Broadcast widely across the HoloNet, the holovid had gone viral almost immediately. Nobody was sure who had discovered it first, but all signs pointed to a random college student on vacation on Vreni Island who was either too drunk or too high to realize what it was he was viewing before he shared it with his friends. In minutes, it had spread like wildfire across the core, and people had already begun to talk. Was this real? Was this guy - looking for all the galaxy like Darth Sidious himself - actually serious? And if so, was he out of his mind? The best case scenario was that it was a hell of a watch; the speaker had a good speaking voice, despite sounding like he swallowed gravel for breakfast. And right at the end of the holovid, he had managed to make the generalized and well-meaning farewell of the Jedi Order sound outright menacing. But the worst case scenario was far, far more sinister.
In the vid, a cloaked figure, his face entirely hidden save for a dark scowl on his lips, stood stock still before the recording device. The background was blocked out, leaving only him to be seen and heard.
Greetings.
As of this recording, the Valley of the Dark Lords is no more. I have taken the tombs of your most revered forefathers and reduced them to ash. I have taken your ancient academy and turned it into dust. In one day, I have wiped your legacy away from your ancestral homeworld with fire, metal, and the will of the Force. Much as I will soon do to you. All of you. All who support you. All who would join you.
I say this not to gloat, to warn, or to mock. I say this so that you can spend the rest of your short and miserable lives looking over your shoulder, looking to the sky, looking to the men you thought so loyal, waiting for the knife that's coming to stab you in the back. This is my curse for you. This is what I leave you with, in the ashes of what used to be your legacy.
You have existed this long because the Jedi allowed it. No more.
The scowl that had been giving voice to the words turned into a vicious smile as the cloaked man spoke his last.
May the Force be with you.

While the above shall be considered IC, this should be considered OoC for shits and giggles. I couldn't help myself.

As before, it started small. Innocent browsing of the HoloNet. Casually flipping through those entertainment channels that haven't broadcasted in ages, just to see if one could catch a rerun. And as before, it spread like wildfire, soon reaching across the galaxy until only those truly living under rocks on backwater worlds had no knowledge of it. As before, the same cloaked figure stood stock still against a dark backdrop, only his nose and mouth visible underneath the shadow of his drawn hood. And as before, the man spoke with a terrifying conviction.
As of right now, as I speak to you, the Sith hold over the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk has finally been broken. After years of oppression and delusion by a man that fancies himself a god, the Jedi have ousted the so-called Windu, who fled his stronghold with his tail between his legs and left his loyal subjects and servants to die. Which, rest assured, they did. By the score. As with Korriban before it, all that remains of the Sith presence on Kashyyyk are dust and memories.
I'm sure that some among you thought Korriban a joke. A prank. At worst, a military exercise. But I tell you now that this will not stop. There is nowhere the Sith will go, nowhere the Sith can hide, and nothing the Sith can do that will alter our course, or change their destiny. We broke one of their strongest holds over a planet.
And until each of them are wiped from the face of the galaxy, we will do so again. And again. And again.
