Vlusu picked up the glass, and took a sip of the wine, before placing it back down. His hands formed a triangle as he began to speak. "Well I do have some long standing plans that are finally coming to fruition. Now that a reliable military power has finally come about, the plans that the members of my family had set in motion many centuries ago are now in their final chapters, and the First Order is going to play a very big part in writing them. You see, the organization my family created was founded with the sole belief that people are inherently bad, that without complete control, things will always spiral into oblivion. Take the Old Republic. Splintered apart because corporations were given to much free rein. Despite the fact that the First Galactic Emperor instigated the conflict, the events that occurred were bound to jappen anyway. The Republic was on a path to self destruction. And look at what comes out of it. An Alliance that itself was destroyed thanks to the actions of its leaders. But now, look at us. Sitting in the capital of a nation said to have been destroyed many a year ago. That is the difference between us and them. Unlike the democratic bureaucracies of the Republic, the Empire always grows back. Whether it be in the form of the Sith Empire, the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Remnant, or the First Order, we always survive. We understand the importance of survival. Now, I mentioned an organization that my family had built. This organization has been training for the moment to arrive when galaxy-wide peace is a possibility. The galaxy itself is in chaos. The people are looking for a savior, for someone to bring order from the chaos. And I, the leader of Enigma, believe that you and your First Order are that savior. The order you have established upon this world is magnificent. The common people want to see this same order and efficiency in their lives as well. But they must live with the sacrifice of personal freedoms for the greater good. In addition, deep in the Unknown Regions, my family has spent many centuries perfecting the idea of enchancement beyond what was naturally given to us. And we have finally succeeded. This is why I wish to invite you to send a representative to said facility, in two weeks time, to witness the power we have granted to one of our own, Vorce'ehouw'nouzzu. Don't worry, we certainly did not use others of our own as test subjects. Every now and then, my family would take various aliens, such as Taus, for our experimentation. And now, all of the said experimentation has finally payed off." He picks up the glass again, and takes another sip of the wine. "Cheers to the future."

You suggest making these rogues be the scapegoat if the facility is found out?Knowing Soku Ren, he would have made sure that the facility was lost totally if it was to be abandoned. He did not know much of the Infinite Imperium, other than the meeting they had in High Port. Beyond that, they were a slight mystery to the Supreme Commander. He sighs deeply, reflecting for a moment upon the suggestion made by the Fleet Admiral. For now, we will not fabricate anything. We will see even if the Imperium finds out. Knowing the Knights of Ren, they would have sure that the facility vanished into thin air once it was breached and detected. The First Order has a non-aggression pact with the Imperium, not the Knights of Ren.The Imperial crosses his arms, turning away for a moment to gaze upon the scenery of Yaga Minor through his massive holoprojector. In truth, the Imperial viewed the Rebel Alliance, now calling themselves the Galactic Alliance, as the greatest threat to their galactic dominance. Not this relatively isolationist Infinite Imperium. Yet Thrael had made a sound suggestion and he could not ignore it.For now, let us focus on the war at hand. The Imperium has remained quiet for now. But we will keep an eye on them in the mean time, Fleet Admiral. If they try to step in our way, it will be enough justification to subjugate them completely. Wouldn't you agree? "I agree, given the gravity of the situation. Though, I would affirm the notion to consider silence neither trustworthy nor dangerous." Taking the counter logic in stride, moving barely at all in tandem with his internal reflection, the Chiss assessed the information he had already collected on the war the First Order was already fighting and pressed his hands tightly together behind his back.
While the manner of the Alliance concerned him very little, there was the matter of the Wayward Son crew to be considered. While alone they were a considerably lesser threat, he had calculated their odds of destructive capability and survival should they align themselves with the Alliance. With a small hum the Chiss turned to the Imperial and with a small smirk he exhaled a confident breath."I can provide what little resources I possess to the First Order, Supreme Commander," He breathed as he brought his arms around from behind him, placing one across his chest to rest the others elbow against it. Pressing the raised hand to his chin, he donned an expression of contemplation before lifting his gaze to the mass of data that continued to pool upward from the holo projector next to him."However, the most valuable thing I can offer you is my mind and the technological wonder that is Ariela who serves me." He straightened with his words, lowering his arms and bringing them behind him to clasp his hands together once again before his words finished carrying themselves through the air to their desired recipient."I have studied many cultures, their art, their tradition and even their rituals... Much like another of my kind, Thrawn, I too am a master of war, Commander." He paused and looked at Ariela giving her a signal to project yet another hologram of the man he had just spoken of, along with a variety of his records and accomplishments. Not as a display of bolstered superiority but rather as a buffer to his claim."Provide me with what information you will on the Galactic Alliance, or leave me to collect my own, and I assure you there is little they will keep hidden from me. Taking a concept from the Jedi themselves, if I may, everyone has their shatterpoint. I strive to find it, study it and exploit it." As he spoke, little changing in his posture, a small curved smirk began to form on his lips as he gazed at the Supreme Commander with an almost reveling expression of pleasure as he spoke before it twisted into a dark visage of calculation."In the words of my predecessor: 'There are things in the universe that are simply and purely evil. A warrior does not seek to understand them, or to compromise with them. He seeks only to obliterate them.'" He had spoken all that needed to be said, perhaps banking his case too highly on the man he had admired so much, but a confidence hung over him as his expression remained a twisted picturesque form of emphasis to those very words.

