He was a warrior, a hunter, and a leader.
He was even a king.
The Great Beyond beckoned to him, and his people. Like the Celestials and all the mighty races that came before the Known Times, the Ageless, the Eternal, the Alata, and all their offshoot races eventually made for the Final Havens. They had stayed behind far longer than most of the others who knew not about mortality, seeking to see if there was time yet for their existence and legacy. The Calling became inevitably too strong to ignore.
Yet, at least one remained.
He even returned from the Great Beyond, but he sought not to bring attention to himself, his nature or his origins.
It was not his tale, his time, any longer. No, he remained, because he was loyal, because he cared, and because he believed it was not his destiny to simply fade away into mystery and legend, but to see the peoples become all that was within them to be.
He was no god, nor did he seek to be regarded as such.
He was, in all aspects, just a man.
ooc: To whoever that might remember me, I used to write Sergio "Sam" Ghomesz, Tanicus Perrilys and several other characters, and I often worked in concert with Asyeline Skyrah, also known as Way Too Many Characters (aptly so too), and Dimple Pjenaqott. While the latter two have retired, I'm looking to reboot my very first character, created way back in 2007.
His story at the moment is he's just a wandering stranger, not Jedi, not Sith, more than likely Force-Sensitive. He carries three lightsabers, and an array of weapons, gear and equipment most of the time. But he's not a man of war, OR a man of peace. He often deals with the situation as he sees it.
I'm at the moment looking to intergrate him into the universe at large, but I figured I'd start small.
I also offer up a short storyline that could help kickstart Taralorn's return to the Universe at large.
Coming across a small village/town in some mining/supply planet, he finds the population to be a downtrodden lot who work their butts off for very little profit, and to top it off, they have pirate/gangster/criminal troubles that take all their hard earned profits, under the premise of "protection".
Now this isn't a plot with a conventional stereotype ending. Instead, I'm leaving it completely open ended.
Meaning Taralorn could easily make the people's lives even worse, or he could teach them to defend themselves, or he could drive the pirates/criminals away or even make a better deal for everyone that leaves a confrontation unnecessary. The possibilities are endless, it's up to us, the writers to decide how it goes.
What do you think? Good idea? Bad?
You can write as the civilians, the pirates/criminals/whatever maybe even a Jedi or Sith, and I'm hoping I'll only need to control Taralorn.
Hope to hear your feedbacks.
It's good to be back
