The Grand Convocation Chamber, also referred to as the Senate Rotunda, was the largest room in the Senate Building on Coruscant. It was over 100 meters tall and consisted of 1,024 pods for Senators from all over the galaxy. The entrance to the Chamber was the Atrium of the Senate, and it was ringed by the Grand Concourse. When choosing a color scheme for the walls, ancient designers chose lavender”as it was the only shade that had not been historically associated with mourning, anger, or war in the entire Galaxy.
In the center, a thirty-meter-tall podium would rise up from the Chancellor's holding office for the Senate sessions. The podium is currently fully risen.

Placing one foot upon the edge of a pod, I looked out over the Senate Rotunda have a good location to see everything. I was located near the top maybe the 7th row from the top its hard to tell when there is so many damn rows, and pods. It almost hurt to count them all. Though It was astonishing, never before had I stepped into the Galactic republics shinning example of Diplomacy. This is where empires fell, and others arose. Dragging every thing I could from deep with in my throat, I gathered it into my mouth and with grace pushed myself up onto the edge an spit out into the Rotunda. What a fucking waste. Idiots gathering in one place to argue who had rights to what shipping lanes, and who was being a meany to others by blockading there worlds. It would be so easy to erase half the problems by blowing this disasters place to smithereens.
The Republic was a joke.
I stepped off the pod dropping towards one below me, Drawing Ashala in to me. I used her to cushion my landing in the next pod. Why was I here again? O that's right, I was here to face someone in a duel. Who had ever set it up here, had quite a sense of humor on them. This was a treacherous place to move in, let alone to fight. Though deep down i couldn't help but smile and the opportunity to at least try it. After all I basically had permission to destroy the place. And what man doesn't enjoy a spot of Destruction in their daily routine. Though as to who was my opponent I was not sure of, I think I might had missed that memo earlier. Once again I stepped up onto the edge of the pod, and peered out looking for any signs of movement.
I was a simple man, never carried anything flashy with me. Just my sabers, trusted weapons of force users around the galaxies. That and the few force powers I had taken the time to master, which compared to others wasn't a lot. But like I was saying, I'm a simple man. I also need no armor to try and protect me, I wore simple black pants, a red sash tied around my waste, which more times then not came rather in handy. Top it all of with a leather jerkin strapped around me. My I looked like i came from barbaric people, I believed that fighting like this showed a mans true purpose. It showed the very nature of his sole, when you had to rely on pure skill to win a fight. Your approach, your very actions changed, and showed what you were really capable of doing.
A Mans Darkness can only be shown, when he has no other choices, but to draw it from the depths of his soul uncontested. Opening myself to Ashala I spoke a prayer loud enough that if my Opponent was here he would hear it also.
Ashala may you watch over both combatants today, grant them access to your divine power with out pause. May your will today be served, no matter what it calls for. I offer my prayer to the, and hope it pleases you on such a wondrous day.
There is no Light or Darkness, there is only the force. The Balance must be kept.
I smiled, as I continued to scan the area for my opponent.