After using his force lightning to incapacitate the men standing outside of Nicademus' office, Mortem strode through the door, and was shocked to see the office of this great man. There was beautiful metalworking, an extremely comfortable looking yet efficient sitting area. But what captivated is attention most was the enormous HoloScreen that sat just beyond this arrangement. The desert of glass and steel was displaying a scene out of a fairy tale, one of such great beauty that it captivated him for a few moments. It was a vast starscape, showing a collage of planets, stars, and nebulas, woven together by the inky expanse of space. He snapped out of his captivation, and focused his attention upon the man sitting at the desk. Despite the 7 years that had passed, he very much had remained the same man. He kneeled before this great man, bowing his head before saying "Oh great emperor. How I have pined for the day I would see you again. It has been many years, and I am still very deeply indebted to you and your great nation for making something out of me. Since being left, I have felt lost, and without purpose, but now that I'm here, I find myself feeling enough power to take on an entire army and win, great master.
He paused for a moment, trying to choose his word carefully and not ruin this critical reintroduction to a man that he was trained to idolize, but after seeing his heroics, had come to earn his deepest respect. "I understand that this is a most unorthodox method of securing a meeting with you, but I have spent seven years training, bettering myself, so that I cannot fail you again. Greatest leader, please, except my offer to assist you again. This time, I will not fail. I will never fail you, if I do, I will end my life, as I will never be able to face myself in failure. I hold the utmost respect for you and everything you've created, and I will fight until my last breath to preserve it, better it, strengthen it, expand it.

Savior you say? I was never a man for such honorifics... it can easily inflate egos and make people arrogant.Nicademus looks down at his half-empty glass. He remembered a time when he was Emperor, the Imperial refused the robes and appropriate dress of such a station, keeping with his simple officer's attire. Its only decoration, presently, was the sigil of the First Order; a black outline with a great red maw within the center. A simply uniform that spoke volumes nonetheless.Tell me, this organization, Enigma, is it purely Chiss? What is the purpose of its existence? An educated tactician. If he had examined Thrawn, then Thrael would just be as useful. The Supreme Commander knew the tactics of his own armed forces and their commanders. His own brother, the Field Marshal Artemis Delvardus, was well known for his Blitzkrieg and assault tactics. Nicademus, similar to his father, Cyrus, was a cautious strategist, examining the big picture and ensuring all gaps were sealed and every opportunity was exploited. Thrael could prove to be an unorthodox commander if he had learned from Thrawn's own methods. Orthodoxy was always accepted, but unorthodox were those that could truly thrive.I will give you an introductory task, Admiral Thrael. I wish to see your own tactics and examine your usefulness with my own eyes.Nicademus keys up the holoprojector upon his desk, revealing the planet of AdumarThis planet is upon the very border of our Outer Rim and Unknown Region territories. It has remained outside of our influence and control for far too long. Despite diplomatic overtures, they refuse to join. Can you force them to heel, Admiral? As the individual showered praises upon the Supreme Commander, Nicademus's gaze was more set upon the incapacitated guards that had been left in the wake of the intruder's movements. The Imperial sighs deeply, this was probably the hundredth time he would have to replace his personal guard of Stormtroopers and Imperial Knights with better trained men. With those thoughts set aside, his gaze returns to the male who had knelt before him, calling the Imperial by his past title of Emperor. The Supreme Commander rises from his spot, glancing once more at the incapacitated guards. You know how to make an entry, that's for certain...As he moved away from his desk, a side door to the left of them would open as a pair of Imperial Knights and five Stormtroopers rushed out from the suite's small barracks. The alarms had gone off within the internal security systems, rousing them to rush to their leader's aid. Nicademus raises his hand, indicating them to keep their distance. You call me Emperor, yet I am not that. I have cast aside that identity, the title of Emperor, for it belonged to a dying and decaying Empire. Now, I am the Supreme Commander of the First Order. You speak of loyalty and fanatical devotion to my cause. You have shown skill, despite my displeasure at whom you aimed it at.Nicademus looks down at the individual, his appearance unknown to him. Yet he knew him as Emperor.Who are you?

