This particular area of the Imperial Strategic Command belongs to the Imperial Knights, an order of force-sensitive personnel that once followed the Fel Dynasty who created them. With the demise of the Fels, however, after the death of their last Emperor, Cade, the Imperial Knights would find patronage and leadership with the reigning Supreme Commander, Nicademus Delvardus, who was a former Emperor himself. Despite setting aside the Imperial title, the Knights continued to follow Nicademus and serve him loyally. In gratitude for their services, a section of the complex was designed specifically to meet the needs of the Imperial Knights and to house them.

* The massive doors which served as an entrance to the Tower of the Imperial Knights open as Aeryn approaches, without breaking stride the Jedi Knight walks into the tower. As the doors close behind him, Aeryn feels a different presence in the force. Calm, yet cold, a driven purpose with the power of the force behind it, the same feeling he felt from the Knights that where guarding the General in his office except here it was far more potent. As Aeryn looks about the interior of the main entry area he doesn't have much time to explore as two red armored men approach him. *
" You must be the new recruit, "
* Aeryn looks up from under his hood, his right hand grasps the hilt of his lightsaber from underneath his grey and black robes. With his left hand he brushes his hood off his head and looks the lead Imperial Knight in the eyes*
" Either you show me to the armory or lets get this over with "
" Jedi scum !!!"
* The second Knight goes for his saber but is stopped by the lead Knight. Who silences his comrade with a curt nod*

" A cadet will guide to the armory Morningstar, your assignments begin after medical trials"
* The two Knights walk down another corridor away from Aeryn leaving him standing alone. This was going to take some adjusting. As Aeryn began to walk forward a young boy of maybe 10 runs up to him. The boy salutes to Aeryn *
" Sir i am cadet Tanzel, i am here to be your escort and personal page if need me "
* Aeryn looks at the boy, clearly the Imperials took training far more seriously then the Jedi did. But then again it was training for a different purpose here*
" Take me to the armory "

Anya made her way into the Tower of the Imperial Knights and went straight for the training room. Seeing as Nicademus hadn't shown up, she went on about her stretches. She was already dressed for the occasion, a tank top and shorts. It was a far better choice than her last attire. She didn't know what to expect this time around. Sure, she was up with the simple nature of a spar, but she wanted to see if those same feelings that stirred then would return. She was certain there had been something that sparked between them, but she remained completely uncertain about the matter. She hoped this time she'd find a few clearer answers.

*Gavin followed Anya, but said nothing. He could already tell upon their arrival she was focusing upon the encounter. It might have been a small spar, but he knew Anya to always dive into things were serious focus.
He stood close with his arms crossed, his trench coat covering the majority of his body. He remembered all those times watching her, giving her advise and pushing her when he knew she could do better. Now there was no need for such things, but simply admired the woman she had grown into.*

A pair of doors to the sparring area opened as Nicademus walked into the room, escorting by a squad of four Stormtroopers and a pair of Imperial Knights. The soldiers remained near the door as the Supreme Commander walked over to where Gavin and Anya awaited him. Anya's presence was all too known, but Gavin's appearance... was unexpected. The Imperial suspected some sort of connection between the two, but did not seek to invade such privacy.
He removes his cloak and tosses it to the side before unbuttoning his uniform to reveal a military-issued workout outfit; military fatigues, Empire-issue. He stretches a bit, getting used to a fabric that seemed so foreign to the Imperial now. Nicademus inspected it, making sure nothing could be easily ripped before entering the area where Anya waited. He smiles at the Imperial Knight who had been has savior... if it wasn't for her, he would have been long dead.
Should we do what we did last time, Anya? Just fists? Or perhaps use some training weapons? I could use some practice with my sword arm.

