Naboo was everything that was foreign to Kruor. Lush green plains, rolling hills, and expansive oceans. The wildlife on the planet was diverse and beautiful - the locals were friendly and welcoming. By the Force, he hated this place. There was nothing here to remind the Kissai of his own homeworld beyond the Outer Rim: a planet of ash, dirt, and molten rock. Truly, the Sith was out of his element here.
What had brought Darth Kruor to this planet was unimportant. Perhaps he had been investigating rumors leading him to ancient Sith artifacts. Perhaps he was curious to experience the world where one of the most powerful Sith Lords in the galaxy had been born and raised. More than likely, there was some plot involving the extinction of a particularly fun-loving and despicable race of amphibian creatures. In any case...
The Sith Lord strode through the grassy plains of Naboo, perhaps the same plains that had once been home to a pivotal battle decades ago. Gusts of wind rippled the expanse of grass surrounding the lone figure. A black cloak whipped and twisted around his solid frame. Underneath these robes, Kruor carried only the lightsaber hilt strapped to his leather belt. A simple dark tunic completed his outfit - befitting more for an apprentice than a Sith of his ranking. He was never a fan of bulky armor. Often, these suits would only slow their wearers and dull their reflexes. It was also hard to remain inconspicuous with multiple plates of durasteel rubbing against one another.
Dark gray clouds were beginning to swell overhead as the Sith continued his pace, casting great shadows across Naboo's picturesque countryside. Ahead, the Sith was just beginning to make out the silhouette of a figure standing out in the sea of green...