He set the glass down, relishing the success of these talks. Even he hadn't anticipated they would go this well. "Well, you see, Enigma was originally founded on the basis of improvement of the Chiss race. However, as time wore on, and my family saw the futility of such small mindedness, Enigma has stood beside every empire, albeit in the shadows. You see, such things as Freedom, equality, individual rights. These principles make every living thing a plague on this galaxy. Think of a forest. It dries up and catches fire with the first spark. Now, individuals who do not understand this philosophy would fight that fire, believing every individual plant perfect in its own individual way. But it's the fire that's perfect. Essential. Such a fire would pave the way for civilization to colonize the land, inhabit it. Prosper in it. It can give rise to something that survives for thousands of years. The Clone Wars was a fire that gave rise to the Empire. So think of Enigma as the organization that helps prepare for the fire, stacking up drywood and spreading oil, so that when the time is right and the match is lit, those who are meant to inherit the galaxy will be able to rise from the ashes, literally. We will also help the fire burn, adding more fuel in the form of wealth, men, ships. And once the fire has burned itself out, we will help you rise from the ashes and establish a new, galaxy wide order, one which will bring peace for the foreseeable future." He paused for a moment. "To answer your other question, yes it is composed of only Chiss, though the subjects of our various tests are all.. lesser beings. Those who cannot see the error of their ways. They bear the brunt of our experimentation, as, after all, discovery requires experimentation, and this experiment took many generations to complete. However, the results will fascinate you, if we are given the chance to demonstrate the true power of our creation. You will be amazed at the marvel we have achieved." He paused, considering what to say "But you strike me as one who prefers to see a demostration, a field test, in order for you to be impressed. So here's what I think. I believe that if you provide me with a mission, such as conquering a planet, I will demonstrate to you the power of my forces."

He was slightly miffed that the Supreme Commander didn't recognize him. Then again, since he had a mask on and there was no other method to identify him by. But it was at this moment that he realized that the Empire of old didn't exist. In its place was the First Order, a military organization, not simply another incarnation of the Empire as he had presumed. He though for a few moments, trying to sum up the long story of what had happened to him. Once his thoughts were collected he began to narrate what had happened to him."You see, I haven't been connected with the galactic goings-on for 7 years. You see, I was once a Shadowtrooper, one of the first Non-Force persons to gain abilities via your experiments. I served proudly in the ranks of the Imperial Remnant, idoliziong and respecting you, almost as though you were a god. And the truth is you almost are. You are the nearest I have seen to the perfect being."
He paused and sighed; "But all good things must come to an end. It feels like a lifetime ago, that I stepped onto that shuttle, finally getting a bit of rest. However, that journey did not go as planned, and I suffered horribly for it. My face was scarred permanently, I lost half of my limbs and a significant portion of my chest. Had it not been for the Polis Massaans, I wouldn't have survived. But they provided me with a new body, a second chance to serve you, and not fail again. Since then I spent 7 years as a hermit, training throughout day and night, only stopping to eat a meal once per 3 days, before continuing on, in hopes that I would once again serve you, Emp- Supreme Commander, great master. Even if you decide not to accept my help, I will still fight for you. Until the last drop of my blood is spilt, I will follow you, obey you, assist you in any way I can."
He sighed again. "You probably think I'm a madman. But I assure you, I am very much the same man I was before my accident, just...improved. And I wish to use these improvements to aid your quest of bringing glory and power to this nation. So much has changed since I was last seen by anyone, but I can still see that you are the same man with the same goals you once had. Those goal I hold sacred as the correct path, the only path."