Anya turned towards the doors as the opened and Nicademus made his way inside. Just like before, he was being escorted around. Such was the requirement of holding such a title as he did and after the recent attempts on his life, it made sense that he kept skilled soldiers close. Stil, she wondered if it was bother to him being followed around like he was. However it was a question for another time.
She turned to fully face him as he removed his uniform to reveal his workout attire. This time, both of them would be more comfortable. As he stepped up and posed the question, she took a deep breath. "I'll leave the choice to you. But if you really want the practice we can go straight into training weapons."

*Gavin's eyes redirected themselves towards the door as his head shifted just enough to look over his shoulder. He gave Anya credit. Normally such interactions with an Emperor or Supreme Commander was unheard of, but she seemed to pull him in easily enough. He didn't know what she had done to establish her place like this, but it was something to be praised for. As the two began to prepare for their spar, Gavin turned to them before slowly taking a few steps back. It had been some time since he had seen Anya fight. Now would be as good a time as any to see if she had improved or at least kept up her skills.*

Nicademus makes a sharp whistle and gestures to a couple of the sparring staff. Two practice weapons were thrown at them; a pair of electroblade training swords were placed within the hands of Anya and Nicademus. He felt the grip upon his sword, examining it for a moment before looking at the Imperial Knight. He wondered how this would go with training weapons in hand. The Imperial levels his stance before flashing a grin.
Takes me back to my cadet days at the security academy on Eriadu. Hopefully I don't break any noses this time.

Anya took the saber and looked down at it for a moment. It had been so long since those early days, though she used regular training lightsabers. She had started at ten, only a few months after Gavin found her. She glanced over to him, the memories coming back. Hours upon hours of constant training, though it wasn't so tough in the beginning. But she had been eager to learn, eager to understand the power she had within her being. So many times did she push Gavin to keep teaching her every time he stopped to give her break. Always had she teased him at being old and unable to keep going, though she learned it was never the case.
A soft smile came to her lips and her eyes reflected the light within those emerald orbs. So many memories, so many lessons. After all the training and now time apart, he would get to see where she stood on her own against another. The shine and smile remained as she looked back to Nicademus. She let her hand drop, the saber resting lightly at her side. She looked calm as she took in a deep breath. Never before had she followed the approach Gavin always used. But she was always watching, understanding what was happening and would now make her attempt at that style as she let go of her resistance, her bodily guard. She would flow like the river as Gavin mentioned so many times.
"Well, Nicademus, your move. But I don't think you'll have to worry to much on breaking anyone's nose this time. After all, you have to get close enough for that."
It had been some time since she had last spoken his name to him. He had told her to, and considering the nature of the spar, she still believe it was okay. Still, the way it felt flowing off her lips only stirred the feelings she had been attempting to keep back for now. Not only was this her show to Gavin, but the hope revelation of truth to the sensations she received and if he thought the same as she wondered.

The Supreme Commander changed his stance abruptly to appear readily himself for an attack. His eyes analyzed the possibilities and options before making his move. Nicademus would lunge forward, thrusting his training sword right at Anya. It was a bold starting move to go straight in so blindly and recklessly, but the Imperial had confidence within his veins. Renewed confidence because of his own successes and that of the First Order. Leaving the throne of the Empire had seemed to enlightened his mood and taken much weight off his mind.

At first, Anya seemed to just stand there with no intention of fighting back. But as the lunge got close, she stepped forward on her right foot, letting it twist inward. As she did this, her right hand moved, twisting so that the blade pointed towards the ground as it slipped across the front of her body to meet Nicademus's lunge. The angle and momentum in which she engaged him with was just enough that it would redirect the blade further to her left instead of giving him the force that would allow him an easy spin.
Not a split second before the training swords met, Anya spun around to her left, using the angle of her right foot to allow for a smoother and quicker spin. Smooth and fluid was the movement as her back passed mere centimeters from his shoulder, her eyes looking over her right shoulder towards him until she was too far along to see him anymore. As she reached the point where they faced away from each other, her left hand moved to touch his back and gave a slight push before spinning the rest of the way, bringing her sword across in a near horizontal slash at his back, though from the lunge and her slight push, she expected to just slip over his back.
When he'd turn to her again, he'd see the shine in her eyes and the slight smile playing at her lips. It was a clear indication that she was enjoying herself, while still holding other secrets deeper within.

