Aderon smirked. Being able to read the mind was a useful skill. Knowing what she was thinking certainly helped, but he didn’t want to push it. The Jedi Code was sacred to him, above all feelings, love included. Still, a chance to catch up could prove interesting. Seeing as he was trying to restore Serenno to its former glory, forming alliances with the major houses would be important. He also had his personal plans for Serenno, away from the GA. But no one knew that. And no one could know. The Houses were all an important part of his game. “Indeed. A time to catch up could prove interesting.”

About 5 minutes later, they were sitting in a valley next to the jungle. The valley was full of white roses, of which many petals blew in her face whenever the wind blew. In the center of the valley, a picnic had been layed out, with some chicken and wine. She was drinking the white substance, sipping it daintily. “Things have changed so much... Dante has been ousted, we have joined the Galactic Alliance. I just hope our friendship can outlast all of this.”

Standash follows. four of her honor guard come with her. They serve as both aids and bodyguards. The rest stay in the hanger, watching and observing. Your palace is beautiful. It reminds me a little of the palaces on Naboo. More manufactured than what I am used to on Alderaan. Given your people's history that is to be expected.

Aderon smirked slightly as they boarded the hypertrain. With elegant but sparse furnishings, it was a nice transition into the ornatness of the palace.“Manufactured, eh? Let me hear your opinion once we reach the palace proper.” —30 minutes later— After the train has stopped, they had boarded a carriage for the final stage of the journey to the palace. As they crossed the stone bridge to the palace, the craftsmanship was evident. Lining the bridge we’re hand-forged lamps and stones carved to exactly the same size. They entered the palace through the gatehouse and got off the carriage. Going through a massive arched door, the ornatness of the palace became apparent. With the walls lined with statues of mythical creatures, and the ceiling covered in murals depicting epic battles, there was nothing uninteresting about this room. Everywhere you looked had something interesting to admire. And it was all the result of artisans toiling to make them by hand.“So, what do you think now? Mind you, this is just the entrance hall, there are nicer rooms in the palace.”

It is different than home to be sure, beautiful in its own way. Back home we practice more subtlety. We let the stones speak for themselves, the patterns and grain inherent in the wood are brought out. It is just a different way of doing things. Remeber my people never were interested in building grand structures or armies. We let out planet speak for its self. You people went on a different path. It is still stunning. Manufactured isn't a bad thing, it means your artisans made the art. My people, they bring it out. This is what the Galactic Alliance is about really. Understanding that different isn't wrong. That two distinct styles can both be beautiful. That is what the First order is seeking to take from the galaxy. The see only one solution, one way. They call it order, in fact, it is removing a need for order. Why order things that are already going in a line? They seek to remake the galaxy in their image, missing out on the beauty all around them.

Aderon, Standash, and her various guards walked through the palace hallways. The sun was beginning to settle across the horizon. “Princess Thul, would you mind if we conduct our negotiations tomorrow? It is getting late, and dinner will soon be served.”

How she daintily sipped the wine. She was unlike any other. But his principals... they stood in his way. He wasn’t quite sure of which path to follow; the moral path, or the path of emotion. Eating some of the chicken, he carefully chewed and swallowed it before responding.“Indeed. I’d very much like our friendship to last...”

Standash was not expecting to be put off, not by a count. Governments like this typically respected aristocracy, being a princess meant that she was rarely made to wait. In addition, she figured that someone interested in joining the Galactic Alliance would not be rude enough to push meetings with its Senate president. In a debate, such actions could find a representative censored by the chair, a standard response in the rules of order. She took a breath, she was here to secure a new member to the alliance. She would look past the breaking of decorum, but she wouldn't forget. With a smile that told the world nothing was wrong, she responded. We are in your courts, Count. We can handle things on your timetable. I look forward to the meal. Being raised in Hapean society, the guards were taken aback. Their eyes covered by visors, kept everyone around from noticing the contempt in their eyes. Standash may not be the queen or princess they dreamed as little girls of protecting, but she was better than they could have ever hoped for. Personal slights, or what they perceived as personal slights against the princess were seen as personal against them.

As soon as his shuttle is cleared to land, Admiral Gulch requests to see Count Dooku. Aderon was walking through one of the many hallways in his palace, observing the beautiful light that was flooding in from the outside. He turned around the corner and saw a bunch of white roses. He paused to look over the flowers. They were a fine bunch, with an undisrupted snowy white colour throughout the flower itself, while the stem was a nicely rounded verdant scheme. He continued on when a messangee ran to him.Sir! I came as fast as I could. There is a shuttle that wishes to land here; it’s colours are those of the CIS.“What? What did you say? CIS?” He immediately began walking at a brisk pace down the hallway. A CIS shuttle. This could prove interesting, seeing his intentions.“Tell him that a group of fighters will escort him to the palace.” —15 minutes later— 3 Nantex Class fighters flew out of the hangar. Reaching the shuttle, they guided it to the Royal Hangar.