"I would ask for no other nature of task, Supreme Commander." He answered curtly, giving a mild note tot he urgency of the explanation though it held what was beginning to be a noted calm in the imperial's demeanor. The Chiss held firm to his posture and waited until the imperial had finished speaking for making light of the minor details in the commander's task. It was his philosophy never to disregard to detail, even in the nature of belittling it.
There was a significant difference between belittlement and utter disregard, one that could spell ones own death if executed poorly."If you wish them to heel, than I do not envision much difficulty on the part of my officers. If that is what you wish." He breathed, taking into consideration the location, nature and science of the planet that had appeared before him. He had seen it before, but with little but a passing interest while exploring greater elements of the boundary between the Unknown Regions and the Outer Rim."While I have the means to assess the situation of my own accord, there are details I should inquire of from you specifically, if I may." He began, tightening his hands momentarily before turning and giving a cold glance to the imperial, his eyes expressing an almost deadly interest in what he was about to say."Who is it that I will be confronting? What is the greatest commonality in their tactics? How many forces are expected to resist? Stop me if you feel I should slow my analysis, but I'm sure you'll find it is all necessary information one won't find on a holographic reading of a planet." He mused, his gaze taking a more calculated turn before he turned back to the hologram to read what little he could from the data presented to him. With a wave of his hand that quickly returned to his back, he issued an unspoken order to Ariela to take note of what she could gather on the planet he had been assigned."Should I expect reinforcements, or is this operation one to be completed on my own? And finally, to what extent do you wish the system to be subdued into a compliant connection to the First Order?" There was yet another change in his posture as he spoke, but this was one that stood apart from the rest of them. Almost as if on cue, he folded his arms back to the posture he had taken before. Folding one arm before him, opposite elbow cradled against it, he pressed his hand against his chin and took a much deeper inspection into the hologram before him."Are there any military or financial benefits to the control of this system, Commander? I find such details to be intriguing more so than important, to anticipate the actions of those who would seek to take back such a world." Perhaps his last touch had been forward in it's ambitious design, but there was little more he could do to soften his inquiry. Each and every detail was important to the subsequent depression of resistance on a world. Including those required by the front assaulting them.

"But you strike me as one who prefers to see a demostration, a field test, in order for you to be impressed. So here's what I think. I believe that if you provide me with a mission, such as conquering a planet, I will demonstrate to you the power of my forces." The Supreme Commander was quite intrigued by the purpose of Enigma. To prepare the galaxy for the burning of the old so that the new could come forth, from its ashes. For now though, Nicademus had other things to consider. Vlusu wanted to show his new loyalty to the First Order and the Imperial could understand it. He pulls up a holoprojector of the world, Garqi, an agriworld, centered within the Imperial Sector and waved the First Order banner. He calmly gestures to it.I will deploy you and a certain Imperial to this world. Strange reports have me worried of its security. So I shall be sending you both there to investigate and determine the source of these disturbances. Your colleague goes by the codename is Berserker. Give me results, Vlusu, that's all I ask for.He sighed again. Those goal I hold sacred as the correct path, the only path." Your fanaticism and zealotry towards the Imperial cause is commendable and admiring. I know you will serve me well and serve the First Order with great diligence and determination. But I must ask, what name shall I call you? For you have not given me a name to utilize.Once the codename Berserker was given, Nicademus would continue speaking.I believe it is time to test your training then, Agent Berserker.A holo-image of Garqi appears between them seconds later.I am deploying you, alongside a Chiss Admiral named Vlusu, to the planet Garqi within our Imperial Sector. Certain activities there are making me suspicious. Reports are not all together truthful I believe. Both of you will uncover what is going on and report back immediately. The Imperial keys the holo-image off before looking at the soldier. Are my orders clear, Agent Berserker?(Went off the bio of mentioning your codename so correct me if I am wrong!) "Who is it that I will be confronting? What is the greatest commonality in their tactics? How many forces are expected to resist? Stop me if you feel I should slow my analysis, but I'm sure you'll find it is all necessary information one won't find on a holographic reading of a planet." ================================ "Should I expect reinforcements, or is this operation one to be completed on my own? I find such details to be intriguing more so than important, to anticipate the actions of those who would seek to take back such a world." To the first question, there was plenty of Imperial Intelligence having been gathered. You will be facing the forces of the Adumari Union. They have skilled starfighter pilots, blastsword duelists and nobles who lead a number of armies. I doubt they will be much of a threat to the cohesion of the First Order stormtroopers, but their pilots will prove quite the match. As for the second questionI will leave that to your discretion, Admiral Thrael. If you feel you need reinforcements, especially during the fight, I will readied to dispatch additional stormtroopers and ships to add to your mission. I have some corps that are eager for a good fight! As for the last question.Adumar sits upon our frontier as a vital system. Capturing it will further secure our borders along the Outer Rim and the Unknown Region territories we control. Their skilled pilots, as well as industry and manpower, will add to our growing power.

Vlusu finished what remained in his glass, pondering how best to respond to the Supreme Commander, before speaking again. "Hmm. Garqi. That's an agro-world is it not? The elements in the crust turn all the flora purple. Well, it shouldn't be to difficult to handle. My men are well trained, and I have faith in them, as well as the Imperial you are sending me with, this Berserker. As for this alleged security issue, it should be a simple matter to deal with. But an important one nonetheless. Internal stability, especially in times like these, is key to not only growth, but also survival." He stood up, putting on his coat "Well, Supreme Commander, if it'a results you want then I have no doubt you will not be disappointed. I should be going, as I don't want to miss the rendezvous with my colleague." He bowed, as a sign of respect for the Supreme Commander, before walking out of the office.