Panno stood in the forge set aside for him and any others who wished to take up the practice. Inside there were many different ways to smith. From the traditional wood and manual labour way all the way up to the most modern machines that can instantly be set at any temperate in order to form the metals. The room was extremely hot the further in you got, starting at 30 degrees and in the center it was nearing 80. Large buckets of water, oils and everything else were scattered around in order to combat the heat or cool down the metal.
Standing by an anvil Panno was currently shaping a shoulder pauldron for a new suit of armour. Hitting the metal so lightly if he did not know the metal was shaping it was seem almost pointless. Most of the work had been done, and he was just inscribing the Imperial insignia on the outside. Cortosis, naturally brittle was cold, hard and unforgiving once he was done with it. The secret passed down from master to apprentice was the key to his position, and although they no longer served an empire in earnest the insignia was more out of tradition. Blowing off the metallic dust that had built up he squinted judging the thickness. Hitting it thrice more Panno brought it to the rest of the suit hanging on a rack a few feet away.
Since the attack on Nicademus he had worked to replace and fix the damaged suits. Since the attack he had stayed in this room working.

Nicademus felt the push upon his back and suspected something was coming. Using the very tip of his feet, the Imperial pushed himself further away, narrowly missing the horizontal slash aimed for his back. He adjusted his stance, noticing the Imperial Knight's gaze. She clearly was enjoying herself, which was good. The Imperial grinned slightly before using better advance technique by thrusting forward at as a feint, then slashing the sword in the direction of where Anya would go. He aimed to either clash with her blade or at least get a nice hit on her arm.

Anya watched as he grinned and moved in for his attack. Making another trust, she knew there was more to this attack in his mind. Anyone who had fought at any kind of level knew one couldn't just follow up with the previous move. But she knew he was smart, meaning she couldn't flow with the same evasion either. Still, she made her move, moving slightly to her left, seeking to move in closer, making his attack with the training sword useless in such close quarters.
Yet, he had been ready, slashing out at her just as she started moving. While the attack was quick, removing a lot of the strength behind it, it was still enough to push against her and force her into a new path different than what she aimed for. Her blade met his as she began to move further to her left. Still following the approach she started with, she gave up her resistance ad the urge to push against him. It was hard keeping the mindset, despite the training she had gone through. Instinct always led one to clash with another, yet she was seeking to do the opposite. While she pushed against him for a moment, her mind eased off and her body's tension faded. She let the strike against her push her forward until she leaned down and dropped into a roll, angling her saber as she went to let Nicademus's continue on over the top of her.
The moment she rolled to her feet, her back was to him, though she wasted no time as she sprung up in a spin, her blade moving above her as she brought it down on him with a single handed swing.

