Jedi Peacekeepers If you're reading this, then it's possible you're: A Jedi checking out our new thread, someone who was curious what this Jedi Peacekeeper stuff is about, or legitimately here to find some help. So, let me lay it out for those of you who haven't checked in on the Jedi Council OOC thread (which, I assume, is a lot of you). Basically, the Jedi Order is trying to get back to it's good ol' fashion peacekeeping roots, due to a number of factors. At any rate, as apart of this shift, we are basically putting out a Craigslist style ad. Taking into account recent galactic events IC, The Jedi Order is looking to rebuild its reputation, which has quite frankly been marred to within an inch of it's worth, and as such we are looking for work. The overall aim, is to get Jedi moving around more, and get some more interactions going on between us and various willing groups. So, you may be asking "well, what can I do to help?" (even if you weren't, you are now), well I am glad you asked: what we need is people with work for us, whether it's just dealing with some criminals that are causing trouble, or you've got a sith infestation in your backyard. Maybe your people are being oppressed by the government, or your government is being oppressed by the people (who knows, its possible). What ever your problem is, here is the place for you to post looking for some Jedi help. From there, one of our academies will pass the 'quest' on to a nearby Jedi, and bobs your uncle, your problem is a problem no more.

Taralorn Melvarrik. I'm here, there, somewhere, just give me a ring, and I'll do my best to lend a hand. Always something to do in a galaxy this big.

I'm also ready, willing and able. Doesn't matter for whom or where.

I cannot tell you When, but what I can tell you is Where.
Upon a Forest shrouded World, where Wookiees reign supreme, there shall be an awakening.
Should you chose to accept this heroic quest, would be to either assist in the liberation of those walking carpets or ensure that their corruption has been purged in a matter you deem befitting your Jedi kind.

Sounds intriguing, especially this awakening. Perhaps you can enlighten me further, the Wookiees have become corrupted and need liberation? I was not aware that there was a Dark Presence on Kashyyyk.

Since the founding of JvS (Both the Facebook App, the previous site before the crash, and this one.) the Wookiees of Kashyyyk have found themselves under Sith Rule and enslaved by a foolishly self-styled tyrannical God-King. Some have willingly accepted this, and have found themselves corrupted in the process. It is in the Hapan's best interests to see these people freed, as well as serving my own character's insidious agenda.

Ah, okay. This I didn't know. (Mental note to read up on Kashyyyk threads) So by liberating the Wookiees, and rallying the Rebels (no pun intended), I would be aiding another Sith by doing the dirty work of removing the Old Regime? Which in the long run, could be setting up a serious cold war rivalry. I like this. Count me in. How would we accomplish gaining IC intel about the Wookiee's plight, and how much information can be learned from them? I ask only because this will be important as the story develops.

There isn't much to read into on this site's version of the Kashyyyk threads, however, should you desire to know more about the planet's current IC stance, feel free to check the site's archives. I do believe there was a post in the Royal City giving a quick recap, but I skimmed through it and probably missed some details.
When it comes to my character's involvement, his Sithly interests are behind the curtain of Hapan participation. As he wears a suit of armour (That I'm working on explaining in great detail but had to have it for my time-skip so Rutil and I could be apart of this upcoming RP.) his dark aura is contained through the various complexities of Sith Magic and Alchemy. He'd be nothing more than a man in a cold metal suit should you try to read his presence in the force. Other than that, he's the Husband/Consort to the Chume'Da of the Hapes Consortium, which means he's married to the Heiress of the Queen Mother's throne.
As for getting information about the Invasion/Liberation, I believe your point of contact within the IC realm would either be Rutil - since he's the Jedi that came to Hapes to secure their Navy and armed forces, or Aer - since he's the last of the PC Jedi Council members, before your order does the shake up. I assume both will tell you that the Kashyyyk Sith Order has been ruling the planet for some time, and with that, oppressively keeping them grounded as meat shields so no-one gets brave and strikes at them. Though I have no doubt it'll be much more in depth than the brief description I've tossed up here.
After all that's said and done, I believe I'll get the show started off sometime this weekend... well at least the initial phases so everyone that wants to get involved can do so at their leisure.

Okay then. From what I've Read this "Windu" guy is the one who ran the "Kashyyyk Sith", whom I might also add has NOT been on for over four months, and another Character named Raw are the ones who have currently written on Kashyyyk on this version of the site. (Since it has been over four months I doubt getting in touch with Windu would be easy to get his thoughts on these plans) Which seems to me this planet could use a good story.
The OoC information you have given me is a very cool concept that won't color the characters IC knowledge. Vixont knows OF Sith Magic and Alchemy, but that is as far as it goes and wouldn't know what to look for if it's a passive or subtle type power. I'm sure he'll sense something off, but he'll probably think it's because of what has been going on with Kashyyyk or something of that ilk. Since you shared a tidbit of information, I can as well. Vixont is a Master and Baran Do Sage, so he radiates an inner peace with a slight smugness. A spin on Falleen Hubris. It would be awesome to see how Belial reacts, but since his face is hidden behind a mask....
I guess my next move is to speak with Rutil and Aer. Ic wise anyways. Now, all I have to do is find one of them.
Keep me posted and let me know when I can get the proverbial ball rolling.

well, Rawkill is very likely going to learn of the strike on Kashyyyk soon, so he'll probably show up, and judging by my posting rate and point in my timeline, it'll probably towards the end of the conflict.

I might join in on this little outing to Kashyyyk, maybe show up with a couple of his fellow saurian Jedi for the ground assault and rehabilitation of the Wookiee's.

Rutil, Belial, Aer and myself are fleshing out the details now. I think Rawkill will join in at the end of the fray. The more the merrier.

To all those wishing to be involved in the early stages of the Kashyyyk arc, you're free to show up in Felucia's Council Chambers, having received some sort of contact from Aerandir looking to put together a task force. You won't know it's Kashyyyk, since Aerandir doesn't know that yet, just that the idea is to strike at Sith-controlled strongholds.

It appears we've moved ahead to Kashyyyk's orbit. Vixont, we can still finish up our discussion in the Council Chambers, and if you need a lift to Kashyyyk, feel free to have tagged along in one of Aerandir's ships.