As he listened to the Supreme Commander, he knew that his faith was not misplaced. He looked up and thought for a moment. "Yes sir, I will follow your instructions to the letter. I will not fail you this time, I swear upon my life. I will bring back successful news, or I won't come back at all." With that, he strode out of the office, eager to serve his master.

Vlusu entered the office, saluting before he began speaking. "Sir, I bring good news. We crushed a large scale invasion on Garqi. Apparently the Muuns hate you as much as you hate them. Your agent, Berserker, performed well in battle. However, I regret to inform you that he was unable to join us today, as he currently is trying to get a new command ship, as the old one was destroyed when his crew joined the invaders. However, they were crushed. They lost nearly all their ships, so I get the feeling they won't be bothering us anymore. My fleet is currently en route to Kuat, as they are going to repair the ships. We sustained heavy damage, however, they were utterly defeated."

The ex-military director walked into the lavish office, noting its similarities to the offices of the Supreme Chancellor. He noticed a man in the room. He could immediately tell that he was a practical fellow, since although he was obviously leader, he wore the clothes of a military official. However, although he was dressed in simple clothes, he knew that he was a man of great importance, as he carried an air of importance and authority. He observed the strange insignia on his shoulder, noting that it was the same as those on the enormous crimson banners that hung at the front of the large compound. He immediately deduced that this man must also be a native of Eriadu, as the planet had produced many Republic, and by extension Imperial and First Order officers. He could tell that the best way to get this man to listen would be to cite military achievements and their shared home planet. He thought for a few moments, formulating way he would say, before he finally spoke. "I can tell that you have left the world of Eriadu to live a life up in the stars, just as I have. That you have devoted your life to a nation or state. I dedicated myself to defending the Republic against the onslaught of the Separatists, just as you have dedicated yourself to this state, the First Order. Now, if you know your military history, then you will know of the great conflict known as the Clone Wars. I fought in that conflict, and now I am back, here to inflict my will upon those who oppose me, and assist those who share my beliefs. I have studied tactics used by the generals of the Old Republic, right up to tactics that were utilized by the droid armies of the Separatists. Now, I know that the world I have awoken to is very different then the one I left behind, but I know that this nation represents whatever shred of remembrance there is of the Grand Army of the Republic. And know that I have returned to fight for this nation, in hopes of seeing a single flag reign across the galaxy, a single government uniting the galaxy. Bringing peace. Like the peace that lasted for the 2000 years of the Republic. In the end, the Republic was a weak system, fraught with greed, lust, corruption. The military was the only branch of the Republic left untouched by the politics and infighting the rest of the rotting carcass suffered from." He cut himself short, chuckling for a few moments, contemplating the irony and hilarity of the situation, before he spoke again. "But you saw right through all that, didn't you? The mentioning of our homeworld, the lengthy discourse regarding the Republic, the military. You saw right past that, all the buttering up before I hit you with the big news. You are not like most other people I have encountered. You are not easily distracted, you know what is yours and how to get it." He sighed before speaking again. "Very well. Since there is clearly no fooling you, despite the lack of finesse, I will tell you it straight. I believe that my... skill set is uniquely suited to assist you and your nation."