* A sliding durasteel opens as Aeryn walks into the armory, looking around the large room he could see various suites of armor and lightsabers on the walls. Before he has time to take a closer look a grizzled old man comes through a second set of durasteel doors at the back of the armory. The man looks Aeryn up and down and with a curt nod motions him forward. Aeryn could sense the force from within the man though more of dim light then anything else, with a thickly accented voice the man intructs Aeryn to strip and give him any weapons he has on his person. *
" Excuse me "
* The old Imperial knight snorts *
" Everything must go new blood, I dont care who you are where you come from. I only care that i get you outfitted with what you need to perform your duties to the First Order"
* Aeryn can see the man didn't have time for pleasantries or introductions. The armorer most likely had his hands full with equipping all the new Knights and keeping the active ones in good order. Aeryn strips and hands his robes over to the old man who seals them in packaging and places them on shelf in the back. While the man is away a small droid appears and scans Aeryns body, the man then reappears with a black set of imperial knight armor and lightsaber and hands them to Aeryn.*
" I thought we wore red ? "
" We wear red, but I believe the General has other plans for you "
* Aeryn dons the black Imperial Knight Armor and notices the red first order emblem on each shoulder. The suit fits perfectly and Aeryn is surprised how it doesn't hinder any of his movements. Aeryn takes his new lightsaber and clips it on his left hip, he takes his personal lightsaber and clips it to his right hip*
" Takeing that with you i see "
* Aeryn gives a suttle half smile to the old man *
" I like to be prepared "
* Aern turns to leave the armory when the old imperial knight calls out to him*
" You do your duty to the General and complete and a few missions then come back and see me, if you don't die like the others you may be worth getting to know "
* Aeryn laughs lightly *
" I will see you soon "
* Aeryn leaves the armory and walks the halls of the Tower, as makes his way around the Tower he can hear other in a room below him. Aeryn makes his way out onto a balcony and can see the General and a few others in the training area. Aeryn crosses his arms over his chest and watches those below him*

The day I get bored of hitting things really hard will be the day I lose both my arms. Maybe not even then. It had never been his wish to be the armourer for the Knights, but when his Master died over Kuat during the crusade it was thrust upon him. An untrained, unready Knight told to make the armour to protect everyone. It had taken him many years to perfect his trade, and every time someone died while wearing his armour he felt as a personal blow. So yeah it was pretty easy to not have a sense of humor. Listen I made something for you. How does being my guinea pig sound? Reaching under the table he pulled up a round object covered in an oil cloth, uncovering it Panno placed a red helmet on the table. I know you cant see it, not really. It matches the armour and attaches to the back. Phrik covering a plastoid composite alloy interior. Basically its super light and will be able to take a lot of damage. Almost as much as your thick skull could anyways. It should fit your head like a glove. Go ahead and try it on.

Her blade met his as she began to move further to her left. Still following the approach she started with, she gave up her resistance ad the urge to push against him. The moment she rolled to her feet, her back was to him, though she wasted no time as she sprung up in a spin, her blade moving above her as she brought it down on him with a single handed swing. Nicademus noticed Anya was giving way, but something didn't seem right as she leaned down and dropped, rolling away from him. The Imperial immediately countered with his own strike, raising the sword behind him and parrying it away with a simple deflect move. The Supreme Commander swung his sword around, making him turn fully to meet Anya face to face. With a single hand gripping the blade, he lunged forward again, aiming to strike at her sword arm again. Anya's blade deflect to the right as she landed, her knees giving slightly as absorb her minor landing. The deflection to her right gave aid to her next evasion, allowing her shoulder to keep moving back. The further it went the more the rest of her body started to follow. However, this caused her right hand to lift up a bit and her left hand moved to meet it. In that moment, she moved swiftly, switching hands and spun around, using the blade in her left hand to help guide Nicademus's lunge onward though no strength was added to deflect it. When she had finished moving, her back was against his and their training swords touching.
In that moment, everything seemed to slow down to Anya. Her first thought was on his attack. Each one had been a lunge side from the second that used a lunge as a feint. What was on his mind? Was he focused on the spar or was he simply planting thoughts in her head as to his style of fighting? It didn't matter as she had learned to always expect the unexpected and believe the opponent was more skilled. That way she'd always be ready and never get over confident.
But it wasn't the only thing that came to her mind. They were back to back, pressed up against each other. She felt her heart rate slowly rise as her breath grew a little heavy. The fight had barely started and had done little to get her blood pumping, though. She had the sudden desire to turn around to face him and not in the mind to attack. But they stood there, in that moment, like mirror images of each other. And though she felt the desire to turn to him, something whispered ever so faintly in the darkest depths of her mind that this was how she'd remain: always behind looking at his back, never in front and never beside.
As they stood there, they again stood on even ground able to make the next move, not knowing the other's actions.Who'd make the first move? And would in be a retreat or an attack?
