you so choose… but i only ask that as you choose, you give me as full of a briefing as you can regarding your proposed starfighter squadron.”

The technology reminded Kel'Al of some of CEC's most cutting edge work on Heads-Up Displays turning Tagert Hunt's prime, only Diamonte had taken the technology to another level. As the topic of conversation moved from the lab to his 'gift bag' however, the Corellian forced himself to focus on the objects that Tuhlute had produced from within his desk. He nodded but said nothing as the biokey and the Starnet onboarding kit were explained. They were straightforward.
At the Paprika Numa recipe, however, Kel cracked a smile. It was no secret -- the way to win the friendship of a Corellian was through his stomach. He would be sure to try it out, the very first chance he got.
"Thank you for your hospitality, your gifts, and your help in locating Master Matango." He nodded in respect, and extended his right hand to take the seventh prototype darksaber. "I have a significant personal collection of lightsabers and related artifacts, and this will become a treasured part of my knowledge repository on Corellia."
Taking the backpack, Raganella glanced around the lab one final time, then hesitantly took a datacard from his own belt, hastily programmed something onto it, and handed it to Master Tuhlute. "As for a briefing on my plans, beyond what I have already told you, this will have to suffice. Be sure to destroy the card once you have read it." He grinned. "Otherwise, it may make a mess of your nearby computers in a few hours."
With that, and with Kel'Al's writer perplexed at the deletion of Tuhlute's account, Kel'Al departed Yavin.