Angela floated into the room like her namesake before the metal portal closed up behind her. It was now that the enormity of this room sank in. She looked about, noticing the luxury that so reminded her of home, her parents, her childhood. The beautiful screen arced accross the room, displaying the most beautiful image she had ever seen; the remains of a supernova. The various tiers extended out in a mishmash of different hues, swirling, blending together yet splitting apart. All of this outlined by the cold expanse of space, as though the remnants of the humongous explosion were an island of color, an oasis of brightness against a sea of inky black water, of deep black hues swirling together like the waters in a whirlpool. And there, standing before the holoscreen, silhouetted by the beautiful image on the screen, was him. The Supreme Commander. The moment he turned to face her she was glad that she was wearing the flimsy-looking, nearly see-through dress. She was glad she decided to look her best. Her mother had always said that Nicademus would become a handsome man, but she had never expected this. His flawless features were complemented by the perfectly made hair that had been made up to such a standard of excellency that she wasn't sure how it was possible to get ones hair so impossibly straight. His face was underlined by his crisp military uniform, that gave him a sense of simplicity and yet carried with it an air of sophistication. And his eyes, she longed for his eyes. The turquoise lakes that were his iris', the pearly white of his corneas, the inky black of his pupils... all of these called out to her like a mysterious whisper, drawing one closer, only to be swallowed up by the unknown. She couldn't believe this. When she was a mere ten years old, she had a crush on him, a childhood fancy, but now it had developed into something more. From that moment forward, every instant she spent apart from him would be torture as she called upon the banks of her memory, trying to recall every detail of his face, the indescribable deep of his eyes. It was at moments like these when a small crush becomes something deeper, a lust, a hunger for them, when you want them to love you, to never be separated from them. She relegated such thoughts to other areas of her mind, focusing on her reasons for being here, what she hoped to achieve. She began to speak in a tone not unlike the tinkle of crystals blowing in the wind. "I realize that this is most unexpected, but allow me to explain. We have met before, though you may not remember me. I am Angela Ziegler, daughter of Finn and Emilia. We met many years ago, while my parents were taking a trip to Eriadu. They became close friends and so I was introduced to you. My family has a tradition of assisting the Empire or any form of the Empire in their plans. I can help you, but not in the way you think. See, I am a doctor, a woman who has dedicated her life to medicine and the assistance of others. So, I am here to assist." She ran her hand over the desk, feeling each individual grain of the wood, relishing the feeling of running her hand over so smooth a surface. While doing this she brushed Nicademus' back with her hand, blushing slightly at this insignificant brush. He wasn't likely to notice at any rate. She began speaking again, her words smooth as silk. "I have... some reasources under my control, namely a fleet, a tiny army, and doctors, all of which I plan to use to help ease the suffering of combat on your officers and men alike. And you, of course." Her blush increasing a bit upon saying this, she continued. "Essentially, I am pledging the loyalty of myself, my fleet, and my people to the First Order. I could create a medical bureau for your army if you do not have one in place." She paused for a moment, allowing what she had said to sink in, before continuing. "My fate in in your hands."

Vlusu entered the office, saluting before he began speaking."Sir, I bring good news. We sustained heavy damage, however, they were utterly defeated." Nicademus clicks his teeth slightly, damnable Muuns... he had good reason to make them second-class citizens on their own homeworld and this just proved a point. First, the IGBC attempted to be abrasive to Imperial occupation, then came the assassination attempt, followed by two rebellions and now a fleet battle over Garqi. He would have to repress the Muuns further, from now on. A great number of them, formerly under the employment of the Banking Clan, served as slaves across a number of worlds while the remainder were kept upon Muunilist.
For now though, his devious thoughts towards the Muuns go away as he refocuses upon Vlusu.I am very pleased with this report. It only confirms my own feelings towards the Muun population and their sentimental feelings towards the very government that allowed their homeworld to be sacked. It is unfortunate that they inflicted heavy losses though...He strokes his chin slightly before glancing at the Chiss. What sort of vessels did you fight against, Vlusu? Were they stolen Imperial ships or of another design? He cut himself short, chuckling for a few moments, contemplating the irony and hilarity of the situation, before he spoke again."But you saw right through all that, didn't you? The mentioning of our homeworld, the lengthy discourse regarding the Republic, the military. You saw right past that, all the buttering up before I hit you with the big news. You are not like most other people I have encountered. You are not easily distracted, you know what is yours and how to get it."He sighed before speaking again."Very well. Since there is clearly no fooling you, despite the lack of finesse, I will tell you it straight. I believe that my... skill set is uniquely suited to assist you and your nation." I never once served the Republic, nor would I ever. I have always served under Empires. Those words were the greeting given to Jiinan Gabbett as the Supreme Commander sets down his datapad to get a good look at the fellow Eriaduan native. Only a small core of people from Eriadun now existed within his command structure as the majority came from the new territories of the First Order, namely the Deep Core, Imperial Sector and the Unknown Regions. Quietly, the Imperial examines the man before him, leaning forward in his chair to look plainly at Jiinan.Tell me about your skills then... Military Director. What makes you so fitting to join the First Order?"I realize that this is most unexpected, but allow me to explain. So, I am here to assist."She ran her hand over the desk, feeling each individual grain of the wood, relishing the feeling of running her hand over so smooth a surface. "My fate in in your hands." I will advise you, Angela, you might want to cut back on the touching and keep your distance...Nicademus speaks, at last, after Angela finishing her speaking. He sets down the datapad that had been in his hands, examining new reports from across the frontlines and within the Imperial territories. The ongoing fighting at Taris, the encounter with a Muun rebel fleet at Garqi, the integration of the newly conquered territories in the Core and Expansion Regions... there was always something going on in the First Order. So much lively activity compared to that of the former Galactic Empire that ruled.
Nicademus did remember Angela, though faintly, from his childhood. Although most of those memories were rather broken up. He did not like thinking about Eriadu much these days. After all, he detached himself from that world and his family to seek his true destiny among the stars.I am only saying that for your own safety. There is someone, in my life, who will certainly not like those actions and affinities towards me... She can be very protective and possessive of me. Especially since she is the mother of my two unborn children. I would rather not have a fight break out in my office.Thankfully, Illaria was not present in the room. Yet she was force sensitive and could probably detect the feelings of Angela that were certainly being projected within the room. Nicademus could only hope that his lovely Lady Ren would not come barreling in here. Given her present state though, hopefully, she would remain in bed and docile. In the end, what had to be said was said to Angela, a fair warning of what had developed within his life since they last saw each other.
He did recall her skills and interests in the medical field. Just as his sister, Azria, was interested in another field of science that helped with the conditioning and training of their Stormtroopers. The First Commissar's work never ended when it came to the psychological brainwashing and conditioning of their soldiers into fanatical warriors of the Imperial cause. Her request was not something he could hardly let go though.I daresay we can use a medical bureau. Doctors can be in short supplies when it comes to wars, with the wounded and maimed aplenty among my Stormtroopers. They may be the best men and the very face of the First Order, but the resistance of our foes is tenacious. There are still wounded that pile up, a mound that is dwarfed, in size, by the mound of the dead.Nicademus keys something upon his datapad.I will effectively allow the creation of a military medical department, led by you, Angela. You will serve as Superior Director of the Imperial Medical Bureau and Imperial Medical Research departments. Whatever you need, in terms of resources and personnel, will be at your disposal, through my command and approval.