As he exited his shuttle with his entourage, the Harch Admiral looked around silently. Much had changed since the days of the old Count, it seemed.
Waiting to meet the Count with Krennel were a Dug, a Geonosian and a Utapan. All obviously here as aides from the various planets under the Harch's control.

The door to the hangar itself opened, and out stepped Aderon along with two members of the newly formed Rose Guard. The small group stopped at the distance that would be considered proper. “Greetings, Admiral. Your reputation of efficiency precedes you. I am Count Aderon Dooku. Welcome to Serenno. Come, let us go to the palace, there is much to be discussed.” He gestured to the small train that would take them to the palace in little under 15 minutes.

The Harch Admiral was possibly the oldest member of his race, and was likely the only Clone Wars combatant left alive. Old Krennel's mandibles clicked together, one flesh, one metal, and he nodded.
Upon arrival, his deep, grating voice rumbled out, broken up by the occasional click of his mandibles.
"You have changed much on this world since I was last here.
But I am here for a different reason than mere altruism. I control the core worlds of the Old Confederacy, and I intend to reform it, with time."

Aderon smirked slightly. Here was someone who could prove useful to his cause. The road to rebuilding the CIS would be a long one, and the old core worlds would be essential in remaking it. But he remembered this one. His time reading the logs of the Count who started the Clone Wars has served him well. This was Krennic Gulch, an infamous admiral to say the least. He inspired great fear in his opponents, and he probably still did. With his expertise and Aderon’s money and influence, this could be a very useful alliance. “Indeed. I know who you are, Admiral Gulch. I understand your reasoning for rebuilding the CIS. The rest of the galaxy has... stagnated, and it needs something new to revitalize it.” He manipulated a few of the holographic controls, turning off the sound recording and raising a conference table out of the floor between them. “If I am truly honest, I was personally planning something similar myself. My droid forces are prepared to break out whenever we are ready. I am currently trying to gain influence in the Galactic Alliance Senate. With enough clout, we can start to make demands.”

The Admiral's pincers clattered together in a sound that would inspire fear until one realised it was laughter.
"Dear Count, nothing you have could compare to what I can show you."
The Harch manipulated the hologram himself, adding a memory unit. Suddenly the hologram was taken up by something truly awesome inspiring.
"The Stalgasin Hive is taken, and once again the Foundries churn..."
Krennel spoke even as hundreds of thousands of battle Droids were being assembled on the massive conveyer belts if the Geonosian foundries.

Aderon grimaced. Such conduct was not very stately, and should not have been excused. However, he decided to downplay his actions. This Harch could be of much use to him. He needed droids in order for his plans to work. “Very well, I admit my forces are not quite as impressive, but a large number of battle droids isn’t going to do much without a strong leader for the population to rally behind. Someone who is diplomatic, and can control the masses as well as the politicians. I am no admiral, but it’s going to take a lot more than action to revive the Serparatist Alliance.”

Krennel's pincers clicked in agreement.
"We need allies, friend, access to this Galactic Alliance to steal their power and make it our own. We need control of the rest of our old planets.
We must form a government in secret. As a Dooku, it is only right that you are Head of State, while I take command of the military. "
The Harch watched him curiously, for there was much work to be done.
" Turn your armies over to me, Count, that I may sweep up the rest of our key worlds. I will supply the sheer capital required to make your voice ever more powerful - in raw resources."

Aderon stroked his chin. The irony of the situation was to good. “Very well, Admiral. I’m just going to need a few weeks to get them out from the mountain they are under.” He paused and waved his hand over the table, bringing up a large holomap of the galaxy. The map displayed First Order territories in red, Galactic Alliance territories in green, Mandalorian territories in yellow, Infinite Empire territories in purple, and the proposed areas for takeover in the classic Separatist Blue. Above the capital worlds of each of the groups, a small emblem of the faction was displayed. Above each of the key worlds, a small icon showed what reasource was produced there. “You are right about our needing of allies, they will be key in grabbing control of the old worlds belonging to us. We are playing a dangerous game, seeing as we are right between First Order, Mandalorian Assemble, and Galactic Alliance territory. Seeing as the War is dying down, we will have time to establish ourselves. However, we will need to not overstep, lest we get destroyed before our armies are ready. I will keep the Senate’s attention off us. Once we are established, however, the Senate will be of little concern.”

"In the meantime, we can secure ourselves and gather ally worlds by joining the Galactic Alliance - with the old Separatist worlds held under a single, umbrella government."
Krennel croaked, clicking as he did so.

In the ballroom, two chairs and a table had been set up. Upon one of the chairs sat Caesar. He was surrounded by camera equipment as the first notes of the intro song were played. Ladies and gentlemen, your master of entertainment... Caesar Flickerman! Caesar took a bow. “Thank you! Thank you! I’d like to thank each and every one of you for coming out here to watch me. Tonight, seeing as it is the first night, we will have no talent performance. Instead, I would like to welcome a very special guest indeed. He fights tirelessly to protect us, and will never leave a job until it’s done. May I present to you... Aderon Dooku!”