Vlusu chuckled slightly, musing over the situation, before he spoke again. "Well, sir, I don't think you would believe me, but the ships were of Seperatist origin. As in the very same Separatists who threatened the Galactic Republic. They're ships were of pitiful quality to say the least, but they made up for it in numbers. Hence, I would be wary, as the logical conclusion is that the Muun people are attempting to start up the Seperatist cause again, to combat the First Order." He finished, drawing his hands across his chest, a devious look in his eyes. "With your permission, sir, I would like to replace the losses in my fleet, and hunt down this neo-Separatist threat. They have severely damaged my fleet and killed several of my men, so I plan to utterly destroy them. I owe them that."

Jiinan chose to briefly address the Supreme Commander's comments about the Galactic Republic before moving on to the more pressing matters of the conversation. "You see, I wouldn't know that. I have been frozen for nearly 70 years. I don't know what has happened since the Clone War. Last thing I remember, the Jedi and the Republic fought alongside us, trying to defeat the Separatist Alliance. Then, I wake up, and find out that the old Jedi Order has been smashed, splintered to bits, and the Republic had been turned into an Empire. Nothing is the same as I remember it. But, alas, one must move forward with the times, am I right?" He caught himself, and before he could ramble further, he changed the topic to the second part of his response. "Now you ask what makes me qualified to join the First Order. Well, I am a... tactician of sorts. I can win a battle from the safety of my command vessel just as easily as I can supervise the construction of a superweapon. I studied the Subjugator-Class cruiser after its destruction, looking for an exploit should the Separatists rise again. Now, you may not have heard of the Subjugator-Class cruiser, but the point remains. I am just as at home commanding a fleet in space as I am building a superweapon. I can help your nation in the same way I helped the Galactic Republic of old. In other words, I could essentially further improve your nation."

Once she and her companion, a female Imperial Knight named Faina Nikulin, have presented themselves to the Imperial Elite Guards standing sentry outside of the Supreme Commander's office, and are subsequently granted an audience with Nicademus Delvardus IV after explaining that they have come to report to the Supreme Commander concerning a joint mission between the Imperial Knights and Nicolina's Shadowtrooper platoon, Nicolina enters the office with Faina.
Stopping the regulation distance from the Supreme Commader, Nicolina stands at attention as she salutes Nicademus crisply and says, Supreme Commander, sir! Commander Foresi of the ISB, reporting on our mission to The Maw, sir! Not one to waste a lot of time with unnecessary details that Nicademus is more likely than not already familiar with from the post-mission report she made during the return trip to Muunilinst, Nicolina gets right to the point, The mission was a success, sir, and the Knight Hammer plans have been recovered. Turning her head slightly to glance towards Faina, who will present the datacard containing the plans to Nicademus, Nicolina adds, As I believe my report makes clear, sir, the mission would not have succeeded were it not for the quick thinking and decisive action of Imperial Knight Nikulin, sir.

"But of course, Supreme Commander. I never meant to touch you. It was a simple mistake" Angela took a few steps away from him, taken aback by his words. She tried to keep such thoughts out of her head, knowing that on the off chance this other person was force-sensitive, her thoughts would betray her. Promising herself to return to them at a later point, she decided to focus her attention on the business side of this meeting. The Supreme Commander had already given the go ahead for the creation of her military medical department, and had authorized the use of anything she required for the creation of said department. "I am honored that you accepted my request. It would be my privilege to serve under you. As for men and material, I think I have enough doctors and ships for now. I would, however, like some form of place to house both the research section and the medical bureau, perhaps a space station of sorts. I would also prefer to have some extra security, for as far as ground troops go, I believe that my forces are severely lacking." She paused for a moment, gazing at the titanic holoscreen which currently displayed an image of a nebula. The enormous clouds of gas formed a ghostly looking reddish-orange spectacle on the never ending black of space. Refocusing her attention on Nicademus, she looked into his eyes for a moment before gesturing to the seating arrangement layer out before them. "Well, my fleet won't be here for some time, so I was hoping I could spend the time here. We do have a great many things we could talk about."

Illaria had not been present in Nicademus’ office when Angela had first begun showing interest in the Supreme Commander, and much as he thought, it was a good thing she had not witnessed the woman touching what was hers. Also, quite fortunate for Angela, the Lady Ren was much too wrapped up in the Chaos of her own thoughts swirling around the echoes of multiple heartbeats resonating within the Force. She was distracted and had been for months on end, which was why the Knight was relegated to a supervisory capacity on mere scouting missions. It was beneath her and she knew it.
One of which she had just returned from with Harnan, another Knight of Ren, close at her heels. Clad in skin-tight robes paneled in crimson and onyx, the sleeveless tunic was belted just above her waist. Terminating in two tabards that hung at the height of her knees, dark leather boots rose to meet the material while a zeyd-cloth mantle draped down the length of her back and across her stomach; though it did not do much to hide her swollen belly at this late stage of her pregnancy. It was common knowledge now, within the First Order, that she was carrying the Supreme Commander’s heirs and there were few who rejoiced.
However, as Illaria swept into Nicademus’ office with the air of secrecy she always seemed to carry herself with lately, it was clear that it had not been her first stop. Apparently, the cafeteria held that honour, judging from the two tacos clutched greedily in her hands. While her current affinity for food and the condition of her altered body habitus could be temporarily overlooked, she is a true fighter—you could see it in her eyes and in the quiet confidence that seemed to scream rather loudly. It is a dangerous look that briefly passes over her expression, so brief that one might have missed it.
Illaria shoots Nicademus one glance with her sapphire eyes and raises a single eyebrow. She was curious as to why she had walked in on him with another in such close proximity, not at all observing the rules of propriety that the First Order so prided itself upon. It is a mere second of consideration she affords the two before pretending not to notice the Supreme Commander in his own office—in the way that she always does when she wants his attention.
Instead though, the Shapeshifter seems to shrink in form and presence as she extracts herself from the office proper and wanders over to one of the lounges off to the side, seating herself to face the Supreme Commander. However, Illaria is not so far removed that she cannot keep an eye on the proceedings, as she often did while Nicademus took meetings for the First Order.
Every Empire needs a Ruler. And the Knights of Ren were never far to ensure Nicademus’ continued reign.

As of late, Harnan had been spending more and more time not far from Illaria's side. Both by choice and because he had to. It was hard to tell which it was any more. Life had taken quite the turn when it had become clear Illaria was pregnant. As far as anyone was concerned or knew, they were Nicademus' heirs. That alone had warranted his assignment to her protection when she was out on missions. But somewhere deep within his own thoughts, he had his doubts. It was these doubts that caused him to want to be by her side. Thankfully, she did not protest too much to it.
He could tell she was frustrated about it all. Which was why he was on his best behaviour around her. He had already incurred her wrath once before. And now that she was pregnant and hormonal. He suspected he might not survive it again. So he followed behind her, observing her as she had made them stop by the canteen. There was something amusing about Illaria double fisting tacos as they headed to Nicademus' office. His armoured gaze rested upon Angela as he walked into the room behind Illaria.
This was a rather unusual situation. In that Nicademus was spending time with a woman other than Illaria, and so close together at that. He supposed it was only a matter of time until someone besides Illaria showed interest in Nicademus. The man was the leader of the First Order. He silently followed Illaria over as she moved over to and sat down upon the lounge. Harnan instead electing to remain standing just next to it. This could certainly complicate things
